As Vic finally made it to Lance's apartment, he entered the room to find Lance searching for something under the couch. Vic just stared back in perplexity. "Lance!" Vic yelled.
"Oh no... " Lance muttered as he continued searching.
"Lance, get over here and explain yourself, Vic demanded.
"Sssh!" Lance shushed.
"Stop acting like a child," Vic told him.
"Sssh!" Lance shushed more insistently.
"Don't you shush me,'" Vic told him as Lance slowly rose onto his feet to face Vic.
"Keep your voice down... " Lance whispered motioning his arms towards Vic.
"No," Vic argued. "You can barely tie your own shoelaces, and you're telling me how to behave?"
"WILL YOU SHUT UP, YOU STUPID GORILLA?!" Lance finally snapped vociferously. "THE PLACE IS BUGGED! THE DEA IS ONTO US! HAPPY NOW?!"
Vic didn't say another word. He just walked outside to think. It was a queasy feeling in his stomach. Once the DEA had bugged all evidence of the Vance brothers creating a fake ID to convince the Mendez brothers that Martinez was responsible for ripping them off, the former two brothers would be lucky to have the police arrest them instead of killing them both.
"Hey, where you going, man?!" Lance called out to Vic.
"We're gonna have bugs in all our places," Vic told him.
"And by the time you've found them all, we'll be halfway through a long jail term!" Lance reminded.
"What am I supposed to do?" Vic asked.
"These bugs transmit long range," Lance told him, "so knock out all the police antennae. The DEA won't even get a signal from these things."
This gave Vic an idea. He knew the perfect weapon to bring down each of the antennas on the roof of the police stations. So Vic headed to the Ammu-Nation just down the street and purchased a rocket launcher inside.
After acquiring the weapon, Vic ran to his Infernus and hopped inside. He quickly drove through Washington Beach and finally made it to the police station just up ahead. As he parked the car, he grabbed his required weapons and hopped out. He slowly crept up the stairs leading to the rooftop and made his way on top.
He took a furtive look to see if anyone was guarding the rooftops. No one was around. The antennas were just there, and the DEA were using them to capture evidence of the Vance brother's conspiracy against Martinez. For every antenna that was destroyed, it would take longer for the DEA to garner evidence. So Vic pulled out his rocket launcher, aimed for the antenna, and fired. The missile in the rocket launcher shot out and rammed into the antenna with a direct hit.
Vic repeated the process with the second antenna on the roof. That was two antennas down, plenty more of them to go. There were antennas on top of the station of Little Havana planted with bugs as well, and the evidence was gradually rising. So Vic had to work fast. He spotted a VCPD Maverick resting on top of the helipad and ran to the vehicle to hop inside.
Vic started the engine and slowly descended in the air, with the chopper's propeller whirling loudly. As Vic made it about twenty feet above the roof, he accelerated forward and made his way to the other side of the city. He flew above the bridge leading to Starfish Island and zoomed past the mansion on the left hand side of the island. The sunlight above the sky glistened in the rippling water of the ocean from up above. The buildings up ahead closed in as Vic got closer to the other side of the island.
He saw that the police station was just up ahead, and the antennas on top of the roof were bleeping with red lights. Vic headed to the rooftop of the police station and landed the chopper right on top. As he exited the vehicle, he grabbed the rocket launcher and aimed for the antenna. He pulled the trigger and fired the missile, which hit the antenna, destroying it completely. He repeated the process with the second antenna and soon, both antennas were destroyed.
Vic didn't have time to celebrate though, because he still had a couple more antennas to destroy on the roof of the final police station Downtown. So Vic hopped right back inside the Maverick and started the engine, descending the chopper twenty feet above the rooftop.
As Vic accelerated the chopper from above the road, he caught a glimpse of the police cars and FBI vans driving through. Vic knew that they were also onto him, and it was going to be a lethal force if they caught him. So he continued accelerating and headed straight to Downtown. He could feel his heart pumping hard. But he kept his composure and continued flying up ahead. He knew that if he panicked of such a thing, it would come back to bite him and exacerbate the situation.
So Vic instead flew above the ocean to avoid attraction from the police, who were riding wildly in cars and FBI vans around the road. The clear ocean water was reflected by the background up above. The sunlight shone through the glistening, rippling water. The sunlight bounced off some colorful palm trees between the long road on the left hand side.
Vic continued accelerating as the rotating propeller above the Maverick whirled loudly. He saw that the building of the police station was only up ahead. Unfortunately, there were also a proliferation of police officers dispersed around the rooftop. So instead of flying towards the rooftop of the police station, Vic landed on top of a taller building and hopped out of the Maverick.
While on top of the roof of the taller building, Vic pulled out his rocket launcher and aimed for one of the two antennas on top of the police station rooftop down below. He pulled the trigger and the missile shot out and smashed onto the antenna, destroying it. He aimed for the second antenna and destroyed that one as well.
With both antennas destroyed, Vic has also destroyed all evidence that he and Lance were responsible for framing Martinez for being a cop working for the feds. Of course, this also meant Vic had to lost the cops that were hot on his trail. So he hopped inside the Maverick and started the engine. He slowly took off in the air and flew away above the city.
