Hello my fellow readers, writers, and people who have been enjoying this story so far, I'm back with yet another new chapter. In this chapter we'll be going over the events of the episode of Fairy tail title key of hope. I don't know how much will change with Hope thrown into the mix anyway I don't have much else to add so without further ado let's get this show on the road.

Hope's P.O.V

After the teleportation thing that the whole guild hall did one of the members asked Natsu, Wendy, Carla, Happy, and myself "wait a second let me get this straight you guys are saying you're from another world called Earthland and you came all the way here to try to save your friends. Natsu simply said "yeah" and one of the Edolas Fairy tail members who were bullying Edo Elfman said "you're saying there's a Fairy tail in Earthland" and another said "and Erza is actually one of your allies there."

Carla said "you seem to be surprised" and Happy being himself said "aye" and the one who was the heaviest male drinker in Earthland's version of Fairy tail said "you would be too that's a pretty tall tale" and another person said "yeah it sounds crazy. That said this defiantly isn't the Natsu we know" and Edo Mira said "he sure does look like him thought" and another person said "you can say that again"

The Edolas Version of Wendy looked down at her Earthland counterpart and said "you mean this little girl is the other world's me" and Wendy said "uh hi." The member who earlier was running around talking about jobs said "wow she's like a pipsqueak version of our Wendy." Natsu said "I hate to interrupt but could someone tell us how to get to the royal city" and that elicited a gasp out of almost everyone except the people in our party.

Wendy said "your king was the one who pulled our friends into this world and now we have to save them. Otherwise they'll be converted into magic power if that happens they'll be gone forever" and Edo Wendy said "I know this is the last thing you want to hear little me but I think it's best if you forget them.

Anyone who would defy the king of Edolas is as good as dead he has a mighty army as his beck and call" and Edo Elfman continued "there's only so much magic power in our world there's not much left of it. it won't be too long before we run out" and Edo Grey said "it's the king's greatest fear so he tries to keep all the magic power for himself" in a serious voice and with a serious look I would expect the Grey I knew to have.

He then switched back to shooting googly eyes at Edo Juvia and said "isn't that right Juvia dear" and she nodded and said "that's correct which is why he ordered that all magical guilds be disbanded." One of the other members said "at first everyone tried to ignore the order" and another person said "but the royal army's magical warfare units started wiping them out one after the other."

Another person said "our guild is the only one left and it's not like we've escaped unscathed we lost half our comrades to the royal army and our master they killed him." Edo Grey said "we've got our hands full just trying to stay safe" and another member said "I would stay away from the king if I were you guys go back to your world while you still can." Natsu then shocked the whole guild and said "no way I aint afraid of your king and I aint leaving without my friends I promise ya that." I said "if sounds like you king is nothing but a dictator and I've taken on at least one before and the one I took on I'm pretty sure was more powerful than any magic I've seen in Earthland which means he was stronger than your king.

And be honest I would be lying if I said I hadn't formed any bonds with the people of Earthland's Fairy tail so I would rather prefer they didn't parish either." Both Natsu and myself started walking toward the door and right before he stepped outside, he said "I understand your numbers were cut in half but I still can't believe the Fairy tail guild is so cowardly."

After walking in the direction one of them told Carla before we left for about 15 minutes Natsu got distracted by a pink frog-like creature. He was acting like he was sneaking up on it even through it was staring right at him and he said "okay hold still little guy" and he pounced at it while saying "gotcha." However, the creature hopped out of his pouncing distance and he landed face first in the sand and he said to it "Hey" before chasing after it hopping like it was doing."

Carla said "just what do you think you're doing" and Happy said "just how much longer is it going to take us to get to the capital." Carla said "we only just left and you're already asking me" and Wendy said to him "they said it would take at least 5 days to reach the royal city on foot." Carla said "that's just great and with our Aria magic acting up I guess we have no choice but to walk" and I said "you're really pampered with your flying magic aren't you."

She ignored my comment and Happy said "this stinks you think we'll ever be able to use our magic again" and Carla said "I wish I knew this certainly doesn't bode well for us." Natsu then looked back at us and said "hey you want to lend me and hand here I've never seen a frog like this before we should take it back to Lucy as souvenir" and Happy said "forget it she's not a fan of creepy crawlies" however Natsu continued trying to catch it by hopping after it.

However, he stopped the hopping when he hopped face first into the stomach area of the frog creature which meant one of two things. Either the frog creature increased its own size or the mother of it finally appeared but that didn't matter as it looked like it was about to smash us since it was raising up it's webbed foot.

