Chapter 25: Evil Within

Alice's Journal Entry 2

Dear Diary,

I had my first kiss stolen by Chase Young a good-looking but dangerous villain that is a even bigger evil threat than Jack.

Chase has the ability to shapeshift into a frightening humanoid lizard-like creature and an army of jungle cats that are actually warriors that swore eternal loyalty to him after he defeated them.

My very first kiss was with a Heylin Overlord!

Eek!

Why does the crazy unfortunate things happen to me?!

Alice's POV

Kimiko was running to reach to the Shen Gong Wu known as the Mosaic Scale before Jack, Wuya and the Jack-Bots could get to it.

I stood with the boys watching as our friend ran in a puddle of water to get to the newly activated Wu.

Kimiko wore a long green jumpsuit and had her tied in a long ponytail.

The clothes I wore a ruby red loose sweatshirt with a white tank top worn underneath it and a white jean skirt. My hair was tied in two ponytails with red ribbons and the boots I wore were red with black dots on them. Around my neck was a red ribbon with a white snowflake gem on it.

My BFF tried to use the Lotus Twister to get the Mosaic Scale from a tree, but her plan backfired when the Wu launched the scale into Jack's hands.

"This Mosaic Scale is mine!"Jack cheered. "Too bad!"

Jack does a lame celebratory dance for his victory.

"You do the dance happy too soon Jack Spicer!"Omi announced.

Omi jumped forward and started kicking the trees which caused Jack to drop on the ground and a wild mushroom got trapped in his nose.

"Jack-Bots, attack!"Jack ordered.

The Jack-Bots began heading towards Omi, me, Raimundo and Clay.

"Need a little help there, partner?"Clay asked.

"No."Omi responded with a smile. "There is only 5 of them."

Omi destroyed the Jack-Bots before he sweep kicked Jack, making the so called evil boy genius to fall into the pond of water.

Raimundo did a jump and caught the Shen Gong Wu.

"And it's a quarter-kick by Omi in for the goal!"Raimundo cheered.

I notice three Jack-Bots heading behind Omi causing me to launch forward and quickly take them down.

"Always watch your back otherwise someone would hit you, Omi."I reminded.

"Thank you, Allie."Omi remarked with a grin. "Though I already know that inspirational lesson."

I rolled my eyes at the small boy.

Classic self-centred little Omi.

Raimundo went up to Kimiko that lied on the water.

"Hey."Raimundo chuckled with a smirk. "No one said anything about you going for a swim."

"Water's fine, wanna join me?"Kimiko questioned.

"Nah, water's not my element."Raimundo remarked.

Omi came near Kimiko as he held out the Lotus Twister.

"Looks like you dropped this."Omi said. "Is that why Jack got to the Shen Gong Wu before you?"

Kimiko glared at this as she went out of the water while glaring at us.

"No!"Kimiko replied.

"Then he out ran you?"Omi suggested.

"No!"Kimiko answered bitterly.

"Oh...then he must have outsmarted you with one of his under-handed trickery."Omi requested.

"Just drop it!"Kimiko demanded with a hint of annoyance. "Okay, Omi?!"

"Okay."Omi said.

"Aw, it don't matter much how it happened, it's ours now."Clay reminded with a smile. "Let's head them up and move them out."

"Yes, we should forget the whole thing."Omi agreed happily. "Anyone can make a mistake."

Omi was then shoved back a bit by a very angry loud Kimiko.

"I. DON'T. MAKE. MISTAKES!"Kimiko growled in anger.

I glanced at Omi, who lied on the ground with a nervous grin.

"Big mistakes, little man."I joked smugly.

Then Dojo slithered up to us.

"That was fast, how did it go?"Dojo asked.

"Be quiet!"Kimiko snapped as she walked past the green dragon.

"What?"Dojo asked in confusion. "What did I say?"

I bend down to talk to Dojo quietly.

