Well we have come to the end of the story. I want to thank all of you who have read this, I hope you have enjoyed and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the amazing review you have left with your kind words and how you enjoy it. The week following the wedding was a good one. We were back home, and all the others were still all here. So, we could all enjoy a night together before the others left to go back home. Stefan and Rebekah had got home earlier, and we were going to have a family dinner tonight. Our chateau was amazing, and everyone liked it. It was large and tucked away from others, and we had land all around. There were over 20 rooms, many bathrooms, a huge kitchen, massive dinning room. Then a breathtaking ball room, 2 pools outside and 1 inside, a stable for the horses, library, setting rooms, wine cellar and so much more. Plus, a breath-taking view as well. It was an older building, but we had it modernized before we all moved in and fixed up. Everyone was loving it and it was nice to be back in Paris.
We had a wonderful dinner ready and everything was all set up and I was excited to have a moment with the family and just be able to enjoy after all that had happened. Everyone helped to bring the food out and then we all took our seats.
"Well Bella thank you for putting all of this together and had something she wanted to tell all of us before we start. So, Bella my love."
"Well first I am glad we are all able to be her together. It had been a few months now and I have missed having us all together in one place. You know if someone would have told me a year ago, I would be here today I would have never believed it. But now here we are with new relationships, friendships, and are own messed up crazy family. Truth is I would not change it for anything in the world. All of us have been through so much together. Life, love, death, people always wanting to come after us. Somehow thought we always make things work out one-way or another. Most of you I have known for years if not most of my life and each one of you hold an incredibly special part in my heart. You have all helped me in so many ways become the person I am now.
I could never tell you all how much you mean to me. Our family may not be a traditional one, but we do love each other, and we are there for one another. I know we all have not always got along but we have come a long way in the last year. I love all of you so much and I am so grateful that I have each and everyone of you in my life. You have all truly made it wonderful and an incredibly beautiful life. I cannot wait to see where life takes us all next. So, to our family may we always remember how lucky we are to have one another. May we be there for each other and love one another. To Always and Forever." Everyone raised their glasses.
"Always and Forever." We went through dinner laughing and talking, enjoying a beautiful day together.
"So how was Fiji Rebekah?"
"Amazing, it was so nice to just relaxes and have a good time. I forgot how nice it was to just have fun and not worry about everything."
"I know what you mean, it was nice to just relaxes and enjoy our time together."
"We need another girls night again."
"Well how about next weekend?" I asked the rest of the girls.
"I'm in" they all agreed.
"What about you Sage would you like to join us as well?" I asked her.
"I would really like that, thank you."
"Of course, your one of the girls in this family we are happy to have you come with us."
"Maybe we can show them our favorite spot."
"Rebekah, I love the way you think that would be perfect."
"So, we will make it all weekend then, that will give us enough time to do all of our favorite things to do here."
"It will be an amazing weekend." I told the girls and then we continued to make plans and talk with the others.
Once we were done with dinner, we all helped to clean up. We spent a few more hours laughing and talking just enjoying before we would say good night and goodbye to the ones leaving in the morning. Nik and Caroline were taking them to the airport in the early morning, so it was our last night all together for a little while at least. I walked over to Charlie to tell him good night and goodbye as he was going back to Mystic Falls with Liz in the morning.
"I'm so glad you could come Charlie; I have missed you."
"I have missed you Bells, I'm glad we got to have this week together. Plus, it was nice to see Paris."
"It is pretty amazing here, I'm happy I got to share it with you."
"I will miss you Bells don't be a stranger."
"I won't, you feel free to come here anytime you want."
"I will goodbye Bells."
"Goodbye Charlie, I love you."
"I love you Bells." We hugged goodbye and I told Liz goodbye as well and then we all headed off to bed tor the night.
Once in bed with Elijah I curled into him and a few tears fell down my face. I had always hated to say goodbye to people I loved.
"We will see the soon my love."
"I know I will just miss them. I love you Elijah, good night."
"I love you, good night." And we both went to sleep.
The next morning, we got up and ready for the day, we all had our own plans for the day. So, Elijah and I were making it a day for just the two of us. I left my hair down in a natural wave and put on a light blue sundress as it was still kind of warm weather.
