Recap: she quickly felt exhaustion creeping up on her.
"Riddick, what are you doing?" asked Jack slightly worried for what he would do.
Not moments later they heard clanging as creatures started crawling on the skiff.
Jack's head whipped around at each sound. Luna leaned her head back and waited for Riddick to start the engines again.
"Can we just get the hell out of here now?" asked Jack anxiously.
"We can't leave…" started Riddick as he glanced at her for a moment before turning his gaze back to the front again. All of a sudden, a bioraptor landed on the window but was quickly scared off by another one. "Without saying goodnight," finished Blade just as Riddick flicked all the switches again and pushed the handle all the way forwards.
The creatures outside screeched as they were incinerated by the flames of the engine. Luna gasped as she was almost thrown out of her seat from the sudden boost.
'Feels like a rollercoaster,' she thought with a smile, as she righted herself.
It was a bit bumpy as they flew against a lot of bioraptors on the way up. The beasts made splat noises as they bounced off the ship. Finally the ship came into clear space and everyone relaxed. Luna glanced to the front and saw endless black space and a large dark planet.
'Space is beautiful,' she thought, as she gaped at the sight.
"A lot of questions, whoever we run into," spoke Jack, suddenly "Could even be a merc ship," she pointed out.
Luna frowned at her words before her eyes widened. 'Dark Fury! The second movie! I totally forgot that was going to happen.' she thought, worried before she relaxed. 'Wait, with how many things there have been changed Dark Fury might actually never happen.' she thought a bit hopeful before she yawned.
"So, what the hell do we tell them about you two?" asked Jack with a frown. "Tell 'em Riddick and Blade are dead." said Riddick calmly. "Tell them we died back on that planet," continued Blade for him.
Luna felt the make-shift bandages around her chest loosen and shifted a bit. She wanted to replace the bandages with new ones but not doing that in the same room as Riddick and Blade. She swallowed. That wouldn't be much of a good idea though she knew she didn't have a choice. 'I'll have to do it. Who knows when we'll get back to civilization.' she thought and sighed.
"Hey Luna." called Jack suddenly catching her attention
"What is it, Jack?" she asked curiously.
"Now that we're in the skiff and out of danger, maybe we could dress those wounds of yours with some real bandages. I mean, there should be a first-aid kit here somewhere, right?" said Jack, which made Imam nod.
"She is right. Those make-shift ones are not proper." said the man and Luna sighed, she knew she wasn't going to win this one.
"Alright," she murmured. Luna prayed to whatever God was up there that this wasn't going to be an embarrassing moment.
"Does anybody see the first-aid kit?" asked Jack as she looked around.
"Here." said Blade as he held up a white box with a red cross.
Luna didn't know if she should smile at finding the box, or cry. Jack stood up and grabbed the thing and then walked over to her. "Let's start first with your arm and ankle and then the rest." she said and Luna swore she saw her eyes glint with something that spelled no good for her.
The ankle and arm were quick and not so hard. They were cleaned and rebound quickly. "Alright, now you have to take off your shirt." said Jack with a grin that made Luna squirm in her place.
She nodded and slowly took off her shirt.
Imam instantly turned his eyes away. Having no bra left to wear she blushed a bright red when Jack made swift work of her side and then went to her back. "Okay, turn around." she ordered and Luna did as asked.
She saw Blade and Riddick staring at her and felt her face burn even harder. Both growled at the sight and she couldn't help the shivers of pleasure and excitement that ran through her. Staying in such closed quarters made it hard for her to control her reactions to them. And Jack's teasing grin wasn't helping.
Jack cleaned the wound at a seemingly slow pace. At least that's what Luna thought before she felt Jack pull away. "Done." she chirped and then pulled out another roll of bandages and started wrapping it around Luna's chest. When Jack came to her chest she stopped though. "Eh, Luna?" Jack asked which made her turn a bit so that she was facing Jack.
"You're gonna have to lift your arms or I can't bind your back," she pointed out but the grin on her face made it clear she was enjoying this.
