I have to say one thing! The last chapter- when Marinette said that she doesn't think, because it interferes with being crazy...I was hoping someone would understand my reference. It's a Leo Valdez quote XD. "I try not to. It interferes with being completely insane." And when someone noticed my reference i was like YESSSS! Dreamer3, congrats- You guessed it right! :D
And sorry for the long wait..but keep in mind that it's not summer anymore so this isn't top priority, even though I try my best. And that my friend isn't doing it with me for now.
And honestly...when I get reviews begging me to update or complaining it's been too long..truthfully, it's a bit discouraging. I'm not trying to be rude, but i do try my best to update as often as I can and it's a bit frustrating...but that's fine, I understand because I know how annoying it is when people don't update every few days. But life happens, so we need to just..be patient...ugh now i feel bad..anyways!

Chapter 43: Pixelator part 1
Scene: Le Grand Paris. Ms. Bustier's class is having a work experience. Kim puts on his bellboy hat.
Caline: Thanks to the generosity of Mr. Bourgeois, we're able to have our work experience field trip today at the Grand Paris luxury hotel. Each of you will get hands-on experience with one of the many jobs here at the hotel. (Sees Alix and Ivan having a pillow fight) (sighs) You'll be graded on your effort, which will affect whether you pass or fail the class. (Sabrina and the worker giggle)
Ivan smiled. "That was a good pillow fight, though."
"Yeah, pillow fights are the best!" Alix laughed.
Miss Bustier raised her eyebrows. "Well, it was irresponsible."
The Hotel's main hall.
Ms. Bustier: Do you have Marinette and Alya on your list, Mr. Bourgeois?
Mr. Bourgeois: It doesn't look like it.
Alya: (whispers to Marinette) I bet I know who helped Daddy make the assignment.
"Chloe," Everyone sighed in unison. Chloe blushed.
"At least I have you jobs," she defended.
Alya scowled. "Yeah, like trash duty," she scoffed.
Marinette: Of course, she gets to spent her entire day with Adrien... Ugh! This is gonna be the worst day ever! (groans)
"Jealous much?" Adrien teased. He would never admit it aloud, but Adrien absolutely loved watching Marinette swoon over him every single episode. For some reason, it was highly satisfying.
Mr. Bourgeois: It must be an oversight.
Alya rolled her eyes. "Yeah, totally."
Chloé: Daddy! (Gives him an assignment)
Mr. Bourgeois: Thank you, sweetie. Oh yes! Alya, you're going to be... sorting trash at the main dumpster.
(Alya gasps)
"Okay, yeah," Adrien said. "Chloe definitely helped make the assignments."
Everyone nodded.
"Nobody else would give Alya and Marinette the worst jobs ever," Nino agreed.
Marinette shrugged. "Actually, it wasn't the worst. In fact, Chloe helped me do something really amazing. Right, Chloe?"
Chleo scowled and looked away.
Mr. Bourgeois: And, Marinette will be...
(The door opens. Jagged Stone, Fang, and Penny Rolling appear.)
"It's not everyday a rockstar walks into your house!" Chloe exclaimed.
Chloé: Wow!
Marinette: Hey! That's...
Mr. Bourgeois: Excuse me, but this is a luxury hotel, not a... (Fang growls at him)
Everyone laughed.
"I almost forgot about that crocodile," Marinette giggled. "He's quite the pet."
"Too bad he couldn't have his pet kitten anymore," Mylene said sadly.
"He had a kitten?" asked Marinette, confused.
"Yeah, remember? He used to have one, before he was allergic," Alya reminded her. "Lila even saved his kitten on a runway! That's when the sound of the blaring jet engine gave her the tinnitus."
Marinette gritted her teeth. "Wow...that was really brave of her."
Chloé: Daddy! (whispers to him) That's Jagged Stone, the rockstar. He's sold millions of albums, he's very famous and is very, very rich.
"Now that'll get the mayor perky," Alix snorted.
Mr. Bourgeois: Mr. Stone, welcome to the Grand Paris Hotel! I am Mayor Bourgeois, the owner of this luxury establishment, in fact, the most luxurious in all of Paris. How might we serve you?
"Quite a mood change," Marinette laughed.
Jagged Stone: How'd you think? I didn't just come here to admire your lobby.
