A/N: I think this chapter clears up the last chapter.

Chapter 27

Monica

Present day

I continued to struggle as the men carried me to the main office. I knew it was the main office because I used to work here and that room used to be my office.

These guys are strong but I know I'm stronger but, in my defense, I'm being held by three guys. They reached the door to the office before they dropped me inside of the room and closed the room behind the hell.

"I don't care who you are, let me out!" I screamed at the guy who was sitting in the chair. His back was facing me so I didn't know who it was but I was pissed.

They had whacked Chandler pretty hard in the head and god knows where he was now.

"You shouldn't have brought him here Monica" he said but he didn't turn around.

I knew that voice, usually that voice wasn't so harsh but it was very familiar, I know who was behind the chair.

"Richard?" I asked as he turned around in his chair.

"What were you thinking? I warned you about this!" he said as he stood up in his chair.

Wait, he didn't have the right to be mad. My sister in law had been kidnapped, my fiancé… my friend had been beat up and I had been lifted here by three dudes and he was mad?

"You really think that I was going to sit still while you kidnapped Rachel?" I asked as I folded my arms.

"Rachel is my responsibility, because of me they are keeping her alive. What I don't understand is why did you bring him here" he said but he was much softer this time.

"Chandler would do anything for Rachel, I couldn't stop him from getting here. Wait, is Rachel here?" I asked,

But Richard didn't answer, he stood up from his chair and walked towards me.

"The Gellers were certain that he was dead, you know what you just did right? You put a target on his back, there is no way he's getting out of here alive"

What?

'There is no way he's getting out of here alive'

Those words of his kept ringing in my head. I had just gotten him back. I cannot lose him again. Things were just beginning to become normal between us. The kiss that we shared before we entered the warehouse was everything I have been wanting since I kissed him yesterday, everything I had been craving since as long as I can remember. He cannot die, I won't let him die.

"Richard-"

"Monica, I have no idea how I'm going to get you and Rachel out of here"

"Richard, you owe me" I whispered.

Richard looked at me with concern in his eyes.

"You owe me for my father" I said and felt tears threatening to fall from my eyes.

"Monica, I had nothing to do with-"

"No, you had five years to tell me what really happened, five years! I could have been with him, but you let me believe that I… that I killed him because you led me to believe that he killed my father" I said as I folded my arms.

"Monica that's not fair, I didn't know he was alive, not until I saw him at Ross' party" Richard said as he leaned back on his desk.

I was getting angrier by the second, I needed to know if Rachel was here but his tone told me that if she was here, she wasn't harmed, Chandler on the other hand… I needed to get to him before they beat him to death.

"Fine, I will get him out of here, you just lead me to him" I said.

"I told you-"

"Family, Richard. You promised" I said.

Richard did not talk for a couple of seconds. Just like Chandler, Richard too was a man of his word, but most importantly he was a great friend of mine and an even better mentor.

I know I'm not asking for much, I knew that but I needed to get to Chandler this instance.

"Alright, but getting you out is my responsibility, but if he gets into any trouble, that's on you" he said as he turned around.

Richard walked towards his desk and started rummaging through the drawers. He picked up something and walked towards me.

"Here, you will need this to get out of the room, after that you are all on your own" he said as he placed the key in my palm.

I held the key tightly as I watched him walk back to his desk towards his phone. He hit a button, the button to call a guard inside.

"Wait, how will I get him and where did you keep him?" I asked but before he could answer the same three men came in and held me by my arms.

"Take her and dump her in the same room as that guy" he said before I felt someone put a cloth on my mouth.

Oh no! I knew what this was. I tried to hold my breath for as long as possible, but his hand didn't budge, just when I thought that I had freed myself, my breath gave out and I breathed into the cloth as I felt myself losing consciousness.

My head hurt, everything around me moved way too slowly and looked pretty blurry. Where was I, how did I get here. I felt a nudge against my arm but where did it come from?

"What the…" I whispered.

"Hey, you okay?" I knew that voice, but what was he doing here, what were we doing here?

