The Crystal Gems and the Off colours became fast friends especially when Ruby and Sapphire refused back into Garnet. It was a relief to the off colours that the gems that found them weren't enemies but rather similar to them.

Steven was tasked with getting Matthew healed up which is what he was doing but the problem was his mouth had gone completely dry from saliva, the only way to produce more of it is if they got back to the ship and drank some water. It wouldn't be too hard, but Matthew was still very injured from his interrogation, he still had at least some broken bones and some internal damage.

With the others, Garnet managed to convince the off colours to come with them back to Earth, they were a bit concerned at first but with reassurance from the fusion they agreed.

The group was currently walking through the abandoned kindergarten with the off colours in the middle while Garnet, Steven and Matthew were on the right and Pearl, Navy and Army on the left. The discussion was rather small and they concentration on finding the ship to escape.

Garnet looked down to Matthew, who she was carrying in her hands. "Matthew I'm sorry … you shouldn't have suffered for so long. I should've seen the possibility of you being kidnapped … I- "She was cut off when Matthew raised his hand and cupped it around her cheek. "D-don't worry … You did the best you could … you all came for me and you saved me … t-that's all that matters now …"

Matthew quickly fell unconscious once again leaving Garnet to shed a few tears as she could still tell that he is in a fair amount of pain. Steven looked up to Garnet and Matthew. "Garnet … It's okay, we've saved him … we'll bring him back and then everything will be back to normal!"

Garnet managed to wipe away her tears and nod solemnly towards Steven, even though Matthew forgave her, she still couldn't forgive herself. It's exactly like the time with the corrupted Sapphire and him sacrificing himself to save Sapphire from harm. She wouldn't understand how he does what he does.

All sense of time appear to be non-existent when in the kindergarten, the group knew they were going the right way, but they didn't know how long it had been, it could've been hours or minutes. Everything in the kindergarten seemed to give off a sense of uneasiness just like they always do.

Steven had grown tired and Fluorite had offered to carry him of her back so he could rest, the off colours cooed at Steven's sleeping face, they had never seen a human before, so it was the experience for all of them when they met two humans.

Army and Navy had taken up to guarding Padparadscha, much to her enjoyment she told them they didn't need to. Of course, they knew that, but they also found it fun to meet such a different sapphire, even if she couldn't predict the future they still found her to be adorable, as did everyone else.

The group managed to find their way to the exit they were looking for at once they left the kindergarten they were met with the Roaming Eye, the off colours were afraid at first but once the ship landed and Bismuth and Amethyst left they were relaxed to see they were Crystal Gems.

They all skipped formalities and quickly everyone got onto the ship, once the ship began to exist the atmosphere, Steven woke up and realised where he was, and what he needed to do. He went to get a drink and started to heal Matthew back to full heal.

Garnet briefed the rest of the Rubes along with Bismuth and Amethyst who the off colours are and what happened with Matthew. It didn't take long for the gems to set course for Earth.

(I apologise for the dormancy of this fanfiction; I will try and continue on with it but at the moment I'm more focused on my other one. I will continue to update this one, but the update will most likely be few a far between. Thank you for the support everyone has given me! I really appreciate it.