"Sometimes I forget how sassy Jagged Stone is," Adrien laughed.
"Not Marinette level sassy," Alya joked.
"I'm not even sassy! Why do you keep saying that?" Marinette shook her head.
"You just don't realize it," Adrien grinned. "How about this, then? Um, because it requires someone with a sense of responsibility?"
"When did I say that?" Marinette frowned. "Oh, wait..yeah I did. But that was like, the only time."
"Who am I kidding? You don't even have taste! I mean, look at what you're wearing!" Chloe quoted.
Marinette blushed. "Yes, but-"
"Looks like someone's got it in for Chloe! Ha! The hard part will be finding out who doesn't," Tikki added.
"Oh come on, that's not-"
"It means that I'm not putting up with your crud anymore, Chloé, and neither is anyone else around here, so take your attitude and go on, get lost!"
"Fine!" Marinette interrupted, rolling her eyes. "You made your point."
Everybody laughed.
Penny Rolling: Jagged would like to check into your most luxurious suite.
Jagged Stone: And Fang better get a real bathtub, not a tiny water hole like the one in that hotel across the street.
Adrien laughed. "He treats his crocodile like it's his child."
"He probably thinks it is," Alya shrugged. "Plus, no one else would have a crocodile as a pet anyways."
"I think it's kind of cute!" Rose admitted. "Their relationship I mean, not the crocodile."
"Crocodiles are cool," Juleka murmured.
Mr. Bourgeois: We have everything you need, Ms. Fang. Even a state-of-the-art entertainment center!
Marinette giggled. "I think he's mistaken the lady for Fang."
"Can you blame him?" asked Alya, amused. "I mean, it's not exactly normal for a guy to walk around Paris with a crocodile on a leash."
Jagged Stone: Fang's my crocodile. (points at Fang)
Mr. Bourgeois: Mr. Stone, we have everything you require for your... Fang. Would he, um... enjoy a bubble bath?
"He's probably internally screaming," said Alya, amused.
Jagged Stone: Crocodiles don't like bubble baths. That dries their scales out!
Max frowned. "No, it doesn't."
(Vincent Aza quietly enters the hotel, Fang sees him and follows him. Marinette and Alya see him. Fang sees Vincent and gets scared.)
Jagged Stone: Oh, no. Not him again.
Vincent: Remember me, Mr. Stone? Vincent Aza! Just one photo to show everyone in the world that we're best buds! Come on, please! I'm your biggest fan!
Jagged Stone: I know, you've been to my last 36 shows. But we are not friends.
Vincent: There! Look into the lens!
Alya snorted. "He's almost as much of a stalker as Marinette."
"I'd love to agree with you but it's not like she's been to my last 36 photoshoots," Adrien said, quoting the previous scene.
Marinette felt a faint blush spread across her cheeks. "Yeah, you're right.."
"See? I knew you weren't a complete stalker."
Marinette blushed harder. "I haven't been to your last 36 photoshoots. I've been to even more. Possibly 200."
Adrien blinked.
The class burst into laughter.
Penny: Didn't you hear Mr. Stone? You still haven't got it, have you? (gets Vincent out of the hotel) No photos!
(Penny throws Vincent's camera and he grabs it)
Penny: Good reflexes. Now don't let me see you near Mr. Stone again. Or next time, you won't get your camera back.
Nino frowned. "Now she's kind of harsh."
Rose nodded. "Yeah that was really mean."
Marinette sighed. "People in Paris should really be nicer to each other….that's what I've realized from watching all this."
Adrien nodded. "They should also be aware that negative emotions cause akuma attacks, so they should be nice."
"This is the world, get used to it," said Chloe.
Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.
Hawk Moth: (His window opens) I sense brewing anger and frustration. Perfect father for my evil little akumas. It won't be long now. (turns a butterfly into an akuma) Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize him!
The streets. Vincent Aza is upset about not getting his photo. The akuma enters his camera and evilizes him.
Hawk Moth: Pixelator, I am Hawk Moth. I'm giving you the power to capture your hero's smile, forever. But in return, you'll need to do some capturing for me as well.
Vincent: Yes, Hawk Moth. (Turns into the Pixelator)
"The guy would ruin anyone's life to get what he wants," Marinette scowled.
