I thought back to when I was first assigned to the Lunar Hunters, when it was part of the Freeza Empire. We had been assigned to wipe out a planet but a mystic had cursed our captain with a vision of the future, one he has been trying to change. He has never told us what it was, only that it included his sister. "I'll watch the broadcast, you two go back into stasis, I'll wake you up if there is anything new."

"Fine by me Fifty." I gritted my teeth as he shut off his comms.

"Enjoy the world's 'entertainment'. Fifty." Romne clicked off

"Damn brutes." I rewound the broadcast to the beginning, and opened up a food compartment in my pod. 'This is going to be a while.'

Chapter 25: Midoriya Vs Todoroki

I sat down with my class, sighing as I felt my Zenkai Boast flow through my veins. 'Giving him half my power allowed me to grow even stronger.' I thought to myself. "That was a nice warm up." I said.

"You didn't have to break his arm." Iida swung his arm at me.

"I'll admit I let my instincts take hold." I shrugged my shoulders I looked down at the arena as our classmates stepped onto the stage. "This fight is going to be a close one, and I get to fight the winner." I smirked.

I stepped onto the concrete stage across from Todoroki, thinking of the talk I had with Endeavour just before coming out to the ring. My own words ringing in my ears, 'I'm not All Might, and Shoto isn't you.'

I stood there as the dual element hero in training looked at me. "Are you ready!" Midnight asked us.

"Yes." I said.

"I am ready." Todoroki nodded.

"Then begin!"

"FULL COWLING! FIVE PERCENT!" I charged my body with my quirk as Todoroki sent a pillar of ice at me. "DELAWARE BLAST!" I flicked my finger at the incoming ice, adding a small green Ki blast to the attack. It impacted the ice blasting it apart and the wind forced Todoroki back making him use Ice to hold him in place. I aimed my hand at him and flicked again, he blocked it with a ice wall, and in the seconds that his me from his view I powered up, a green ki aura shrouding me and I blasted forwards with my quirk. "DETROIT SMASH!" My ki blast impacted the ice and I was in Todoroki's face, and my fist in his stomach. He skidded back as he caught himself with more ice, but I kept the pressure up with rapid punches and kicks. All my training with Fuma had paid off.

I dodge a wall of ice spikes by jumping back, but I was right back in, breaking the ice and attacking him. "What... just a few weeks ago you couldn't control it!" He skidded back as he blocked another punch.

"DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN BEAT ME WITH ONLY HALF YOUR QUIRK!" I kicked him in the chin forcing him back a step. "WE ARE ALL GIVING IT OUR ALL!" A punch to the gut. "YOU SHOULD BE DOING THE SAME!" Knee into his ribs. "It's your power Todoroki! YOUR QUIRK, NOT HIS!"

I locked eyes with him as flames began to burn on his red side. I dodged a blast of fire from his open hand that singed my clothes. "THATS IT SHOTO! USE YOUR FLAMES!" I heard Endeavour from the crowd.

"DEKU! DON'T YOU DARE LOSE!" I locked eyes with Fuma and nodded.

Now that Todoroki was taking this seriously I started to press him even harder. I barely dodged a ice spike that grazed my cheek. I landed back as I pushed my quirk to it's Limit. "One Hundred Percent!" My Ki aura sparked as green lighting filled the air around me. "DETROIT..."

The heat in the stadium raided so much that the cement started to smoke. Todoroki's hand glowed with fire. "Cementos we have to stop this!" Midnight called out.

"On IT!" Massive walls came up between us as Cementos tried to end the match.

"BLAST!" My arm screamed in pain as all the power flowed out of me in the form of a blinding green beam, it vaporized the walls in front of me and crashed with Todoroki's flames. We were equal...

But...

Fuma had taught me a trick.

I whispered under my breath one word.

"Harbinger." And for a microsecond my power doubled in a raging orange aura.

And that was enough to blast through Todoroki's flames and hit into the stadium wall. As the smoke cleared a massive crack ran through the entire building. And Todoroki was...

He had leaned back far enough to duck under the attack only his jacket was missing, he stood back to straight. I took one step forward and collapsed from exhaustion and pain. My arm was shattered and my entire body screamed in pain. "I can't move..."

"Midoriya is unable to continue. Shoto Todoroki wins." Midnight announced as I was loaded up into a stretcher.

"What..." Present Mic was lost for words.

The crowd was silent, before a single pair of hands started to clap.

The two, the more and more.

The stadium came to life with cheers and hollers.

I walked into the Nurses office and nodded to recovery girl. "He's resting dear."

"I won't be long." I said as I stepped around the curtain. Deku's arm was wrapped in a large cast. "Well, that was certainly impressive." I remarked.

"I think I may have over did it." He laughed as I sat on the chair next to him.

"If it get's the job done, then it isn't over doing it." I gave him a light punch on the cheek. "You are amazing."

He looked away from me, a blush on his face. "But I didn't win."

"So what? Now you know that you need to get stronger, and if I can beat him all the better." I just waved it off, "Just beat him next time, that's the point of training right?"

"Yeah, yeah your right." He smiled as he looked at his free hand. "I'll beat him next time."

I grabbed his hand and closed it, "And not destroy your body in the process, I still need my fight out of you." I smirked.

"R... right." He stammered as I let go of his hand, and for a second it felt like I should take it again, but it quickly passed.

Huh, this was shorter then I thought it would be. Weird.
