"You can do this."

Uraraka had taken down people three or four times her size who possessed arguably stronger quirks than her own.

She walked through burning buildings as if she were taking a leisurely stroll through the park.

After her first year at U.A., she'd stopped counting the number of times she'd been centimeters away from death. Sometime during her second year and her twentieth visit to the counselor's office, Uraraka accepted near-death experiences as part of the job.

"I can't do this," she mumbled, shoving the bright pink box back on the shelves. Uraraka slowly backed away from the shelves nervously eyeing the products in front of her. Even though she'd been down this aisle many times for tampons, pads, bandages, and a host of other products, she suddenly couldn't stomach the small section of pregnancy tests, condoms, and lubricants located at the end corner. "No, no, no…" she whispered to herself as she sprinted toward the exit.

"Ochako-chan!"

Fuck. "Hm?" she squeaked, skidding to a stop as her body froze. Nervously tugging at her fingers, she turned to face the elderly store owner. "Oh, Doi-san-"

"Ah, ah, none of that," the old man grinned brightly. "What have I told you kids about that foolishness?"

"I'm sorry," she apologized with a sheepish grin. Now more than ever, she was thankful she hadn't taken the box off the shelf. "Jii-chan-"

"That a girl!" he told her happily. "What can I do for you today?"

"Um-"

"I could have sworn I just saw you and your blonde friend here a few days ago for groceries."

He had. She and Bakugo had already finished their weekly shopping, but she wasn't about to tell her surrogate grandfather that she was here to purchase a pregnancy test. "I need some more candy." Not a complete lie. For a second she wondered if she could get away with stuffing a cart with miscellaneous things to distract from the bright pink box she really needed.

"Oh well, do you need a basket, dear?" he offered, moving from behind the counter.

"No, I-" She couldn't do this. "I forgot my money." Uraraka decided to pretend that her purse wasn't slung over her shoulder.

"Well that's okay, you can always pay me later-"

"Oh, no! I'm just gonna run back to the dorms and get it. It's no big deal." She turned, running out the store before she could give him a chance to argue.

No way.

"Nope," she announced to Todoroki and Midoriya waiting outside for her. Her fingers combed through her nervously as she looked at them with wide eyes.

"You didn't get it?" Midoriya asked her anxiously.

Uraraka sighed, shaking her head as she brought her thumb to her lip. "I didn't get it." She nibbled on her nail nervously. "I had the box in my hand, and then I panicked."

"Why'd you panic?!"

" Because, " she started through clenched teeth, dropping her voice as people passed them, "I've never had to buy a pregnancy test before today."

"And?"

" And?!" she growled. "Okay it's awkward enough buying tampons-" Uraraka could still remember how embarrassed she'd been the first time she'd purchased tampons. She remembered awkwardly burying the light blue box under a small mountain of chocolate. Her stomach dropped when the clerk, a second-year high school student at the neighboring high school, had plucked the package from the pile of candy and bagged it without so much as flinching. Uraraka on the other hand nearly plucked all the threads from her middle school uniform sweater as she nervously waited for him to finish. "-but I'm not about to buy a pregnancy test in front of someone who treats me like a daughter."

What would her own father say?

"Oh gods, my papa is gonna kill me," she gasped as fear flooded her body.

"No," Todoroki disagreed. "He's gonna kill Bakugo and bury him under the tomato plants."

"You don't use a body as a fertilizer for tomatoes," she told him, brows furrowed in disbelief. "You'll ruin them."

"Really?"

"What?"

"That's what you're going to focus on?"

"Well," she muttered, running her hands over her face, "that's something I can manage."

"Figuring out where your father is going to bury your boyfriend's body?" Midoriya questioned with a frown.

Uraraka folded her arms, giving him a little shrug. "Yes." She didn't have the nerve to buy a pregnancy test, so it didn't hurt to think about the possible future. "Papa would bury him in that back under the wildflowers."

"Okay, why don't you buy the test first, and then we can work on planning Bakugo's funeral?" Todoroki suggested.

