Chapter Twenty-Six: Prim

Professor McGonagall was not kidding when she had told them that they were going to be shun from everyone in the Gryffindor house. Well, maybe not everyone but most of them. Ron, Ella and Seamus were the only ones talking to them. The Gryffindor Quidditch team would sometimes speak with Harry but not often. Prim was actually dreading their detention that was coming up tonight.

She still remembered what Harry had told her yesterday. How he had overheard Professor Quirrell talking to someone. Harry was almost positive that it had been Professor Snape trying to figure out what Professor Quirrell had done as the protection for the stone.

Prim walked into the Great Hall that night and sighed. She was not looking forward to dinner and then detention shortly after. As she made her way over to where her cousins and their friends were sitting, she could hear her fellow Gryffindors call her all sort of names.

She was almost to her seat next to Ron when a seventh-year Gryffindor Prefect stopped her in her place. "You and your friends ruined the perfect ending to my life here at Hogwarts! We were in first place and this could've been my only chance to see Gryffindor win the House Cup!"

"Leave her alone." Came a voice from beside Prim. She glanced over and was surprised yet again to see Neville standing up for her.

Ava Dixon looked just as surprised as Prim was. "Why Longbottom?"

"Because she didn't mean to lose us any house points! It just happened! And are you telling me that you had never once been out past curfew because you had lost track of time?" He stared up at her and she shook her head.

"Ten points to Gryffindor for being brave enough to tell off a Prefect, Longbottom. I didn't think you would've had that in you." Ava nodded to both Prim and Neville before making her way back over to her other seventh-year friends.

Neville sagged in relief before turning to face Prim. "Holy cow Neville! Since when have you had a backbone when it's came to Prefects, epically Prefects in our house?"

"Oh, um… I don't know… I just didn't like how Ava was treating you… You didn't mean to be out there so late and yet everyone in our house, along with a few people in the other houses, treat you as if you meant to be out there breaking the curfew." Prim hated how they had to lie to Professor McGonagall because it made her feel extremely guilty when Neville says something like he just did. "Also… I just… You just make me want to be braver… Not just you obviously but also your cousins, Harry and Hallie. All of you are true Gryffindors and I want to feel like I do belong in Gryffindor."

Prim smiled at him and gave him a quick hug. "Come on, let's go sit down." The two first-years Gryffindors walk over to their friends.

"What was that all about?" Hallie asked as she looked up from her dinner.

"Oh, just Neville being all surprising and standing up for me against a seventh-year Gryffindor Prefect." Prim tells her cousin with a smile on her face. She still couldn't believe he actually stood up for her since Neville was known for being afraid of almost anyone who radiated power.

Hallie, Harry, and Ron all glance up in surprise. "Wow, really? What was going on?" Harry asked as Ron continued to stare between Prim and Neville.

"Oh, Ava was basically going on and on about how I helped us loose so many points because we were out for losing track of time. And well, Neville over here, called her out on being a hypocrite since she had probably lost our house points for the same reason we did. He was definitely my knight in shining armour." Prim said with a smile and watched her friend's cheek grow red hot. "Sorry Neville, but it's true. You were definitely my hero earlier." Ron glared at her and Neville before taking in a huge mouthful of his dinner. "Seriously Ronald? Did you really have to shove that much food in your mouth? I know your mum has taught you better manners than that."

Ron shot her another glare before quickly finishing his meal. "I'm going to head on back up to the Gryffindor tower… I… I want to finish up a letter to my mum."

Prim and the rest of the gang watches Ron stand up quickly and leave before they could say a word. "That… That was unexpected." Hallie says with a shake of her head. "We should really finish up here anyways. I want to get in a bit of studying before our detention tonight."

Neville groans and Harry looks over at him. "Cheer up Neville! At least it's with Hagrid and not with Professor Snape." Prim rolled her eyes at her cousin. She was pretty sure Harry would never stop hating Professor Snape.

Later that night, around 10:30, Professor McGonagall came up to the Gryffindor common room and escorted the group of five first-year Gryffindors down to the front doors of the castle. They met up with Filch and Malfoy and Professor McGonagall turned towards her students. "Please do act accordingly. You are Gryffindors who has indeed shamed your house without meaning too."

Hallie, Prim, and Hermione all nod their heads before they followed the boys and Filch down towards Hagrid's hut. Prim was already annoyed that they had to have their detention on a school night – even though said detention was with one of her favourite adults here at Hogwarts – but Filch complaining about how Professor Dumbledore should allow him to bring back the good old days' punishment where he was able to hang a student by their ankles in the dungeon. "'Ello all!" Hagrid says with a twinkle in his eye. "I got it from here, Argus."