'Little brat is doing this on purpose!' she thought and glared at her before slowly raising her arms.
A rumbling purr was heard and she glanced at the sound and saw Riddick and Blade staring at her breasts.
Her face turned a whole new red and she quickly turned away to keep the embarrassment from showing on her face. The purr had attracted Imam's attention and he glanced around only to gasp when he saw both convicts staring at Luna.
"Mr. Riddick! Mr. Blade! Have you no shame?!" reprimanded the priest as he quickly walked around and then used his body as a shield, effectively blocking her from their gazes. At the same time Imam kept his own eyes closed to prevent himself from seeing improper things.
After a few moments of pure embarrassment, Jack was finally done and she quickly put on her shirt again even though it was ripped in the back and side.
As long as it covered, it was good enough for her. "Done," chirped Jack and Luna send her a withering glare, but she only returned it with a cheeky grin.
Jack sat back down in her place and closed her eyes. Luna yawned and did the same, ignoring the heated stares she got from both convicts. It wasn't long before sleep got her in its grasp and she knew no more.
Some time later she woke up due to some faint aching in her back. Shifting she sat up and opened her eyes. She sighed and was about to close her eyes when a voice stopped her.
"Couldn't sleep?" asked Riddick softly. She glanced over at him in surprise and saw that both of them were awake. She swallowed nervously. "N-no, just some pain, that's all." she said and looked away. She heard the chairs creak and then footsteps coming her way.
Looking back to Riddick she saw he was now standing right in front of her. "Ya promised us somethin', kitten," he rumbled softly and she felt very shy all of a sudden.
"I know," she whispered. "Come 'ere," he ordered and she slowly stood up and limped silently towards him.
His hand suddenly shot out when she was in range and pulled her closer by her good arm. She gasped in surprise and stumbled against him from the pull.
She heard him purr and looked up at his face. "Time to claim our part of the deal. Or some of it, at least." he murmured and grabbed the back of her head and roughly kissed her on the lips. She gasped at the roughness and pushed against his chest for moment.
He ignored it and his tongue dove into her cavern and explored every bit of it.
The kiss was dominating and made her instinctively submit to him. She moaned softly as she relaxed slightly. The kiss seemed to go on for ages before he finally pulled slowly away.
Her cheeks had gained a red tint to them from the kiss as she panted for air. He looked at her face and smirked. It was a cocky manly smirk that told her that he was clearly proud of his work.
She felt something brush against her arm and glanced to the side. Blade stood there watching her. She blinked as he seemed to stare at her.
Unexpectedly he grabbed her bad arm and started pulling off the bandages. "What are you doing?" she asked softly, making sure she didn't wake the others. He didn't answer and once he was done he brought her arm up.
She tried to pull away but his grip was too strong. "'Member the second part of the deal? You told us ya were gonna give him some blood." murmured Riddick in her ear making her shudder.
She nodded and watched with morbid fascination as Blade brought her arm up to his lips. He opened his mouth and showed his pearly white teeth.
"Is he-?" she started but was cut off when Riddick clasped a hand over her mouth right before Blade bit down on her worst cut. She let out a muffled yelp and struggled to get her arm back.
Riddick shifted behind her and wrapped his other hand around her waist, making sure he had her other arm locked to her side. He nuzzled into the side of her neck, breathing her scent and nibbling gently. It distracted Luna a bit from the pain of the bite.
Luna whimpered as she felt him started to drink. The feeling was strange and felt somehow a bit arousing. As if someone was gently tugging on her veins. She felt slightly sleepy and relaxed.
Blade, on the other hand, had trouble keeping himself in control. Her blood tasted differently compared to any other blood he had ever drunk. It was pure and somehow brought forth a compulsion in him to drink more and it took all he had not to drink her dry. So delicious.
Riddick's voice brought Blade out of his dream-like haze. "Blade." It was all he said, but it was enough to make him focus back on reality. Blade let go of her arm and pulled away, licking his lips as he did.
