This is the last episode. After this I can start using Jatoku again… I hope. But yeah, this is the last chapter of X Beats so I hope you enjoy it. I did a lot to better this story (did you notice how a few chapters ago I name dropped the true main villain?). This is the sort of thing I try to do, especially with older series. Disclaimer: I don't own Kamen Rider, Angel Beats, or any other referenced media.
*The four previous Riders, X, Angel, Life, and SSS, drive down the road. They part their formation to reveal a blue-armored warrior with eye symbols over his armor, driving a modified Suzuki TM250. This is the last of the Battlefront Riders, Kamen Rider Eyez on his Sapphire Storm.*
Kamen Rider X!
*With that declaration, the music begins as we get our title.*

*With each declaration, we see first X, then Angel and SSS, and finally Life and Eyez leap up a hill on their Rider Machines.*

*The camera moves to show SSS and the Moth Wing from the side.*

Kamen Rider X! X! X!
*X is seen posing in front of the university, followed by Life and Eyes, and then Angel and SSS.*
The final Rider is Ayato Naoi, who's brother was killed in a car crash instigated by GOD, sending Ayato's life spiraling into depression.
*The five Riders reveal their human forms in turn.*
Reborn with the rest of the Kamen Rider Battlefront, Ayato joins Yuzuru, Kanade, Hideki, and Yuri, in the fight against GOD.
*They race across the screen in Rider form, passing by each other in midair.*