"Hagrid, what are we doing?" Prim asks and looks over at where Hagrid's crossbow and Fang were sitting.

The giant of a man smiles and laughs as he says, "Well, inter the Forbidden Forrest, o' course. Summat has bin killin' unicorns by drinkin' their blood. Tha' is a true offense. Makes the drinker cursed." Filch walks off with a nasty gleam in his eyes as Hagrid picks up his crossbow.

Prim has to almost jog to keep up with him and asks, "Who would want to drink unicorn blood? And how does it curse the drinker?"

"Someone truly evil, Prim. Someone tha' wants ter survive in any way possible – even if tha' means they are cursed. An' killin' a unicorn an' drinkin' its blood is jus' plain wrong since unicorns are one o' the most innocent creatures in our world. Tha' act alone will leave the drinker with a cursed mind, body, an' soul." Hagrid tells them as leads the group towards the Forbidden Forrest. "Now, I need ter get two groups. 'Arry, 'Allie, Draco, an' Prim will be in one group an' Hermione an' Neville will be with me."

Malfoy looked like he was about to have an accident as he said, "We'll take Fang."

Hagrid looked down at his faithful dog and chuckled, "Sure, take Fang. He's a coward." Hagrid shakes his head again before he started walking towards the forest. "Now come on. I don' wan' ter be out here all nigh', yeh hear?" Prim and the rest of the group follow Hagrid into the forest; and when they came to the first fork in the small paved out path, Hagrid turned towards the group. "Okay, 's time ter split up. 'Arry, yeh an' yer group head down the righ' path an' Hermione an' Neville will follow me down the left path. Shoot up green sparks if yeh find anythin' suspicious an' I'll be righ' there with me crossbow. 'Arry, yeh're in charge; so, Malfoy, yeh listen ter wha' 'Arry says. Remember, red sparks if anythin' starts ter happen. Promise me tha', 'Arry. Professor Dumbledore made me promise 'im ter look out fer yeh six."

"We promise, Hagrid." Harry, Hallie, and Prim tell him as Malfoy glares at Hagrid. Hagrid nods and the two groups go their separate ways.

"I don't understand why that big imbecile put you in charge, Potter. You're the whole reason why I'm here in the first place." Malfoy says as the group of four walk with their wands out.

Prim rolls her eyes before saying, "That isn't true, Malfoy. You stupidly thought we were talking about a dragon and decided to try to get us in trouble without having all the facts. It was just a stupid story about what would happen if anyone ever had a dragon at Hogwarts. You got yourself and poor Neville in trouble."

"That imbecile shouldn't have tried to interfere with what was going on. If he had just stayed in the dorm like a good little student, he wouldn't be in this stupid forest!" Malfoy grumbles.

"He was trying to be a loyal friend and Gryffindor, Malfoy. Not that you could understand anything about loyalty!" Hallie said with a hard glare over at the Slytherin. "Now, will you just shut up and keep quiet! Us talking will attract more beast than anything else."

Malfoy looked like he wanted to say something else but decided to stop himself. The group continue to walk in silence for what felt like forever to Prim before Harry stopped dead in his track. "Guys, look at his." Harry says as he points his lighted up wand at something silvery. "Didn't Hagrid say that unicorn's blood was silver?" Hallie and Prim both nod their heads 'yes' and Harry nods his head as well. "I think there might be another unicorn hurt or dead."

"Well, should we signal the other group?" Prim asks her cousin, the leader of their tiny group.

Harry looked back down at the silvery substance before saying, "No, not yet. I want to see if we can find the creature first. Maybe Hagrid will be able to save the unicorn if it's still alive."

"Harry, I don't think that's a good idea. What if whatever is killing the unicorns is still there when we come up on the creature? We wouldn't know how to protect ourselves from it." Hallie says as she looks at her brother.

Prim watches as he shakes his head. "Hallie, you need to trust me, alright. And anyways, Hagrid did put me in charge, remember?" Hallie sighs but keeps her mouth shut. The small group continues to walk in the direction that the hurt unicorn must have gone. Prim definitely had to disagree with her cousin on the course of action that they were going in. She had a feeling something bad would happened but was not sure exactly what it might be.

