Matt p.o.v.
I was taking a quiet stroll around the beach with my bro, occasionally I saw him trying to snatch glances of women's cleavages but for once he wasn't behaving like a total obnoxious idiot. The peace didn't remain for long because he spotted Lutz, and who was beside him? Undine and Fantina chattering him away. I was dragged against my will furthermore Allen had to provoke a useless fight.
"What are you three doing here?" was he trying to ruin Lutz's progress? After all, Fantina was this German's main target or was he more out to snatch Undine away since she was Allen's second objective.
"We are simply having a civil competition for Lutz," Fantina answered not being pleased regarding being interupted because Allen appeared to have came in the middle of a story.
"Why would you two have a competition regarding him of all people?" was my bro jealous of the attention the blondie was getting?
"I admire his backside, meanwhile my friend here is more after those muscles," Undine answered honestly, Al concluded she was mentioning this guys ass so he whined.
"But why can't you compete for my ass." I face-palmed and decided to back away, I seriously didn't want to hear my brother explain why his bottom was so much better than Lutz.
Only a few steps away I came across Flavio who was chasing after Cynthia, has he messed up by ogling women when she was passing by? It must have been the case since Cynthia's face seemed quite disgusted especially when the Italian was trying to repair the damage with pretty but empty words. I decided to help her out since it didn't look like that flirt would cease his disruptive behavior anytime soon, he was already grabbing many stares from strangers.
"You already made a mistake, let it go." I tried to guide him back to his spot, looking back Cynthia noticed my helpful actions and she expressed her gratitude by nodding her head and sending me a smile, a sentiment from relief soon appeared on her face. I decided to keep an eye on Flavio for the moment begin so he wouldn't continue his chase after the girl that already was crushed by his ungenuine pursuit after her heart.
"This won't do we need more time to spend with the girls, getting to know them better should do the trick. Do you have any ideas about how we could obtain it?" I shook my head, not feeling any concern around this matter. If the girls found us pleasant and approachable it would happen naturally. If these guys acted like dicks it was solely on them.
"Alfonso, Kate give me ideas." Kate wasn't going to help, I assumed she felt bad for Cynthia for being fooled by Flavio with his fakeness. Alfonso was just laying there smirking to himself as if he was expecting this outcome. Would it be safe to assume those girls were the ones on those gay dates he mentioned yesterday? I didn't care enough to confirm it. The couple of this trip was scrolling on their phones. I spotted Flavio getting hugely interested in a single picture of a flour sack that somehow made it's way to Kate's Instagram. I wasn't sure who she was following to get recommend such a picture but that gave Flavio a ridiculous idea nonetheless.
"I got it. I'm a genius." he turned his attention to me, he required an ear to listen to his schemes and I was the only one available.
"I guess I can hear you out, but make it quick." Even if I was displeased in the circumstances I decided to lend him an ear.
"You know how American schools sometimes prepare projects were they give out flour sacks or baby dolls to prepare their students for mother and fatherhood?" My eyes widen in surprise. Was his plan to buy over the teachers to do this shit?
"How will you even make the girls accept it?" Flavio just smirked at my question.
"If they get a week off for the project to stay at our houses wouldn't it be perfect?" I couldn't believe it, he was ready to throw away money for the sake of stupid pictures. Usually, he was wasting his money on women instead.
"At least will you allow the girls to decide who they want to do the project with?" I urged we didn't want anyone in a situation where they would be hated on during a whole week.
"Nah, that would be extremely boring, we will let fate decide for us." Was Flavio becoming crazy, I thought he wanted calm happy girls, not hostile monsters which would happen if, for example, Justice ended up with Jian.
I sighed if the teachers agreed to his crazy request I expected that grades wouldn't be involved or at least hoped my partner wouldn't care about receiving a lower grade. I left since Flavio was consumed with his preparations, I knew there was no way in hell anyone could possibly stop him. Luciano would probably cooperate if he had the probability of capturing his target into his grasp.
"This is so annoying," I said scratching my head, I found myself circulating around the beach until I located the spot all the other girls were chilling at. But who did I find amid their group? Claudius. I guess they trusted him enormously since he was used as a pillow.
"If you want you can use my thighs as a pillow," Avalyn said to the albino. Were they possibly spoiling him? Did his uncaring and depressing nature made him docile in their eyes?
"Matt, what are you doing here?" Catalina asked as she greeted me, the other looked my way.
"Come sit with us!" Erin was quick to invite me over to their spot.
"You sure this is a good idea?" Justice asked her and Aspen who was observing me behind her sunglasses finally said.
"I think it is safe to have him over, it would be a different story if it was his brother." was I seen in a different light than the other guys? Maybe they noticed me holding some respect toward them which came from the fact they truly took their time to remember my name.
