Cool Kid Saves the Cats
Chapter 32: Author's Note
An extremely handsome man is sitting on an eloquently designed red leather chair. He's wearing a bathrobe and has an oversized pipe in his mouth. He's reading a book titled: The Life and Adventures of Sigmund Bellefaire: An Obama Tales Tale. He looks up from the book and pulls out his pipe.
"Oh hello! I didn't see you there." He closes the book and puts the pipe on his book. He folds his hands over the book and smiles. "My name is Ant-Drew, the author of the story you are currently reading, Cool Kid Saves the Cats. Throughout the years of writing this epic tale, there have been times when I've had to...step away for a time. This would unfortunately result in a hiatus, normally lasting around a year or so. The past two times I have done this, I justified this hiatus by having roughly the same amount of time pass in universe. This meant that Cool Kid would miraculously be unconscious for that amount of time. It didn't make too much sense, but it sure made for a turn! And for the better if I say so myself."
And-Drew laughs. "Anyway, I have recently taken another one of these hiatuses, and at a most inopportune time. In the last chapter of Cool Kid, Butch the Bully and Cool Kid were just starting off their epic battle. It would not be fair to you, my audience, and myself if I made Cool Kid go unconscious again just to excuse my hiatus. So instead, I will be continuing from where the narrative had paused previously and I'm using this as my sort of apology. But I am happy to announce that this is the last hiatus I will take before the finale of Cool Kid Saves the Cats. I do hope you all enjoy the rest of the story. Oh, and one more thing. BigBlueBox? Thank you for being a fan for so long, I hope you return to enjoy what remains of Cool Kid's adventure. And now with that, on with the show!"
Ant-Drew puts the pipe back in his mouth and opens up his book again. The lights go dark as the camera slowly zooms out away from him. We now return to the world of Cool Kid.
