Jason's POV: I walked out of my room, ready to start the day! I ate what I usually have for breakfast, scrambled eggs and a pice of toast, nice and crisp. I walked out of the kitchen, and went to see what Piper was up to.

"Hey pipes!" I greeted her. She was talking with Katie and Miranda about girl stuff on the couch.

"Um, Jason, I need to talk to you." She told me.

"Sure! What is it?" I asked. As if on cue, Katie and Miranda left us alone.

"Jason, I was wondering if we are gonna go to collage together."

The question didn't strike me as odd, and I replied normally, "Of course, which collage were you thinking? Maybe New Rome, right?" I was a bit psyched about going to collage in New Rome, because most of my demigod friends were going there too.

"No, um, I kind of wanted to go to an overseas collage. I think it would be interesting, and I already found a really good one, look, it's in Hawaii ." She told me. "Here, Annabeth let me borrow her phone, check it out." The image on her screen showed multiple pictures of a beautiful University. It looked like paradise, I immediately forgot New Rome and longed to go there. "Jason, I just can't go alone, my enrollment was already accepted, and I sent yours just in case. They said that you are welcome there, and are waiting for your response."

"Wow! That is a great one! Sure I'll go there!" I told her.

"But, I thought you would miss all of your friends, I know I will."

"I can spend a few months away from people at Camp Half Blood for you." I assured her.

"Well, the thing is, the University sort of starts in a week." She said, starting to cry. I put my arm around her, while gaping at the news.

That news hit me harder than any monster had. I had a choice, travel with my friends, or go to paradise with my girlfriend. I made up my mind.

"Let's get packing." I told her.

We said our goodbyes to the demigods, and got Leo's new invention on, a pair of Jetpacks that could attach to each other while flying and that you could also sit on. He set the GPS on the jet pack for Hawaii and off we went.

"SEE YOU CHRISTMAS!" I promised them, and with that, we disappeared in the clouds, moving torward our future.
