Back with Miles...
The boy was still running through the jungle, trying to find Numbah 4 around here, before it was too late. He felt like the volcano was going to literately erupt any minute now, and most likely destroy everything out here. The only thing that made this entire place difficult to navigate through was the fact that almost the entire jungle looked the same to Miles. There was literately no spot to know where he has been or not.
But thankfully for him, one spot stood out to him, and it was coming up to him at a fast rate. It was a sign with a lot of directions to different places around the entire jungle. One way said 'Volcano', the last path Miles even wants to go down, considering it's too dangerous. The second sign says 'Tiger Cave', Miles doubts he even wants to go that way either, considering that THAT sounds like a fate worse than the volcano itself. Thankfully, the third sign said 'Station', which might be where Miles could find himself a person to talk to, or Numbah 4. So he took the third path.
After a bit of a run, Miles finally got to what appears to be an abandoned station of some kind. The windows were broken, the door was busted open, and there appeared to be some broken golf carts outside as well. Miles didn't know if Wally did all of that, or that was like that before. Either one wouldn't surprise him at all.
"Ah crap! This place seriously has no candy bars in them?! I can't believe that this entire place has one vending machine, and it's empty!" That was Wally's voice coming from the station.
Miles knew he found the tough one of Sector V. He looked both ways around the spot he was staying low in, before he could dash towards the station to find the boy in there. Once he believes that the coast was clear, he made a straight dash towards the building. But before he could get inside that building...
"It's the boy!" An alien's voice said from nearby.
"Which one?!" Another one said.
"The one who escaped moments ago. He is here to free Wally! We must stop him before he frees him!"
"Crap!" Miles shouts, before he started to run towards the station again.
The boy was booking it straight towards the door, avoiding any blast that the aliens send towards him. Thankfully, the blasts only got the broken golf carts that he is jumping through. Once he made it to the door, Miles hops right through, just as a blast was heard flying straight at him.
The blast dodges him, hitting a chair instead of the human. Considering that the aliens were coming towards the station slowly, this gave Miles enough time to push a nearby bookshelf in front of the opening on the wall, keeping the aliens from coming in. Or, considering that they have those weapons still, give him enough time to find Numbah 4.
"Ah...this is just great..." The teenage Australian boy said, walking down the stairs. "...I found myself stuck out here in a jungle, and I can't find a bite to eat. This feels like us stuck in that asparagus ocean spot all over again..." That was when the Australian noticed Miles at the bottom of the stairs. "Oh, Miles? How did you end up out here too? I thought all of us got captured!"
"Still remember that too, huh?" Miles asked. "What? Do you think we just...happened to escaped those aliens without even noticing?"
"Yeah...I-I think."
"Well, funny you should say that...uh..." Miles's face went from a smile to a frown. "...This is actually a dream that you can't wake from, so the only thing that I can do is bring you out of here by finding a door that says 'Wake Up'. By the way, Earth is destroyed." Miles said all of that, quick and blunt, causing the still smiling Numbah 4 to immediately look at him in shock.
"EARTH IS WHAT?!" Numbah 4 shouts, completely dumbfounded.
"Yeah, I had a feeling that would be your reaction!" The sound of the aliens attempting to kick down the bookshelf was heard behind Miles. "But no time to think more deep into this. We got to get out of here!"
"Garage, now!"
"Why?!"
"Just trust me!"
The two ran straight into the garage, hiding inside of it, just as the aliens busted through the bookshelf. The aliens looked around, trying to find Miles, only to see that the boy, as well as Numbah 4, have disappeared. They began to check around the station, unaware that the two boys were inside the garage area right now.
Inside the garage now, Miles and Wally were keeping themselves hidden from the sights of the other aliens. The duo were left in there, along with a couple other golf carts, all of which appear to be just as broken as the other ones outside. However, only one appears to be working. This gave Wally an idea.
"Hey, do you know how to drive?" Wally asked him.
"N-No. I don't. Why?" Miles asked him.
"Listen, just take these keys that I found in the office upstairs." Wally hands the boy the keys that he was referring to, before picking up the nearby boombox off of the counter nearby. "I need to bring this for a very important thing to do."
"...That is?"
"Look, just shut up and follow my lead, okay? I know what I'm doing."
Outside the station, some of the aliens in that group were waiting for the rest to come out, with Miles. The ones outside were starting to get impatient with the ones inside. They had no idea what was taking so long, considering that it was just a small station with nothing that would be useful to Miles or Wally.
"Those buffoons are taking forever." One alien says out of annoyance. "How are we suppose to make sure that these operatives stay secure in these imaginations if that boy with the flannel jacket is still free, letting the other loose?! Nigel Uno's plan is going to fail is this keeps up." Another alien, who appears to be the leader of this small group, looks to the one who was complaining.
"Don't get your mind into so much pain alright now. We have enough soldiers to go and get the buffoon with the jacket out." The leader said.
The group fell silent, yet still unhappy with how long all of this is taking to get just one boy out of that station. They weren't looking for Numbah 4, but sure hoped that he didn't catch onto what is happening right now. All they hoped for was that Miles is telling him all of what happened, only to be brushed off.
Without warning, the sound of an engine was heard inside the garage area nearby. The aliens were caught off-guard by that, as well as the song of a familiar sounding song that was starting up. The group looked over to the garage doors, before they held out their weapons, ready to suck Miles into one of their container weapons.
