(A/N: This might have some contradictions from previous chapters. I have to reread the story then possibly rewrite this, but I didn't want to leave you guys without another chapter :))

They sat staring at each other for a very long time. James and Lily sat on chairs facing the two boys as they sat on the sofa. Harry couldn't help but stare at Lily, it was her eyes, they'd locked him in. There was a strange warmth in her gaze, like she was filling his entire soul with a calming drought just by using her eyes. If this was Harry's real mother, he would not question it because obviously she was the most powerful witch in the world.

Then he looked at her belly, the weird connection he had with it was slightly unnerving to him. He did not like children but this baby was different. He'd saved it from Bellatrix and for what? Why did he feel an innate need to protect this child? Lily noticed him looking at her belly and cupped it protectively, not knowing Harry would never hurt it.

"Harry…" James said softly, Harry's numb eyes turned to him, it was like looking in a mirror.

"Hmm?" Harry replied casually.

"Forgive me if I'm being a rude host but after everything me and Lily have gone through, you'd understand if we were a bit apprehensive at the moment… Mainly that we can't prove you are someone in disguise."

"It's him James… I can tell…" Lily whispered, looking into her son's eyes again. She knew, just with a look she knew that was her son. This was the first time ever that the entire Potter family were in their home.

"Keen eyes, this one" Harry smirked handsomely, "You're both probably wondering why I'm here."

"We don't care," Lily told him, eyes welling up with tears. "We're just happy you're finally home, Harry James Potter." A cool chill spread throughout Harry's body, he felt as though he may cry himself if he didn't need to keep his composure. Instead he cleared his throat loudly and turned to Draco, who knew he needed to speak now.

"Sirius Black told us so much, we came to fact check some things."

"It's very late though, maybe-maybe you two ought to just stay the night and we could talk about things in the morning?" James suggested.

"I agree, you boys look so weary." Lily chimed in.

"We are very busy I'm afraid, but what a lovely gesture," Draco went on.

"Oh...Very well then." Lily said slightly sadly, she then locked eyes with Harry, who shifted uncomfortably. There was something very powerful about this witch, nobody was able to make Harry feel the way she did, he stroked his left arm absentmindedly.

"Erm… Okay so-"

Before Harry could speak there was a strange knock at the door, James stood immediately while Lily struggled to get up. Harry lurched suddenly, feeling like he could help her but then stopped himself immediately. James whispered into the door something the boys could not hear then opened it.

"You" Harry growled as soon as he saw the lanky man walk into the room.

"Oh yeah, that's my son" James smirked, watching Harry's reaction as he made his way back to his seat. Severus Snape made his appearance into the home.

"You…" Snape snarled back, although he looked a bit frightened by the sight of Harry. "What are you doing here?"

"I would ask you the same but I simply don't care." Harry retorted, Snape drew a deep breath, he absolutely loathed this boy.

"Well, lucky for me you are here, I can kill two birds with one stone…" Although Harry was sure Snape did not mean that literally, his heart still skipped a beat, there was no way Snape was onto him.

"Easy trip Severus?" Lily asked, trying to be cordial.

"As easy as it gets…"

"To what honor do we owe you for this late meeting?" James said sarcastically. Before Snape could answer, Harry spoke up

"You actually trust this man, are you daft?" He clenched his fists, there was nothing more cowardly to him than a traitor, and Snape was the ultimate traitor.

"Harry! Don't be rude you're a guest," Draco gripped his arm.

"I'm just asking! You can't this man, he's for everybody. He's on everybody's side and the second you turn your back he's got his wand against it."

Snape's face remained unchanged, uncaring; "Seemingly, you can't trust this "man" either, because the second you turn your back he'll have intercourse on your desk with the school tramp."

James and Lily's eyes widened looking from Snape to Harry, Harry smiled, all the while looking Snape in the eyes.

"Bet you liked that didn't you?"

"Enough" Draco chimed in, "This is not what we're here for."

"He's right. although Draco this does not concern you and you will stay quiet, or else I'll reveal the real reason your father kicked you out..."

"All of my business is his as well." Harry said through gritted teeth, Snap rolled his eyes.

"Very well then! Can we get on with this Severus? It's getting later and later" James silenced the lot of them, noticing Lily becoming more and more fatigued even while sitting.