Harry stops in his place before quickly wincing and Prim looks over at Hallie to see her wince as well. "What is it guys?" Prim whispers as she moves closer to them. Harry shakes his head and continues to move even closer to a break in the trees.

Once they walk through the break both Harry and Hallie crumble to the Forbidden forest's ground. They both looked like they were in complete agony and Prim hated it because she could see tears running down her cousins' faces. She looks over to where their eyes are locked on and see two hooded beings. Both of the hooded figures looked like they would be tall (around Professor Snape's height) and they were both hunched over a poor defenceless unicorn, sucking the unicorn dry. "No!" Prim whispers out in shock. At least, she had thought she had whisper the word 'no' but she was oh so wrong.

The two figure turn towards the group of four before standing up, completely forgetting about the dead creature that was keeping them alive. They were slowly moving towards the group and Prim moved to stand in front of her defenceless cousins. She held her wand tightly in her hand and let out a couple of green and red sparks into the sky before pointing her wand straight at the cloaked figures.

Prim could not see their faces with their cloak's hood pulled so far down but she definitely knew that one of the figures was distinctly female. As they moved closer and closer, she was hoping that even though her group had problems with Malfoy, he would stand with her and protect Harry and Hallie. But she was so wrong. Malfoy yelps in fear and lets out a scream before running for his life, along with Fang. Hagrid was so right about Fang being a scaredy-cat, Prim thinks as she shakes with fear.

Looking away for a spilt second, she notices that how badly her hand is shaking. How am I supposed to protect them against two adult wizards? I'm nowhere near Harry or Hallie's potential, Prim thinks as she continues shaking.

The figures move closer and closer to her and just before she was able to yell out a jinx, something magical happened. A half-man/half-horse jumps over the two cloaked figures and faces Prim, Harry, and Hallie. Prim stares at the creatures and barely catches his eyes before the creature turns towards the two cloak figures. He stands up on his back hooves and starts to kick his front hooves and says, "Leave! You are not wanted here! Leave these children alone." The figures have a standoff with the centaur for a few moments before they race off into the night. "Are you kids alright?"

Prim looks over at her cousins and notices that they are starting to slowly stand up. "We are not truly hurt. Probably more frightened and I think Harry and Hallie are going to have a wicked headache. Who are you?"

"I'm Firenze. I'm one of the protectors of all the creatures in the Forbidden Forest and at the moment, the protector of you three students." Firenze says as another centaur comes galloping into the clearing.

"Firenze, did you catch them?" The centaur asks.

Their protector looks over at his brethren before answering, "Bane, I did see them but they were trying to hurt the students, so I felt obligated to protect them. I did scare them enough that I'm hoping that they will think twice about coming back into the forest. Though, I did find something out. There are two figures out here killing the unicorns – one man and one women; and I believe they are wizards."

Bane nods his head before looking over at Prim, Harry, and Hallie. "And why are these students out in the Forbidden Forest? Doesn't Professor Dumbledore tell them that there are dangerous creatures out here in the forest?"

"Yes, we know about the dangers of the Forbidden Forest but we are here for the same reason, well kind of. We all got in trouble and our detention was to come into the forest with Hagrid to see if we can find any unicorns hurt." Prim tells them as she watched both Harry and Hallie rub their scars.

The two centaurs nod their heads before looking back at the group of students. "This is not something that we normally do but with the forest being dangerous for you three, we will give you a ride towards Hagrid."

"Thank you, Firenze," Harry says. "We know that it's an honour and a privilege to do so."

Bane studies Harry for a second before saying, "We have only met a few who has ever treated us the way you just did. And not many know that it's an honour to be given a ride from us."

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has been an amazing learning tool since our defence teacher is awful." Hallie says with a smile. Good, the pain must be leaving her system, Prim thought.

The centaurs nod their heads before Firenze says, "Newt Scamander was definitely one of the only wizards to know that about us. He is also the only other wizard I've ever allowed to ride me."

"Wow!" All three of them say in unison. "That is the coolest information ever!" Hallie adds in. Firenze and Bane both knell to where Prim, Hallie, and Harry could climb onto them.

They start moving through the forest as Firenze starts to talk, "You two know that Voldemort is not truly gone, right?"

"I had a feeling that our life wouldn't be normal." Harry says, "Ever since that night that we got our scars… And our dreams that we have had since we got back from our holiday… There was just always something strange about them… But our mind healer can't figure out if our dreams are true or not." Harry says quietly.