"I don't think I can," Uraraka shook her head, looking at her friends. "Can one of you do it for me?"

"No," Todoroki's answer was concise, final, and unmoving.

"What?" Midoriya yelped, flinching back, his face ablaze nervously.

"Please, Izu!" she whined, clasping her hands together as she begged.

"Me?!"

"Not me," Todoroki chirped.

"Yes, you!"

"I'm not pregnant!" he countered a little too loud, jumping back.

Uraraka sighed loudly, ignoring the awkward looks his outburst had earned them. She waited a few seconds for the bystanders to pass and the attention to fade. "I know that."

"I mean, we could have Izuku take a test," Todoroki suggested flatly. "He could serve as the control."

"What do we need a control for? This isn't an experiment!" Uraraka hissed. "I pee on the stick, and I'm-" Either pregnant or not pregnant. "-it's either yes or no." She still couldn't bring herself to say it.

"Yes, but remember, you have to get the stick first."

"Izu," Uraraka whimpered, looking over at Midoriya with a glassy-eyed pout.

"What?

"Please?"

"Why me?!"

"Because," she pleaded, bouncing on her heels, "I can't do it, and your boyfriend refuses to help me so-"

"I'm here for moral support," Todoroki told her.

"So," Uraraka exhaled, patting her hands against Midoriya's shoulders, "I'm counting on you. Deku, what would the number one hero do?"

"Get a paternity test?"

"We clearly know who the father is," Uraraka hissed before taking a big breath in and out. "You're not funny."

"You asked."

She had set herself up for the comment. "Okay, there is a real possibility that I'm pregnant," she whispered the last word breathlessly, "and I am freaking out." Her grip tightened in her friend's hoodie. "I feel like I'm going to puke, faint, scream, or I don't know what I just-" This couldn't be happening. "I really, really need you to do this for me."

Midoriya huffed, feeling his resolve crumble, "What is Dori-san going to think about me buying a pregnancy test?"

"Nothing."

"He's going to think I got some girl pregnant."

"No," she snorted. "No one thinks that. Everyone, Dori-san, your mom, our teachers, yes even All Might-"

"Huh?!"

"They all know you've been drooling over Todoroki since our first year," Uraraka informed him.

Todoroki smirked, giving a satisfied nod.

"If anything, they'll think you're helping out a friend," Uraraka explained. "Your best friend who will owe you the biggest favor ever, if you do this for me." She stared at him, chewing her lip pathetically. "Please?"

Midoriya inhaled as he looked at Todoroki for help.

Todoroki shrugged, holding his hands up in surrender. "Don't look at me. That's between you two."

"Please, please, please…" she whispered, bouncing on her heels. "Please?"

"Fine," Midoriya caved, shoulders dropping in defeat. He took a step back as he moved toward the store. "Even though I think you should call Kacchan and tell him."

"Tell him what?"

He stopped in front of the entrance, looking at Uraraka with wide eyes as a couple with a small child walked by them. Midoriya kept his eyes focused on Uraraka as his arm drew a half-circle over his stomach to mimic a pregnancy belly.

Uraraka waved her arm in dismissal as she shook her head. "That's not for sure!" she called to him as he walked inside the store.

"You know, he's right," Todoroki nodded. "You should tell your boyfriend."

Somewhere in the back of her head, she knew that was the right thing to do. "You both are correct."

"I know."

"But there's no point in worrying him when I don't know anything yet," she said, walking in a little circle as she pulled out her phone.

"Okay, but wouldn't Bakugo want to know that you're worried?"

Uraraka sighed, looking down at her phone.

BAKUGO KATSUKI, 4:18 PM
You know I don't mind getting your damn candy.

"Since when are you a relationship expert?"

URARAKA OCHAKO, 4:19 PM
I know 3

"I'm not. Speaking on behalf of myself," Todoroki shrugged casually, "I like knowing that Izuku doesn't worry alone."

She smiled, "You'd want Izuku to tell you if he was worried that he was pregnant?"