"Are you ready my love?"
"I am do we have everything?"
"All packed and ready to go." He held up the picnic basket that he had packed our lunch in and had a blanket for us to set down on once there.
We left the house and walked out back to the grounds. There were all kinds of beautiful places. A little stream that lead to a pond, beautiful tunnel ways and columns that looked like Ramon ruins but looked brand new as well. It was one of my favorite parts of the grounds. Once we were outside, I started to run once we were close to the columns Elijah chuckled at me.
"What are you doing?"
"Catch me if you can." I ran past the columns and looked at him. He quickly set our things down and stared to run after me. I picked up spend and laughed as he continued to chase me, both of us were running at the human speed to just have fun for a little while. Finally, I let him catch me and we both fell to the ground laughing and smiling. He pulled me close and we just laid there for a while. I listened to all the sounds of nature with the gentle breeze and Elijah's fingers slowly tracing up and down my arm. I relaxed into the moment felling so happy and grateful that I was able to have this moment with him. Moments like this made me feel more human and enjoy the little moments in life more. After we had lid there for a good hour, I moved a little so I could look up at him with a smile.
"Are you read y to go have our picnic?"
"I'm ready whenever you are." I climbed up and pulled him up with me. We walked hand in hand back to were we left our picked and once there Elijah laid the blanket out for us and took off his suite jacket as I sat down before he joined me on the blanket.
"What do I have to go to get you to wear something beside your suite all the time?"
"You have got me out of a suite plenty of times." He said with a smirk playing on his face.
"Not like that Elijah, I mean when we do things that are not as fancy dress up as other things."
"Do you not like my suits?"
"I do believe me, but Kol and the others don't thing I can get you to wear something else. They have a bet but don't know I know about it."
"Well if that is the case, I do think I can take a day away form the suite to show them."
"You are pretty amazing you know."
"Not half as amazing as you are."
"You know I'm glad things have turned out so well for a little while there I was not sure if they would turn out so well. I'm just glad we get to all be here together but I'm really glad I get to be here with you."
"I am glad as well my love you are my whole life."
"And you are mine." We started our lunch and enjoyed. After a little while I laid down with my head on his thigh and every few moments, he would put a grape in my mouth. It was nice to just enjoy a nice September afternoon with one another. I watched clouds pass by making out shapes as they pasted.
"I could stay like this forever."
"I could as well my love." We spent the rest of the day just the two of us enjoy this perfect moment together. It really was an amazing day. We watched the sunset which was so beautiful over the grounds. Once it was dark, we both got up gathering the things and made our way back in. once we took care of the stuff and telling the ones here good night we went to our room. Our room was large with a 4-post bed, windows down one wall with beautiful drapes, there was also a table, chairs, and a couch. It was simple yet so elegant.
"Elijah I'm going to take a bath would you like to join me?"
"I would love to." We made our way into our bathroom. It had a deep large tub in the middle and a chandler above it. There was a vanity in the corner and lots of natural light, it was a beautiful room. I turned the water on and added some bubble bath to the tub getting in I set in front of Elijah and just relaxed into the warm water. We talked a little while as we set there. Before to long the water went cold and we got out getting dressed for bed. As we set in bed I lean against Elijah.
"You know Elijah, I know that our lives have not worked out as we might have planed them to but I don't think we would be here together if they did because we would never have even had the chance to meet one another. I'm glad I get Always and Forever with you Elijah."
"You will always have me my love, Always and Forever."
Elijah leaned down and kissed me. I smiled into the kiss and then cuddled into Elijah.
It was kind of crazy to think of all the things that had changed from the time I was human. I was completely happy in life and so glad things worked out and we had all found happiness. I knew that life was always changing and I was ready for that whatever may come our way I was prepared for it, that was the thing about life is things are never what you expect them to be, life doesn't go as planned but if you hold on long enough you find that life works out better then you could have planned. I know that us all being together could very well be because of a prophecy put that was ok with me because we were all happy together and wanted to be together even if we came together I a different way. I was ready for whatever happens next because I knew it was a part of my Destiny.