Happy said "I think it's getting ready to attack us then like the idiot he was he forgot that he couldn't use his fire dragon slayer magic here. he started calling his attack out "no way Fire Dragon" and seemed surprised when his hand didn't ignite on fire. As we started running away from it he said "I totally forget we can't use magic here" and Wendy said "I hate to admit it but I'm completely useless without my magic."

Natsu being the brave idiot but still and idiot none the less started turning around while running and said "then I guess it's up to me I'll take you down with my bare fists you croaker." However that didn't go as planned for him since the area he punched jiggled back a little bit and much like a punching back flew right back him which he wasn't prepared for so it sent him flying.

It looked like the frog-like creature was about to eat him until Edo Lucy jumped high in the air and unsheathed a sword handle which after a few seconds shot out a sword of light. She sliced the creature with the sword and gave it a determined look pretty much saying she was ready to fight it. Happy said "Yay scary Lucy" and Wendy said "thank you scary Lucy" and she growled at them quit adding scary to my name it's rude."

The frog creature must have decided that it wasn't the time to fight Edo Lucy since she had literally sliced it which much have caused quite a bit of pain. It turned tail and hopped in the opposite direction of us and she said "you'd think something that big would have put up a fight." Carla then for once being as subtle as a blunt instrument said to her "may I ask what brings you here" and she got a very slight blush on her cheeks and looked over at Natsu who was beaming at her.

She said "I wasn't worried about just so we're clear" and Natsu said "yep there's no doubt about it you're defiantly Lucy thanks a lot" and she said "hey what's that suppose to mean." Natsu said "there's the attitude we all know and love" and then both him and Happy got real close to each other and whispered to each other.

Natsu said "I wish we could introduce our Lucy to scary Lucy" and Natsu said "yeah I wonder what kind of reaction the real one would have." Edo Lucy kicked both of them and said "you say that you I'm the fake one" and they both said "you are" and I said "while these two are as subtle as a flying mallet let me try to interpret what they mean.

What they're trying to say is that while you're actually here you're different from the one that they know so therefore they see you as the fake one." She then started using what she called torture technique 12 which she called bone snap bridge which was actually entertaining to see Natsu getting tortured by someone with the face of someone who loved him.

Wendy said "she really is scary" and Carla said "how long are they going to keep this up we have enough to worry about as it is." After explaining the few people's reactions that we'd encountered before we found the Edolas Fairy tail guild hall Edo Lucy said "I see so that's how they caught wind of you because the townspeople mistook you for Exceeds and reported you."

Happy said "that why everyone was surprised when we told them we were friends with Erza" and Natsu said "guess she's just as scary here as she is back home" referring to Erza. Edo Lucy thought he was talking about her and said "excuse me" and he said "I didn't mean you I was talking about Erza." Edo Lucy said "well I don't know what she's like in your world but it's hard for us to believe that she'd ever align herself with Fairy tail" and Wendy said "she seems pretty bad here."

Edo Lucy said "there isn't a wizard in Edolas who isn't afraid of her if you see her face you're as good as dead" and Natsu said "defiantly don't want to run into her she's scary enough already." She then said "well here we are the city's down there" and pointed down at a city that was below the rock we were on and Natsu said "wow check it out Happy" and he responded "thank goodness it felt like we were never going to make it here."

Wendy said "it's all very round isn't it" and Carla said "well let's get going" and Wendy turned to Edo Lucy and said "hey thank you for coming with us Lucy." That seemed to catch her off guard for a moment because she was silent and then said "sure thing just follow me you're going to need some magical weaponry or you're not going to make it very far."

Natsu said "thanks a lot scary Lucy" and Happy said the same thing and she said "you guys are cruising for a bruising" and after walking down from the cliff we were on and walking through the town Edo Lucy pretty much started explaining even more how things were here. "it wasn't that long ago you could by and sell magic here just like anything else.

But then the royal army started hunting down guilds and now buying and selling magic is strictly forbidden what's worse is just possessing it is a crime." Natsu seemed surprised by that "wow seriously you can get in trouble just for having it" and Wendy said "what about people that have always been able to use it."

Lucy said "what hold on I don't know how I can explain this any more clearly if you have magic you just have to get rid of it or you'll get busted or worse." Carla said "I could be mistaken but it sounds like magic spells are treated as objects in this world" and Happy said "how." Carla continued "to put it another way the fact that magic is finite here means there aren't any wizard that have the innate magical power like we do.

