Colonel George H. Gordon wasn't surprised with the question being answered by Lt. Baskins.

"Lt. Baskins thank you for being truthful with the question. Just what do you think should be done with beefing up security for the safe house?" He had asked with being serious needing to fix the problem before it gets worst.

"Sir if you're going to be asking me. I would have to say that scanning the employees better trying to get a job working for the safe house. I would like to know on how did the shooter get into the safe house in the first place Colonel?" Lt. Baskins shaking his head while wiping his brow with sweat developing slightly.

"Do you think in regard to the senator could of been prevented with getting shot?" This was a hard question to answer.

He had to think about it for a moment before speaking. "How was I supposed of known that the senator was going to be and killed while driving him over to the gun range?"

"Why the gun range Lt. Baskins at that time of night?" Colonel Gordon was interested to know why.

"This was when he wanted to go to the gun range for which it was quiet for him to concentrate with his shooting at the targets. And besides I was slightly late a few moments having to be with Francine Desmond from IFF. She felt that she needed practice as well with having to be cooped up here that is driving her crazy."

The colonel chuckled slightly before looking down at his notes. "Tell me a little about your client Francine Desmond?" He asked with was making Lt. Baskins a tad nervous with being asked the question.

"Miss Desmond and myself have a wonder repore for the most part sir. She was forced into coming here in order to have her life saved from the idiots that are after her and others from IFF."

"Does it has anything to do with Operation Silverfoxes?" Gordon knew about it with his high security clearance.

"Yes, in a big way Colonel Gordon. Otherwise I really don't know all too much about the operation and how long it's been running." He responded with asking for a cup of cold water.

"I do in a way. But for now it's strictly classified. Now back to the security and the changes. What else would you do Lt. Baskins?"

"I know it's going to cost money with the way the budget is now of days. Wouldn't it be possible to place extra electrical fences in those areas that are really vulnerable and making them higher." He responded feeling better from being nervous.

"I will send the report into the main office and see what happens with making the additional security changes. Lt. Baskins thank you for coming here today to answer my questions. Most of all that I am sorry you lost the senator as your charge. Take care." He will announced to have Lt. Baskins getting up to leave and get some sleep. Since he wasn't due onto duty until eight o'clock at night.

Walking outside into the cold air to clear his head. He had gotten into his jeep to head for his quarters to call Francine to let her know on how the interview had gone. Looking at the time he noticed that she might be asleep with having to turn off the phone.

It would be a waste of time to even bother to call...

Billy Melrose arriving home from IFF wasn't able to relax. His own wife had asked him to sit down to dinner seeing his physical appearance in front of her.

"Jesus I can't! I will need to change into my jogging clothing and go out for a run. Maybe I will be able to relax Barbara. Unless you like to come along since you have been complaining about wanting to get back into the running to lose some weight?" He smirk slightly to have his wife putting away the food and placing it on the hot stove.

She and her husband had gone upstairs to change making sure they had their water, glowing blinker lights and most of all his weapon just in case.

"Really Billy! What makes you think we are going to be attacked this late at night?" She replied with fixing her fanny pack with the small bottle of water.

"Just in case after what has been going on with Lee and Francine. I don't wish to be another on the hit list for IFF. Are you ready Barbara?" He asked strongly with the request to have his wife staring with a certain look on her face.

"Yeah, I am ready Honey." Shs has never ever called him Honey since they had become a couple as with being married 35 years.

The both of them walked out of the bedroom to head downstairs and out the door with making sure it was locked.