URARAKA OCHAKO, 4:20 PM
But I don't mind! You focus on work and I'll see you tonight! I love you!

BAKUGO KATSUKI, 4:20 PM
Love you too

"Definitely," Todoroki responded, returning her smile as Midoriya approached them.

"Well?" Uraraka questioned.

"I-" Midoriya scratched the back of his head nervously as he avoided her gaze. "I didn't know which one you wanted."

"Seriously!?"

"There were like five different ones!"

"You should get the one with the earliest detection rate," Todoroki told them easily. "It's in a white box. I can't remember the brand name but it says 'early result' in big yellow letters on the front."

Uraraka blinked, "How do you know this?"

"I have a sister."

Midoriya's eyes widened curiously at the information as Uraraka made a little noise of confusion.

"Her acne medication required her to take a pregnancy test every month to get her prescription filled," Todoroki elaborated.

"You could have offered this information like fifteen minutes ago," Uraraka shook her head.

"What's the fun in that?" Todoroki wondered, grabbing Midoriya's hand as he led him in the store. "Let's go."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

"Well?"

"Three to five minutes," Uraraka announced, walking out of the bathroom as she nervously wiped her palms on the front of her jeans, "until a stick covered in pee determines my foreseeable future, so-" She looked back into the bathroom, eyeing the test sitting on the counter. "Say something, anything."

"Um…" Midoriya hummed, drumming his fingers against his knee as he stared at her in wide-eyed horror.

"Natsuo took Fuyumi's birth control pills once because he thought they were candy," Todoroki announced as he placed the book back on Uraraka's night table, "or that's what he told our father when my grandmother had to take him to the doctor because his nipples were tingling."

Uraraka frowned, "Wow." She wasn't sure what to say to that. For a moment, she'd forgotten she was waiting on life altering news while her mind tried to work through what her friend told her. "Just," she sighed, "wow."

"And this never came up those times we had dinner with your family?" Midoriya questioned, shaking his head in disbelief.

"That's not dinner conversation. We save the embarrassing stories for holidays," Todoroki smiled.

"Good to know."

"You look like you're about to jump out of your skin." The observation was directed toward Uraraka.

"Yes, but on the other hand, I have so many questions about that story," she told him, moving away from the bathroom door and into the room. "First off, what the hell?"

"You told me to say something."

"Yes, but-" That was definitely an odd thing to pop into her head. "-why that specifically?"

"Seemed like a perfect fit for today's discussions."

Fair.

Midoriya nodded with a sigh, "Tampons, pregnancy tests-"

She looked at the clock on the small table. The results would probably be ready, but Uraraka found herself not ready to face them.

"Birth control pills," Todoroki added. "I was trying to bring everything full circle."

"I guess."

"You were taking birth control pills, right?"

Uraraka blinked, looking at Midoriya before turning her attention back to Todoroki. "Yeah, why?"

"You know they are 99% effective, right?"

"I'm failing to see your point." The test was definitely ready, but she wasn't moving just yet.

"It's 99% likely you aren't pregnant, so you should calm down."

"99.7%," Midoriya corrected, swiveling in her desk chair.

"Even better."

"With perfect use," Midoriya added, looking over at Uraraka. "Remember, that was a question on our sex ed exam. Birth control pills are 99.7% effective with perfect use."

"Not sure that matters right now," Todoroki told him tightly.

"Yeah," Uraraka scoffed, walking back toward the bathroom before pacing back.

"It doesn't, because if you've been taking your pills regularly then you don't have anything to worry about," Midoriya reasoned as the chair spun slowly.

"Or I'm the less 1%, and my papa is going to kill my boyfriend."

"Or he'll put a shotgun to his head and force you two to get married," Todoroki suggested with a little shrug.

Midoriya scoffed, "That's insane."

She never recalled her father having a gun, but she knew that her father had taken many hunting trips. "Thank you," Uraraka nodded, trying not to picture the sight. Not to mention forcing down the flutter in her stomach at the thought of marriage.

