Thanks to gaara king of the sand for the help.

Carver realizes that Clementine is once again missing. She wasn't the only one, one of his guards was nowhere to be seen as well.

Every guard Carver questioned seemed to have no idea where the child was. Either they were truly clueless or some of them were lying.

There was a clear tension growing in the community, and Carver was the one dealing with it.

Guards would try to pin the blame on one another.

To say Carver was annoyed was an understatement. They had lost the child once before, and now she was missing again only days later.

He didn't even know what to do.

He figured she had to be hiding somewhere. He could rule out the fact that she had run away as there was no reason to do such a thing. She knew she would be found and punishment for doing so. Besides with her broken leg she would not be getting far.

He huffed. It seemed she never learned her lesson. When he found the girl, he was really going to have to punish her.

Carver ordered his guards to gather up any spare clothes and move them to a secure location. He figured the girl would try to search for clothes since she was naked. She wouldn't be getting any.

He made sure to set up a constant patrol beside the food storage room with hopes to catch her. He wanted to believe that he'd be able to easily catch Clementine, but he knew the child was smart. She was going to evade him as much as she could.

Her girl was sick. Molly could tell. The girl had a fever. And her leg wasn't making things better. She was sweating profusely, her face was pale, and she refused to eat, not that they had much to offer.

"Clem, look at me... I need you to eat something." Molly spoke to the child.

Clementine shook her head. "I'm not hungry…"

Molly sighed at that. "You have to eat…"

"I don't wanna…" Clementine muttered, turning away.

Molly sighed at this. "At least drink some water."

The child didn't respond.

"Clem… Please… Just drink a little bit…" Molly said. "Just a sip."

The girl finally gave in, accepting the water. The child didn't realize how thirsty she was as she guzzled the water down.

Molly sighed in relief. "Good girl."

The girl flinched at that, dropping the water bottle as she exclaimed, "No! NO, Don't call me that!"

"Clem, what are you—"

"D-Don't call me a good girl! I don't want to be called that!" Clementine snapped.

Molly was shocked by her sudden outburst. "Why not, Clem…?"

"T-That's what he calls me…" Clementine replied.

"Carver?" Molly asked.

Clementine gave a small nod of confirmation. "He calls me that if I don't fight when he fucks me…"

"God… I'm sorry, Clem… I won't call you that anymore…" Molly said. "Carver can't hurt you; I promise. "

Clementine sniffled but said nothing.

"He can't hurt you anymore. " Molly said. "I won't let him."

"He will. He will hurt me." Clementine said.

"No, he won't. I'll protect you." Molly said.

Clementine was silent for a few moments before she and started to cry again. Molly could tell the little girl was terrified.

Molly patted her back and tried to console her. She did her best to comfort the child, allowing her to cry in her arms. "It's okay, Clem... You're okay..."

Clementine's cries eventually turned to whimpers, then nothing at all.

"Why don't you try to rest some more…?" Molly suggested. "You still got a pretty high fever…"

"...Okay, promise you won't leave me?" Clementine said.

"l promise." Molly replied.

Satisfied with the response, Clementine closed her eyes and allowed herself to drift asleep. She needed medicine and water. The girl would either die from dehydration or infection if she didn't get her something soon. Molly wasn't about to let that happen.

"Is…she okay?" Luke asked, looking concerned.

"No... she's sick. Her fever's worse than last night." Molly replied.

"Shit... what do we do?" Luke asked.

"I'm gonna have to find her some medicine. She needs an antibiotic, something that'll kill the infection." Molly said.

Luke's eyes widened. "You're going out there?"

"Yeah. I have to." Molly said. "She needs the medicine…"

"What if you get caught?" Luke asked.

"l won't get caught if they don't see me." Molly said.

"How do you know they won't?" Luke questioned.1

"Because this isn't the first time, I've done something like this." Molly said.

Luke didn't think it was a good idea. "Molly, I think you should take some time to think about this."