"Kimiko is just being stubborn again."I whispered quietly.

"Oh right."Dojo answered and let out a small chuckle.

Dojo grew into his larger form before me and my companions went on his back to fly back to the Xiaolin Temple.

I don't know why, but I get the feeling that we were being watched by a familiar but evil being.

Normal POV

The five monks and Dojo returned back to the Xiaolin Temple.

Alice was in the book room, but was lost in her thoughts since she was upset about her first kiss stolen.

"Why did I let that guy kiss me?"Alice thought with a small blush on her face. "It's like when I looked into his eyes...they hypnotised me."

The pink haired girl notice Kimiko walking by while holding something behind her back.

"Hey, Kimiko?"Alice asked. "Have you ever been kissed?"

Kimiko froze and became shocked.

"That is none of your business, you pervert!"Kimiko snapped while blushing.

"Sorry."Alice apologised. "What I mean to ask what happens if someone steals your first kiss?"

"I don't know maybe that someone would steal your heart and cause you to fall deeply in love with them."Kimiko suggested with a nervous grin.

"Oh...right."Alice chuckled weakly. "Thanks."

When Kimiko was out of sight, Alice paled as she lowered herself on the table to cover her face that was turning red in embarrassment.

How was she going to explain this to her family?

Unaware to Alice, Kimiko actually hid the Mosaic Scale which she accidentally broke.

The Next Morning...

"Can't catch me!"Kimiko giggled.

Kimiko, Omi, Raimundo and Alice were playing tag while swinging from tree to tree.

However when Kimiko landed on a tree branch, Clay pulled it down causing the Dragon of Fire to drop on the ground.

Clay let out a creepy dark chuckle.

"Hey Clay!"Raimundo scowled with a frown. "What gives?"

"Oh, I believe you."Clay answered creepily.

The branch that Raimundo was on broke, sending the Dragon of Wind felling on the ground and landing on Kimiko.

"Are you alright, Raimundo?"Omi asked.

Suddenly the branches that Omi and Alice also broke off, sending the the duo to land on Kimiko and Raimundo.

Clay chuckled evilly while holding a handsaw before disappearing in the tree he was.

"That wasn't very nice, Clay!"Alice scowled.

"It appears that someone sawed the limb."Omi commented.

Omi, Alice, Kimiko and Raimundo looked at the branches that were on the floor.

"Yeah."Raimundo agreed. "Same with this one."

Suddenly a tree was heading towards the four monks causing them to run and they ended up being hit by it's branches.

"Good call."Clay said darkly. "Let's do it again sometimes."

Clay laughed evilly and then ran off from sight.

"Does anyone notice Clay has been acting a little strange?"Kimiko asked.

"More like creepy strange, Kim."Alice replied.

Later that Night...

While still possessed, Clay began stealing Wu from the temple in an attempt to find the Monarch Wings; the sister Shen Gong Wu to the Mosaic Scale.

He was then seen by Jack who was also there to steal Wu from the vault to try and impress Chase Young.

"Uh...I'm not here to raid your Shen Gong Wu."Jack lied.

"Who's stopping you?"Clay asked as he took the Star Hanabi from one of the drawers. "Tell you what, Jack, if you help me find the Monarch Wings, I can make it worth your while."

"Are you asking if we can form an evil alliance?"Jack asked.

"Put it there, Baby."Clay answered.

Clay put one of his fingers into his mouth and placed the saliva into Jack's ear causing the evil boy genius to shiver in disgust.

Outside the Meditation Room...

Jack and Clay went out of the vault and came face to face with Omi, Alice, Raimundo and Kimiko."

"Clay, what are you doing with Jack Spicer?"Kimiko questioned.

"Clay and I have formed a super evil genius alliance."Jack admitted.

"Clay! I order you to put down the Shen Gong Wu!"Omi ordered. "I do not wish to hurt you!"

