Here's the next chapter. I hope you enjoy it. Please read and review love Hermione xxx

Albus had been annoyed at the point loss initially but even more so when he realised what an entire house had tried to do. He then ordered that no house points be given to any Slytherins that week as a further punishment. The teachers were to write down what points would have been earned and by who and they would all be applied the next week instead if that was even justified by then. This was done to send a message to the house of Slytherin which soon realised they were being targeted and for good reason as well. The house thankfully did feel shame as a whole and vowed to never judge the book by the ridiculous looking cover ever again. They would begin to question everything they'd ever been told by everyone. Some of them even suggesting they do blood inheritance tests on some of the muggleborn students to see if they truly were muggleborn.

This had not at all been Lily's aim but she was happy indeed to support it if it helped to prove the ridiculous pureblood parents wrong. It might even be made mandatory by the board for all muggleborns so they could see who they were truly dealing with. It would make life much easier for sure. Lily was sure Albus would agree too as it seemed to suit everyone and solve many problems in one go. Maybe then purebloods might think a bit more realistically about what they chose to do with their squibs. Maybe it might prompt an investigation as to why squibs even existed although she doubted to results would please anyone because she was almost sure it was related to interbreeding. On the fifth day and well after his new but stiff arm had grown in Severus finally woke up. Lily was by his side smiling as she held his hands.

"It is done. It was not easy but it is done!" he croaked out his mouth very dry from lack of water. She summoned some water in a glass with a straw which he drank from hungrily. He eventually wet his throat enough that he could clear it and speak clearly. He looked to where his new arm was and moved it wincing as he had been so stiff.

"Please get me some joint relaxing cream and don't disturb Poppy. She needs her rest poor thing!" he said kindly. Without leaving his side she summoned some to her and he took it rubbing it into his arm which he then moved up and down rapidly and round and round a few times to get it used to the idea of movement. It was now minus his dark mark which she did indeed notice. She was so proud of him and of that fact that Voldemort was now gone for good. Well almost his spirit which was still out there was indeed very week but it did manage to inhabit a ministry employee and possess him. He would use this employee to search for all of his horcruxes. It would be a fruitless search though as he would find them all but they would be useless to him. Once the person he had possessed had died he too would die and there was only so much his weak spirit could force the man to do. However if he was lucky he could remain with him and make him kill a few people he didn't like too much.

Severus had been briefed on his houses behaviour and was disgusted. He decided to go above Dumbledore which as head of house was his right and decided that they were not to get any house points for a month and they would all serve detention with him at different points. He was so pissed off. He had been so happy to see Lily. When he could after a while without hurting himself he'd leaned in and kissed her an explosion happening which woke Poppy at once. She came out to see an unconscious Lily and Severus glowing. She could not determine what was happening accept that her examinations did show they'd be fine in the morning. Without his mark preventing it he had been able to have the soul bond with Lily he was always meant to. That mark had been so dangerous and dark that it had prevented anything so pure and beautiful from naturally taking place. She was in a white place she'd never seen before. Where was she?

"Hello Lillian!" she heard and gasped tears filling her eyes and she spun around and faced her mother.

"Mum! Am I dead? I know you passed away. Oh mummy why didn't you tell me you were a witch!" she said now sounding both devastated and angry all at the same time.

"Lily you must understand Voldemort was at large and he was killing everyone and anyone who didn't agree with him despite their status. He seemed to hesitate with Purebloods but would do it if they didn't agree with him. It wasn't safe for me. I cried for weeks when you started showing magic and then again when you got your letter. I didn't want to lose you so I never showed you anything. It was so tough for me to watch Petunia resent that she wasn't special like you. She would spend every waking moment in tears sometimes and it broke my heart completely. It just wasn't fair!" she responded crying heavily gut wrenching sobs as Lily hugged her mother closely.

"Mum it's alright don't cry. He's gone now mum. He can't hurt anyone. Petunia now has magic you know. She is carrying magical twins and they have given her a core size just under that of a muggleborn core in order to make sure her body could protect them and actually carry them to term. She wouldn't be able to do so otherwise!" she said as her mother looked at her aghast.

"Well I had not expected that for sure. I am so sorry for all you went through with James dear. I really thought you could help him become a better man but you couldn't. I saw him cheating from here in heaven and I couldn't do anything to stop him. I am so sorry I failed you sweetheart. You didn't die by the way. Severus Snape removed his own dark marked arm as it would have killed him if he hadn't. His mark was so dark that it prevented anything pure from happening which it should have when you were sixteen. You are now married and soul bound dear. It's wonderful. You will return to earth in a while I am just here to tell you all about it!" she said seriously as Lily cried.

"NO, no no! This can't be happening. I swore after James I'd never marry again. I didn't want to. Mum marriage was hell for me! I gave Severus a vow and now he will think I'm a liar and leave me! OH DEAR MERLIN FUCK! I vowed on my magic! I'll be a damn squib when I return!" she said crumpling in a heap on the floor as she cried great tears of disappointment.

"LILLIAN MARIE you will get up this instant and stop acting like an idiot! Yes you gave the vow but you will not loose your magic nor will he as this happened naturally despite the vows. It was meant to happen when you were sixteen but a potion James had used prevented it from occurring. Then later on when it had another opportunity to happen it couldn't because of the dark mark. Now when you return you will be able to communicate telepathically and you can aparate to each others sides in a heart beat whether there are anti apparition wards in place or not. You can also send each other images in your head of things you're thinking of such as your dinner or a potion or something in Severus' case. I…I have to go sweetheart!" she said as she started to fade away.

"Mummy don't go, please, not yet. I never told you I loved you so much. I'll always love you mummy!" she said as fresh tears fell from her eyes.

"Darling Lily I will always love you too. Now you stay strong for me ok? You tell Petunia that I am happy she finally found the man she was destined to find. At last my two girls have gotten rid of the dead weight!" she said happily fading away as Lily woke up and burst into tears making Madam Pomfrey scream from the shock. Severus was still not awake yet.

"I promise I'll make it right. I swear it!" Lily said looking at the ceiling and drying her eyes. She hadn't even seen Poppy yet.

Severus himself was in a white place of his own. He had died or so he thought. We at least Lily knew he loved her with all he had. It was worth it to be rid of Voldemort. He had hoped she wouldn't cry too much over him regretfully.

"SEVERUS TOBIAS SNAPE YOU FOOL!" he jumped as Eileen's voice thundered from behind him…