Chapter 35: Beat of a Rider's Heart
The five Riders were racing along the road. Now that King Dark was finally ready to make his move, it was clear that they had to make theirs. Especially since a giant of his size could cause terrible destruction. Hideki was still of the mind that they would need a giant robot of their own, and the idea was appealing. The only problem was that they would not have enough time to complete one. The best for now seemed to be to just find his base, wherever it was, and destroy it.
They soon caught up with Tobei, who was also scouting the city. "We have both the Rider Scouts and the Battlefront combing the city," Tobei said, "So far no luck." Yuzuru nodded. "Naofumi and Akira are also looking. Knowing them they have their own way of finding King Dark's base." Tobei nodded. "Well, we should find him eventually. Hopefully before he retrieve the blueprint piece Naofumi swiped."
He drove off as the Riders headed in the other direction. He was suddenly stopped by an old man jumping in the middle of road trying to get his attention. "What's the matter with you!?," Tobei called out, "Are you trying to make me crash or something!?" "I'm sorry!," the man said, "But my grandson is sick! I need someone to take him to the hospital!" Tobei grew concerned. "Where is he!?" "Over in our house, that way!," the old man said, pointing to the nearby field. "Well, get in," Tobei said, "You can give me direction."
After a short drive, the old man pointed to a straw house that he said belonged to him. Tobei took a look around the place. "Where's your grandson, exactly?," Tobei asked. But by now the old man had already vanished, leaving Tobei alone in the village. He started looking around, not noticing the scorpions crawling among the rooftops. One dropped near him, giving him a quick fright. He noticed the blinking lights on it, revealing it to be mechanical. "GOD!?"
"Indeed!," came a voice from the scorpion, "I am Crazy Scorpion!" The monster appeared, looking identical to Scorpion Geronimo except for the JR on his chest. Tobei was confused. "Crazy Scorpion? And what's with the JR?" "It stands for junior," Crazy Scorpion explained, "To clarify, I am the son of Scorpion Geronimo, made from a combination of his remains and the DNA of Crazy Horse. And you, Tobei Tachibana…" He knocked Tobei out. "Will be my hostage as I plan my revenge!"
Meanwhile, the Riders were growing concerned about Tobei's extended absence. "You'd think they'd have been back by now," Yurippe noted. Ayato nodded. "Even an extended search should not have taken this long." Just then they head the jeep pull up and hurried out. But instead of Tobei, they found a scorpion on the wheel, apparently having driven the jeep remotely. "Listen well, Riders!," came Crazy Scorpion's voice, "We have Tobei Tachibana! Deliver us the last blueprint piece if you value his life! We'll make the exchange at Tama Hills!"
The group found Tobei strung upside down on one of the hills. As they tried to get close, a spear was thrown into the ground just ahead of them. "That's far enough!," Crazy Scorpion called out. Yuzuru got out the blueprint piece. "We have what you wanted! Now come on out!" Crazy Scorpion and his Warfare Agents rode in on their own motorcycles, surrounding the group. "Scorpion Geronimo!?," Hideki called out, "But we destroyed you!"
"Actually I'm his son," Crazy Scorpion said, "I am Crazy Scorpion! Now hand over the blueprint, or I'll have Tobei scalped!" Yuzuru handed the blueprint out. "Fine. But only if you let Tobei go immediately." He threw Crazy Scorpion the blueprint. "Unlike GOD, we keep our promises. We'll be going now." "Not just yet," Crazy Scorpion said, "I still need revenge for my father's death!" "You're 'father' was a villainous monster," Yuzuru pointed out, "And you really are crazy if you think we'll accept any sort of responsibility for killing him outright just to save the world!"
"The world is meant to be ours!," Crazy Horse retorted, "Get them!" The Agents used their cycles to knock the Riders to the ground, then tied them up in an effort to draw and quarter them. They quickly got to their feet, pulling back on the ropes to stop the cycles from taking off. They pulled so hard, they actually knocked the Agents off of their motorbikes. "Get it through your skull!," Yuzuru said, "Revenge against someone trying to protect others will never be favored by Heaven!"
He and the others activated their devices. "Henshin!" "Dai Setup!" They transformed into their Rider states. "I am the X-factor that will wreck evil's plans! Kamen Rider X!" "I am the true messenger of the Heavens! Kamen Rider Angel!" "Kamen Rider Life is here! To protect all that lives!" "I stand on the front lines of battle! Kamen Rider SSS!" "Beware, followers of evil! This Kamen Riders never takes his Eyez off you!"
They leapt up to where Tobei was and got him down, taking out the Warfare Agents there. Crazy Scorpion rode in with more of his troops. "Cruiser!" "Wing Racer!" "Soul Rizer!" "Moth Wing!" "Sapphire Storm!" Using their more powerful Rider Machines, the Kamen Riders rode against the GOD agents, knocking them off their bikes. As more Agents moved in, so did the Battlefront, attacking them with full firepower. Crazy Scorpion moved against X. "We'll settle this one-on-one!"
"Sounds good to me!," X called out, gunning the Cruiser to full power. Crazy Scorpion was able to handle his motorcycle like it was a horse, striking X with a spear and causing an explosion. Crazy Scorpion laughed as he approached the others. "I have been powered up like just Kamen Rider X was! Now you'll see the end of the world with your own eyes! Now that we have the blueprints, King Dark has begun to move!"
He took them to the base and headed inside. Once he was in, Yuzuru came leaping in, attacking the Warfare Agents. "Took you long enough," Kanade said. "We had to find the base somehow," Yuzuru pointed out, "I figured the only way to get it done was if he thought I was I dead. Now let's deal with these losers!" The Riders quickly took on the Warfare Agents. Yui and the Battlefront grabbed their weapons. "Go and stop King Dark! We've got things out here!"
The Riders nodded and hurried into the base. Deep inside, they found King Dark's lair. At first there was no sign of King Dark, until his laughter started to shake the very cave they were in, the door sealing behind them. "Did you really think I'd let you find me without setting a trap?," King Dark called out, "That hole shall be you graves!" The entire cave started to collapse on top of the Riders.
Outside, King Dark emerged from his lair, rampaging about the area. He kept stomping on the ground, hoping to bury the Riders in rubble. Inside, the Riders quickly activated their devices. "Henshin!" "Dai Setup!" As X, Angel, Life, SSS, and Eyez, they burst out of the ground and landed on the building. "Kamen Riders!," King Dark called out, "This is the end for you!" "Wrong, King Dark!," X retorted, "This day will be your end!"
King Dark laughed. "Do you really think you can fight the mighty King Dark with that tiny body of yours? Destruction Ray!" He fired beams of light from his eyes, the Riders ducking he destroyed a nearby radio tower. He then launched missiles from his fingertips. "Deep Blue!," X called out, "Activate the RS Device!" "What!?," King Dark called out. He got blasted with a sudden ray beam as the Deep Blue emerged from the waves. "The RS Device!?," King Dark called out in shock, "But we have all the blueprints!"
"We copied the blueprints during the time we had them," SSS explained, "Even the ones you stole!" King Dark started stomping towards Deep Blue. "Then I'll just have to destroy your precious base, and stop the only thing you have that could possibly defeat me!" He opened his mouth wide, sucking in air. "Hey," X said, "I'll bet we can find a weakness if can get inside his mouth." The others nodded. "Good thinking," Life said, "Let's race our Rider Machines right in there!"
They took the Rider Machines and raced right at his mouth. King Dark scoffed. "If you wish to be eaten, then by all means!" The Riders slipped right inside King Dark's mouth, dodging his jaws just as he crushed their Rider Machines. "We'll need to get those rebuilt," Eyez noted. "Later," X said, "Right now let's see what damage we can do in here." Guns went off inside the small room, the Riders clinging to the walls to dodge them. 'Contain them until King Dark has leveled Tokyo!,' a voice rang out from a nearby loudspeaker.
A Warfare Agent came in, only to get taken out. More traps could be found throughout the robot, like sealing doors and poison gas chambers. The Riders powered through them all looking for a control room. When they finally found it, the saw a small humanoid figure with a misshapen head sitting in a chair with a device connecting his brain to the robot. "Who are you?," X said. "I am Doctor Noroi," the man replied. "Doctor Hayato Noroi!?," SSS said in shock, "But how…?"
"After Keitaro and I graduated," Noroi explained, "I was taken in by Shocker. Great Leader showed me scientific advancements I never thought possible. My skills made me valuable to him, to the point where I was spared the purging when Gel-Shocker was made. After it's destruction, I set out on my own, rather than join Destron. My inventions united countries that should have been enemies against Great Leader's true enemy, the nation of Japan. And so was born the Government of Darkness, GOD!"
"You were the one who created GOD?," Angel asked. "More than that," Noroi said, "I am GOD itself! King Dark is but a part of my body. Now the Earth is mine too!" "You forget one thing!," X said, "We're in here with you! And I'm willing to bet once you're dead, King Dark dies too!" Crazy Scorpion then came in, stabbing X with his spear. "I want to see them all die with my own eyes!," Noroi called out. X broke off the spear tip, pulling it out of himself. He then jammed it into Crazy Scorpion. "I already told you… Heaven will never accept your vengeance."
He threw Crazy Scorpion at Noroi. "Ridol Whip!" Angel helped him stay on his feet. "Hand Sonic!" "Wait!," Noroi said, "Don't do it!" "This is the end of GOD!," X and Angel called out. "King Dark will explode if I die!," Noroi called out, "You'll die too!" "We already died once," SSS pointed out, "Your own organization saw to that! Do it now!" X and Angel nodded, thrusting their weapons through both Crazy Scorpion and Noroi.
Noroi barely pushed Crazy Scorpion off of him. "No… I was this close…! The world was to be mine…! But I won't die alone!" He pulled the wires out of his head, causing explosions to go off. King Dark started to explode from the inside out, the immortal giant falling to piece. The head landed right next to the Battlefront, missing them by decimeters. King Dark's eyes closed forever as his body dropped onto the GOD base, destroying both in a big explosion. "Oh no!," Yui said, "The Riders were inside there! Did they…?" That's when all five Riders jumped out of a hole in King Dark's head. The entire Battlefield started in disbelief, before cheering at their victory.