He stared in her eyes. "I don't know what you are, but your blood is the sweetest I've ever tasted," he told her, as Riddick pulled away from her, freeing her from his hold.
She swallowed, before she watched Blade expertly wrap the bandage around her arm again. "T-thanks." she breathed softly. The feeling of euphoria that had started flittering through her from the bite was slowly disappearing again.
The two men went back to their seats after she sat back down. An awkward silence filled the air quickly. She tried her best to ignore it and closed her eyes. Sleep washed over her quickly and again she knew no more.
Luna looked around her and was surprised she found herself in her room again. "I-I'm home?" she asked surprised and slowly walked outside and went to the living room. "Why?…How?" she muttered confused as she came to the living room.
"There you are, you little bitch!" came the loud voice of a man. Her head whipped to the man and she paled.
"F-father," she whispered and involuntarily took a step back out of fear.
He sneered at her. "Where the hell have you been, you little shit? I have been looking everywhere for you!" he growled before he walked up to her and backhanded her.
With a cry she fell to the ground, feeling her lip split. She didn't understand. How was she here? How did she get back? But those questions were pushed aside when a foot kicked her in the ribs. She yelped in pain and instantly covered her chest with her arms.
Suddenly she heard another pair of footsteps come over. This person's steps were more quiet then the other. Shakily she looked to the second person and saw her mother. Her face was red and her eyes bloodshot. She was drunk.
"M-mom." she whispered and slowly climbed to her feet. Her mother smiled evilly at her. "Hello honey, seems you finally came back." she said with sarcasm. "Say, have you met our new pet? It's quite adorable." she said and stepped aside.
Behind her mother stood a bioraptor. Its tail swished from side to side as it hissed at her.
Her eyes widened at the sight of it. "N-no way!" she stammered and stepped back. The bioraptor seemed to take that as its cue as it suddenly jumped at her, jaws wide open. Her eyes widened. "No!"
****
"No!" she cried, as she jolted awake. Her eyes darted around the room in search for a bioraptor. Her body shook from the dream and she shakily clawed a hand through her hair only to feel it getting stuck by her tie. She then remembered that her hair was in a ponytail and took a deep breath to calm her nerves. Shakily, she pulled her tie out of her hair and redid her hair again. Her tie slipped a few times through her fingers before she managed to successfully tie it. She breathed deeply again and looked around the room. Jack sat on a seat across of her and Imam a few seats to her right.
Her gaze drifted to the two men that sat in the pilot chairs and blinked in surprise. 'They're asleep?' she thought and stared some more. This was the first time she'd ever seen them both asleep.
Although she couldn't see Riddick's face, from the deep and silent breathing, he was probably sleeping. She glanced over at Blade and saw him with his face turned to her and smiled. Even with the aviators, he still looked peaceful.
They looked so much different from when they were awake. More calm and peaceful. Not something you could associate with those two, sometimes they were more animal than human. But in a way, they weren't humans.
Her thoughts drifted. What was she going to do when they landed? She knew nothing of this world. Her knowledge was primitive compared to everyone else. How was she going to get food or a place to stay if she didn't even know what they used for money.
And what about the future? So much had already changed with her and Blade added, even though she couldn't stop the others from dying on the planet like she had hoped she could. Maybe it was just their time.
'But wouldn't that mean Jack…?' Luna looked over at the child 'No! I won't let that happen! If there is one thing in this God forsaken world I will do, it is that I'm going to save her.' she thought determined.
The future had been changed with her and Blade added to the mix. And she couldn't remember everything. Her mind was chaotic. So much had happened in such a short amount of time that she couldn't wrap her head around it anymore.
Her feelings for those two weren't helping either. They made her heart feel like it was trying to jump out of her chest. But at the same time they send a bit of fear through her veins.
Although she was attracted to them, she was still feeling hesitant to get closer to them. The attraction she felt was from before she met them, when they were only on television. Seeing them in real life was a whole different matter.
She liked their characters and how they knocked everyone out in the movies. But in real life… in real life they were more evil and perverted than that. And they had made it already clear that they would not hesitate to do things they would never do in the movies.