Instead it's stored in objects like Lacrima they then combine these objects and weaponry or daily necessities to create magical items. Apparently these items is what is considered magic here" and Natsu said "so these wizards here can't cast spells they just use magic tools" and Carla said "basically." Edo Lucy was leading us to a set of stairs that led down to what could be a cellar and said "well we're here there's a black market for magic just down this stairwell trust me you'll need this stuff if you're going to travel."

Wendy said "a black market" and since she said it with uncertainty in her voice I said "basically it's a place where if you have enough money you can buy anything even if it's considered illegal like magic is here" and Natsu said "let's see it. guess we might as well play by this worlds rules for using magic" and Happy said "Aye" and Carla said "my, my how adaptable."

As we were looking around the shop Happy said "wow look at all the weird stuff they have for sale" and Carla said "this has to be the muskiest shop I've ever been in." an old man's voice wheezed out "that's because it's filled with priceless historical antiques my dear the mold scratches and unpleasant smells are what sets my items apart from the rest they have flavor."

Edo Lucy said "that's great but we don't care about flavor usability is what matters to us" and then she turned to us and said "there are counterfeits everywhere to double check before you buy." Natsu looked at the shop keeper and said "excuse mister do you have any fire magic" and he just chuckled and said "I think I might have just what you're looking for."

He then reached under the counter he was standing at and pulled out something and said "this strike your fancy. This is the Edolas magical sealed flame sword" and he then pulled out what looked like a shotgun shell and said "you just put this in here and voilà pretty cool huh" and Natsu said "that flame looks awfully weak but it's better than nothing."

He then looked at Natsu and said "you have a keen eye sir" and Wendy said "could we get this one" and it looked like she was holding a thermos. Carla said "why would you even want it" and she said "just look how cute and tiny it is" and Carla said "come now you know better than too choose based on cuteness child."

The shopkeeper walked over to her and said "this pretty little gizmo is called an aircliff cannon you just have to pull these two pieces apart and watch it do it's magic." She said in amazement "oh wow it's wind magic this is just perfect for me" and the shopkeeper said "what keen eye you have miss" and he then looked over to me who was just leaning on one of the shelves and said "and what kind of magic would you like to buy." I said "I actually have all that I need" and before he could respond I reached into my satchel and pulled out two stone golems and let them drop at my feet and they grew almost instantly before I shrunk them down and stored them back in my satchel.

Natsu said "okay we'll take both of them" and the shopkeeper said "great thank you for your business together they'll be 20,000 but I'll knock the price down to 18,000 just because I like ya how does that sound." Natsu said "it sound's awful expensive" and the shopkeeper said "well these items are incredibly hard to come by sir" and I said "what if I threw in 5 of my golems" and he said " well those have never been seen here so I could probably sell them for about 10,000 each so I'll knock the price down another 10,000 if you throw in 5 of them."

I reached into my bag and grabbed five of my golems and placed them down on the counter" and he said "now it'll just cost 8,000."Edo Lucy then said "wait I should have probably asked this first but do you have any money" and Natsu just laughed and said "what would make you think we'd have any money" and Edo Lucy said "it's not funny ya jerk."

Wendy said "I would pay but all I have is crackers in my pocket" and Natsu said "come on Lucy pay the man" and she got a bashful look on her face. Natsu finally said "hey is there something wrong" and she said "ok fine I'll pick up the tab for you but just this once." The shopkeeper said "oh no I couldn't take your money after everything you've done for me Miss Lucy.

My shop would have been closed if you hadn't helped me when the royal army searched it" and she said "come on that was no big deal I was just lending you a hand." He said "anyway I would be delighted if you would take them as a present from me" and she said "are you sure thanks I really appreciate that" and Natsu said "no joke thanks a lot pops" and Wendy bowed to him."

After we were out of the shop Happy said "wow scary Lucy is much more dependable then one we're stuck with" and she said "I told you to drop the scary furball." Natsu said "from the way the guy was talking you're a pretty big deal around here" and Wendy said "is there someway we can pay you back." She said "well there is one thing if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to hear a little more about this other Lucy of yours.

After sitting down at a café and Natsu told Edo Lucy about the Earthland Lucy writing a novel and her celestial spirit magic Edo Lucy started laughing out loud and was kind of causing a scene. Through her laughter she was able to said "wait I'm writing a novel and a rich girl that uses magical spirits and keys" and Natsu said what we were all thinking at this point "you're certainly just as obnoxious as she is" and she said "don't call me obnoxious."

