Chapter 23
Today was an ordinary day at the base. Three cars were driving up. "Hey look three cars are coming," Nathan said.
"Yes and one of them is a police car," Lisa said.
"Transform!" they said. "Autobot brothers are reporting for duty," they said.
"Let them in," Optimus said.
"So you guys are brothers," Hannah said.
"Yes I am X-Brawn," X-Brawn said.
"I am Prowl," Prowl said.
"My name is Sideburn," Sideburn said.
"I'm the oldest, Prowl is the middle child and Sideburn is our baby brother." X-Brawn said.
"I'm not a baby!" Sideburn snapped. "I am 16!" he said.
"Puberty police watch that teenage attitude," Prowl said.
"Hot shot, you were messing with my stuff again! Ugh it feels like you are ruining my life!" Side swipe snapped.
"Watch your attitude little brother," Hot shot said.
"Whatever," Side swipe said.
"Side swipe," Hot shot said looking at him.
"I'm Side swipe you new here?" Side swipe asked Sideburn.
"Yeah I'm Sideburn," Sideburn said.
"Nice to meet you Sideburn." Side swipe said. "You want to go to the mall and hang out?" he asked.
"Sure," Sideburn said.
"Follow me I know where it is," Side swipe said.
"Remember be careful with your money Side swipe." Hot shot said.
"Okay," Side swipe said.
"Pay attention to what you are doing, don't talk to strangers," X-brawn told Sideburn.
"I already know that!" Sideburn said.
Side swipe and Sideburn headed for the mall.
"Boy have a teenage brother isn't easy," Prowl said.
"You said it," Hot shot said.
"Come on remember we were teenagers once too," X-Brawn said.
"Yes we sure were," Prowl said.
Later at the mall Side swipe saw something. "What is it Side swipe?" Sideburn asked.
"I thought I saw something," Side swipe said.
"Oh okay," Sideburn said.
"It's in that Pawn shop," Side swipe said.
They looked at it. "It's Cybertronian," Sideburn said.
"Yes and it looks like one of the ancient weapons of mass destruction we must contact the base." Side swipe said.
"Good idea," Sideburn said.
"Side swipe to base come in," Side swipe said over the come.
"Hannah here go head Side swipe," Hannah said.
"We found something here at the mall in the pawn shop, it's a Cybertronian ancient weapon of mass destruction." Side swipe said.
"Yes and we must get it before it ends up in the wrong hands," Sideburn said.
"Understood," Hannah said. "Optimus, Megatron, come over here Side swipe and Sideburn found a Cybertronian weapon in the pawn shop at the mall," she said.
"Side swipe and Sideburn we understand we will meet you at the mall very soon." Optimus said.
Optimus and Megatron made it to the mall. They entered the pawn shop with Side swipe and Sideburn.
"Well if it isn't Optimus Prime and Megatron what can I do for you?" the shop owner said.
"This item of over in that case," Optimus said. "It's Cybertronian," he said.
"A weapon of mass destruction if it falls into the wrong hands droid or human it will be catastrophic," Megatron said.
"I see," the shop owner said and pulled it out of the case. "So this thing is a weapon that your people made?" he asked.
"Yes the ancients of our people made it, they were made to protect Cybertron from invaders," Optimus said.
"Yes I think I know what this weapon is," Megatron said. "It looks like the elemental blaster it can blast, earth, wind, fire, and water in powerful beams that can level a house." he said. "We need to get this to the base and lock it up tight," he said.
"Good idea," Optimus said.
"That will be 15 dollars," the shop owner said.
Side swipe pulled out his money. Good thing he saved quiet a bit of it. "Here it is fifteen dollars," he said.
The weapon was handed over and we got to the base no trouble.
"I wonder how that weapon got in that pawn shop in the first place?" Nathan asked.
"Who knows?" Thundercracker said.
"The important things is we got it now," Demolisher said.
