(Note from writer: I've been on hiatus for what feels like a million years. Also, I didn't really give my all for this one, even hesitant to post it.)

"The Bottomless Pit?" Steven asked, staring into the deep hole. "Yeah! We fell in there once!" Mabel said, a little too enthusiastic. "Well, it's not really bottomless. Everything that goes in there eventually comes out." Dipper said. "Hey, didn't you throw the journals in there?" Mabel asked. "Oh yeah! You were telling me about these journals before." Steven said. Dipper pulls out journal 3 from his inside vest pocket. "We threw all three journals at the end of last Summer. Only number three has shown up." Dipper said. "Maybe someone took it." Mabel said. Steven peered into the deep hole, he saw something coming up. "Hey, what is that?" he asked. Whatever came out of the pit hit Steven in the face, startled him so bad that his bubble powers activated. "Steven! Are you ok?" Dipper and Mabel asked. "Owww…" Steven said, rubbing his forehead. "Well… at least you have this cute hamster ball around you!" Mabel said. Dipper looked around and saw two familiar books. He turned them around and saw the numbers 1 and 2. They were the other two journals.

"Well, that was...too convenient." Dipper said. "What?" Steven asked, getting rid of the bubble around him. "Ooh! It's like the writer is wanting us to have these now for the sake of the plot!" Mabel said. "Writer?" Dipper asked, very confused. "Never mind." Mabel said. (Note from writer: Mabel, have you been drinking 4th wall juice?) "Hey, now I can look at the journal pages that were revived during Weirdmaggedon!" Dipper said. "What's-" Steven asked, before being interrupted by Mabel. "Long story." Mabel said. Dipper flipped through the pages. He stopped at a certain page in the first journal. He read through the page. "Rose Quartz is one of the most interesting beings I've met." Dipper read.

"Wait, Mom?" Steven asked. Steven scanned the page. It was filled with notes and drawings. "Didn't you say Rose Quartz was your mom?" Mabel asked. "Wait, so Ford knew her?" Dipper said. "I guess so! But, nobody ever told me about him!" Steven said. Dipper kept reading. "All gems have certain powers, though fusion is very fascinating." Dipper skimmed to the last sentence. "One thing is certain though. Humans cannot fuse." Dipper read. Mabel smirked. "We don't know if that's entirely sure." Mabel said, nugging her brother. Steven chucked at Mabel's remark.

"There is a whole section on gems!" Dipper said. "Oh, hey! It's Pearl!" Mabel said, pointing at a sketch of the white gem. Steven looked up. The sun was starting to set. "We should probably go now. It's getting dark." Steven said. "Aww. Ok." Mabel said. "Hey, do you think we should tell Ford?" Dipper asked. "Not now. Let's wait a little bit. It may come in handy." Steven said.

Note from writer: Hello fellow humans. Finally. I finished. This one personally turned out meh. But, I am really excited to write the next one. Stay tuned!
