All I own are my OC's (Aris, Perci, Raylo, Takashi, and Loretta), the cover (made it myself via Google Slides), and this story itself.
I'll be skipping over parts of volume 4 (sorry, it's just not that interesting to me) as well as some of the first few parts of volume 5. The events will mainly focus on Weiss and Aris. A non-OC crossover character will appear as well.
"That's it," says Professor Port. "Everyone on board! This is a mandatory evacuation."
"A safe zone has been established in Vale!" Oobleck adds. "Please remain calm and listen to Atlas personnel."
Weiss puts a hand over her mouth. "N-No..."
Someone runs up to her from behind. "Ruby!" the heiress exclaims.
"Thank goodness I found you!" Ruby pants.
"Where have you-" Weiss tries to say this, but is cut off.
"Don't worry, I'm fine," says Ruby. "What's going on?"
Weiss lowers her gaze.
"Weiss?"
The heiress stands aside. Ruby gasps.
Blake Belladonna is lying on the ground next to Yang Xiao Long and Aris Atreides. The blonde brawler and the Hylian Hero are both missing arms - Aris, his left, and Yang, her right.
From the skies, a beam of light appears.
A chariot emerges, pulled by two beautiful unicorns*. Two figures are driving the chariot. Both of them look nearly identical, save for the fact that one of them has a darker, edgier look than the other. The figures both have wings on their backs, and they look like...angels.
One of the angels, the less edgy one, picks up Aris's wounded body, looking at the Hylian with intense worry in his face. Weiss marches up to him. "Who are you, and what are you doing to my boyfriend?"
The angel turns around. "Wait, you're Aris's girlfriend?"
Weiss nods. "How do you know his name?"
"Aris is an old friend of mine," the angel explains. "He and I have gone on some adventures to other worlds together. I'm taking him back to Skyworld to help him recover."
"Skyworld?" says Weiss. "And, what's your name?"
"I am Pit," says the angel. "Servant of the Goddess of Light."
"And I am Dark Pit," says the edgier angel. "Servant to no other but myself."
Takashi Miyamoto and Raylo Windrider arrive on the scene. "If Aris is going to wherever you're taking him, we're coming, too."
Takashi and Raylo explain who they are. "Okay then," says Dark Pit. "You two can come with, but there won't be any more room on the chariot."
Weiss sighs. "I'll stay behind..."
Pit approaches Weiss and puts a hand on her shoulder. "We'll take care of him. Don't worry."
Weiss nods. "You better."
Takashi and Raylo board the chariot with Pit and Dark Pit, carrying Aris's wounded body with them. Weiss stops them. "Wait!"
Dark Pit looks over. "What's up?"
"Tell Aris I love him."
Dark Pit smirks. "I'll do that."
Pit grabs the reins, and the unicorns rear up, pawing the air. "Phos, Lux! Let's go!" Pit exclaims.
The twin unicorns begin their run, and the chariot seemingly disappears into thin air, traveling at incredulous speeds.
Some time later...
Aris opens his eyes. There's a throbbing pain in his left elbow. He looks. He gasps.
His left forearm is completely gone, a bandage covering up where his elbow would be.
"Don't worry," says a voice. "You're safe."
Aris looks to his right. A beautiful woman with long, flowing green hair is sitting on the foot of the bed he's resting in. She seems...familiar.
"Where...where am I?" Aris pants.
"You're in Skyworld," the woman answers. "Pit and Pittoo took you back here, with two friends of yours."
Aris gasps. "Lady Palutena?"
The Goddess of Light smiles. "In the flesh."
Aris lurches forward, hugging Palutena with his remaining right arm. Palutena returns the hug. "I've missed you," she says.
Aris pulls away. "I missed you, too."
"Do you need anything?" Palutena asks. "You look rather hungry."
"Some food would be nice," Aris agrees.
"I'll have Pittoo cook something for you."
Palutena gets up and leaves Aris in the bedroom.
Some time later, a familiar raven-haired boy with a black tunic and black-feathered wings enters Aris's room, carrying a bowl of piping hot soup. "Careful," he says. "It's hot."
Aris nods. "I gathered that, Dark Pit."
Dark Pit laughs, handing Aris the soup. "Your...girlfriend. From Remnant," says Dark Pit. "She told me to tell you that she loves you."
Aris averts his eyes. "I love her, too."
"Y'know, I never thought I'd see the day you found love," says Dark Pit. "Congrats, old friend."
"Thank you." Aris consumes a few spoonfuls of soup. "Weiss and I have been together for a while, actually."
"She been treating you right?" asks Dark Pit.
Aris nods. "She's a bit...uptight, at first, but when you get to know her, she's a real sweetheart. Not to mention really pretty."
"Sounds like quite a girl," says Dark Pit.
"She certainly is." Aris eats some more soup. "She's my entire world."
"You miss her already?"
"Is that even a question?"
Dark Pit pats Aris's right shoulder. "You'll see her again, Aris. But for now, you'll need to rest for a few weeks before returning to Remnant."
"What about my arm?" Aris asks.
"Taken care of," says Dark Pit. "Sort of. Palutena sent a message to your sister about it."
"And?"
"Loretta said she'd have the Sheikah scientists see what they could do," Dark Pit says. "She also wrote that she'll be delivering it to you personally."
Aris averts his gaze. "I guess that's good."
Dark Pit smiles. "It is." He gets to his feet. "Eat up. And get some rest. If you need anything, just yell."
Aris nods. "Noted."
The Hylian does his best to eat the rest of his soup, doing so with relative difficulty due to the absence of a left arm. He sets the empty bowl on the nightstand beside his bed before drifting off to sleep.