"Chandler?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's okay, I'll get us out of here, you just concentrate on my voice okay babe?" he said. That's when everything came rushing back to me.

The three guys had brought me to Richard who had given me a key to escape from this room. I tugged my hand and saw that they were tied behind my back while my legs were taped as well.

"We'll be fine" I whispered, if only this headache could go away.

"Oh yeah?" he asked as I felt his fingers on my wrist. Even in this turmoil that we were stuck in, that touch of his felt reassuring.

"I have an idea," I said. I could already feel my senses coming back, even my head was feeling better by the second.

"What?" he asked like he didn't believe me. Although, I was just drugged a while ago, maybe he thought that I was still a bit delirious.

"I have a key in my right hand, I can try and cut the tape around your wrist and then you can escape" I just had to make sure he was out before I could search the place for Rachel. Even though Richard didn't tell me if she was here, I had a feeling.

"I'm not escaping without you," he said.

Oh my god! For once put yourself before me Chandler!

"Chandler, they wouldn't do anything to me, but they will skin you alive, besides Rachel isn't here" I said as I started using the key against his wrist. I could find Rachel by myself. Richard promised me that he wouldn't hurt her. I just had to make sure he was out of harm's way.

"What? Rachel is here, so both of us need to work together to get her out. Also, where did you get the key?"

"Richard, he gave me the keys before his boss drugged me. This key will get us out of this container" I said.

"Monica you need to give me the key, you are still woozy from the drugs I'll do it"

I thought for a while. But he was right, I'm not even close to fifty percent of my active state.

"Fine" I said and gave him the key.

"You can talk to me, you know. We have the time. It would give you something to do, you know for you to regain all of your consciousness, faster"

He wants to talk? Right now? But he did have a point, if I have to get him out of here, I needed to regain my consciousness as soon as possible.

"Umm, I don't know what to say"

"How about your restaurant? You were pretty excited about that. How about your relationship with Ross? you can literally talk to be about whatever you like. Or I don't know, do you want to ask me a question?"

I thought for a while. Something that was gnawing at me for quite some time now.

"Do you regret us? That you used to love me? That Rachel got kidnapped because of me? That if we never happened, then none of this would have happened" I asked.

I really needed to know the answer to this. Did he think that we were worth it? Did he think that I was worth it?

"No, I don't regret us. That one year we were together was the best time of my life, I have never connected with anyone like I have with you and I do not blame you for anything.I think, I'm still in love-"

Ah! I cannot hear that, not right now. I need to get him safe before we could say anything to each other. So, I pushed my wrists apart and voila! I had freed my hands.

"You did it!" I said before I knelt down and undid the tape, just a few more minutes and I can finally get him out of here.

After I was done with my feet I went towards Chandler and undid his tape. He was right, the key had barely done any damage to the tape.

He quickly undid the tape at his feet before he turned around to face me.

He looked horrible. Those people really did a number on him.

"Oh my god Chandler!" I said as I put my hand on his cheek, I couldn't help myself. I saw blood on his lips, the lips that passionately kissed me. I wiped the blood with my thumb, I didn't care, he would probably do the same for me.

"Don't worry about it, I'm fine," he said before we headed out.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Do you know where container 507 is?" he asked.

"Yeah, follow me" I said, I had worked here for about a year so I knew all the containers pretty well.

The rest of our way towards 507 was quiet, none of us spoke anything. He asked me about my knife, but I didn't want him to feel guilty about that. Why was it that we found new and creative ways to make each other feel awkward?

"Are you sure she's here?" I asked.

He nodded and pulled down the lever trying to make as little noise as possible, before he pulled the doors open.

"Monica? Chandler?"

"Rachel don't worry we will get you out of here" I said and started unwrapping the tape around her wrist while Chandler undid the tape around her ankles.

"What are you guys doing here? How did you find me?" Rachel asked.

"Now is not the time for this. Rachel you remember my car, right? Here's the key take it and hide inside of the car and wait for us there" he said before he gave her the keys.

