Part Twenty Seven

Jackie was wheeled back into the room where everyone was eagerly waiting,

"Oh sweetie well done your a mommy! Where is little Amber?"

"The nurse is washing her up. She will bring her down when she is finished "

"How you feeling?" Donna asks as she hugs a weak Jackie,

"Exhausted yet amazing. You should see her she is so beautiful and perfect "

"Like her mommy " Steven says taking Jackie's hand and kissing it lightly, the nurse appears in the room holding baby Amber making everyone coo happily at her. Jackie sits up as she gently takes the baby out of the nurses arms,

"I will come back later to try breast feeding "

"Ohh we came at the right time!" Fez says entering the room with Kelso both hands full with balloons and cuddly toys,

"Oh would you look at her! She is so cute!" Donna says gently stroking Amber's cheek,

"Well good genes donna !" They all laugh lightly,

"Jackie could I hold her?" Kitty asks welling up with tears,

"Of course you can! Amber go to your grandma Kitty!" Kitty cooed and fussed over the baby,

"So how was the labour?"

"Painful!"

"She was amazing in there !" Steven says proudly,

"Eric can you get the camera out of my bag honey. I want a picture of Steven and Jackie with the baby"

"Sure thing " kitty hands Jackie the baby back as Hyde sits down on the bed beside them , wrapping his arm around them smiling widely as kitty takes a picture.

Later on and everyone left the room apart from Steven as they sat together watching Amber being breastfeed for the first time,

"This feels so wonderfully weird!"

"Yeah I can imagine. I think she is nearly finished. Why don't I take her while you rest your eyes"

"That would be good. I love you Steven "

"Love you too doll!" They kiss before Hyde gently takes Amber off a sleeping Jackie,

"Your mommy is tired. You have the most strongest kindest mother Amber. I promise you that I will always be around for you okay angel. You and your mommy are everything to me and I am going to protect both of you "

Jackie wakes up to find hyde sleeping beside her ,

"Steven?" She gently strokes his hair as he opens his eyes,

"Hey what time is it?"

"No idea. Is Amber in the nursery?"

"Yeah . She's safe doll. How you feeling?"

"Okay baby actually more than that I am the happiest I ever thought I could be!" Steven smiles taking her hand,

"Me too. You know if you had not had nagged me into going on a date we would not have been here. Jackie you have given me everything that I never thought I wanted but now that I have it I feel so happy. Thank you Jackie "

"Oh Steven. Your so good to me come here" they snuggle together both remembering their first date and smirking and laughing together.

Donna , Eric, Kelso and Fez enter the basement and sat on the couch,

"What a day! Hyde and Jackie are parents!"

"Yeah we are growing up!"

"Hey I had a baby first!"

"Yes after a one night stand!"

"So. I care about Brooke. A lot"

"Oh god kelso please tell me your not in love with Brooke!"

"So what if I am?! Its not bad thing . She is Betsy's mom" donna looks sadly over at kelso,

"But you both don't have anything in common. She likes reading and you well need i say more"

"Shut up donna ! You and Eric have differences and so does Jackie and hyde but your both happy!" Kelso stands and storms out the house,

"Oh nice one donna!" Fez goes after him,

"Oh god eric!"

"Hey he will forget about it its kelso"

"No you don't understand. Brooke told me at Jackie's baby shower that she is seeing someone..." eric sat in shocked silence,

"Oh jeez donna. What do we do now?!" Donna chews her lip thinking,

"We gonna have to get brooke to talk to kelso..." eric wraps his arm around her as she rests her head onto his shoulder.

Hyde entered his house and sits onto the couch, the tiredness hitting him as he yawns loudly. He takes his boots off and makes his way into the kitchen and he gets a pop from the fridge,

"Steven?" He spins round looking at a battered looking Mrs hyde,

"What the hell you doing?!"

"I know that your mad...I need to talk...tell you that I am so sorry " hyde shakes his head,

"Look i dont want your god damn apologies! I want the one you are good at leaving! Now stay away from me, stay away from Jackie, just stay away from my family "
