Cats Out Of The Bag

Kairi

We all had plans for a movie night, today was our first day of Drivers Ed and we all wanted to have a get together before our lives got too busy. I went shopping earlier with Jessie, Ari, and Rikku for snacks and drinks for the party but nothing seemed appetizing to me. As much as I love my friends, all I wanted was to sleep. I was exhausted, nauseous, and totally not myself. I wasn't sure how much longer I could take keeping this a secret.

"Do we have all the snacks set up!?" Namine asked, poking her head in the mini kitchen.

"SURE DO!" Yuffie screamed, rattling my ear drums. First a stomachache now a headache.

How long was this movie night thing going to last for again!?

"We also have dinner!" Xion exclaimed. "We got freshly made tortia rolls I made!" She holds up a platter of tortia rolls, the strong whiff of the Mexican cheese sent me running to the bathroom. Before I knew it, I was hurling in front of the toilet. My palms and back sweating, and my entire body shaking. I don't know how I was going to do it.

A knock on the door startled me as I flushed the toilet. It was Ari.

"Kairi!? Are you okay in there!? Jessie sort of told me..."

I froze. Who else did she tell? Would Aerith tell?

"She told me you were having a bad hair day" Ari continued, sending a wave of relief over me. "I can fix it up for you if you like! I'm a pro at straightening hair!"

"Oh...Yeah, yeah..." I say, standing up to my feet. "Let me uh, just brush my teeth first! Nobody is going to want to be talking to me with bad breath!

That was a close one. I knew that sooner or later I had to tell my friends, a secret like this can only stay a secret for so long.

Vanitas

"Can you believe that movie today that they had us watch in Drivers Ed?" I grumbled, as I heft a 38 pack of water over my shoulder, damn that shit is so heavy. Sora, Riku, Ven, Axel, Roxas, and I were headed to the girls dorm for movie night.

Now that we all have jobs and are starting drivers ed, we all agreed to have a big get-together-movie-night thing before our lives got more busy. I didn't want to admit it to anyone but I was really looking forward to this. I was looking forward to cuddling up with Ari under a blanket and sharing a bag of popcorn, as cheesy as that sounded. I couldn't believe we finally kissed, I honestly feel like I don't deserve love, but I know for a fact that Ari does.

"RIGHT? If I knew that driving was that simple, I could have taught the fucking class!" Axel replied, his fingers were turning purple from the weight of the two six pack soda cans he was carrying. "Hey! Can somebody switch with me!? I can't feel my fucking fingers!"

"I will!" Roxas volunteered, taking the soda's from Axel and handing him a few bags of chips that he was currently holding.

"All you were carrying were CHIPS!? You suck!" Axel growled.

"I switched with you, didn't I!?" Roxas cried.

"True..."

Riku laughed. "Honestly though, this school needs an elevator."

"OH! You didn't know!? They're making an elevator!" An old smoker voice came from behind us.

I nearly tripped up the stairs as I turned to see Xehanort sneering up at us with his yellow teeth.

"Hey, when did you get here, Master Xehanort!?" Ven asked from behind me.

"Where are you little shits goin!? To a parrrttieee?" Xehanort smirked. "You shits ain't gonna make it with drivers ed and school with your fancy parties ya know! You kids wouldn't know responsibility even if it smacked you in the ass."

"Alright, boomer. You have no right to tell us where our priorities are. We are teenagers and we are allowed to have fun once in a blue moon." I snap as I slam my case of water down on his foot causing him to howl and loose his balance.

He fell and tumbled down the stairs shouting all the swears in the book and knocking over Phil's case of his Olympic Trophies as a certified hero trainer. Glass shattered everywhere and the entire hall was a mess.

"Look what you assholes made me do!" Xehanort shouted, scrambling up to his feet. "Now Mickey will have my ass!"

"I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't want it, even if you paid him." I reply, causing all the guys to laugh behind me.

"OKAY, THAT IS IT!" Xehanort roared, as he started to charge up the stairs toward us.

"RUN!" Axel screamed.

Aqua

"Hey! The boys are here!" Olette called out to us, as she answers the door.

