Chapter 25- hostage

Bee and I landed at the drop site and wait for the other scout teams to finish falling from the sky above us.

"Which part of the mine are we scouting?" I asked Bee he usually had the answers regarding our missions "The east side, its supposed to have the layout for the mine and the computer room" he said. Once the other teams were with us, we fanned out each of us going with our partner.

"So our job is to take as many photos and gather as much detail as we can with in the hour and a half we've been given and Twinwave, do not engage the enemy" I just sighed even though I really wanted to deal some damage to these fraggers but we had to stick to our mission guidelines.

"I can see the mass fortress that's surrounding the mine" I said as a huge section of the building came into view, we must've hit one of the corners becuase there was just walls as far as the eye could see. "I'll clear the first section and you follow my lead", I took my swords out of their case and lead Bee and myself towards the fortress making sure to watch out for guards or Vehicons as we went along.

As we got closer I shivered, not because it was cold but because this place gave me a weird feeling, "A head of us is clear of gaurds" I said "Now we solve the problem of getting over these walls without causing a disturbance" Bee said staring at the bleak grey metal wall infront if us. "Like this" I took one of my swords and stabbed the wall slightly higher than me, trying ti make as little noise as possible when I did it. I used the sword as leverage to do the same with the other one, creating a simple way to get up the wall.

"Pull those put on your way up, I have a feeling we're going to need them" Bee nodded his helm and started his journey up the wall, ever since getting kidnapped by those glitches of programmers I made sure to keep my weapons on me at all times.

I hopped of the top of the wall to give Bee some room to finish getting over it, "That was way to hard to do" Bee said as he pulled himself to the top if the wall panting a little. I giggled a little at the sight of my partner "It shouldn't Bee we've jumped higher walls in training". "Yeah yeah" he jumped down and handed me my swords "Thanks,now let's get back to the task at hand" he nodded and turned his communicator on.

"So we need to get to the computer room to gather intel and take photos of the operation along the way, that way it'll be easier so the rest of the troops to storm here" Bee said, I nodded my helm and I started heading towards the building infront of us, I assumed that it was the base of operations for the mine.

"What do you think we're gonna find in there?" He asked breaking our silence, we were in the clear so it was okay to talk "I don't know probably a bunch of mining plans and if we're lucky some future Decepticon attack points" I said clearing the hallway to my right as Bee cleared the one to my left. This place was still giving me the creeps, there was something about it that seemed familiar but in a bad way.

"Scrap" I whispered, I'd been so lost in thought I didnt hear the pad steps coming our way "We need to hide Bee and quick" I said pulling the mech into a side room, listening for the pad steps to disappear when they did Bee and I pushed the door open to clear both ends of the hallway.

"That was one close call" I said "Sure as scrap it was and it's all thanks to your deep thinking" Bee said shoving me a little, "Yeah yeah yeah" I said pushing him back.

"Intel says the computer room is up ahead" Bee said checking the map on his communicator, and sure enough it was.

"You stand guard and I'll get hacking" I said to him as we entered the dim room, it kinda reminded me of the record rooms in the Iacon hall of records where Rainjet used to work. "I'll download what I can or what seems of interest to me" I said accessing their main frame and began digging through files. I knew there had to be kind of some good intel in here that Optimus and the Autobots could use all I had to do was find it.

"Theres nothing here it's all blank, someone wiped it", I'd only been searching the data base for a few minutes but I could already tell that someone had dine a wipe on it, it was one skill I still used that Rainjet had taught me.

"Bee is there anyone coming our way?" I asked, there was no reply and I still had my optics on the screen. "Someones already here" a voice said behind me, that voice, the last time I could remember hearing it it had been full of sadness and anger but now it was just cold. A chill went up my spine.

I spun the chair I was sitting in around, there standing over Bumblebee was Rainjet, she looked cold and menacing from the doorway "Nice to see you too Twinwave" she said, "What in a Kaon pit did you do to my partner?" I said reaching for my swords I'd put them on my back when I'd starting hacking.

"Oh nothing too bad, just a blow to the back of his helm" she said looking down at him and giving his limp body a light kick "And I wouldn't do that if I were you" I kept my hand on the hilt of one my swords "I could shoot him dead right here right now if draw either one of those blades" she said turning her optics off of Bumblebee and onto me.

"I dont believe you have it in you" I said keeping my hand ready to draw a sword at any time. "You haven't been around to see me change, you have no idea what I would and wouldn't do now", she kept her optics focused on me.

"I don't believe word you're saying" I said gripping the hilt of my sword tighter, she just smirked and ignored my comment she just seemed to brush everything I said off or ignored it.

"Well this has been a really lovely reunion but I think Soundwave and I" she said gesturing behind me "Would rather see you in a cell".

Before I could turn all the way around something from behind me knocked me unconscious, I didnt even get a chance to land a hit in either one of them. The last thing I saw before my helm hit the ground was Rainjet's smiling face. It didnt look like the one she'd used when we lived together, this time it was cold, her faceplates looked satisfied with the pain Soundwave had just caused me.

Before I blacked out I locked my swords into place in their case on my back so they couldn't immediately be taken off my back by either Rainjet or Soundwave.
