AN: Your boy's back for a short while. Sorry for the wait. I kinda didn't know what to write. But here I am posting a long ass chapter. Enjoy. 3

•••

Throughout the day, I've been asked questions by my allies and some classmates. Mostly asking if I was alright or whose clothes I was wearing. Especially from Levy.

"Hey, are you certain you're alright?" She asks.

"It was just food. It's not like I stumbled into a pit and cracked a bone." I answer.

"But yet." She replies, still concerned. "Enough Levy. Like I said I'm fine."

"Alright, I'll quit asking. But whose clothes are you wearing?"

"Um, mines," I respond. I can't tell Levy that I'm wearing Natsu's or I won't see the end of it.

"Lucy, this is a male uniform. Don't lie." She tugs on my sleeve.

"Fine... It's Gray's." I say trying to shake her off of me.

"Oh? I didn't notice you two made up?" She states, now engrossed in this now open conversation.

'Shite.'

"Yeah," I say warily, facing the other way.

"And if I recall, he never left the lunchroom." I mentally curse as she throws me a glare.

'I notice I can't get out of this one...' I set one hand on my face and drag it down, placing pressure as it goes down.

"Well?" She answers, having enough of my bullshit. I took one glimpse at her before sinking my head into my arms on the desk.

"Natsu," I say muffled by the clothing. She just rolls her eyes at me.

"State it clearly to me." She tugs me by my shoulders, struggling to pull me upright.

"Fine, just stop pulling me," I spoke, sitting up. "I said it's... Natsu's." I hesitate a moment before mentioning his name.

She just stares at me with a dull stare. Her brain is presumably struggling to figure out what I just mentioned. As if a switch was flipped, her eyes enlarged and started to shake me back and forth by my shoulders.

"Oh my gosh. No effing way! You...you have to be joking. Tell me you're lying."

"I'm not. Levy stop shaking me or I'll smack you in the head." She backs off and brings the nearby desk next to mine, joining them before sitting down.

"So how did it happen? Tell me all the details." She speaks, now piqued in her own illusion of my so-called blossoming love life.

"All he did was apologize and offered me his clothes to wear," I answered.

"Oh? Why in the first place would he offer you his clothes?" She questions.

"Levy," I spoke sternly, seeking to finish the conversation.

"No. Tell me. I told you I want to know everything."

"Ugh, you're a nuisance you know that," I replied as I rested my head back down.

"Yeah, I notice, now come one." She responds, now on the edge of her seat.

"Some people concluded to not do anything with their lives except being pains in the ass." I saw her roll her eyes and let out a slight sigh. She knew precisely who I was speaking about.

"So what are you going to do? I recognize that your tolerance is running thin by now." She sets her elbow on the desk allowing her to sit her chin in the palm of her hand.

"Is it that noticeable?" I respond. She merely nods her head.

"Just thinking of that clown makes me upset. I've been holding off from punching her straight in the gut, maximum force, no lie." I answer, imagining the satisfaction of returning back her own medicine.

"So uh, why don't you." She responds with an encouraging expression on her face.

"Wow, I would never expect you to approve of that." A smirk plays on my lips.

"Shut up. I learned too many martial arts not to apply them." I just chuckle.

"I can't do that nonetheless. What good would it be if I were expelled from punching someone, simply to not get admitted into any college?" She ponders for a second.

"You're right. But you can punch her on graduation day as a parting gift." She grins.

"God, what dramas have your mother gotten you in?"

After school concluded, I headed home as swiftly as possible. I had to go shopping for some shampoo as I just ran out and grabbed some snacks and some food. It was going to rain in the evening and I didn't want to get caught in it.

Unlocking the door at such speed, I basically ran upstairs to my bedroom. I changed so hastily, I amazed myself. Maybe I have a hidden talent. I snatch my purse and an umbrella just in case it did rain and head downstairs, making a beeline to the laundry room. I put my ruined clothes in there and made sure to split his from mine. Who knows what they could've done to it? Luckily we have two washers and dryers, both machines stacked on one another. I started the load and left for the living room.

As I set my hand on the knob, I debated if I should leave behind a note for him. Contemplating for three minutes, I settled to leave one.

"Be back, going to the store." I scribble on a sticky note before slapping on the kitchen counter. I stride back to the door and take off, locking it behind me.