Firenze nods his head and looks over to Bane. "Bane, I know we are not supposed to talk about this with them but I figured they needed to know. Everyone in the wizarding world will need them to be prepared." Bane shakes his head sadly but stays silent. "No one knows how it is possible, but most of us centaurs have this feeling that he's not gone. We still feel an evil that resides over Hogwarts. An evil that has started getting stronger since this school year."

"The evil isn't connected to us, right?" Hallie asks, terrified.

"No child, we do not believe so. Especially since this evil has been here since the year the Defence Against the Dark Arts position has been cursed." Firenze says as they break through the trees.

"Harry! Hallie! Prim! Are you three okay?" Hermione asks worried as she shoots multiple glares over at Malfoy.

Hagrid comes over to the group to look over the three young Gryffindors. "Firenze, thank yeh fer bringin' back our students ter me."

"Mister and Miss Potter and Miss Dursley were almost attacked by the things that has been hurting our unicorns." Firenze says as Hagrid helps them down. "Though, Miss Dursley stood her own against them."

"Professor Dumbledore will hear 'bout tha. Prim would deserve some house points, if yeh asked me." Hagrid says and looks Harry, Hallie, and Prim over. "How are yeh three feelin'? D'you need ter head ter the hospital wing an' be checked over by Madam Pomfrey?"

"Yes, I think we do need to be checked over by Madam Pomfrey, Hagrid. Harry and Hallie would of course say no, though." Prim says with a shake of her head. "Don't even, you two." She stares at them before looking over at Hermione and Neville. "Did you guys find anything in your search?"

Hermione sighs and shakes her head 'no' and they all tell the two centaurs good-bye. They walk in silence to the castle and up to the hospital wing. Once there, Hagrid tells Madam Pomfrey a short version of what happened and asked her to watch over the six students, so he could go and get Professor Dumbledore. Time seemed to move quickly because all Prim could remember was that Hagrid had walked out of the hospital wing to get Professor Dumbledore and the next Hagrid was back with Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, and Professor Snape. "Can someone please explain to me what had happened out there?" Professor Dumbledore asks calmly.

"Professor, we had split up into two groups – Hermione, Neville, and Hagrid in one group and Hallie, Prim, and Malfoy with me and Fang. Hagrid has put me in charge, so we were walking through the forest and that's when we found the unicorn blood. I was trying to act brave but turns out that I only acted stupid. I had put us in danger by accident. I thought that if we found the unicorn still alive in time, we might be able to save it…"

Hallie picked up where her brother ended, "Well, sadly we did find the unicorn, but it was too close to death for us to be able to save it. And it was getting its blood drank from two human-like creatures. Fang yelped and attracted the creatures to us and as they moved to us, both Harry and I collapsed in pain."

"So, I jumped into action by shooting sparks into the air before pointing my wand out at them. Malfoy and Fang ran off in fear and I was scared but I knew that something bad would happen, if I didn't try to protect the three of us. That's when Firenze jumped in to save us. He scared the two figures off and once Bane met up with him, they allowed us to ride them until we ran into Hagrid and the others." Prim finished their story with a small shrug of her shoulders.

"Professor Dumbledore, I'm sorry. I shouldn'ta let 'em wondered the forest on their own… I jus' though' tha' we migh' have gained more ground with two groups. Yeh wanted me ter protect 'em an' I failed." Hagrid says with a sad sigh.

Professor Dumbledore sighed and looked over at Hagrid. "No, I was the one who had failed. I cannot believe that I had forgotten to let another Professor go out with you. Miss Dursley, I believe some house points shall be awarded to you. Let's say, fifteen points for showing what a Gryffindor is supposed to be. Mister Potter and Mister Malfoy, I would have both taken points away for how you two acted out there but I feel like both of you have suffered enough tonight out there. Harry, I know you thought what you were doing was right at first but I can see you have realized how you were in the wrong. And Draco, I hope you can see how dangerous it was to run off like you did. You didn't only leave your fellow classmates to defend themselves but you could've gotten seriously hurt out there. Professor Snape will take you to your dorm, Mister Malfoy and Professor McGonagall will take you five back up to the Gryffindor tower. Madam Pomfrey, are the students okay to head back to their dorms? I'm sure all six of them would rather sleep in their own beds tonight."