"What about you guys?"

"I'm not leaving without a fight," he said.

What? I cannot have him lingering here for a second longer.

"Chandler? You promised!" I said as I looked down at him.

"Look Monica, I get it, but they messed with my family. What if they come for Rachel again or for me? I need to make sure they would leave us alone"

"Then we will move somewhere outside of Florida, outside of America but please don't do this" I pleaded.

"I have to do this Monica. You can drive Rachel back to my apartment. I will be back soon I promise"

"No, I'm not letting you fight these guys alone"

"What? No Monica, it's too dangerous"

He was telling me this was dangerous, when I know these guys won't hurt me but wouldn't think twice about killing him.

"I told you Chandler we are doing this together"

I knew Chandler was contemplating his option, but he should know by now that he had no option. There is no way I'm letting him do this alone.

"Alright, Rachel let's get going" he said as he led us out.

We walked slowly towards the rear exit. We couldn't get caught not again. So, while Chandler was leading us, I watched his back as we walked out with Rachel in between us.

"Alright, that's my car right there. Go in there and hide in the back" he said.

Come on Chandler, please tell me you changed your mind. Please tell me that we'd fight them another day when we were more prepared when we had actual weapons. But Chandler just smiled at me.

This guy! Why did he have to pick a fight with everyone?

"Hey, who are you!" someone shouted from behind us.

"Ms. Geller?"

Slowly men started flooding towards us, wow this is going to be a bloodbath. I put my fists up ready to fight before I saw Chandler looking at me.

He smiled at me before he took off running to hit the guy in front of me. Another guy started running towards him so I punched him in the face and knocked him in the ground.

Someone tried to grab me from behind but I was fast, I elbowed him in his stomach before I tripped him by his legs. I saw one more guy coming at me and got him pretty good in his jaw before he backed up and took off running in a different direction.

Wow, recruitment was bad.

I got another guy and flipped him on his back before I threatened to hit him in his balls, he simply put his hands up in defeat before he backed up.

"You doing okay there?" I heard Chandler ask me but I was too busy watching his six and taking down the guys who came after me.

Chandler was a better fighter but I guess he hadn't been practicing much these days. I, on the contrary, practiced my fighting skills regularly.

I took down another guy, before I felt a punch on my back. But it didn't hurt much, I turned around and knocked him to the ground before I tackled the guy who I was already fighting.

All of a sudden, something caught my eye. The guy who punched on my back had a knife out and was coming at Chandler.

"NO!" I screamed and tried to deflect the knife from Chandler, but he punched me in the stomach before he pulled his arm back to get a good momentum on his knife.

I couldn't let Chandler get hurt.

I lunged towards Chandler before I felt a piercing pain on my stomach. He stabbed me. But I don't think the blade made it through me and into Chandler.

The dizziness was back. The pain was terrible. I don't think I have felt so much pain ever before. This really hurt.

But then this guy twisted the knife inside of me. I screamed out in pain. I was about to blackout from all the pain when I heard a familiar voice calling out my name.

"Monica?" he knelt down beside me before he lifted up my shirt. I looked down at my stomach, there was so much blood. That made me feel woozier. I was losing a lot of blood and too fast. I started feeling groggy.

I needed to keep my eyes open, otherwise… I don't want to think about anything else.

Richard promised me, he promised me that he wouldn't let anything happen to me.

'Family, Richard. You promised'

"No one touches her!" Chandler screamed and held up his hands.

The pain was getting to me, I wasn't able to concentrate on anything, not even his eyes. Was I going to die? I let out a scream because the pain was becoming unbearable.

Out of the corner of my eyes I saw Richard joining the circle. He looked concerned, but I could be wrong, I wasn't even sure how I was keeping myself awake.

What if I die? I couldn't die, Chandler and I had just gotten a second chance at love, I couldn't die now. I couldn't die without telling him that I love him too.

"Chan-" I tried but everything went black.

A/N: I think this is the longest chapter in the series or close to it. This chapter was fun, writing a fight scene from Monica's point of view.