Scene: Le Grand Paris. Jagged Stone and Fang go into the elevator, Mr. Bourgeois greets them.
Ms. Bustier: Mr. Bourgeois, you haven't told Marinette what job she'll be doing.
Mr. Bourgeois: (checks the list) Ah, yes. Of course, Marinette. Gopher. I've got a job for you already, Marinette.
"I'm guessing that's as bad as trash duty," Alix sighed.
Marinette shrugged. "Actually, it's not. I don't know what Chloe was going for but it was actually kind of fun."
Alya: Gopher? What's that?
Marinette: I'm guessing it's about as bad as trash duty.
"Hey, that's what I said!"
Scene: A luxurious suite. Jagged Stone plays with Fang.
Penny: Mr. Stone is going to need a new pair of shades for tonight's gig. Red, white and blue with two large Eiffel Towers on them. Can you get that for him?
Mr. Bourgeois: Of course we can! Marinette here is our gopher. She'll take care of that for you.
Marinette: Huh?
Mr. Bourgeois: A gopher is an employee who goes for anything a customer needs. Anything at all. So go ahead. Goph!
Marinette snorted. "Were you expecting me to be overloaded with so much work that I'd be running place to place?"
"That was the intention," Chloe admitted. "But clearly, it didn't work."
Scene: The Eiffel Tower. Marinette buys a pair of shades with Eiffel Towers on them.
Marinette: These should do the trick. Now I can get back to the hotel and hang with Adrien! Ugh... And Chloé.
Adrien looked amused. "You should do it correctly the first time."
"He's right," Tikki agreed. "You're a bit too focused on Adrien...it's better to do it right the first time, like I said."
Tikki: You know these aren't even close to what Mr. Stone wants.
Marinette: What do you mean, Tikki? There's some red and white on it, and two little Eiffel Towers.
"That is not the lazy Marinette I know," Adrien smirked.
"It didn't work out at the end, so don't sound surprised," said Marinette.
Tikki: Just saying, it's better in a long run to do it right the first time.
"Tikki," said Adrien. "You speak wise words."
Tikki smiled. "Thanks."
(A woman and her daughter spot Tikki and gape at her.)
Tikki: (nervously) Meow.
"Meow?" Adrien looked like he was trying hard not to laugh. "I guess Tikki could pass for a cat…"
"How often does this happen?" Alya laughed. "I'm guessing you're not always ultra-careful."
"I try at least," said Marinette.
Scene: Le Grand Paris. Jagged Stone sees the shades Marinette bought. But they aren't the right shades.
Jagged Stone: Where are the Eiffel Towers?
Marinette: Um... here.
Jagged Stone: This is a joke, right? What are you doing, trying to ruin my career?
Marinette: But, Mr. Stone, the glasses you want don't exist!
Jagged Stone: Do I look like I care? Just get me those sunglasses! (slams door)
Everyone winced.
"Oof," Adrien gave her a sympathetic look.
Marinette: Great. I'm gonna have to spend even more time away from Adrien!
Tikki: That's what I've been trying to tell you! Just do it right the first time.
"Why are you so eager to be around me anyways?" Adrien raised his eyebrows.
"Um, I don't know," Marinette scoffed. "Maybe because I had a huge, stalker-like crush on you?"
Marinette: Yeah... You're right, Tikki. I get it now.
Tikki: Those sunglasses exist somewhere... Get creative!
Marinette: ...Of course! (Runs to the exit)
"Just make them," Chloe said.
"It's not that easy...of course, you wouldn't understand since you were just flirting with Adrien the whole time," Marinette teased.
Chloé: Failed as a gopher already? Not surprised. Don't let the door hit you on the way out!
Marinette scowled. "That's easy for you to say!"
(Marinette exits the hotel. Pixelator goes into the hotel.)
Worker: Excuse me sir, can I help you?
Pixelator: Look into the lens...
(Kim and the worker look into the lens and smile. Pixelator zaps them and digitizes them)
"I thought they were supposed to be GUARDS! They can't just…" Chloe shook her head. "Ugh, that guy is SO fired."
Pixelator: Photo finish.
Chloé: Oh, look what the cat dragged in.
"That's my line, Chloe," Adrien joked. Marinette giggled.