"I do not truly believe they are completely fine to leave my corridors but yes, they would probably rather sleep in their beds. Now, if any of you feel a need to come see me in the following days, come and do so right away." Madam Pomfrey says as she grabs two bottles before turning towards Harry and Hallie. "Now, the two of you definitely went through an ordeal earlier tonight, so I want you to take this potion in the morning. It should make you feel better after you wake up tomorrow." Prim watches her cousins nod their heads before all six of them follow their Head of Houses out of the hospital wing.

A week later, their finals start up. Their first exam – Charms – was on Monday, May twenty-ninth, and Professor Flitwick had called each of them alphabetically into his classroom. Prim was the twelfth student to be called and when she went in, he had her make a pineapple tap dance across the table. She had felt pretty good about her Charms exam and she believed the Herbology exam went well later on that day. The next day's exams consisted of Transfiguration and Defence Against the Dark Arts. For Transfiguration, they had to transfigure a mouse into a snuffbox; and thankfully Prim's box came out quite striking with beautiful primroses all over the box. The exam for Defence Against the Dark Arts was a joke and in Prim's opinion everyone probably ended up walking out of the exam with an amazing score.

On day three of their exams, Professor Snape made them brew the Forgetfulness Potion from memory. He also was breathing down all of their necks during the brewing process. Prim was pretty sure that both of her cousins were freaking out during that exam and it had nothing to do with brewing a potion from memory and all to do with the man that they believed was after the stone. Much later that night, they had their Astronomy exam where all they had to do was chart the planets and stars that were listed on the page they were each given at the start of the exam. The next morning, Hermione had asked them if they had had the same planets that she did, only to find out there had been multiple forms of the exam given. Their first exam on the last day was for Flying and they were all put into groups of four, basically one student from each house in each group. Prim felt bad for Harry and Hallie. Harry was paired with Malfoy, Rowan, and Mandy Broklehurst. Hallie was in a group with Lisa, Parkinson, and Wayne Hopkins. Hermione, Ron, and herself were lucky that they had pretty easy going Slytherins in their groups. Their last exam was History of Magic and it was an hour-long exam where they had to answer questions about the invention of the Self-Stirring Cauldron by Gaspard Shingleton.

Prim was ecstatic to finally be finished with their exams. All she truly wanted to do was draw but she also knew that Professor Snape and his accomplice would strike some time before the end of the school year. They were walking towards the courtyard where their group of friends were planning on meeting up to joke around now that their exams were finished when Harry said something that Prim could not believe that none of them have realized until now. "Guys, have any of you wondered how Hagrid came into possession of a dragon egg?"

"Yeah, I was thinking about that during my time in the hospital wing. Who all knew that Hagrid wanted one?" Ron asked.

Hallie stopped where she was before saying, "Everyone knew that Hagrid wanted a dragon. He made it well known to us and I'm pretty sure to other people when the staff and the older students go to Hogsmeade… Do you think Professor Snape or his accomplice gave him the egg?" Harry shared a look with Hallie before both of them went pale. "Guys, we need to go see Hagrid. Right. Now."

Prim couldn't believe how serious her cousins looked right then but she knew that whatever went through their twin telepathy was important enough for all of them to head to Hagrid's hut. The group of five runs through the corridors and out the front doors of the castle. They don't stop running until they get to the hill that goes down to Hagrid's hut. They move quickly down the hill, taking care into not falling and rolling down said hill. Once at the bottom, they run the rest of the way to Hagrid's hut.

Gasping for breath along with the other four, Prim pounds on the door. Thankfully they don't have to wait long for Fang to start barking like crazy or for Hagrid to open the door. "Hagrid, who all knew that you wanted a dragon?" Harry asks.

"Well, I sup'ose mos' people did, 'Arry." Hagrid says with a look of puzzlement on his face.

Hallie nods her head because she already knew that much. "How did you receive Norbert, Hagrid?" She asks with hope that Hagrid wouldn't start crying for his baby dragon.

"Well, I was in Hogsmeade drinkin' at the Hog's Head an' I was talkin' 'bout me love fer magical creatures. This wizard in a deep purple or black cloak musta over heard me 'bout how the one thing I had always wan'ed was a dragon. He had said tha' he had one an' would play me in poker fer it. I think the wizard thought tha' I had drunk too much ter beat 'im, but he was wrong. I had won Norbert from 'im pretty easily. He had asked if I could care fer the creature an' I told 'im tha' after Fluffy, I could handle any magical creature." Hagrid tells the group and the five of them share a knowing look with one another.

Prim nodded her head and said the one thing that she knew was running through Harry's head. "Professor Snape must have gotten a hold of a dragon egg somehow."