"I have." Molly huffed. "You wanted to send my girl out there, but you're opposed to me going out there to get her medicine?"

Luke quickly shook his head. "That's not it. I do want you to help her. I know she needs the medicine…"

"Well, what is it then?"

"I don't want the plan to get ruined before it's even put into action." Luke said. "If you get caught-"

Molly interrupted him. "I won't get caught."

"But if you do, we'll be fucked. You know that, Molly." Luke said. "Besides if Clem was out there, she would have the medicine she needed. Carlos would make sure of that."

"If she was out there, she would still be getting raped. Carver would make sure of that. " Molly retorted.

Luke frowned at that. He knew that was true, and he hated it.

"I'm going to get her medicine. I won't get caught. You don't have to worry about me, Luke. All I need you to do is keep an eye on my girl. Keep her safe." Molly said.

Luke sighed at this. "Okay... I'll keep an eye on her."

"I'll be back soon."

Luke really hoped so, because if she didn't come back, they were going to be in a whole world of trouble.

Molly waited for the perfect opportunity before sneaking out.

She knew it was risky, but she needed to do this. Clementine's life depended on it.

She headed to the infirmary first. She knew if she got caught in there, at least it would only be Carlos. If he was in the infirmary, he could be the one to flag down the group.

She got to the infirmary easy. Carlos was not there, unfortunately, so she couldn't talk to him. But she couldn't focus on that. Right now, she needed to find the medicine.

That was the hard part. There were so many medications in the infirmary.

The woman didn't know how long she had been checking labels before she finally found some amoxicillin. "This will do…" She muttered to herself.

Now she needed to get the food.

The woman managed to sneak her way to the food storage area, undetected by the few guards who were patrolling that night.

The woman grabbed a few items that she could easily carry and made sure to get two water bottles. She knew it wasn't much, but it would last a few days if they rationed it properly.

Having gathered everything she needed Molly was just about to head back out when she heard someone coming.

"Fuck." She mumbled looking for a place to hide.

"This is so stupid..." She heard a young girl huffed. "Why do we gotta stand guard here all night. It's not like she's gonna show up."

"Quit complaining, Becca. These are Carver's orders." Shel said.

"Why do we gotta listen to him if we don't even like him?" Becca asked.

"Because until we get out of here, we have to play it safe. You know that." Shel said.

"Yeah, but... if she does show up, we're not going to turn her in, are we?" Becca questioned.

"Of course not. I just wanna make sure she's safe." Shel said.

Molly was surprised to hear this. She knew immediately they were talking about her girl. The fact that they wanted to leave Howes as well, and that they were concerned about Clementine, surprised her.

Still, she knew she needed to get moving, she couldn't risk getting caught even by people who seemed kind.

However, as she stood from her hiding spot, she swore to herself, realizing the two were right by the doorway there was no getting pass them, and she wasn't going to stay here. She needed to get back to Clementine.

The woman fought back a sigh; she was going to have to take her chances her. Slowly she began walking towards them. Immediately the young girl turned to her with wide eyes.

"What the hell? Who the hell are you?" Becca inquired.

"I don't want any trouble." Molly spoke in a calm tone.

"Well, you got trouble, what the hell are you doing in here?" Becca asked, she then noticed the items in Molly's hands. "Y-You're stealing from us."

"Becca, calm down." Shel said, keeping calm as well, as she looked the other woman over.

"What? She's stealing from us, Shel. We gotta do something about it." Becca said, "Aren't you gonna shoot her or, or something? If Carver finds out about this he'll flip out."

"Quiet your voice, Becca." Shel said, before looking to Molly, "There's a penalty for stealing around here. No apology is going to cut it with Carver."

"I don't give a damn about Carver, he's gonna pay for what he did to my girl." Molly said.

"Your girl? What are you talking about?" Becca asked.

Shel however looked shocked. "Holy shit… You're Molly."