"Oh thank GOD I'm thirsty as hell from setting all this crap up!" Selphie cried, hurrying over to Vanitas to snag a water from the case that he was holding.

"You're thirsty!?" Vanitas growled. "Try carrying these up four flights of stairs while having Xehanort chase you!"

"Wait, Xehanort chased you guys!? Why?" I ask, walking over to Vanitas to take the waters from him and set them on the table.

"Vanitas pushed him down the stairs." Riku snorted, wrapping his arms around Jessie as soon as he set foot in the dorm.

"I didn't push him! He was insulting us and calling us shits so I dropped the case of water on his feet to shut him up!" Vanitas defended. "It was his own fault that he fell down the stairs!"

"Yeah, and he broke Phil's trophies on the way down." Ven added, as he walked over to the snack table. "Mmmmm...Pretzel bites with the powdered cheese in the middle, my favorite."

"You know that is all artificial, Ven, right?" Terra asks from his spot on the couch.

"That's why its good!" Ven replies, popping a few pretzel bites in his mouth.

A sudden loud BANG! Caught everyone's attention and made everyone jump.

There was no other than Yuffie, standing on a table, with a wooden spoon and cooking pan in her hands.

"WWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLCCCCOOOMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEE TO MOVIE NIIIIIIGHHTT! PLEASE ENJOY YOURSELF TO SNACKS AND BEVERAGES UNTIL YOU THROW UP! THIS IS OUR LAST PARTY BEFORE WE GET BUSY WITH THE SCHOOL YEAR AND DRIVERS ED! LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

"Oh please don't say 'throw up'" Yuna wailed, holding her center.

Jessie leaped four feet back, shielding Riku and Xion in front of her.

"YOU SICK!?" She shouts.

Yuna sighs. "No...I'm not sick...I guess it's time that I tell everyone the news..." She pauses to take a deep breath.

"Yuna? Are you sure?" Tidus asks, rubbing her back gently.

"Yes...everyone will know sooner or later..."

"Know what Unnie?" Rikku asks, racing over to her cousins side, her jade green eyes filled with worry.

We all go silent as Yuna takes a deep breath. "I'm pregnant."

Sora

The entire room fell into an awkward silence at Yuna's news. I felt a slight singe in my heart as I watch Kairi walk over to her to stand by her side. Everyone's eyes were on them. I guess that now was the time.

"I'm pregnant too everyone." Kairi blurted as her eyes fill with tears. "That's why I've been acting so strange and sick lately..."

"Unnie...Kairi..." Rikku whimpered. "You poor things kept this secret from us? But why?"

Yuna looked down at Kairi, she probably was relieved but also scared for Kairi since they are both pregnant.

"Why didn't you tell us? That's a big deal." Olette adds.

Kairi shrugs as she walks over to me, I wrap my arms around her protectively and rub little circles into her back.

"We needed time to process the news I guess, we were scared...it's not the easiest thing to share with the world when you haven't even planned to be a parent." I step in.

"I was scared I'd be judged." Yuna adds sitting down next to Tidus.

"JUDGED!? By who!?" Axel cries "Were all here for you two! We're all friends here! We got your backs!"

"Yes! Whoever messes with my friends messes with me!" Namine adds with a nod.

"Yeah, just tell me who is being a little bitch and I'll shove them down a flight of stairs." Vanitas smirks.

We all laugh. It really felt good to tell everyone about this, we really needed the support.

"We're just not ready...you know?" Kairi sighs.

"Who is ever ready to be a parent!" Ari cries. "You'll figure it out as you go, and you guys aren't alone in this! You have all of us! I'm sure that King Mickey could pull some strings also!"

"True that!" Axel fist pumps the air. "Why don't we all settle for a movie and eat a bunch of snacks!? We should enjoy the night that we have together!" He wraps an arm around Roxas's waist, pulling him close to him.

Kairi looks at me and we exchange a smile.

A/N: I apologize for the short chapter! I've had writers block for this story for a LONG LONG time! So please bare with me as I get back into the flow! This is also a filler chapter, Jessie will be releasing the next chapter of Destiny High were everyone starts driving and Kairi and Yuna get further along in their pregnancies! Oh, and we can't forget about their job shenanigan's ;)