Clay pulls down Omi's pants to reveal his underwear before throwing him against the wall.

"Clay, what has gone into?"Kimiko demanded.

Clay throws Kimiko onto Omi.

"Your not usually like this!"Alice reminded.

Clay grabbed Alice by her ponytails before swinging her around a bit and throwing her onto Omi and Kimiko.

Raimundo jumped onto Clay's back, placing his arms under his.

"Clay! It's us!"Raimundo protested. "We're your pals!"

Clay grabbed Raimundo and gave him a hard noggie before throwing him where Omi, Kimiko and Alice were.

The possessed dragon let out a sinister laugh as Jack went up to him.

"Clay you have turned into such a freak!"Jack laughed. "I love it!"

After fighting the four monks, Jack and 'Clay' managed to escape.

In the Meditation Room...

Omi, Raimundo, Alice and Kimiko headed down the vault with Master Fung and Dojo.

"Another raid?"Dojo asked. "You know maybe we should start looking to get insurance on these things."

Master Fung checked the vault and saw most of the Shen Gong Wu were gone.

"This is terrible."Master Fung stated. "They even took the Mosaic Scale. It is a most unpredictable Shen Gong Wu used to create mischief."

"They didn't take it."Kimiko admitted. "I did."

Kimiko reveals the broken Mosaic Scale to her companions.

The Next Morning...

Master Fung and the remaining monks discussed their plan to save Clay.

Dojo held up the Ancient Scroll that showed a hologram image of the Mosaic Scale.

"For centuries, a mischievous spirit called Sibini was trapped inside the Mosaic Scale."Master Fung explained. "When the Mosaic Scale was broken that spirit was free and took over Clay's body."

"This is all my fault."Kimiko said in shame. "I broke the Scale and hid it in Clay's room. I never knew it would turn him evil."

Kimiko covered her face to cry as Master Fung walked up to her.

"Making a mistake is not a sign, Kimiko."Master Fung explained. "But not being able to admit it is the true mistake."

Kimiko smiled a little and dried the tears away from her eyes.

"What does this Sibini want?"Raimundo asked.

"The Monarch Wings."Dojo answered.

Then the image of the Monarch Wings appeared on the scroll.

"It is the sister Shen Gong Wu of unimaginable strength."Master Fung stated. "It will reveal itself within a short time of the Mosaic Scale. When the two join, their powers will become far greater than what they are individually. If Sibini gets the Monarch Wings, he will no longer need a host...he will become invincible."

"Then we must stop him at once!"Omi admitted.

"Be cautious."Master Fung warned. "The longer the Sibini spirit inhabits Clay, the stronger he becomes."

"We understand, Master Fung."Alice assured with a nod.

Raimundo, Kimiko, Omi, Alice and Dojo discussed their plan in the garden of the Xiaolin Temple as the sun was beginning to rise for the new day.

"We've got to find Clay and stop Sibini."Kimiko commented and looked at her friends. "Rai, you go North. Allie, you look at East. Omi, you take South. Dojo and I will check the West."

Raimundo, Alice, Kimiko and Dojo went to the directions to look for Clay as Omi took out the Golden Tiger Claws.

"Golden Tiger Claws!"Omi chanted.

Omi slashed open a portal and went inside it.

Omi landed in a empty yet peaceful grass field with a few mountains in the background.

"Clay! Clay!"Omi called out as he looked around. "Clay! Clay!"

The Dragon of Water turned around and came face to face with Chase, who held two sticks.

"Chase Young!"Omi said with a glare and stood in a fighting position. "If your looking for trouble, you have found it!"

"You have nothing to fear."Chase replied and patted Omi's head. "There is nothing at stake at the moment."

"What are you doing here?"Omi questioned.

"There is only a short time before the Monarch Wings are to be revealed and it'll be your challenge to stop Sibini."Chase stated.

"You know about Sibini?"Omi asked in surprise.

Chase handed Omi a stick and they began to duel each other.

