Alex's P.O.V

I woke up and got dressed before heading downstairs to the kitchen. I walked in and saw Stefan there with Damon as he drank his coffee. Damon seemed happy. Too happy. But my attention was refocused on Stefan when he slid a travel mug of coffee in my general direction. I walked up and looked at him suspiciously.

"Why are you here?" I asked him. "I thought you'd be guarding Klaus's coffins 24/7," I told him, and he smiled.

"Well, Bonnie told Elena, and Damon, that I was at the witch's house after Klaus almost killed Jeremy yesterday when they wouldn't tell him where I was. To which I explained to Damon and only Damon that's where the coffins were." Stefan explained and I looked at Damon.

"Is Jeremy ok?" I asked, and he nodded.

"Alaric pushed him out of the way of the car; sadly he got hit instead." I looked surprised. "But don't worry little sister, he was wearing his ring." I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding in. How did I miss all of this? "Then I compelled Jeremy to go to Denver, via Elena's request," Damon said.

"Ok, so what do you want Stefan?" I asked and turned to him.

"For us to leave," He said and stood up. "I told Bonnie we'd meet her at the witch's house in ten minutes." Stefan then walked out of the kitchen. I turned to Damon who was still grinning like a madman, and he just shrugged before following Stefan. I grabbed my coffee and followed after them. Today is going to be a long day.

~At the Witch's House~

We were walking toward the house when Stefan asked Damon, "You didn't tell Elena about the coffins did you?" I looked at Damon.

"No, I said I wouldn't tell anyone but Alex," Damon said, and I took a sip of my coffee.

"I know what you said," Stefan said to him.

"Then why are you asking?" My older brother asked.

"Because protecting the location of Klaus's family is my number one priority right now. And the fewer people who know, the better." Stefan explained and I felt a chill down my spine when we were a few feet from the door. I placed my hand on Damon's chest to stop him from walking, which causes Stefan to stay put. They looked at me confused.

"What?" Damon asked and I turned my head a bit.

"Someone's in the house," I whispered.

Damon and Stefan looked at each other. Damon sped inside, and Stefan waited by the door while I hid behind a pillar. A few moments later a hybrid walked out of the house and turned to see Stefan standing in front of him. Stefan locked his jaw, prepared to pounce as the baby hybrid vamps out. But I rip out the hybrid's heart before they start fighting each other. Damon sped up next to us as I took another sip of the coffee in my left hand.

"These newly turned hybrids are really starting to become a pain in the ass," I said as I looked at Stefan who gave me a quick smile. I threw the heart on the ground and walked inside the house.

Stefan leads Damon and me down to the basement where I saw Bonnie packing up her bag. She was holding a tiny sign in her hand, and I stopped her before she walked out. I held up the sign, and it read ' Happy Birthday Caroline! ' I smiled slightly and gave it back to her. I didn't know it was Caroline's birthday. Bonnie rushed out of the basement, and I turned back into the room to see four coffins had appeared.

"The coffins," I said and walked up to one of them.

I opened it up to see Elijah's grey, daggered body. I closed it and moved to the other two coffins and open them up as well. One had long curly black hair and looked like a pirate whereas the other one looked like a teenage boy and had clothes on from the earlier 1900s.

"How could Klaus be so cruel to his flesh in blood?" I mutter to myself. "I'd never do this to you too," I said to my brothers, as I closed the coffin and moved towards the one in the very back of the room. I went to open it when Stefan stopped me.

"Don't bother." He said, and I looked at him. "It won't open." I turned back to the coffin confused and tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge. Looking back at them, I walked over to my brothers. "I'm going to check for any more Hybrids," Stefan said, and I nodded. He walked out of the room when Damon started hitting the coffin with a shovel he had found. After a while, Stefan came back.

"Damon," Stefan said, and he turned to us. "It's not going to open."

"Any more Hybrids?" I asked my little brother as Damon walked back towards us.

"Nope, just the dead one," Stefan said, and I sighed as I looked at the coffins.

"Ok, Klaus has six siblings. Rebekah is with Klaus. There was Henrik who died in the old world, then the dead kid in the new world," I pointed to Elijah's box, "Which leaves Elijah," I then point to the other two boxes, "And two others. Three sleeping originals, four coffins." I walked up to the locked box. "So, who is in the locked box?" I asked them.

"No idea," Stefan said and walked up to me. "But whatever is in here, Bonnie seems to think will help us kill Klaus." Damon walked up to the other side of me. "So, the sooner she can get this open, the sooner we will know if she's right," Stefan explained.

"Oh, and you the spirits of a bunch of dead witches, that can make the coffins invisible, would have figured out how to open one," Damon said as he turned around and looked at the house. I turned around as well waiting for something to happen, but nothing did. Damon tilted his head towards the ceiling and the spirits expectantly. "Fine, don't help," Damon said to them.

"You know, none of this is gonna do us any good if Klaus' hybrid friends find our hiding place, right?" Stefan asked us and I looked at him. "They need to go away."

"Oh yeah, that's a great idea, Stefan," Damon said to him. "Why don't you just ask them to pack their bags and take a long rest while we are at it. How about trying to keep the peace? Don't attract attention to the real thing we are trying to hide."