"You've met her father," Midoriya started seriously, "he doesn't need a shotgun to intimidate Kacchan."

True. "Can we not talk about this?"

"Can you check the test so we don't have to?" Todoroki countered, pointing to the clock with a glare.

No. "I'm not ready," Uraraka admitted, breathing out a shaky breath.

"More likely than not, you're not pregnant."

"I think I missed a pill," she confessed with a loud sigh as she walked back and forth. "Last month, maybe?" She was starting to regret not labeling the pills as the pack had instructed. "I didn't take them at the same time everyday either."

"Okay so the pill is still effective."

"91%," Midoriya answered as the chair slowed its spin. He planted his foot on the ground and started the chair again as he waved his phone at them.

"Izuku."

"91% is typical use which means 9 out of 100 women become pregnant on the pill," Midoriya read on his phone. "Those aren't bad odds."

"Those aren't good odds either," Uraraka gasped, feeling dizzy.

"Statistically speaking, there are bigger things we should worry about," Todoroki told them.

"Like being attacked a record number of times during our first year of high school?" The odds of those events seemed so small, but her class always seemed to be in the midst of catastrophe after catastrophe.

Midoriya made a small noise of agreement.

"That's not even a statistic," Todoroki argued, sitting up and placing his feet on the ground. "There isn't enough data to make such a figure."

"I beg to differ," Midoriya snorted with a look of disbelief. "Pretty sure our class has all the data we need."

"You know what?" Uraraka stomped into the bathroom. "Fine! I will look at the test!" She snatched the test off of the counter. Inhaling, she closed her eyes, saying a silent prayer to whoever might be listening before her eyes looked at the screen.

NOT PREGNANT

Uraraka exhaled, holding the stick in front of her. "Not pregnant," she announced flatly. Clenching her jaw, she fought the painful sting of an emotion she couldn't quite identify.

Disappointment?

No.

"See?" Todoroki droned, stretching his arms up lazily before resting his hands against the back of his head. "I told you there was nothing to worry about."

She wasn't disappointed. Getting pregnant months before graduating would be nothing short of disastrous. Uraraka knew she should be nothing short of relieved, but she wasn't. Relief was there… "You were right." It was just some other harder emotion tugging at her senses.

"Weren't you the one telling her she needed a pregnancy test?" Midoriya questioned as he reached for a stuffed bear at the corner of Uraraka's desk. "And making up statistics?"

"She's the one that made up statistics."

"I was trying to give an example," she mumbled, trudging over to the bed and plopping down. Her eyes fixed on the test.

"And anyway, I figured the most responsible thing to do would be to suggest she get an answer."

Uraraka had an answer.

She wasn't pregnant.

She lifted her eyes from the screen as Midoriya and Todoroki chatted, their words not quite reaching her ears. Her eyes traced over the words on the little screen as if they would change any second.

She didn't want them to change.

Even though she couldn't deny the little fantasy that played in the back of her head. Her and Bakugo married with kids and, perhaps, a small collection of pets. She imagined a modest house with a yard and lots of plants like the home she'd grown up in.

When they were older.

"Should we move the study group here?" Midoriya questioned, looking at his phone. "Iida said he wants to join us for a bit."

"Or we could get to the cafeteria before the rush and quiz each other after dinner?" Todoroki suggested, looking at the clock.

"Sounds good to me."

"Uraraka?"

She flinched, quickly standing up as she cleared her throat, "Um yeah, let me just throw this away." Uraraka walked back into the bathroom. Her eyes went to the trash can sitting in the corner before she stared at the pregnancy test. Sighing, she placed the stick on the counter before closing the door behind her. "Let's go."

The rest of the day was a blur.

Dinner was nothing special, and Uraraka couldn't remember anything from their afternoon study session. She'd fared okay during the quiz session, but she was sure she hadn't retained any new information that would help her with exams. There was still plenty of time to study. One poor study session wouldn't hurt her grade.

At least she didn't have to worry about not finishing the year.

BAKUGO KATSUKI, 8:56 PM
Door unlocked?