Luke didn't mind sitting with the girl. It wasn't like he had anything better to do. But he was worried for several reasons. He was worried Molly wouldn't come back. He was worried they'd be trapped in the pen once again. He was worried little Clementine's health would take a turn for the worse.

He glanced to the child, who was still out like a light, her thumb in her mouth as she slept. She wasn't doing well at all.

The girl was muttering in her sleep. Beads of sweat soaked her forehead. Luke frowned, gently reaching out to check her fever once more. The kid was burning up. It wasn't going down.

If she didn't get medicine soon, surely, she would die…

Luke stayed close to the girl, shushing her as she whimpered a bit. She woke briefly, eyes widen with fear, tears dripping from her eyes. Luke did his best to comfort the small girl and sooth her back to sleep.

Sam laid by her side, cuddled close to her. The dog provided a little comfort, but the girl needed more than comfort right now.

The girl needed a doctor. Luke wished Carlos was here. He would know what to do…

He really hoped Molly hurried back with the medicine soon.

"What? The woman Clementine mentioned?" Becca asked. "I thought Clementine said she was dead."

"I guess that's just what Bill wanted us to think…" Shel said.

"Yes, that's me." Molly nodded.

"How the hell did you get here?" Becca asked.

"It's a long story, and I don't have time to tell it right now… My girl needs me." Molly said.

"You have her? Is she okay?" Shel looked genuinely worried.

"She's sick… She's fighting a really high fever as we speak. I need to get back to her." Molly replied.

Shel looked around, then peeked outside to make sure no one else was around. "How did you manage to sneak through, Carver's been making sure to have people patrolling twenty- four seven."

"We've been watching the guards from one of the stores…" Molly said, honestly.

"Who's we?" Becca asked.

Molly hesitated to answer but she figured it wouldn't hurt. "Luke…"

"Hold on, Luke's here too?" Becca asked. "Carver told us he was dead. God, he's such a fucking liar."

"Look, I know you needed to get that stuff for your girl, but it might be best to lay low for a while. We're working on a plan to get everyone out of here." Shel said.

"I don't have a choice, but to lay low for my girl. She's in no condition to be moving right now… But we'll come up with a plan of our own." Molly said.

"…Okay… I'm just warning you to be careful." Shel said. "Carver has the place lock down and under tight surveillance right now. He has people roaming all hours of the day and watching the parking lot with orders to shoot anything they see moving."

Molly inwardly swore at that, realizing that meant that even if she were to try to take Clementine and leave through the backdoor, in the comic book store they would most likely be caught and locked back up.

"I'm not gonna hold you here. You should get back to your girl. I'll keep an eye out for you, so you don't get caught. But you gotta hurry." Shel said.

"Thank you, I really appreciate this." Molly said.

"Don't mention it. Just take care of that girl." Shel replied.

Molly nodded.

Shel keeps watch while Molly heads back, Molly trusts her a bit more after this.

"Should we let the others know they're here?" Becca asked her sister.

Shel shook her head, "No… Not yet, Becca."

"Why not?" Becca asked.

"Because… I don't think she trusts us yet." Shel said.

"But we're trying to help them. We don't even like Carver." Becca grumbled.

"I know, but sometimes it's not so easy to trust people. I'm sure it's much harder for her, knowing what her girl went through." Shel said.

"Yeah… Your right…" Becca sighed. "This place really sucks…"

"Yeah… It does…"

Once the comic book store was in view, she breathed a sigh of relief. She slowly opened the door and Luke immediately jumped.

"It's just me." Molly said, shutting the door.

"Thank god. I didn't know if you were gonna make it back…" Luke sighed in relief when he realized it was her.

"I told you I would." Molly knelt beside the still sleeping Clementine. "How is she?" She placed a hand on the girl's forehead. The child was burning up.

"Not great. " Luke said. "Her fever's so high... "

"Has she woken up?" Molly asked.

"Briefly. She was having nightmares. " Luke explained.

"Poor kid." Molly sighed.

"Did you get the medicine?" Luke questioned.

