Jolt wasn't only a field medic and Ratchet's trainee. He was also a very talented communication's tech. Right now he was monitoring the broadcasts from a series of colonies on some large nearby asteroids for signs of Decepticons. So far he hadn't encountered anything of note. He and Blaster momentarily turned in their seats as Jazz and Hyperfall entered the communication's room.

"I think we should do an infiltration mission," Hyperfall suggested to Jazz.

"Have you found anything?" asked Jazz of the two mechs in the room. Both Blaster and Jolt responded in the negative.

"I've got this feeling that we're missing something here," said Hyperfall.

"Why would you say that?" asked Blaster leaning back in his chair.

"This area has several colonies that are spread not too far from each other," said Hyperfall. "There is plenty of natural coverage for ships with the nearby asteroid field and the colonies have ample resources according to the data Pivot managed to find on them."

"Yea, but that doesn't mean the Cons are here," said Jazz. "We've gotten no sign of them."

"That's what's so unusual," said Hyperfall. "There should be some sign. I think they could be laying low here because they want to keep these colonies as suppliers."

"I don't know," said Jazz leaning on the back of Blaster's chair. "It could end up being a waste of our time."

"All I'm asking for is that you let a few recon teams go take a quick look," said Hyperfall. "My team will volunteer willingly."

"Are the defense forces in that much of a hurry to get off the ship?" asked Blaster. "You all like to fight, right?"

Hyperfall shook his head. "We were made for defense, but we don't randomly go looking for fights. I just have a hunch that's all."

It was a Recon mission there that found them another pillar unexpectedly. There were eight colonies and a single mission team was sent to all of them. Hyperfall and his team were sent to the third colony. The head of the colony had reported that everything was fine, but it was a close knit group and everyone knew everyone so it caused quite a stir when Hyperfall sent UV unexpectedly into the local town to poke around. UV fearlessly chatted up the locals like he was simply sightseeing, but there was an undercurrent of fear beneath their friendly facade. UV was recording his interactions the entire time and Pivot and Data reviewed the footage and determined the direction that most bots would unconsciously glance to or completely avoid looking at. Based on this evidence, they triangulated where the possible Decepticon presence could be or if not Decepticons, whatever the inhabitants were trying to hide.

"I've got it in my sights," said FireSky from the sky. "There's a raised bunker. I can only see the top of it though. My scans are being blocked so I can't give you anything more specific." Suddenly a missile shot up at him from below and FireSky pulled right to evade it. It followed him though so he put on a burst of speed. "I've got a seeker missile on my tail," reported FireSky. "I'm headed your way. I need someone to get it off me."

"I'll do it," volunteered Chaosbreaker searching his subspace leisurely for the right weapon.

"Fine," agreed Hyperfall. "The rest of you need to regroup around the bunker. We're taking it down."

It took a bit of maneuvering, but Hyperfall's team was able to successfully infiltrate the bunker. Inside, they encountered four Decepticons and they were offlined immediately. Also inside much to their surprise was one of the missing Allspark pillars. Hyperfall had to give credit to the Decepticons for this hideout. Because there had only been a few Decepticons hiding out here, it would likely have never caught the Autobot's attention and if he hadn't persistently requested that they check the colonies, the pillar would have remained unfound.

Optimus commended his team when they returned with their prize. The colony leaders simply said that they had no idea that the Decepticons were there. Of course, none of the Autobots believed them. UV's investigation had documented quite a few extravagances that the other colonies were clearly lacking. This colony had obviously come to an agreement with the Decepticons at some point. With the pillar safely on board, Optimus gave the order to head for Cybertron again.