URARAKA OCHAKO 8:56 PM
Yep. 3

Uraraka took a deep breath, fingers nervously fiddling with her phone as she watched the door.

There was no reason to be nervous.

"Hey."

"Hey you," she responded softly as Bakugo shut the door behind him. "I hope Aizawa didn't see you." Her brows raised at the sight of the backpack and the carryout bag in his hand

"Tch, Aizawa doesn't give a shit," Bakugo answered, dropping his bag on the floor before walking over to her for a kiss.

"Until he writes us up."

"Dumb ass set the smoke detector off again making fucking caramel popcorn." One of his hands rested against her cheek as he kissed her again.

"Which dumb ass?"

"The electric one."

"Yeah, he's not gonna do a check tonight." Any incidents, including a smoke detector going off, in the dorm required an unreasonable amount of paperwork. "What'd you get for dinner?" She looked at the brown carryout bag in his hand.

"Just a box from the place around the corner," he told her, taking a seat at the desk chair. "I got you some mochi since you finished all your candy." Bakugo pulled out his dinner, looking over at her with a smirk.

"Yeah," she sighed, heart sinking as she was reminded of the day's events. "I got some more though." She'd also brought a pregnancy test. "How was your day okay?" Uraraka swallowed her nerves, deciding to change the subject.

"Fine," he answered, handing her the mochi he'd purchased for her, "Didn't get any calls on patrol, so it was boring as fuck. Just walked around for hours."

"Thanks," she mumbled. Her fingers played with the wrapper as she pulled her legs onto the bed. "That's a good thing though." Uraraka looked at him.

"Fucking boring," he snorted, pulling out his meal.

The familiar smell of curry filled her room. For a moment, she allowed herself to enjoy the warmth of the moment. "Yeah, but you still get the hours." It was domestic, or as close to domestic as two teenagers living in the dorms could get. She loved that they'd talk about their day over food before settling into bed to snuggle or do finish up assignments.

"I didn't do anything," he argued as he ate.

"Not true," she chuckled half-heartedly. "You were patrolling." The light conversation only made her stomach sink with stress even though everything was fine.

She wasn't pregnant.

"Patrolling is an active process."

"At least I don't have to fill out any paperwork."

Everything was okay. "Poor Aizawa." Even if it didn't feel like it was.

"You okay?" Bakugo asked, brows knitting as he looked at her.

"Um-" She stopped herself from spitting out the easy answer of yes. "Yes, but no," Uraraka admitted with a sigh. She sat the pack of mochi next to her.

But you can't fucking be afraid to talk to me.

"Can we talk for a second?" This was the last thing she wanted to do.

Bakugo's brows raised as he lowered his spoon. "Okay," he agreed cautiously. "Is something wrong?"

She froze.

"What happened?"

"No," she shook her head, getting off the bed, "nothing bad happened." It was good news. "I don't think." Good news wasn't supposed to leave someone feeling conflicted and stressed.

His eyes followed her as she walked into the bathroom before appearing in front of him. "You're fucking worrying me angel face." Bakugo watched as she chewed on the bottom of her lip. Her fingers toyed with something behind her back as she stared at him with wide eyes.

"Don't freak out."

Bakugo leaned back in his chair, bracing himself for whatever she was going to say.

"I took a pregnancy test today." She saw him take a sharp inhale.

He stared at her for a few long painfully quiet seconds. "What?" The question fell from his lips as a breathless gasp.

"I took a pregnancy test today," Uraraka repeated quickly. "While I was studying with Deku and Todoroki, I realized my period was late, and I panicked because my period is really, really late…" The words were flying faster than she could think. "So I went to the store today and got a test because Todoroki said I needed one and I took it-"

"And?"

The word barely squeaked from his lips as he stared at her. "It's negative." She pulled the test from behind her back, showing him the screen.

Bakugo exhaled, back sinking into the chair as tension bled from his body. "Fuck."

"Yeah."

"You couldn't have led with that?"