Wendy pulled the aircliff cannon out and said "I can't seem to remember how to use this thing can you" and Edo Lucy changed demeanors almost immediately "dummy don't go pulling that out in public" and Wendy quickly put it away and Edo Lucy said "I told you magic is banned in our world you can get in big trouble just for having that thing."

She said "sorry about that" and Carla said "so magic used to be a part of everyday life just like it is in our world" and Edo Lucy said "it used to but now things have changed. The kingdom went and stole part of our culture from us" and Happy said "why would they do that" and I said "isn't it obvious Happy they're greedy bastards who want everything while the common folk have nothing."

I then looked at Edo Lucy and said "did I sum it up pretty good" and she said "yeah I'd say you hit the nail on the head." Natsu said "Well if those royal jerk wads aren't going to give the people their magic back I guess we're just going to have to go beat them up for it." Edo Lucy said "that's the craziest thing I've ever heard there's no way we'd stand a chance against the royal army."

Natsu said "if that's true then why are you tagging along with us" and Edo Lucy said "what are you talking about you guys said you needed an escort to the capital I didn't come out here to fight anybody." Natsu said "okay if you say so" and a voice behind Edo Lucy said "there they are corner off the area" and Lucy said "the royal army."

One of them said "you're fairy tail wizards aren't you" and another one said "stay right where you are" and Carla said "how did they find us" and I said "that shopkeeper must have ratted us out." I reached into my bag to get some golems out as Edo Lucy said "no I know for a fact that he wouldn't do that." I said "okay whatever" as I threw my golems at the ground right in front of the royal army which when the golems grew they stopped the charge.

Natsu said "time to try out my new magic" and pulled the flame sword out and said "fire" which covered the entire unit that got past my golems but as the fire cleared it was revealed that they had shields. He said in shock "they got shields" but quickly got over it and said "oh well another blast coming right at ya" only to pump the handle of his sword only for a puff of smoke to come out.

Edo Lucy said "I told you magic was limited here there's only a certain amount of times you can use it" and he said "it's only good for one blast" and Edo Lucy said "in terms of output you just used it over 100 time you idiot." Wendy then managed to open her new magic and created a tornado that grabbed us up and took us across the city.

As the army unit ran past the building we were hiding in Edo Lucy said "at least we lost the royal army but we're stuck in the city" and Natsu said "wow magic here really bites." Wendy said "no kidding" and Happy said "what do we do now" while Carla asked Edo Lucy "isn't there some other way out of here" and she said "not that I know of" and then one of the soldier's voices carried to the building we were in and said "We found you Fairy tail."

While everyone else had shocked looks on their faces I prepared to resummons my golems to fight them off since the other's magic was not out of uses. Then a voice that sounded slightly more high-pitched but similar to Edo Lucy's voice said "hey let go of me." Another voice I recognized from the café assault said "get over here you're Lucy aren't you" and she said "yeah I'm Lucy now get your grubby hands off of me you jerk."

Natsu seemed shocked that our Lucy was here and Edo Lucy was shocked to see her other world counterpart. It looked like Natsu was about to charge out there but I held him back and said "we need to wait for an opening." They were twisting her arm behind her back and said "cut it out that hurts" and Happy said "wait what's Lucy doing here" and Carla who seemed equally as shocked for once said "I don't know."

Natsu said "we got to save her" and even though Edo Lucy said had told him to wait just like I had he just charged out anyway. I said "I guess there's no helping it now" and I walked out and threw 3 of my golems at the unit which seemed like it would be enough to stop them from moving too much. She managed to get one of her keys in her hand and called out "Open gate of the scorpion" and Wendy tried to warn her "wait Lucy that won't help because our magic doesn't work here."

However, what was actually shocking was that Scorpio actually appeared and right as he was summoned, he said "Wicked" and then shot the soldiers away with a move that he called sand buster. Natsu said "wow magic" and Wendy said "no way" and Edo Lucy said "wow how did she do that" and I heard Scorpio say to her "sorry to skip out on ya but I got a hot date with Aquarius tonight later" and he disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Natsu just said her name and she came running over to us and said "you guy's I've missed you" and as she flung her arms around Natsu I snarked at her "even me with my wise cracks." She said "while they're annoying sometimes I did miss you as well." She had just let go of Natsu's neck and noticed her Edolas counterpart and said in surprise "that's me."

Yet another chapter done and wow what a ride it has been I've been working on this chapter for like three days and had to start over at least twice due to it not saving on my computer. Anyway in the next chapter we'll be going over the events of Fairy tail episode 81 titled fireball which I have a feeling just from the name alone it'll be a Natsu based episode.