"Yeah." Molly began to gently nudge the child awake.

The girl's eyes snapped open almost immediately. "M-Molly?"

"Yeah, kiddo. I'm here…" Molly said.

Clementine whimpered a bit. "l had the most... worst dream…. "

"…What was it about, Clem?" Molly asked with a frowned.

"You said you were disappointed in me, that you didn't want me anymore…" The child starts to choke up. "I-I thought you said you would never leave me…"

"Hey... hey, I'm not gonna leave you, Clem. That was just a dream," Molly hugged the girl. "It was just a bad dream. That's not gonna happen. Never." Molly said.

"Promise?"

"I promise, sweetie…" Molly said.

"Okay…." Clementine seemed to calm down a bit upon hearing this.

"I brought you some medicine." Molly said.

"I don't want it… It'll taste gross." Clementine said. "It'll leave an icky taste in my mouth."

"I know," Molly couldn't help but smile at the girl's childish response. It was so rare to see Clementine act like a kid… "But that's what the water is for, to wash that icky taste away."

"I hate taking medicine… Do I have to?" Clementine asked.

"Yeah, kiddo. I promise it won't be that bad." Molly said. "I promise this will help you. It'll keep you from feeling sick."

"That's what Carlos said about the birth control…" Clementine said.

"Wh-What?" Luke asked, stunned by what she said.

Molly was shocked as well.

"That's what he said, when he gave me those nasty birth control pills. He said they would help me, but they made me sick…" Clementine said.

"He put you on birth control?" Molly felt anger course through her, "But they wouldn't step in to help you."

"They said they couldn't help me, because they were in there, and I was out here." Clementine said. "Carver let me out the pen, because he wanted more chances to hurt me… And to let other people hurt me too."

"Clementine, look at me… I need you to tell me everything that happened." Molly said.

"Everything…?" Clementine asked.

"Everything." Molly said.

"Okay…" Clementine agreed.

And she did. She told them things that made them sick. Things that made them angry. She told them about how Carver had hurt her and allowed other people to do the same. She told them about how, the man had pushed Reggie off the roof and tried to blame it on her. She told them how Bonnie believe she was "naughty" and the things Sarah and Carlos had said to her. The way Kenny was angry with her for sucking her thumb, everything she could think of.

At the end of her story, Molly was shaking with rage, and Luke was so wrapped with guilt that his stomach felt tight.

"Shel and Becca tried to help. They let me stay with them for a little while… and Vince helped me too. But not many people helped me… Probably because I deserved to be hurt." Clementine said with a frown.

"No, Clem. You didn't deserve that. You didn't deserve it at all." Luke said. "And anyone who hurt you is sick… Sick in the damn head…"

"I don't want to think about it anymore… Thinking about it makes me sick. Sick in my stomach…" Clementine said.

"That's alright, Clem… Why don't you try to sleep some more?" Molly suggested.

"Okay…" Clementine said. "C-Can…I ask you something?"

"Sure, what is it, kiddo?" Molly asked.

"I… I don't want you to think I'm weak… Or a baby, promise you won't." Clementine muttered.

"I promise. I would never think you were weak, Clem. You're the toughest kid I know." Molly said.

"O-Okay…" The girl hesitated before slowly asking in a small voice, "Can you hold me?"

Molly was taken aback by the child's innocent request. She felt hurt knowing that the poor girl had be scared to ask that. "Of course I can, Clem."

"Thank you…" Clementine muttered with a small smile.

After getting the girl to take her medicine, Molly held the young child in her arms, gently humming to her to ease the child to sleep. When the girl's breathing had evened out Molly let out a sigh. "I can't believe this happened to her… I swear I'm going to kill that man…"

"I… I know… It's… It's sick…" Luke said. "I can't believe they did that stuff to her…"

"I should've been here. I should've been here to protect her." Molly murmured.

"None of this is your fault, Molly…" Luke said. "You know that…"

"That doesn't make me feel any better. I was supposed to protect her… To keep things like this from happening… Lee would be so disappointed." Molly muttered.