"Fight him until he cannot fight anymore."Chase instructed as he blocked Omi's attacks from all sides while his eyes were closed. "That is the only way to to release the spirit."

"You skills are most impressive."Omi admitted as he spun his stick. "It's unfortunate you are on the wrong side."

"I was just thinking the same thing about you."Chase stated with a smirk as he deflected Omi's stick. "However just because we are on opposite sides doesn't mean I cannot teach you."

Omi tried to hit Chase from behind, but the Heylin Overlord made his stick catch the small monk from his pants.

The Dragon of Water let out a awkward chuckle.

Chase drops Omi off his stick and the monk landed on the ground.

"It is not the strongest opponent who wins, but the strongest willed."Chase stated.

"Monkey Strike!"Omi shouted as he rushed forward.

"Repulse the Monkey!"Chase shouted.

Chase made his stick block Omi's at the last moment which caused the Dragon of Water lose his balance and fall on the ground again.

"When fighting an opponent with superior strength, you must use his strength against him."Chase instructed.

"Why are you teaching me your tricks?"Omi asked.

Chase helped Omi up.

"Teaching is the only true path to learning."Chase answered.

"Omi!"Kimiko's voice called out.

"We'll be right down, little dude!"Raimundo assured.

Omi notice Kimiko, Raimundo and Alice arriving on Dojo's back before noticing Chase was gone.

Dojo landed in the grass field and Omi stood watching the area.

"Omi, is everything alright?"Alice asked.

"I believe everything is the correct temperature."Omi responded.

"Come on, kid! We've got to burn rubber."Dojo replied. "The Monarch Wings has revealed itself!"

Afterwards...

Dojo and the four monks arrived at a geyser park, where the Monarch Wings were located in.

There Raimundo, Kimiko, Omi and Alice saw Jack and Clay looking for the Monarch Wings.

"Sibini!"Omi shouted. "Prepare for a most humiliating defeat!"

"You?!"Clay laughed. "I eat bigger things than you for breakfast!"

Raimundo, Kimiko, Omi and Alice surrounded Clay from all sides.

"Talk all you want, but you are going up!"Omi declared.

"I think you mean down."Raimundo corrected.

"Seriously Omi, you need to learn to correct your phrases."Alice said in disproval.

"Sorry, Clay."Kimiko apologised. "But this is for your own good."

Kimiko jumped into the air.

"Judolette Flip, FIRE!"Kimiko chanted.

Kimiko send rings of fire before she started kicking Clay, but the possessed monk grabbed her foot and kicked her away.

"Typhoon Boom, WIND!"Raimundo chanted.

Raimundo clapped his hands together and send a gust of strong wind towards Clay.

However Clay got through the wind and threw Raimundo to the gust of wind, which send him smashing against a rocky wall.

"Freeze Powder, ICE!"Alice chanted.

Alice leapt up and sent powder of snow towards Clay.

Clay winced at the cold powder that was slowly trapping his arms in ice and quickly took out the Star Hanabi.

"Star Hanabi!"Clay chanted.

Clay used the Star Hanabi to sent fire balls at Alice, sending the Dragon of Ice to hit the floor.

"Tornado Strike, WATER!"Omi chanted.

Omi sent blast of water towards Clay.

"Reversing Mirror!"Clay chanted.

The possessed monk used the Reversing Mirror to sent the blast water back at Omi, Alice, Raimundo and Kimiko causing the four monks to be washed out.

Clay chuckled evilly at his work and Jack went next to him.

"It looks like super evil genius, Jack Spicer, has finally found the perfect partner."Jack said proudly.

"Tangled Web Comb!"Clay chanted.

Clay used the Tangled Web Comb to wrap Jack in it's stream of hair.

"Hey, why'd you do that?!"Jack protested as he fell to the ground. "Ow!"