She didn't know if this was a good thing or not. Just like she didn't know if she was really attracted to them or just their characters from the movies.
Although she felt a strange fluttering feeling in her stomach whenever she talked to or touched them. She didn't know for sure if it was merely part of the crush on their movie characters or real attraction for them.
She sighed deeply, not knowing what to do or feel and glanced over at Blade again, only to gasp when she saw his yellow eyes staring at her from over his aviators. She swallowed and quickly looked away as she felt her cheeks heat up.
"Seemed you had quite a nightmare back there," he mused, making her gape at him. "How did you-?" she cut herself off as her mouth fell open. She swore she saw his lips curl upwards for a moment but couldn't be too sure from where she sat.
"You were awake?" she asked surprised. Blade shifted in a normal sitting position just like Riddick also shifted in his chair so that he was facing her way.
"Both of you?" she asked softly surprised.
Riddick smirked. "'S not that hard to wake up when ya were so loud in yer dreams, kitten," he pointed out making her shut her mouth. "Then why did you pretend?" she asked confused and got a shrug in return. "'S not much to do around here," he said curtly making her frown.
An awkward silence filled the ship and Luna shifted uncomfortably in her chair.
She saw them both turn back to the front and looked down at her hands.
A sudden thought rose to her mind then. She looked up at Blade and frowned, not knowing how to voice it. "Hey Blade?…" she started awkwardly.
He grunted. Shifting slightly in her chair she glanced over at Riddick for a momen,t before she brought her gaze back to Blade again. "Where did you
come from? I mean, before you got caught by Derek. How did you and Riddick meet?" she asked curiously. She had been wondering this for a while now.
Blade turned in his seat and glanced at her again. "Why do you wanna know?" he asked calmly.
She shifted in her seat again. "I was just… curious, I guess." she muttered the last part softly but Blade heard her loud and clear. "I'll answer your questions if you answer mine." he told her which made her tense before she slowly nodded.
Nodding to her agreement, he answered. "I come from a planet called Garus, it was much like Earth in a way," he grunted and shifted a bit in his chair to sit better. "Except that it was infested with vampires that lived among the humans there." He hissed the word 'infested' and continued.
"I had just defeated Drake, the so-called king of the vampires. He was the first vampire. Anyway, some people who also hunted vampires had created a virus that would kill off all vampires," he told her and Luna knew what he was talking about.
'So his fight with Drake did happen only on a different planet.' she concluded before listening on.
"We lured Drake into a trap and injected him with the virus. It didn't take long before the entire vampire population died off," he smirked for a moment before it disappeared again. "Unfortunately some vampire wannabes were not so happy with this. They lured me into a trap and made me a wanted felon," he growled and bared his teeth at the memory.
"I was send to a slam where I met Riddick. We managed to get along with one another. Afterwards we stuck together and have stayed together ever since," he finished with a shrug.
Luna stared at him with open mouth. His story was amazing. 'It sounds so much like the Blade movies, yet at the same time it's different,' she thought to herself. "How long do you guys know each other?" she asked curiously, after a moment of silence.
Blade turned his head and stared at her for a second. "'Bout two years," he answered curtly. She shifted in her place and turned her eyes to Imam and then Jack for an instant. They were still asleep.
She turned her attention back to Blade and swallowed. The next question was going to be a dangerous one. It could reveal more then she wanted if she asked it wrongly.
"And the… blood? How long have you been… drinking… blood?" she asked almost hesitantly.
He shrugged. "I started drinking blood when I hit puberty. A friend of mine managed to create a special serum for me that suppressed my thirst," a frown appeared on his face. "'Bout four years ago I became immune to the serum and had to resort to drinking blood again," he told her, making her blink in surprise. She frowned afterwards. 'Another thing that is different from the movies.' she thought and hummed.
"Now you answer my questions, kitten," said Blade, so suddenly that she jumped in surprise.
Her face paled quickly though when the words registered in her mind. 'Oh no.' she thought with panic but knew she couldn't escape him.