"You can't blame yourself for this… You've been doing your best with her." Luke said. "Carver is the one to blame for what she went through, him and everyone else who hurt her… And we'll make sure she doesn't get hurt again.

Molly didn't response. She still felt guilty. Part of her wishes she never joined up with Luke's group… If they had just went their separate ways, things would be so different.

Carver was getting more and more frustrated. His guards were suddenly dropping like flies. He at first thought the walkers were getting the upper hand. But these people didn't have bites when they were

found in the parking lot. This meant either someone was targeting their community, or that the killer lived within the walls. To make matters worse, Clementine hadn't been found yet. A few days pass and still no word from the little brat He didn't know how the child was hiding so well.

Part of him wondered if the girl was the one offing his men, if she was really the little killer, he lied about her being. But how much damage could a little girl with a broken leg do? She couldn't even walk.

The search for the girl lead Carver's people to the neglect other duties. They were less focused on the approaching herd and fixing the walls. Everyone, including Carver could only think about finding Clementine.

How could one little girl be so much fucking trouble?

She was quiet, fast, and light on her feet. She had always been stealthy, that was always her advantage, whenever she needed something, she would sneak out to get it.

Clementine had described in great detail about the people who hurt her. So each time Molly caught the opportunity, she would deal with her girl's abusers accordingly.

When Luke heard of what the woman had been doing, he pleaded with her to stop.

Stealing supplies was one thing but murder was another.

He was fearful she would get caught. Molly hope had decided. She was going to kill every last man who raped or molested her girl.

There was no stopping her.

Out of all the bad things you could say about Molly, no one could say that she wasn't a good guardian to that kid. After what Clementine had gone through Molly had been ten times more protective and attentive. Clementine was lucky to have her.

"Sir, we think we made a breakthrough." Cordell had told him. Those were just the words Carver needed to hear.

However, when he learned what their "breakthrough" was he was beyond pissed.

Upon patrolling the area, yet another body was discovered. One of his guards, however it was the same man who had gone missing the same day as Clementine. He had been found by the broken door of what led to the comic book store.

Carver huffed. He knew the door had been broken, but it seemed to be in worse condition now according to Cordell. He would have to send some people to fix it.

He was angry as he wondered if Clementine somehow managed to escape through that door.

He needed to find that girl. He couldn't just let her get away from him. She was his.

When Shel heard about the door being broken and a body being found, she quickly realizes that must have been where Molly, Luke, and Clementine were staying. It would make sense. People didn't usually go in there. There were no task to be performed there, and nothing but comics in the store, so there was no need to.

Unfortunately, she wasn't the only one who had thoughts about that room. Carver ordered to have it checked immediately. Shel quickly offered to do so, know that if they were in there, and they were caught by someone else, it would be all over for them.

When Carver agreed, telling her to check every inch of the comic book store and report back, Shel couldn't have been more relieved.

Luke and Molly were constantly on guard. The two made sure to watch that door like a hawk.

Each time they would hear voices near the door. Luke would make sure to keep Sam quiet from barking while Molly would shield Clementine and hide herself as well.

However, this time they were unprepared. Molly had been asleep. Luke was supposed to be on watch, but he accidently drifted off.

It wasn't until they heard Sam growling that they realized they weren't alone.

"There, there, boy. Settle down." A young voice spoke.

"Don't touch him, Becca. I don't want him to bite you." Another voice followed.

Molly immediately reached for her gun, laying Clementine down. "What are you doing in here?"

"Woah, woah. We don't want any trouble." Shel said. "We were just checking in… Call the dog off, please."

Molly sighed, removing her hand from her weapon. She obliged to Shel's request, whistling to Sam who settled down and came over to lay protectively besides Clementine. "What are you doing in here?"

"We… figured you would be in here. Carver wanted someone to check this area out, so we offered to do it." Shel said. "How's Clem?"