"Very well.." Snape began, "I came to talk to James and Lily today, and find Harry another day but oh my lucky day I found the whole family under one roof. Dumbledore wants Harry to return to Hogwarts. And, James and Lily, he wanted to let you two know that and to call off the search for him at the moment… Guess we are a little late on that part. So Harry, you are to return to Hogwarts for your sixth year as a student, there is no other option."
The room went silent as they all took in this sentiment.

"This is unusual, Harry with nothing to say?" Snape said curtly, watching Harry, whose jaw was stuck open.

"Oh yeah, I do have something to say, fuck off!" Harry responded, looking disgusted at the idea of returning to Hogwarts. James was taken aback, it was like staring to a portal to the past. Without even knowing him, Harry had taken on his full attitude, he was impressed.

"You kiss your mother with that mouth?" Snape glared at the boy.

"Yeah, which one? You prat, how can you expect me to trust you? All the while you've known everything about me and you've hidden it from me?"

"Then maybe don't trust me, trust Albus Dumbledore, this was all his idea"

"Dumbledore? He thinks it's a good idea putting Harry's life at stake going back. Why doesn't he just stay here, it's safer. Students there have to know what happened in the Ministry by now, Harry will be a target!" Lily fought, Harry was surprised by her vigor, she was passionate about protecting him?

"No it's not. The second the Dark Lord finds out Harry knows about you two Harry is as good as dead," Snape informed them.

"I'd like to see him try, I just took him down, and I know you know that," Harry said smugly.

"Your father also has a team of people willing to kill you at any time. You're not the golden heir anymore Harry, the Death Eaters are more loyal to your father than they ever will be to you. They were only ever loyal to you because he said so. You can be a target at any time... and you know that, remember the woods?"

Harry glared at Snape, "Say I do go back, what's in it for me?"

"Protection, Hogwarts is the safest place in the wizard world. And specific time with Dumbledore, he requested special lessons with you..."

Harry looked over to Draco, they agreed on something without words.

"I want total immunity to do whatever I want, I don't want detentions, I will not be expelled, and I will not attend all my classes. Neither will Draco, or anyone with me."

Snape rolled his eyes, "I can see what can be arranged..."

"Very well then... It's late, Harry and Draco, maybe it would be best that you stay for the night? Its dangerous to go out in the night." Lily offered, giving up seemingly too easy.

"All due respect Lily, I am what's dangerous in the night," Harry told her, Draco nodded agreeing.

"Oh so clever, maybe you should listen to her, mother does know best." Snape said with a bi of sass, Harry was just about done with him.

Draco tugged secretly at Harry's robes, "Yes, Harry, maybe we should stay the night," he said through gritted teeth.

Harry nodded slowly and knowingly, "Thank you for the courtesy of opening your home to us Lily and James. We are very tired and would like some rest..."

After James showed the boys where they would be sleeping, the adults stayed in the living-room talking. Harry did not care what they were talking about, his plan had been ruined.

Harry paced the guest room floor, "Fucking Snape, coming in and ruining everything, all the time!"

"What're we going to do? We can't stay here, the spell is going to wear off Bellatrix by morning."

"You think I don't know that? We are not staying here."

"But what about the information?"

"Forget the information, its obvious we aren't getting shit out of Lily and James... We will just have to go with the final portion of the plan... When you see the Dark Mark start running. I will meet you by those abandoned train tracks we saw on the way here, give me your wand."

Draco, without hesitation, handed over the wand, Harry stuffed it in his robes. He put his ear to the door, it was silent besides a door shutting. He stood very still for what felt like forever, there was one set of footsteps coming up the stairs while the sink in the kitchen below them began to run. Harry placed his hand on the doorknob.

"Be careful alright?" Draco said, concerned but not afraid.

"I'm not scared of them, as powerful as they are, I'm more powerful than anyone..." Harry said darkly. He quietly opened the door and sneaked out of the room. He made no noise as he made his way into the kitchen. As he rounded the corner to the opening he saw a length of fiery red hair, humming in front of the sink.

"You're still up?" she asked without turning around. How did she hear him? He was practically floating.

"I couldn't sleep..." Harry said slowly, still walking towards her, although scared that she could sense him, she was more powerful than he even thought.

"What's keeping you up?" Lily asked nicely, then she stopped cold. She felt the tip of a wand digging into the back of her neck, her son's voice whispered in her ear, "A mission."

She placed one hand on her protruding belly and the other on the side of the sink.

"Oh Harry..." she whispered, starting to feel the wand burn her.

"I'm sorry... Mum."