"What makes you think I need a partner, partner?"Clay asked with a evil grin

Clay went up to the Monarch Wings, where it was laying in the snow and picked it up.

"I've got what I came here for."Clay chuckled.

Kimiko kicked the Monarch Wings from Clay's hands and started fighting her possessed friend.

But then Clay threw the Dragon of Fire on the floor.

"We can't let Sibini win!"Kimiko stated.

Raimundo started to fight Clay, but got defeated.

"But how can we stop the unstoppable?"Raimundo asked.

Alice punches Clay in the gut, but the possessed monk backhands her and throws her in the cold floor.

"I don't know, but we can't give up!"Alice reminded with a glare.

Omi suddenly remembered what Chase told him.

"It is not the strongest opponent who wins, but the strongest willed."

Omi slowly approached Clay, who started charging towards him.

"Repulse the Monkey!"Omi shouted.

The Dragon of Water got onto his back and kicked Clay into the air.

Clay landed on the ground with a loud thud as Kimiko, Raimundo and Alice watched in amazement.

"Nice move, Omi!"Raimundo remarked.

Clay got up and charged at Omi again, but the young boy just stood and stayed in place with his eyes closed.

When Clay grabbed him, Omi quickly kicked him off of him.

Clay slid across the cold ground and his body went limp.

"I have successfully exhausted Clay, Sibini!"Omi laughed. "Now you must come out!"

Sibini left Clay's body to crawl towards Omi.

"Omi!"Kimiko shouted. "Watch out!"

Sibini headed towards Omi's ear, but the Dragon of Water sent the creepy bug hit against a nearby tree.

Kimiko, Raimundo and Alice rushed up to Omi.

"No need to worry."Omi assured and took out the ear plugs in his ears. "I have ear plugs, I never fight and hear without them."

"I can't believe something that small can put up such a big fight."Raimundo commented.

This caused Omi to frown.

"What?!"Omi snapped and grabbed Raimundo by the shirt. "I am not that small!"

"He was talking abut Sibini."Kimiko reminded.

Omi released Raimundo.

"Oh yes."Omi agreed. "He is very small."

"Omi!"Alice chuckled. "That was incredible!"

"Yeah, where did you learn Repulse the Monkey?"Kimiko asked.

"Just something I picked up."Omi answered.

Omi notice Chase on top of one of the waterfalls.

Chase nodded at Omi before he turned and flew into the air.

Omi followed his companions to the Monarch Wings, but Sibini started crawling toward the Shen Gong Wu.

"Sibini is going after the Monarch Wings!"Alice warned.

"The Monarch Wings is mine!"Jack stated.

Jack used his teeth to grab the Monarch Wings, but then Sibini landed on his face.

The evil boy genius screamed like a little girl and run away causing the Tangled Web Comb to drop next to the Monarch Wings.

Sibini headed towards the Monarch Wings and the Mosaic Scale, but before it could take them, Kimiko challenged Sibini to a Xiaolin Showdown for the Monarch Wings.

"Sibini, I challenge you to a Xiaolin Showdown!"Kimiko challenged. "I wager the Eye of Dashi against the Tangled Web Comb!"

Sibini let out a hiss.

"Does that mean he accepts?"Omi questioned.

"I think so."Raimundo answered.

Alice shrugged in respond.

"The contest is the first to grab the Monarch Wings and make it outside the ring of geysers wins."Kimiko explained. "Let's go, Xiaolin Showdown!"

When the showdown started, geysers shoot up into the air.

Platforms of water were created in various directions that the competitors can stand on.

Sibini grew into a larger form causing Kimiko to be disturbed a little bit.

"GONG YI TANPAI!"Sibini and Kimiko yelled out in unison.

Sibini began jumping on the platforms and Kimiko followed suit.

"You can do it, Kimiko!"Raimundo encouraged.

"Keep your focus, Kimiko!"Omi called out. "Do not focus on the dishonor you committed!"