Oh. "Sorry," she muttered. Sitting the test on her desk, she took a seat in his lap, letting her legs straddle his waist. "I just didn't want to keep this from you." Her arms looped around his neck.

"Okay." His hands found their way around her waist. "So, what's wrong?"

A crooked smile overtook her face. "It's stupid," Uraraka sighed, turning away from him.

"Oi," he murmured, grabbing her chin and turning her face back so their eyes met, "What's wrong?"

Uraraka took a deep breath. "I'm relieved I'm not pregnant," she declared.

"Me too," he added quickly.

She could still feel his pulse racing from her informing him that she'd take a pregnancy test. "But-"

"But?"

Her eyes drifted past his gaze. "What if it had been positive?" she asked him softly. "What if I had been-" Her lips twisted as her cheeks heated. "Pregnant?"

The hand on her back crept up the back of her shirt, allowing his palm to cradle her lower back. "What would you want to do?" he asked.

"I asked you first," she responded quickly.

"I-" He stopped

She could see him thinking very carefully about his answer. "I want you to be honest."

Bakugo nodded, taking a deep breath as he stared at her, "I would want to do whatever you wanted to do."

She hated that answer. "That's a cop out."

"What do you want me to say?"

Her hands fell against his shoulders as her chin dropped to shoot him a glare. "The truth."

"That was the damn truth!" he sighed. "Yes, a brat would affect us both, but it would affect you more."

She knew what a positive pregnancy test meant.

Dropping out of school.

Potentially not obtaining her full hero license.

Delaying her career.

Possibly ending her career.

And it would definitely change her relationship with Bakugo. "Yeah," she admitted. Bakugo would, likely, be free to graduate. Even if U.A. forced him to withdraw, he could finish up the remaining credits and start working as a hero next year. "You're affected too."

"I know that."

"You'd be okay if I were pregnant and decided to have the baby?" She wanted to melt down into the floor

"Yeah."

She frowned.

"You don't want me to be okay with that?"

"I do," she told him quietly. "I wasn't expecting you to say-"

" Why ?"

That's what she wanted to ask him. "Because-" He was never anything other than wonderful in her many fantasies of Bakugo and their hypothetical children in the future. She imagined him laughing at their fiery brown haired daughter or reading to a son that looked just like him. "That whole situation would be a big deal."

"I know that," Bakugo told her gently.

"For both of us."

"I know. We established this."

"Your career would take a hit."

"I know."

"You might have to withdraw from school."

"I know."

She expected his response to be something more than a casual agreement. "You wouldn't be able to work abroad after we graduate."

"Who the hell said I was going anywhere after graduation?!"

That was unexpected. "No one," she answered slowly.

"Did that fucking nerd with the stick up his ass open his mouth again?"

"Iida?" Uraraka questioned, sitting back in disbelief. "Wait!? You got a job overseas after graduation and didn't tell me!? Again, Katsuki?!"

"What?!" he gawked, loudly. "No, what the fuck?"

"You said again?!"

"I didn't I mean I was leaving again!"

"Oh," Uraraka chuckled, settling back down, "I'm just saying, if I were pregnant and decided to have a baby, we'd both be affected."

He nodded, "Yeah."

"And," she paused, giving him a shrug. "Well, we never talk about the future. I mean besides the obvious that we're gonna graduate and work as heroes."

She wasn't sure why they were having this conversation.

The most important thing was that she wasn't pregnant, and if she took her birth control like she was supposed to, then they wouldn't have to worry about it. "I just wanted to know how you felt about it because we have sex, and even though the chances were low, it's something we should talk about."

Bakugo nodded, taking her words in. "That's fair." His eyes glanced toward the wall for a second. Uncertainty danced in his eyes for a moment before fading back into a neutral glare.

She carefully splayed her fingers along his face before moving his head so their lips were millimeters away. "But," she drawled sweetly, "I'm not pregnant, and we don't have to worry about it."

"Hey," he breathed, tipping his head to look into her eyes. "Don't fucking forget, you can't get rid of me."

Uraraka laughed, rubbing their noses together as uncertainty lifted from her body. "I know."