Walking quickly to the convenience store with my earphones in my ears listening to some Conan Gray, I make it in fifteen minutes tops, entering the store. I pick up a shopping basket and roam through the aisle. Placing everything I needed in the basket, I headed to check out and went out of the store. And as I anticipated, it was going to rain while I was out. The rain poured down as I pulled my umbrella out before heading down the road back to the house.

Natsu's POV (A little crappy)

After allowing her to change, I head back to the cafeteria where Gray and Gajeel await. Knowing them, they were chatting about me and it was somewhat pissing me off.

"What the hell are you yapping about over here," I say, having a seat next to Gajeel.

"Oh, ho ho? You're back from your restroom break?" Gray speaks with a huge grin plastered on his face.

"Shut the hell up," I say irritated as he was making fun of me.

"So how'd it go with your wife?" He adds still with that dumb smirk on his face.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I answer, not preferring to deal with them.

"You know what he's talking about. You went chasing after her." Gajeel buts in, putting a spoonful of curry in his mouth.

"What the hell are you going on about?" I try to get them off my back. They know, I can't hide shit from them.

"Quit acting dumb, it's not working," Gray says. "Just answer us."

Without giving them a precise answer, I respond. "Nothing went wrong." Both Gray and Gajeel exchange glances.

"Well, I'm rooting for you. Don't wreck this up." Gray states, going back to his meal.

"It's not like that all right," I reply, resting my cheek in my palm, squishing half of my face.

"Mmhm, whatever you say. Just saying: Don't mess this up." He replies with his mouth full.

"Disgusting. And like I mentioned, it's not like that." Gray swallows his food before responding.

"First, how dare you? Second, don't tell me you're still..." He fades off, I catch on what he was trying to hint.

"Hell no, I would bury her six feet down." I huff out feeling aggravated thinking about her.

"Good. I thought I would have to hit you." He puts another spoonful in his mouth.

"Ha, I would want to see you try panda boy," I respond, now a smirk creeps on my face.

"What did you call me Pinkie?" He says back, offended.

"You heard me Droopy eyes." I retort back.

"Squinty eyes." He continues now ready to throw hands. Same with me.

Gajeel just watches as Gray and I get into an insults fight. He doesn't even budge as we throw up some hands. He only budged once throughout our brief conflict. And that's when we slammed Gajeel's face into his food.

"You bastards." He states as he wipes his face off.

As we don't notice what we did or the threatening aura, Gajeel gets up to clutch our collars and drag us out and beat the hell out of us, but they have beaten him to it. A girl named Erza walks over and clears her throat to gain our attention. We stare at her. Her face had a grin on it, but it didn't seem right.

"Can you guys..." She starts, her smile vanishing. "Cut the crap and take this outside!" She states, striking us on our head, hard. So hard that it felt like I got a concussion.

'That will leave a bump.' I realized as both Gray and I fell unconscious on the cafeteria's floor.

What seemed like a short time, I woke up in a bed. As I sat up, I felt a pain pass through my entire head. Putting my hand on my head, I wince at the discomfort.

"Shit, how hard did that gorilla woman hit me?" Looking around, I recognized I was in the infirmary.

Feeling the strain softening, I raise the cover off me and get out of bed. Sliding my shoes back on, I folded up the bed as pleasantly as I could, which wasn't good, and headed towards the door.

Just before I left I glanced at the clock to see that school was practically over. Damn, I was out for the rest of the day. I mean, I'm not complaining, but I would rather skip without a killer headache. I draw my phone out and text Gajeel and Gray. I received a chime and checked my phone.

"Great, Gray woke up way before me." I chose to catch them at the lockers as there was no reason to head to class with five minutes left.

Leaving the room, I headed down the silent corridors towards the front. Just as I was savoring the quietness for my head, some loud ass person ruined it. As the annoying noise seems to advance towards me, I want to give them a piece of my mind.

As they grew closer, I noticed who the voice belonged to. The bitch I wanted to bury six feet under.

Their annoying laugh was like a hyena's. They're basically a Cicada, unpleasant and aggravating. I continue moving. Their silhouette becomes more clear with every passing step. There is the source of the sound. Lisanna fucking Strauss.

She leans on one of the lockers, yelling on the phone. When I drew closer, I felt like I wanted to throw up. She makes eye contact with me as I hear her say: "Hey ima call you back." Hanging up the call, she places it in her skirt pocket before heading towards me.

"Natsu." She answers all cheerful as she prances herself to me. I just ignore her; there is nothing good about her, and now I know.