The group came in, Yui hugging Life as they spun around. Noda blushed as he approached SSS, only for her to take off her helmet and kiss his cheek, making him really go red. X held up his arm in triumph as he and Angel held each other. "Rider… Banzai!"
Morning at last so I open my eyes, like any other day
There were cheers of excitement as the Battlefront congratulated each other, some taking pictures of the defeated King Dark.
A tie around my neck, and that's the last step
Yuzuru explained all about Noroi and his insanity, and what had gone down inside the robot.
Time passes by and I'm at my homeroom class
They entered Deep Blue. 'Well done Riders,' Keitaro said, 'It seems I am no longer needed.'
Holding my head up high
The Riders nodded as the computer retaining Keitaro's consciousness shut down.
I take in a deep breath, and with it I'm all set
"Good-bye, Father," Yuzuru said, Kanade hugging him as he finally cried tears for his father's passing.
It's just your typical day that's carried in on the wind
The others comforted him as he smiled, nodding to show he'd be alright.
I think I hear it calling me
Over the next few days, the Battlefront finished their college education, each planning out their own career.
I think I feel it waiting to be heard
Inside the Afterlife High School, the souls that they had freed prepared for a joyful school life, having learned a hard lesson from their imprisonment.
But can I answer? I feel my heart is trembling
Soon enough, they were ready for graduation, each of them smiling.
But then I feel it once again
Girl's Dead Monster was giving a command performance during the ceremony.
And like a million stars it fills the sky and flickers in my mind
Yuzuru was handed his diploma by a teacher named Keisuke Jin. "Good job out there," he said, "Couldn't have done better myself." Yuzuru nodded.
So I wish them well, and wave them farewell
The Riders made one last transformation before racing off for a new adventure.
Til we meet again…
They smiled as they saw the lights of the souls they saved flying into the heavens, ready to be reborn once more. Long live the Kamen Riders.

X walks away from his Cruiser as an armored warrior designed after a lizard leaps into view. He observes X for a bit in a crouched position before straightening up, offering his hand as if regarding him as a friend. X accepts the handshake while placing an assuring hand on the new warriors shoulder.
And with that, X Beats is completed. The real hard part is where to put in the cameos of the original Riders from canon. But anyway, we move on to Tokyo Amazon soon enough. Read and review.