"I love you, and you're fucking stuck with me," he whispered.

"I love you too," she kissed him once more, moving her hands around his neck to scoot herself closer to him, "and you're also fucking stuck with me."

The words made him feel invincible, but Bakugo couldn't shake the sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. "Good."

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

"Listen up," Aizawa droned, stepping in front of the lecture stand. His posture dropped as he slipped his hands into his pockets. "I know you all are anxious to leave, but there's one more thing that needs to be discussed before you're dismissed until the new year."

The students of class 3-A settled down and focused their attention on their teacher.

"When you return, you'll be picking your classes for the last term at U.A., as well as completing paperwork for your licenses, applying to agencies or colleges, but-"

Aizawa's gaze hardened, eyes flashing red as the restless looks on his students' faces.

"I know you just finished exams and most of you are taking the break to relax and spend time with your families, but I highly suggest each of you take time to think about your futures. You're going to be asked to make some hard choices in the next coming months that have the potential to shape your lives and careers."

It was crazy to tell teenagers this, but they made the decision to take on the world.

"Some of you will be asked to move out of the country," he told them seriously. "Some of you will choose an easier career path or might not be able to find agency placement. A few of you," Aizawa started as his eyes moved from each student, "will switch to a different career path within the next year."

The obvious mortality statistic was left unsaid. They'd heard it enough to know what could be awaiting them in the professional world.

"My point is," Aizawa grunted, "you all have some big decisions happening within the next few months. I highly suggest you start thinking about your future. You're dismissed." He waved a hand behind him, grabbing his sleeping bag as he trudged out the room.

"Well that was uplifting," Kaminari spoke, breaking the silence as he stood up from his seat with a stretch.

"It was a practical statement," Iida responded. "Aizawa-san is correct. Over the next few months, we have a lot to consider!" His hands gestured wildly as his hands emphasized his point.

"Yeah, I'm going to focus on the present."

"Like the remedial classes you have next week?" Sero snickered, packing up his things from his desk.

"Dude," Kaminari glowered, "don't even act like you won't be there."

"For one class," Sero pointed out. " One. I am only in remedial sessions for the morning!"

"Whatever, I know who my real friends are," Kaminari turned toward Ashido and Kirishima. "We doing potluck again?"

"Wait, wait," Jirou interrupted. "You all did potluck for remedial classes?"

"Yeah, we took turns bringing food, snacks, and drinks to break up the monotony," Ashido answered as she packed her backpack. "I'll bring the waters on Monday. Babe, what are you bringing?"

"Nothing," Kirishima grinned with a wide smile. "I'm not in remedial classes this time." He stood up, flexing one of his arms.

"How!?"

"I studied."

"Wait, so who are the other people taking classes with us?" Kaminari looked around the room.

"It could be people from class B," Ashido huffed. "Please not Monoma. Anyone but that penguin suit asshole."

"Well," Kirishima sighed, walking over to Bakugo's desk, "all I know is I won't be joining you all this time!" He patted a hand on his friend's shoulder. "Hear that man, we can finally hang out during break since your boy won't be in remedial classes."

"A fucking miracle indeed," Bakugo grunted, flipping through a notebook before shoving it in his bag.

"Yes, so, what are you doing over break, cause we've never gone Christmas shopping together and it is a Bakusquad tradition to go shopping together the day before Christmas Eve," Kirishima grinned, happily clapping his hands.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"Dude, we go shopping every year but you always tell me to piss off-"

"So piss off."

"Nope, I can't do that," Kirishima shook his head. "It's our last year, and I don't have remedial classes taking up my day, so you're going with us. I know you're in a relationship, so Christmas Eve is date day. I respect that, but we're going shopping."

"I'm spending Christmas with Uraraka's family," Bakugo explained as he continued to go through his stuff. "And then we're gonna be here for New Year's."

"Ah, Christmas with the in-laws-"

Bakugo narrowed his eyes.

"When are you leaving?"

"Before your damn shopping trip." Thank goodness.