"Not great… She's doing a bit better though. Her fever's gone down." Molly said.

"That's good..." Shel said. "We've… been working on a plan. I know I told you before, but… I wanted to let you know, we're on your side."

"Yeah, thanks, I guess…" Molly said.

"Me and the others have gathered a bunch of supplies, I'm not sure where we'll go, but when we do escape, at least we'll have that." Shel explained.

"And your plan? What do you got so far?" Luke asked.

"Well… That's the thing, we're still working on it…" Shel admitted.

Luke and Molly exchanged looks at that.

Luke then spoke up, "Have you told anyone we're here?"

"No..." Shel said.

"Maybe you should." Luke replied.

Molly shot him a look. "Luke, what are you doing?"

"Relax. They can flag the group down for us." Luke said.

Molly was hesitant. "How do we know they won't tell the wrong people?"

"I promise you, we're on your side. We're not gonna say a word to Carver or Tavia." Shel said.

Luke looked to Molly and said, "...Well, I trust them. They're good people Molly. And if you trust me, listen when I say, you can trust them too."

"My girl actually told me about you two. How you tried to help her... she told me everything. I guess since you were willing to help her, I can be willing to give you guys a chance." Molly said.

"Thank you..." Shel said.

"In that case... we have a plan of our own..." Luke said. "But it won't be easy for us to execute it. You guys on the other hand...

"It depends on what it is, Luke." Shel said.

"Okay. Just hear me out here. We've been thinking about those radios you guys carry around. If we had one, and the folks in the pen had one, we could all keep in contact that way. We'd be able to check in with each other and be on the same page." Luke said.

Shel's and Becca's interest were both piqued by this idea.

"That's not exactly a bad idea. We could use a different channel and keep in contact without anyone knowing." Shel said.

"Exactly. We just need to get our hands on those radios." Luke said.

"I can do it." Becca suddenly said.

Shel looked to her sister and quickly shook her head. "Becca, no."

"Why not? You know I can handle it." Becca said.

"It's too risky. I'm not taking that chance with you." Shel repied.

Becca rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on. When are you gonna stop treating me like a kid?"

"You are a kid, Becca. And I don't want you doing this for your own safety. It's too much of a risk." Shel replied.

"You never let me do anything." Becca complained.

"She's just trying to keep you safe." Molly said. "She cares about you."

"She's always babying me." Becca said. "I'm getting really sick of it."

"I'm not babying you, Becca. I just don't want you getting hurt." Shel said to her sister.

"I'd just be grabbing some stupid radios. How would that get me hurt?" Becca scoffed.

"That mindset, is exactly why you shouldn't do it." Molly said. "In this world, anything can be dangerous, no matter how simple the task. Not to mention, Carver, and several of the people here are clearly insane. If they're willing to do what they did to Clementine, who knows what else they're capable of. I'm sure if you got caught it would be bad for you…"

"Exactly. Which is why you're not doing it, Becca." Shel said.

Becca huffed at that. "This is so unfair…"

"It's not about being fair. If Clementine wanted to do it, I would tell her the same thing your sister's telling you…" Molly said.

"…Whatever…" Becca said.

Molly rolled her eyes at the teen's response.

Shel looked back to Molly and Luke. "I'll get the radios. I can do that much… But I'm not sure how soon I'll be able to give them to you…"

"That's fine. Just getting them will be a start." Luke said.

Shel nodded. "Alright… You guys just keep your heads low till then…"

They nodded.

"Oh, and you should keep a better eye on that door. Next time someone comes in here, it might not be me." Shel said.

Molly sent Luke a look, and the man sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. "We got it."

Shel simply nodded before she and Becca walked out, radioing Carver to assure him that the comic book store was "all clear".

Getting the radios had been simple. Shel was able to easily grab them and keep them hidden. Delivering the radios to them was the part she was worried about.

However, opportunity arose days later when she was told to bring supper to the group in the pen.