"If you are the human boy...with the blonde hair...we mean you no harm. If you are that human boy with the brown hair...surrender...right...now..." The leader of this alien group demanded, stepping closer to the garage door, ready to press the button on the side of it.
"Oh, it's just me. Don't worry about whoever you're talking about. It turns out...he may or may not be here." Wally's voice said inside the garage. The aliens appeared to be letting their guard down.
"It is only Numbah 4...I knew we were here for no reason..."
"Oh, actually, you guys came here just in time!" Miles's voice shouts from inside the garage as well, causing the other aliens to be surprised by that. "You want to know why?!"
"Don't ask him why, men!" The leader alien shouts, before holding up his weapon. "Stand your ground, right..."
"STEP ON IT, MILES!" Wally shouts inside the garage.
"WHAT THE?!"
Without warning, the golf cart that was the only one that worked, broke right through the garage door. The duo had 'Welcome to the Jungle' by Guns n' Roses blasting through the boom-box that Numbah 4 felt like bringing along with him. Miles was driving the cart, while Numbah 4 was on top of the vehicle's roof, holding onto the sides of it, holding a M.U.S.K.E.T. while he was up there.
Miles turns the vehicle over to the forest, keeping the cart on the path, as he tried to get away from the other aliens. As Numbah 4 was blasting his 2x4 weapon at the other aliens, Miles kept his eyes on the path, only to glance over at the aliens who they passed by for a couple seconds. Some were defeated by them after they got out of that garage. However, it seems like the leader wasn't defeated yet.
With the sound of a whistle, Miles looks forward, seeing what appeared to be some sort of mutant that looks like a mammoth was coming forward towards them, with alien soldiers riding on it. The boy was moves the wheel to the left, dodging the mammoth in time, passing by to go deeper into the jungle to escape.
"You think you've escaped, but we have more coming your way!" An alien voice shouts from behind him.
"He's not kidding!" Miles shouts, pointing forward. More of those creatures were coming right towards them right now. "Uh, Numbah 4! Do you have a plan here?!"
"Watch and learn, my friend!" Wally shouts, just as he was lowering himself down.
Wally leaps off of the golf cart, onto one of the mutants. Miles looks behind himself, seeing Wally fight off one group of soldiers. He turns the cart back around so that he can stay near Wally at all costs.
"Are you insane, Wally?!" Miles shouts, looking up at the boy attacking a group of the alien soldiers. "I'm trying to get you out of here alive, not dead!" An alien soldier lands on top of the golf cart, completely defeated by Numbah 4. "Watch where you're throwing those guys!"
"Sorry, got to keep these guys from catching up to us somehow!" Wally shouts, just as Miles was turning back around to face the other direction. "Come on, let's get out of here!"
Wally hops back onto the golf cart. Miles nearly lost control of the vehicle once Wally hopped on top of it, but was able to keep control of it once he was on the path again. The blonde looks forward, wondering where the location is to wake himself up.
"So...this door thing you mentioned! Where is it?!" Wally shouts, looking down into the golf cart, hoping Miles knows where the location is. The boy looks behind himself, before looking forward again.
"Truthfully, I don't know!" Miles shouts, looking up. "If you ask me, I think we're going to have to be lucky enough to find it! This place is huge, but..."
Miles looks down towards the path, before noticing that there was a cliff coming towards their direction. The boy's eyes widened in horror, unable to stop the vehicle before it was too late. He had to take a leap of faith and hope that they survive at this point. He closes his eyes, slamming his foot on the pedal as the golf cart drives forward even more faster than ever.
The golf cart flew off of the cliff...
Everything felt like slow motion to Miles, looking left, then right, hoping that this was not how he was going to die...
Not in some jungle in some guy's imagination...
Closing his eyes, he hoped for the best...
Silence was all he heard after that...
After hearing nothing but silence for the last few seconds, Miles could only think the worse actually did happen. He felt nothing, and he didn't feel like he was dead. Did his death really coming at him that fast? Fast enough that he couldn't even feel it? The boy opened his eyes, hoping that he was okay.
Thankfully for him, the two have made it over to the other side of the abyss that was keeping them, from those other GKND aliens. Except for the radio that Numbah 4 brought along with him, that fell deep into the abyss below. Miles got off of the golf cart, looking across the trench, seeing the aliens waving their fists at him and Wally. It seems like they were safe from those guys.
Also, it seems like Miles and Wally got away from the volcano right on time, because it was just erupting right now. This caused the aliens to look towards it, before running off in fear. Miles and Wally were safe from the volcano as well.
"Well...that was close..." Miles said. "...Now we can continue finding the 'Wake Up' door. Am I right, Wally?" Miles heard no answer. "Wally?"
"I found it!" Wally shouts, pointing towards the large tree behind him.
Miles looks behind himself, seeing the 'Wake Up' door was attached to a giant tree that was behind them. The boy smiled, before walking to the side of the Australian boy, seeing that they successfully found the door so that Wally can finally escape this imagination, once and for all.
"Well...that was easy." Miles said. "Well, you should go through it. Wake up from this nightmare."
"What about you?" Wally asked.
"I'll return to some hallway that allows me and Julia to try to pick who we should get out of here next." Wally was confused, considering Miles was here by himself. "Oh, Julia? My sister? She's trying to get Kuki out of her imagination. I can only imagine that unlike this place, it's some place full of Rainbow Monkeys or something. I don't know." Miles places his hands in his pockets, before looking off to another direction. "I just hope that she's okay...wherever she is..."
