"Welcome, Junko Enoshima! It's good to have you back, how've you been?" Vially smiled at last year's winner.
The girl beamed, hugging the Monokuma to her chest, "I'm alright, thanks for gettin' me back!"
"No problem! Besides, you're what the people want! Everyone, give a round of applause for Junko!"
The noise was thunderous, thousands of hands slamming into each other at different intervals.
"I'll fill in the details for the people who weren't here last year. This girl, the Ultimate Despair, single handedly brought upon the near end of the world. Talk about impressive for a seventeen year old,"
This brought another round of applause from the crowd.
Vially then swept his eyes from the audience back to Junko, only just noticing the Monokuma, "Hey, are we even gonna give that thing an interview? I mean, it'll just be you answering through it, so I guess we can just skip to the next contestant," Vially gave the audience a look that said Am I right? "Anyways, what do you think was your favorite part of last year's Spectacle?"
"My favorite part? That's so totally easy! A-million percent when I got to see the look on everyone's faces after I killed someone. There was only despair in the people's loved ones, it was like, awesome!."
"Interesting, interesting. How about the seventy-eighth class's killing game?"
"Well, there's only been three deaths, but I'm excited to see where it's going!" Junko shrugged.
"O-kay! We have to let our next contestant on in a little bit, so tell us, Junko, what's your prize?" Vially asked.
"Hm. Last year, I wished to cause as much despair as I possibly can. The only smart thing to do now is to wish to be alive for all of it. See you guys on the other side!" Junko said that while directly staring at the cheering crowd, and she strutted off the stage without being dismissed.
"And because we're skipping Monokuma, please welcome to the stage, Izuku Midoriya from 43C!"
