Also, I said in the notes last chapter that Casey's birthday would be this chapter instead I meant to put the next day as this is still Day 4 so, until day 5 he won't have his birthday. Anyway, here's the next chapter which is still day 4.
Meanwhile…
Summer Bay – Tony and Rachel's house – Living Room/Kitchen
While both Brax and Alf where running round looking for Heath, Sally and Cassie had just arrived at Tony and Rachel's house.
Knocking on the open door, Sally said: "Hey, fancy some visitors?"
"Of course, come in. How are you Cassie?" Tony said as Rachel moved around in the Kitchen "Matilda is in her room if you want to go through."
"I'm okay thanks Tony. I was wanting to speak to Rachel first if that was ok?" Cassie asked as she looked towards the kitchen.
Tony nodded in response and Cassie then walked towards the kitchen.
"Hi Rachel, how are you?" Cassie asks the doctor.
"I'm ok thanks but to be honest I'm not really wanting to see anyone at the moment but I'm sure Matilda would be happy to see you." Rachel replied.
Right on que, Matilda entered the room.
"Cassie, what are you doing here?" Matilda quizzed her best friend.
"Well, I just got discharged so I thought I would come and see how you were doing." Cassie replied "Also, I have something I wanted to ask you."
"Me?"
Cassie asked with a smile: "Yeah you, can we go to your room?"
"Sure." Matilda said.
With that the two girls leave the room as Tony and Sally both just watch Rachel moving around the kitchen.
A couple mins later…
Summer Bay – Tony and Rachel's House – Matilda's Room
Sitting on her bed, Matilda just looked at Cassie as she waited for the teen to speak.
"I have something big to ask you and you don't have to say yes if you don't want to." Cassie said to her friend "Me and Rocco were going to ask you all at the baby shower, but I think I should ask you now."
"Okay, ask away." Matilda replied.
"We had been thinking about who we wanted to look after the baby if anything were to ever happen to us and now with everything that's happened it seems like the best time."
"Spit it out Cass, we haven't got all day." Matilda said causing both girls to laugh.
"Ok, miss impatient. I want to ask you if you would be the one of the baby's godmothers."
"YES!" Matilda yelled without a second thought.
Laughing Cassie said: "Really?"
"Of course, I would love to be but who are the other godparents going to be?"
"Well, Belle would obviously be the other godmother and for the godfathers we were going to ask both Ric and Kyle."
"You know they're all going to say yes right."
"Well, I already asked Ric yesterday and he said yes. I'm just hoping that Rocco has asked the other two wherever they are." Cassie said as she looked down at her bracelet that Rocco had got here.
Moving over to her friend and making sure not to knock her burns, Matilda told her as she pulled Cassie into a hug: "Hey, they are going to be okay. They'll be home before we know it."
"I hope so, I just miss Rocco so much." Cassie says as she starts to sob "I never had to think from the start that I would ever do this without him but now I need to start considering that."
"And you won't have to, as you have me and Ric here plus the others."
"I know I do but it's not the same as having my boyfriend by my side. Although, Heath was a great help while I was in the hospital."
"I heard about that." Matilda said to her "I guess it could be the start of a great friendship between the two of you."
"Doubt he'll want to be friends with a teenager, but it's nice to know we can help each other right now." Cassie replies.
With that the two teens go back to talking about Matilda being a godmother to the baby.
(12:19pm) 15 minutes later…
In the Middle of the Bush – Crash Site
"Rocco, you really got to try and keep this cleaner. If this burn gets infected out here, there's not much we can do for it." Colby said as he finished checking Rocco's arm.
"Next time I'll remember to pack my soap." Rocco joked as he said it "Anyway, how's my leg? It's looking a bit oozie."
Colby started to take a look at the teen's leg which had been cut in the crash.
"What about my arm?" Belle whined causing everyone to look at her "It's killing me."
"Go on, before princess Belle starts having another one of her tantrums." Rocco sighed causing Belle to roll her eyes from where she was stood.
Colby got up and grabbed the paracetamol that had been in the first aid kit on the chopper. Taking one out, he handed it to the girl.
"Here." Colby said.
Looking at the one single tablet in her hand, Belle complained: "One?"
"Bianca, told you before we don't have much left Belle."
"She were talking about food."
"She was talking about everything." Colby pointed out.
Looking down at her arm, Belle said: "But my arm is broken."
"Yeah well, so it my wrist." said Bianca as she stood up from where she was sitting and joined them "And Rocco has a massive cut on his leg. Xavier has bruises all over his body and Kyle isn't feeling well either, but do you hear any of us complaining?"
"Why don't you just stay out of it?" Belle shouted at her.
"Hey, why don't you just grow up Belle?" Rocco asked her as he was getting sick of his friend acting like a toddler.
Walking over to them all, Ryan told them: "At the rate you lot are going even if they do find us out here, they'll damn well leave us here."
"They're never gonna find us." Belle spat out.
"Don't say that." Colby told her not wanting the hope of being found to fade.
"Well it's true Colby. How much longer do we have to stand around here doing nothing?!"
"We're not doing nothing." Ryan told her "We're doing exactly what were supposed to do, which is staying with the wreckage."
"Oh, because that's really been working for us so far Ryan." Belle said back to the pilot who just shook his head "We should go and look for help."
The argument causes both Kyle and Xavier to get up from where they had been sat to join the others, as they felt that they might miss something important.
Colby looks at Bianca as Belle says that. Nodding her head at the cop, Colby replies: "Maybe she's right Ryan."
"Are you serious?" Ryan questioned the man.
"Well Mr Copper, I'd have thought that you would know that you are better off staying with the wreckage just like I was taught in my training to be a pilot." Ryan pointed out.
"Yeah well not if means starving or dropping off from septicaemia." Colby says which makes everyone go silent "Look, the fact is they might never find us out here. It's been over four days already and that leads me to think that they're not even looking in the right area. So, me and Bianca reckon that it's time we started helping ourselves."
"No, it's a mistake." Ryan replies thinking he knows what's best.
"Well, who says that you even have to come with us?" Kyle asks the man as he was getting sick of him thinking that he knew better than the rest of them "No one says we have to stick together."
"Yes of course we do, kid!"
"Kyle. My name is Kyle you idiot!" Kyle yells at him.
"Kyle stop!" Bianca tells him as she was worried, he'd get too worked up and something might happen.
Ryan just looks at Kyle then continues to speak: "Look, splitting up is not an option and I still say that we stay where we are."
Everyone just looks at Ryan until Xavier says: "I agree with Ryan."
The others just look at him in shock as they weren't expecting him to say that.
"Xavier, if we stay here we might end up never going home. That means you won't to see your family or April again." Bianca explains to him trying to convince the teen they should leave.
"But they always say to stay with the wreckage Bianca and personally I'm going to trust the experienced pilot over a head teacher and a cop." Xavier says.
"Well look at that, I don't think one of them agrees with you." Ryan says walking up to Colby and looking him in the eyes "So, it looks like we are going to have to talk about it doesn't it?"
Everyone looks between the pair not knowing what to say as both Colby and Ryan weren't backing down on their idea on what they should all do.