"How many times do I need ter tell yeh. Professor Snape doesn' wan' the stone; he is one o' the ones tha' is protectin' it!" Hagrid tells them with a sigh and a shake of his head.

Hermione sighed and asked, "Hagrid, did this stranger seem interested in Fluffy at all?"

Hagrid had another look of puzzlement on his face. "O' course, he was in'trested in Fluffy. Ev'ryone is after I tell 'em tha' Fluffy is a three-headed dog."

"Did you tell him anything that you shouldn't have, Hagrid?" Ron asked very serious. It was probably the most serious that Prim had ever seen him.

"Well, he jus' kept askin' questions 'bout Fluffy an' I told 'im tha' the on'y way ter get Fluffy ter calm down an' go ter sleep was by playin' music. Oh, I shouldn'ta said tha'." Hagrid says with a look of shock on his face.

Prim shared another look with her family and friends before Harry says, "Hagrid, we'll talk later. We have to go and talk to Professor Dumbledore!" And with that Prim and the rest of the group follow Harry out of the hut and all the way back to the castle. Once they were back inside, Harry tells them quietly what he had figured out. "Professor Snape let the troll in on Halloween, so he could get past Fluffy but he wasn't able to."

"Yeah, he had to have gotten bit by Fluffy." Ron buts in and Harry nods his head 'yes'.

"So, he had to think of a way to get past Fluffy and who else would know how to get past Fluffy other than Professor Dumbledore?" Harry asked them.

Prim gasped and said, "Hagrid… And what is the one thing everyone knew that he wanted? A dragon… Professor Snape used poor Norbert to get past Fluffy."

"Poor Norbert! That dangerous creature poisoned me! And is also the whole reason that the Gryffindor house lost so many points!" Ron grumbles but Prim and the others pay no attention to his comment.

"We have to see Professor Dumbledore!" Hallie says as they take a turn into another corridor.

But they are stopped dead in their tracks by Professor Snape. "Why are the five of you inside the castle when it's one, nice outside and two, when your exams are finished?"

"Oh, Professor. We were heading to hang out with our friends but we all forgot something in the dorms that we needed outside. Like, I forgot my sketch pad and Hermione and Hallie wanted to grab a deck of cards to play cards games. We are slowly trying to teach our friends how to play muggle card games." Prim says with a smile and a shrug of her shoulders. "Though, they are waiting on us, Professor. So, we kind of need to hurry along."

Professor Snape nods his head. "Oh, Prim before we head back down, I needed to stop by Professor McGonagall's office. Remember that I had a head of house question." Hermione says with a smile.

"That's so true! We should stop there first since it's on the way to the Gryffindor Tower. Professor, are we excused?" Prim asks sweetly.

"Yes, off you go. I have potions to grade in my office." Professor Snape says before allowing them to continue to Professor McGonagall's office. They speed walk their way to the Transfiguration corridor and once at her office, Hallie knocks.

"Come in," Professor McGonagall calls through the door and the five first years walk into the office. "Miss and Mister Potter, Miss Dursley, Miss Granger, and Mister Weasley, why are you five in my office instead of outside enjoying our nice weather."

Harry takes a step towards her and says, "Professor, we must speak with Professor Dumbledore. It's truly an urgent matter."

"I'm sorry Mister Potter, but Professor Dumbledore has been called away by the Minster of Magic. He left ten minutes ago for London." Professor McGonagall tells the five of them and Prim's heart sinks.

"But Professor, it's about the Philosopher's Stone! We believe someone will try to steal it!" Hallie tells their Head of House.

Professor McGonagall had a complete look of surprise on her face that Prim would have found funny if the situation was not so dire. "How did you? I don't know how the five of you found out about the stone but I can promise you that no one will be able to steal it with how heavily protected it is. Once Professor Dumbledore gets back, the five of you will explain exactly how you found out about the stone. Now off you go. Go enjoy this wonderful weather we are having today."

Prim and the others walk out of Professor McGonagall's off with despair across each of their faces. "I just know Professor Snape is going to try to get the stone tonight. And since Professor Dumbledore isn't here and since Professor McGonagall won't listen to us; we will get to the stone first. Tonight, at midnight. We will meet in the common room with Hallie's and my cloaks; and we will stop Professor Snape from getting the stone for Voldemort." Harry said with confidence lacing his voice. Prim was sure that everything wrong that could happen tonight, will.

A/N: So, do you guys have any ideas on who the mystery person is?