"You heard her, come don't stand around." two pairs of hands grabbed each of my palms and dragged me down to sit on their blanket.
"So we heard you guys weren't indeed stalking us?" Justice decided to start a conversation even if she was quite wary of my presence before.
"Yes we had no idea you guys were coming here, in fact, Flavio wanted to have a safe space to be able to flirt with women without being found out. It was a cherry on the top that he invited us all over." it was a good opportunity to throw him under the bus for the project he decided to push over on us without consulting us first, he would probably demand again we follow his plan with no possibility of protest. I could see Allen taking his side, with him and Luciano there was no backing out. I sighed just pondering about it.
"Is something bothering you?" Erin asked I didn't think they would be so caring regarding my emotions.
"Flavio came with another stupid idea, makes me sometimes wonder why I hang out with those guys." mostly because they had one thing I lacked, money. If it wasn't for Oliver and his support I and Allen would probably still be in that shitty situation. Shaking away those unwanted thoughts Erin suddenly asked me.
"Would you want to have a volleyball match with us?" I agreed, without much hesitation, Claudius was against the idea as he solely wanted to bask in the sun.
"Come on grumpy you ought to have fun." Justice pleaded him to tag along as well, he finally gave in after the girls started to poke his sides. They packed their items while I offered aid.
"You're so much nicer than the other guys." Avalyn complimented me, truthfully I had no idea why I was acting this way usually, I would lazy around. Was hanging with these girls so much pleasant perhaps? When the game began I was on the team together with Aspen, Catalina, and Justice. On the opposite team were Claudius, Erin, Avalyn, and Cynthia. Some random men commented about being jealous of us two chaps because we were surrounded by so many girls. They would probably have lost it if the whole girl group would be present. Erin's team won, I called it Erin's team because she did most of the scores and work there, but we were only two points away from winning, thanks to mostly Justice's dedication. These two athletic chicks wanted a rematch, but Aspen stopped them.
"Maybe you guys have the stamina but the rest of us are sweating, so I rule that we should dip ourselves inside the water." Erin decided to become competitive.
"Last inside water is shitty toast." I was not expecting them all to rush out, Cynthia took it upon herself to drag Claudius along as well. I sighed and followed along, however, something caught my eye midway there. I inspected and as I expected I found a nice looking shell. I picked it up, I wasn't much for collecting such items. Spotting those hazel colored eyes looking at me, expecting me to join them I decided it would be best to gift this shell to Catalina.
"Here you go." I handed it over to her, but suddenly Erin arrived from nowhere.
"Ohh you flirt." she was definitely here to tease me.
"Guys look! Matt is more of a romantic than he lets on!" the other girls started to clap as if this was some shitty confession. I was hoping someone would distract them so I wouldn't need to deal with this situation anymore.
"Guys! Guys!" I saw blonde and brown locks swaying with the wind as the girl was running toward us.
"You need to listen to this!" Behind her was a smaller black-haired female that somehow seemed flustered. At least my prayers were answered.
"You know how Luciano was chasing Laura all over the beach?" All the girls stopped in tracks considering whatever another story about Luciano and his crazy ass would just ruin their day.
"We came across him and this mad lad told him how she adds canned tuna, corn, and boiled eggs on pizza and he lost his shit! He was swearing in Italian and he finally left her alone." Tabitha was trying her best to control her laugher but she was failing miserably, the other girls found it funny on how petty this crazy Italian was about his cuisine. But I never imagined he would stop his chase solely because she makes pizza, not the traditional Italian way.
"I can't visualize it." I shared my honest thought.
"He was yelling about how of a strange arrangement this was and how they no longer fit to be together." Laura nodded her head confirming it.
"Even so it sounds like he will get over it within a day and continue the hunt." I was just being realistic.
"Don't jinx it, you have no idea how long I waited for this peaceful moment and I hope it lasts for eternity." Laura was puffing out her cheeks, suddenly she reminded me of a hamster.
"Why can't you just use your muscles and fighting skills and beat him to a pulp, I'm pretty sure then he will leave you alone." Laura shook her head.
"My material arts are for clearing my mind and keeping my body healthy, I won't waste my talents on brutal violence." Erin then butted in again probably witnessing how irritated her friend got around this topic.
"You two need to know, Matt gave a shell to Cat, we can totally except a couple being made out of them." I decided to ruin her fun.
"I didn't need it myself, so I decided to give it to someone who would enjoy owning it, there is nothing else to it." I felt the little freckled girl elbowing me.
"You don't need to be shy." I glanced at all these starry-eyed gazes coming from all the girls, were they expecting this would push me to confess to someone I didn't hold any feeling for? I decided to start a water fight and suddenly all the previous topics were forgotten because the full out war began.
I think this is enough with Beach fun, next on we will read about a school day I guess~