"Natsu, I'm calling you." She takes hold of my arm, stopping me. "How's it going?" She says.

I just glare at her. "Can you let go of me?" I spoke harshly, already feeling my patience running thin.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" She states, letting her grip loosen. "All I wanted to say was sorry."

I tried to snatch my arm back but to no avail. She tightened her grip. "Lisanna, let go of me." I was growing upset. Saying her name out loud left a sour taste.

"Come on, I said I was sorry so let's hang out again." She says so sadly, trying to get me to comply. I knew what she meant by "hang out." It's over and it's not getting a reboot.

"Cut the bull and let go." I pull my arm, getting out of her grip.

"You ass, I'm giving you a chance." She spoke now furious.

"Yeah, whatever." Leaving her to dumb lies, I keep walking.

"Bitch!" She yells at me. I just laugh to myself.

"I've been called worse." I spat back, not looking back.

"Oh, like what?" She spoke.

"Your boyfriend." That makes her explode with anger.

"Good luck finding someone who will put up with your bullshit," I say lastly, leaving the area and arriving in the front of the school. Checking my phone for the time, the bell rings and all the students flood the hallways.

"Great, just fine. I should've waited outside." As I get squashed between people moving towards the exit, I just follow the wave. They can just push me out. Or so I thought. When I grew close to the door, I slammed into the pole separating the doors head first.

"Oww." Grabbing my forehead, I got out and found a spot near the grass to wait.

Watching the students leave the school, scanning the crown for Gray and Gajeel, my eye catches something blonde. Who was running out was Lucy. Her face was focused on something.

"Wonder where she's going?" I mumble to myself, seeing the two idiots.

"Wow took you long enough." I walk towards them to greet me.

"Yeah sorry," Gray says as he wraps his arm around my shoulder. "So, how about some pizza, hm?" He grins as I agree.

"Nice, see you later then." He waves off and heads home. Gajeel doing the same.

I do the same. It was quiet walking down our street. No chatter, no cars, nothing. It felt nice for a change.

Entering the house, I kick off my shoes and flop on the couch, leaving my backpack on the floor. Feeling content, I let out a long sigh. Almost falling asleep on the couch, I jolted up and went to my room, picking up my backpack. Taking a quick shower, I get ready to leave to head to the pizza parlor. Walking back down the hall, I realized how quiet it was. Mostly she would be listening to music, but there was nothing. Going to the kitchen for something to drink, a pink piece of paper catches my eye. A drink in my hand, I make my way over to the note.

"Be back, going to the store." I pick up the note and throw it away. At least I know she's not here. I slipped my shoes at the door where I kicked them off and left the house. In ten minutes, I made it to the parlor and walked in. Gray and Gajeel were already here.

"Well, you took your time," Gray says, taking a sip of his soda. I take a seat and Gray slides a drink towards me.

"We already ordered, so let's just chill." He answers.

After eating all the pizza we wanted. We expressed our goodbyes and headed home. But as soon as we went a step outside, it poured.

"Damn it, I didn't bring an umbrella," I say, pulling my hoodie over my head.

"I didn't either," Gray responds.

Just as we were getting soaked, Gajeel pulled out a black umbrella. Looking at him, we bombard his space, trying to get out the rain. Irritated, he pushes us back.

"Get your own." He says walking away. Gray only smirks, running after him. He knows he can use Gajeel since they live close, leaving me in the rain.

Not wanting to get wet any farther, I quickly decided to head home. As I walk down the street, I hear footsteps coming my way. Turning the corner, I see a familiar face in front of me. She makes eye contact before making her way towards me.

"What are you doing out here with no umbrella?" She asked, placing the umbrella over my head.

"I was in the area, okay," I say moving away from her.

"In the neighborhood, huh? For how long?" She eyes my soaking attire.

"Long enough." I walk to the house, the rain pouring on my head.

"Hey wait a minute." She says, catching up with me. She places the umbrella over my head again.

"I don't need it." I move the umbrella away.

"Yeah sure, you don't need it, if you're trying to get sick." She moves it back.

"Can you just leave me alone?" I respond.

"No." She replies.

"Why?"

"Because this is payback for letting me borrow your clothes." She says looking away from me. "Plus I don't want to take care of you if you get sick." She mumbles that part under her breath.

But I heard it. And it somewhat made me happy. Taking a heavy sigh, I take the umbrella out of her hand and allow both of us to take shelter. Walking home together was awkward. But it felt nice.
