Victor pulled his hands from the Professor's neck, his nails shrinking, he ran a hand through his blonde hair. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that." He smiled sadistically. Jean could tell, even without reading his mind, which was a place she didn't want to be, mind.
The Phoenix Force was itching to break free and burn this Victor alive but she held it back. It hurt, holding back such a mighty power but she did.
Logan grunted from the floor, Jean hadn't even watched him fall. He got up, blood dribbling hard from five wounds on his neck that no longer existed. He rubbed it away with his fingers. "Now you're tryna' tick me off Victor." He said, straightening out to his terrifying height. What was scarier was that he was shorter than Victor. Victor bared his fangs at Logan. "Heads off Jimmy." He swiped a paw like hand at Logan's head and if Logan didn't duck with incredible speeds, he'd be dead. Jean didn't want to think about the details. "And that's why Stryker called me the Wolverine, bub." Logan growled, claws extending from his knuckles. Jean cried out as a shock of pain made its way through her being. Scott caught her as she fell but Jean wasn't in control anymore.

Jean's pain seemed to remind the giant that we were here but just as he swung his head around, Jean swiped her hand and Victor shot into a wall, crumpling on impact. Fisk opened his mouth to cry out, yell, scream, any of the above, when Jean directed a terrifying look at him. He slouched back in his chair and pressed his fingers together. "JIMMY FOR THE WIN!" Bobby shouted loudly as Logan glared. "Goodbye Mister Fisk, I'll be seeing you soon." Logan growled. Scott may not have had a soft spot for Logan but that was pretty bad ass.

When the group arrived at the mansion, Logan stormed of to Chuck's office. He burst the doors open to find the Principal playing chess with himself. He moved a white pawn, one more move would equal a checkmate, Logan realised. Before Xavier could move his next black piece, Logan swiped them all off the board. "Hello to you to Logan." Charles nodded.
"You sent us off to be slaughtered," Logan grimaced, "You want humans and mutants to coexist so badly that you didn't hesitate sending us to the President, who was almost charged with how many crimes?"
"Ah."
"Ah? That's all you have to say for yourself, bub?"
Xavier looked at Logan with a level head. "I'm thinking."
