Soon after, Ayami skipped over and sat next to Feitan.
"小丑是个叛徒" (The Joker's a traitor.) Ayami said casually. Feitan jolted subtly and glanced up towards Chrollo, who nodded slightly. He turned back to his book.
"我们的指示是什么?" (What are our instructions?) Feitan asked lightly.
"还没，只是看。 今晚告诉其他人." (Nothing yet, just observe. Tell the others tonight.)
"知道了 还有别的?" (Got it, anything else?) Feitan asked.
"回来的路上给我买些披萨." (Get me some pizza on the way back.) Ayami laughed and Feitan swatted at her irritably. "任务保持不变。小心点." (The mission remains the same. Be careful.)
"你也是。" (You too.) Feitan warned. Ayami turned and bounced away, pulling her phone out of her pocket and texting Killua.

Ayami grinned and walked out of the rundown building to sit outside. Killua called soon after.
"Hey, Gons here." Killua said casually.
"Hi Ayami!" Gon called into the phone.
"Just you two, right?" Ayami checked.
"Yeah, yeah. What's the big secret?"
"Okay, you have to promise me you won't tell anyone. Not even Leorio and Kurapika." Ayami said seriously. The boys paused for a minute.
"I promise." They said together. Ayami beamed.
"Okay, so you know I found my family, right?"
"Right." Gon said.
"My dad's the leader of the Phantom Troupe."
"What?" Killua gasped.
"No way!" Gon said, shocked.
"I know! Crazy right?" Ayami grinned.
"I guess the spider drawing makes sense now." Gon said.
"Honestly a lot makes sense now." Killua agreed.
"I guess so." Ayami laughed.
"They're supposed to be really powerful Nen users! My dad fought the leader once, but he would never tell us what happened." Killua said excitedly.
"Oh cool! I wonder if I could fight one of them… Ow!" Gon yelped when Killua whacked him upside the head.
"Baka!" Ayami and Killua said together.
"They're way out of our league baka! They'd knock you out with one hit!" Killua yelled.
"I swear Gon, if you pick a fight with my dad when you meet him I'll knock you out with one hit." Ayami threatened.
"We're gonna meet your dad?" Gon asked.
"I mean… if you want too." Ayami said, suddenly insecure.
"Sounds fun." Gon said.
"We'll be there. Besides, I still have to kick your butt for disappearing on us." Killua teased.
"Like you could!" Ayami laughed. Both boys laughed two before Killua sobered.
"Ayami, you can't tell anyone else about this." He said seriously. "Especially Kurapika."
"Yeah, I know. Dad already told me." Ayami sighed.
"Why can't Ayami tell anyone?" Gon asked, confused.
"The spiders have a bunch of enemies, Gon, and compared to the others I'm an easy target. If people knew I was here I'd have a lot of people coming after me." Ayami explained.
"One of them being Kurapika." Killua added.
"Kurapika wouldn't hurt Ayami!" Gon protested.
"If he thought it was the only way to get to the others? He definitely would." Killua stated.
"They killed his entire clan Gon." Ayami reminded him. Gon sighed.
"I guess so. Don't worry Aya, we won't tell." Gon said determinedly.
"Right!" Killua agreed.
"Thanks guys. Oh! Guess what!"
"There more?" Killua groaned.
"Yep!" Ayami laughed. "I got my memories back."
"All of them?" Gon asked.
"All of them." Ayami grinned. "You know what that means?"
"What?" Killua asked.
"I'm way farther along on my Hatsu! I'll show it to you next time I see you."
"I'm gonna get wet again aren't I?" Killua groaned.
"You bet." Ayami laughed.
"When are we gonna see you again Aya?" Gon asked curiously.
"I dunno, I'll have to ask my Dad."
"Well make sure it's soon Aya, we miss you!" Ayami blushed furiously as Killua yelled at Gon for saying weird things again.
"I miss you too. I'll call you later." Ayami hung up hurriedly, face red.
"Oh what's this? You got a boyfriend squirt?" A voice boomed from behind her.
"Uvo- Hey! Put me down!" Ayami whined as she was tossed over his shoulder like a rag doll. She crossed her arms and pouted as Uvo ignored her, walking back to the troupe.
"Hey Aya, where'd you go?" Shalnark asked curiously. Uvo dropped her in the middle of the room.
"Talking to her boyfriend." Uvo boomed. Most members laughed but Chrollo's whole body jolted and his head snapped up. Feitan's eyes narrowed and Machis Nen flared.
"What boyfriend?" Machi demanded.
"It wasn't a boyfriend!" Ayami whined.
"Hm~ I seem to remember catching you two kissing and holding hands frequently~ " Hisoka drawled.
"Kissed?" Chrollp choked out, horrified. His baby could not be thinking about boys already.
"I'll peel his face off." Feitan hissed.
"It was on the cheek! Once! How do you even know about that?" Ayami demanded.
"I have my ways~" Hisoka purred.
"You were stalking Gon again weren't you." Hisoka just smirked. "Pedo clown." Ayami hissed before she was grabbed by Machi.
"Ayami, you are far too young to start dating. You need to wait at least three more years-"
"Thirty." Feitan growled.
"-before you start thinking about boyfriends!"
"No boys." Feitan hissed.
"Machi-nee! It's not a boyfriend, Killua and Gon are my friends! The ones I met during the exam!" Ayami whined, struggling in Machis protective hold. Eventually she fought her way free and glared at Uvo for causing this mess. He just grinned widely at her. Ayami huffed and settled down between Uvo and Nobonuga.
Later that day Gon called her, excitedly telling her about the conditional auctioning they'd planned to do.
"That's a great idea Gon! Be careful though, crowds like that are great for pickpockets."
"Really?" Gon asked curiously.
"Mm-hm. A big crowd of people all distracted watching a show, you could make a big profit."
"Maybe you should come? You can pick through the crowd while we work." Gon suggested.
"Oh, that'd be fun! Hang on, let me ask my Dad." Ayami hung up and bounced over to her father, explaining her friend's plan.
"-Can I go?" Ayami begged.
"Not tonight Aya." Chorello said. Ayami frowned.
"Why not?"
"We're attacking the auction tonight, the mafia will be looking for us. I don't want you caught in the middle." Ayami pouted and Chrollo smiled at her. "Besides, I just got you back. I'm not quite ready to let you out of my sight just yet." Ayami pouted some more but conceded defeat, texting Gon to tell him she couldn't go but wished him luck.
