Seeker log: Going against Unicron - Avenge Starscream! Log entry 8.

The ceremony where the impossible — Optimus Prime and Galvatron shaking hands as the mark of the union against Unicron — happened went in a blur as Silverwind and Thundercracker held their tears back. They wished Starscream could have seen this, that he could have been there to witness the fruits of his work.

His sacrifice hurt more each Joor until it was starting to be unbearable.

The forever broken trine had only one goal left in their minds.

Killing Unicron and avenging Starscream.

The fight was another blur — a blur of anger — as the two Seekers did their best to make even a scratch on the titan's hull. The whole united army's effort, however, did nothing as far as they could see. They were merely buying time for Optimus Prime and Galvatron to finish this inside Unicron — whatever that entailed. Whether or not they would survive was another case.

Not that either of them cared at that point, still hurting over losing their long-missed brother. They both knew that if either of them fell in this battle, the other would follow sooner or later, either during the battle or after it once it became clear that the other had not survived.

Seeker log: War's over. Log entry 1.

Although Galvatron did not make it out, Silverwind and Thundercracker reunited on the surface after Unicron had died. The Transformers, Decepticons and Autobots alike, celebrated all around them. They, on the other hand, just looked at one another in daze.
"You made it, huh?" Thundercracker said, his voice hollow. It sounded like a question but in reality it was a statement.
"So did you," Silverwind noted, her voice just as hollow. Her optics dimmed. "I wish I hadn't."
Thundercracker closed the distance between them and hugged her. "I wish I hadn't either."
Silverwind hugged him back, now crying silently. "I don't know if I can go on anymore."
"Big Bro would've wanted us to," Thundercracker noted. His own Energon tears ran down his face. "We must've survived for a reason, so... let's keep going. It's going to be hard, but let's keep going and see what the time of peace will bring us. Maybe... maybe it'll be worth it."
Silverwind let out a broken laugh-like noise. "Well, there's always the Pit for us if the peace isn't worth living after all."
"True. Let's give the future a chance, though."
"Yeah, let's do that."

They let go of each other and wiped their tears away.
"Whatever the future holds... let's see it through," Silverwind said. She offered her hand to her brother.
Thundercracker took it. "Let's see it through. For Big Bro."
"For Big Bro."

With those words, they shuffled away to mourn in peace among others who had lost someone they cared about. There would be enough celebration without them anyway.

The war was over and the peace they had yearned for for Vorns had come, yet the price had been high.

Silverwind looked at the wing sword she had taken with her to the fight — the only thing that was left of Starscream sir. Had the Leader Seeker guarded them from the afterlife to make sure they made it through? She did not know, but it felt like that.

It gave her a bit of hope as she carried the priceless sword on her back.

Together, she and Thundercracker would see the future through. They would make it work.

They had to.

The two Seekers cast one last glance on the celebrating crowd before leaving to the corridor that would lead to their quarters and let the last Orns' events sink in.

The war they had been born to was finally over and they were still alive.

They were still alive.

And they would be to see the peaceful world they had longed for together.
