The car ride home was silent, and full of tension. There was so much on your mind you couldn't comprehend. Mangle sat in the passenger seat next to you. You could feel her worried gaze focus on you the entire way home. Foxy sat in the back seat, toying with the hook that replaced his right hand. Occasionally he cleared his throat in an attempt to break the silence. Despite his efforts however, it remained.
Parking your car in your driveway, you stepped outside into the crisp nights air. Hurrying into the house, you sat down on the sofa. Mangle sat beside you, and Foxy took a seat on the coffee table in front of you.
"So….I think I've kept you two waiting for a little too long now." You begin.
"What did Marionette tell you? You're really worrying me _." Mangle said, her voice shaking.
"When I went to the pizzeria a few weeks ago..something happened to me. I cant exactly tell you what, but something happened and I had asked Marionette if he could take the memory away from me...which he did."
"So, what exactly is giving ye all this trouble?" Foxy asked crossing one of his legs.
"I...I really don't know how to explain any of this...but the gap in my memory has led something to follow me. It's been responsible for the things I've been seeing and hearing."
"Where are you going with this?" Mangle interrupted.
"Look, this is too confusing to explain, so let me give you the easiest way to explain it all…
This thing I've been hearing and seeing is called The Night. It kept telling me to give in… and if I didn't, then somethingwould happen to our child...and I did…."
Mangles eyes widened, and Foxys ears shot up.
"What's gonna happen to you?! What does giving in do to you?!" Mangle shouted, tears began rolling down her cheeks.
"I...I...don't really know...but whatever does happen can be..fatal..to me and to anyone around me."
Mangle stared at you for a few moments before running from the couch and up the stairs. Foxy looked up at you from the coffee table.
"In yer shoes, I would've done the same. I promise ye, I'll make sure yer okay."
He placed his hand on your shoulder for comfort. But all you could feel was guilt.
"I did the wrong thing, Foxy. I have into a demon."
"I'm sure that you'll find a way out. There's got to be a way."
"I don't think there is one, but...Marionette said to go back tomorrow. So I can only hope he found something."
You look up at Foxy.
"Do you think I could get some space? I need to be alone right now.."
Foxy nodded, and left the living room.
You sat alone. Wondering what was going to happen to you…
Were you going to die? Was Mangle going to have to live without you with your child?
Was The Night going to hurt them….?