Becca offered to deliver the other one, but Shel was hesitant. Carver had made it clear to everyone that the comic book store was off limits. Until he could get that door fixed.

The last thing Shel wanted was for Becca to get caught in an off-limits area. It would definitely cause trouble. However, the teen kept insisting until finally Shel caved.

"I'll be fast. I promise." Becca said.

"Okay... fine." Shel sighed. "You be fast, you be quiet, and most importantly you be safe."

"I will. I will." Becca said.

"Good. Meet me by the pen when you're done." Shel said. "Tell them to use Channel thirteen."

Becca gave a nod and turned to walk away.

"Becca, wait." Shel called.

Becca stopped in her tracks.

Shel suddenly hugged the girl. "Be careful. Please."

Becca hesitated but returned the hug. "I will. I promise I won't get caught."

"Alright..." Shel sighed, breaking the hug.

"I'll see you soon." Becca said.

The two sisters went separated ways. Shel hoped with all her heart that her sister would be okay.

Shel entered to the pen, carrying a pot of soup. The radio she was to deliver was stored in her jacket pocket.

"Alright," Shel called to the group. "Dinner's served."

She set the pot down along with the radio.

The others sent her curious looks.

"What's the hell is this about?" Kenny asked.

"Keep your voices down." Shel ordered before motioning to the radio. "This is for you guys…."

"What for?" Mike asked.

"What is this, some kind of trick?" Kenny inquired.

"No... I'm trying to help." Shel said. "Luke's here."

"What?" Rebecca asked. "That's great!"

"Molly's with him, and they have Clementine." Shel added.

The others were all surprised to hear this.

"Holy shit… So Molly's alive, and… and Clem's okay…?" Kenny asked.

"Yeah, they're fine." Shel said. "I'm leaving this radio here. Becca's giving them one too."

"We appreciate it, Shel. Thank you." Rebecca said.

"Make sure to keep it hidden. We don't need anyone else finding it." Shel said.

The others nodded in response.

"I've gotta go meet up with Becca. Channel thirteen, that's the one we'll use." Shel said.

"How do we know we can trust you? For all we know you're using that so that asshole can spy on us." Kenny said.

"That's up to you to decide. We want out of here just as much as you do…" Shel replied.

"Then why don't you just leave? Why are you helping us?" Kenny asked.

"Because I've saw a little girl who's been through hell. A kid who shouldn't have to suffer through the stuff she's been through. A little girl who cares about her groups' wellbeing more than herself." Shel said. "I'm not doing it for you. I'm doing it for her."

Becca made sure to move quickly and quietly as she headed towards the comic book store. She looked around, making sure no one was there before entering.

"Luke? Molly? It's me." She called.

A moment later the two moved from their hiding spots.

Becca walked over and offered Luke the radio.

"Holy shit, you actually did it." Luke said.

"Well, Shel did it actually." Becca said.

"This is perfect. Thank you, guys, so much." Luke said, happy that they final were moving the plan along

"I can't stay here long. Carver's set this place as off-limits." Becca said.

"Really?" Molly asked. That would be good for them.

Becca nodded. "Yeah... I'd be in big trouble if I got caught."

"Well, we won't keep you. Go along and find your sister." Molly said.

Becca nodded. "He's sending a group out to look for her." Becca motioned to Clementine. "Shel thinks it's a dumb idea on his part. With the herd coming, having less people is gonna make us more vulnerable. But he's so obsessed with finding Clementine that he's sending them out tomorrow."

"That just might be a good thing on our part." Molly said.

Luke nodded in agreement.

"Shel's giving them the other radio now. We'll try to make contact tonight once we get to our room." Becca added. "Channel thirteen, that's the one we'll use. Don't forget. Channel twelve is Carver's."

"We got it, kiddo." Luke said.

"Good. And... when Clem wakes up, tell her we're getting the hell out of here." Becca said.

"Will do." Molly said.

With that Becca left to find her sister.

With the radios now in hand they were a step closer to getting out of here.