"The last sentence wasn't helpful, Omi."Alice scowled.

Geysers started shooting water at Kimiko and she was forced to dodge them.

Sibini almost grabbed the Monarch Wings, but a geyser surrounded the wings, blocking his attempt.

The wings flew off toward Kimiko, and she reaches out to grab them.

Sibini used the Tangle Web Comb to ensnare her and two geysers come straight for her.

"Eye of Dashi!"Kimiko chanted.

Kimiko used the Eye of Dashi to break the comb's strands and escaped the geysers.

As Kimiko escaped, Sibini jumped up and grabbed the Monarch Wings.

"Oh no!"Omi shouted. "It cannot be!"

"Kimiko, do something!"Raimundo protested.

"Don't give up, Kim!"Alice called out.

'If Sibini gets the Monarch Wings, he will no longer need a host."Master Fung's voice warned. "He will become invincible.'

The Mosaic Scale floated out of Kimiko's pocket toward Sibini and merged with the Monarch Wings as Sibini jumped inside.

"Just because I made a mistake doesn't mean I can't fix it!"Kimiko admitted and held out the Eye of Dashi. "Eye of Dashi, FIRE!"

Kimiko shot out a fire electricity attack toward Sibini using the Eye of Dashi.

"Dude!"Raimindo said in amazement. "That is so cool!"

"She's trapping Sibini inside the Shen Gong Wu!"Omi remarked.

"Awesome strategy!"Alice complemented.

Kimiko used the Eye of Dashi and her fire element to trap Sibini inside the Shen Gong Wu, winning the showdown for her.

"Way da go, Kimiko!"Raimundo cheered.

"Bravissima!"Alice laughed.

Kimiko picked up the Mosaic Scale and went up to her companions just as Clay stood up.

"Kimiko, you have redeemed yourself."Omi said with a smile. "I am most proud."

"Sibini, won't be out of here again."Kimiko commented.

Raimundo looked at Clay.

"Clay, how are you feeling?"Raimundo asked.

"More tired than a five-legged bronco after a bucking contest."Clay responded.

"Well, the big fella's back."Raimundo remarked.

Raimundo slapped Clay on the back and making him fall down while snoring.

Kimiko and Alice rushed forward to help Clay while Omi stayed behind.

"You did well, Omi."

Omi turned around and saw Chase standing on one of the geysers.

"Thank you so much for your assistance."Omi said with a small bow. "Have you given up evil for good?"

"Things aren't always that simple."Chase responded.

"Then why did you wanted to get rid of Sibini?"Omi asked.

"Let's just say I did one small thing for you."Chase admitted and smirked. "One day, maybe you can return the favour."

Then the geyser shot up higher and Chase disappeared from view.

Omi had a unsure look on his face as Dojo and the others passed by.

"Hey kid, time to go."Dojo reminded with a smile. "Are you okay?"

"I am most uncertain."Omi answered. "But I hope so."

Omi leapt up and Alice placed him on Dojo's back.

Then Dojo and the five monks flew away from the geyser park and headed back to the Xiaolin Temple.

In the Xiaolin Temple...

Dojo, Kimiko, Raimundo, Omi and Alice stood around Clay.

Clay was wrapped up in a blanket and had a large chunk of ice on his head while his feet were in a tub of water.

"So what do you remember?"Kimiko asked.

"Not much."Clay replied. "We were playing cards, I went to bed and now I'm here."

"Well that about covers it."Kimiko remarked in relief.

"Kimiko."Master Fung said firmly.

"Okay, okay."Kimiko responded in defeat. "I accidently broke the Shen Gong Wu and didn't tell you and hid it in your chest and this gross evil earwig named Sibini crawled into your ear and you were possessed by an evil annoying spirit. But then we fought and had you beat up, chased him out of your head and then we trapped it forever back where it came. That's all."

Kimiko finished her explanation with a big grin as Alice chuckled lightly.