"Well, I'm not gonna play defense when I have what Klaus wants. He does what I say, or I dump his family to the bottom of the ocean." Stefan explained.

"And then he kills you and everyone you know like, I don't know...Damon and me!" I told him.

"No, he's bluffing." I rolled my eyes. "His family means more to him than anything else," Stefan said.

"Yeah, and so does the safety of my family. So are you willing to risk your sibling lives for revenge?" I asked him.

"Well I don't know, Alex. I mean, I guess there's only one way to find out, right?" Stefan asked me. "Call his bluff." I'm related to an idiot.

"The only way to call someone's bluff, Stefan, is to be willing to lose everything if you're wrong," I told him, and he smiles at us before leaving, ignoring my words. I turned to Damon immediately. "Ok, that's it! Stefan has lost his fucking mind!"

"Yeah, I can see that," Damon said. "Keep an eye out in case Klaus attacks you or kidnaps you again just to spite Stefan."

"You too," I told him, and we made our way out of the witch's house.

~At the Founder's Hall Later that Night~

I was wearing a black two-piece pantsuit when we arrived at the Founder's meeting. Damon and Alaric would be the only ones going to the actual meeting while I kept an eye out for Klaus, even though I doubt he'd be at this thing. I separated from them and went to get a drink when I ran into one of my many descendants, Meredith.

"Meredith?" I asked, and she turned to me.

"Oh, my god, Alex. Hey!" We hugged. She and I got along the best out of all the Fells; she was always better than her brother Logan. Logan was always jealous of her becoming a doctor, whereas he was stuck with a job as a news anchor in this tiny town. Meredith also was interested in using vampire blood for medical practices and I've given her a few vials of my blood in the past. "How are you?" Meredith asked me.

"Good," I said as the bartender handed me a glass of champagne. We moved over to a table to talk some more before Damon walked up to us at the table.

"That's the bridge where Elena and Jeremy's parents died in the car accident," Damon said and I turned to him.

"Wow, Damon way to make an impression," I told him and looked over at Meredith, not caring if she heard.

"Well, she knows who I am so what's the point in hiding," Damon said.

"I'm going to leave you two alone to talk," Meredith said. "It was nice to see you again, Alex."

"You too," I said and I saw her walk over to Alaric. I hit Damon over the head once she was far enough away.

"Ow!" Damon said.

"What the hell Damon?" I growled.

"What? She's family." I rolled my eyes at his words and walked away when a voice behind me made me stop.

"Hello, love." I turned to see Klaus with his hands behind his back. He looked me up and down and I crossed my arms over my chest. He walked closer to me and I kept my eyes on his. They had a playful glint to them. "You look magnificent as always." He held his arms out to me. I looked at the gesture in disgust. "Come on love," He said. "You don't want to make a scene now do you?"

I stared at him for a while before taking his arm. I still wasn't talking to him and I noticed Damon staring at us. I swear to god if you kidnap me again, Klaus, I will kill you. He walked to the foyer of the mansion where I saw Carol Lockwood. Klaus walked us up to her to which she turned and greeted us.

"Hello Alex, Klaus," She said and looked between us.

"You two know each other?" I asked her.

"Of course. Mr. Mikaelson here is one of our big benefactors." Carol explained. I dropped my arm from Klaus' when I saw Damon walking up to us.

"Look at what the cat dragged in. Nice vest." Damon said and Klaus looks at my arm as I moved a bit to stand closer to my brother.

"Thank you very much, good to see you, Damon. I was just wondering if your family would be the other big benefactor." Klaus said to us.

"What do you say, Damon, Alex? Klaus has made a very generous pledge. You know how we're chomping at the bit to begin the renovation." Carol said.

"Carol, don't take this the wrong way, but do you realize that you've been kissing the ass of an immortal hybrid who ruined your son's life?" I said casually.

"Oh, come now, darling," Klaus said and I looked at him with even more disgust. "Some would say that I saved it from all that nasty full moon business. I've never had to go through it myself more than twice, to be honest, but still, I'm very sympathetic."

"Klaus has promised to protect Tyler, Alex. And our town," Carol said and I looked at her bewildered.

"From who?" Damon asked her. "His hybrids are the one the town needs protection from."

"Well, I'd have no use for them if your brother would kindly return my family." Klaus retorted.

"Not gonna happen," Damon said.

"That's what I thought, which is why I've come to an agreement with the Mayor." I looked between the two of them. "You and the Council stay out of my hair, I stay out of yours. Your town gets protected, my hybrids get left alone and everybody will be happy." I looked at him suspiciously. "All you have to do is to get Stefan to stop decapitating my friends," Klaus explained.

"Last I checked Stefan wouldn't be decapitating them if you told them to leave." I spat.

"Please Damon, Alex, just get your brother under control, or the Council will be forced to take action against him." Carol budded in and I looked at her shocked.

"Like a chance in hell!" I told her.

"Oh come on, love. Give peace a chance." Klaus said, with a charming smirk that would work on any other women in this situation, but me.