"Oh, shut up.." Chloe rolled her eyes.
Chloe: Let me handle this, Adrien. Watch and learn. (Goes to where the Pixelator is) Excuse me... Excuse me! You can't be a guest at this hotel! My father only allows the most important celebrities. Like me.
"Chloe," Kim shook his head. "How can you NOT tell that's a supervillain?"
"Says the guy who looked into the lens," Chloe snapped. Kim blushed.
(Adrien is mad at Chloé because her father allows the most important celebrities stay at the hotel)
Pixelator: Well then, I am Pixelator. Your number one fan.
Chloé: Moi? Oh, my, you're flattering me. Keep going.
"Isn't it obvious he's trying to..you know what, never mind," said Alya. "Chloe would neven miss an opportunity to impress a 'fan'."
Pixelator: A photo of you, sweet miss...
Chloé: Chloé, of course.
Adrien: Look out, Chloé!
"Someone's not so dumb anymore," Marinette teased.
"Meow-ch! You wound me, M'lady," Adrien pretended to be offended.
Pixelator: Look into the lens, miss!
(Adrien pushes Chloé, but the two get zapped by Pixelator)
Adrien: What the...
Chloé: What just happened?
Adrien: I think we've been like... digitized or something.
Chloé: What do you mean, digitized?
Adrien: I don't really know, but I don't think it's a good thing.
"So THAT'S where you two were," Marinette laughed. "And here I was, thinking you had gone off to do something fun."
Chloe raised her eyebrows. Marinette rolled her eyes.
Chloé: Well, I can fix this. Leave it to me. (calls Mr. Bourgeois with her phone) Daddy?... Daddy... Daddy?!
"Too bad Daddy isn't here to save you this time," Alya teased.
Scene: Dupain-Cheng House. Marinette's room. Marinette tries to find something.
Marinette: Where did I put them... Oh! (gets an old pair of shades) Voila!
"Um," Alix frowned. "No offense, but those look even less like the one he wants than the other one."
"I'm not done yet," Marinette promised.
Tikki: But they're pink.
Marinette: They won't be when I'm done with them. This is either gonna be the most amazing pair or the ugliest pair of shades in shades history. Ms. Bustier is grading me on effort, right?
Tikki: Don't worry, I'm sure Jagged Stone will love them!
(Marinette takes the lens out of the shades)
Tikki: Or hate them.
"He loves them," Adrien smiled.
(Meanwhile, Adrien and Chloé are still stuck in a blank space)
Chloé: Ugh! I still can't get through to Daddy! How can there be no cell reception here? Ridiculous!
"That's really what you're concerned about?" Marinette sighed.
"No cell reception is worse than a bad hair day!" Chloe groaned.
Adrien: It just goes on forever. No doors, no walls, no nothing...
Chloé: You mean we're stuck here? Just... just the two of us?
"Hoping to have some fun, Chloe?" Alya smirked.
Chloe's cheeks reddened. "No…"
Marinette raised her eyebrows. "Nothing happened there, did it?" She tried not to laugh at the look on Chloe's face. Toying with Chloe was so much fun.
"Um..like I'm telling you."
"No, she was just really annoying," Adrien confessed.
Adrien: Uh, no. There's gotta be a way out somewhere. (Sees Chloé hugging him) I hope…
Chloe gave him a grudging smile. "I can't really argue with that anymore, Adrien.."
Scene: Le Grand Paris. Marinette enters the hotel, looking for Adrien and Chloé.
Marinette: Adrien? Chloé? Ughh! I bet those two have gone off together somewhere fun! Hmph! And now I'm here all alone without Adrien…
"Somewhere REALLY fun, yeah," Adrien joked.
"How was I supposed to know?" Marinette asked.
Tikki: Marinette, snap out of it, let's just focus on getting Mr. Stone's glasses for now, okay?
"We all need a Tikki in our lives," Alix sighed.
Mylene nodded. "Definitely."
you know, I was rewatching Pixelator yesterday (again, I know XD) and when Chloe said "You mean..just you and me?" I almost choked on my fruit punch-
I was like, "OMG what would marinette have done if had seen this?" then I immedietly thought about this fanfic and I'm like "well...it's up to me to humiliate chloe again"
