Next chapter is up! Frieza and company have their work cut out for them as they face this new powerful foe, Janardan. It's a fight unlike any of their previous ones. Because now their kids are being used as live bait to lure the fighters in to their enemy. WARNING: Strong Violence, Gore, and Language in this chapter. Enjoy :)

"Let the games begin," Janardan said in a mocking manner after knocking the warriors back. Frieza closely sized up his opponent trying to figure out a way past his defenses. But as of now, he couldn't point out any. They didn't want to go full on into their final forms just yet. The saiyans and former emperor wanted to gradually level up during the fight with him. But this warrior may not give them much of a choice but to do just that. So Goku and Vegeta went straight to their Super Saiyan God Forms. While Freiza went 'Golden'. Janardan looked on in pure interest. "So, you all went on to master some form of divinity. I don't say this very often. But I am impressed. Should never have expected anything less from this universes two most powerful warrior races." Vegeta smirks, "And there lies your biggest mistake. You should never doubt the unlimited power of saiyans." The ancient warlock powered up. "It's not a mistake at all. It still won't be enough to save you." Vegeta charged in and executed a flurry of hits to the enemy. But Janardan fluidly moved out of the way of each hit in a very familiar manner. "Are you seeing this, Frieza?" asked Goku. "Yes, his movements are very similar to the destroyer and his attendant during a fight. It shouldn't come to a surprise. This miscreant was a pupil of theirs long ago." But this outcome was a sad reminder of how difficult this was all going to be. If they can't even land a single hit on him. Then how can they defeat him? "Dammit, quit jumping around and fight!" Vegeta shouted in frustration. Janardan grins, "As you wish." Before the saiyan prince could blink. The warlock was suddenly upon him. Vegeta coughed up some blood and spittle as he executed a swift and deadly punch to the saiyan's solar plexus. Janardan then put his hands together and slammed them down over Vegeta's head. The force of it made the prince face plant hard into the ground. That's when Goku and Frieza quickly dove in with their own set of attacks. They went for a little team effort like they did back in the tournament of power, alternating turns and hits in rapid succession. Neither one of them was able to land a hit. Frustrated they both pulled back and started firing ki blasts at Janardan.

The warlock formed a portal that the ki blasts went through. Then made another one pop up behind Goku, Frieza, and now Vegeta. The move had them suddenly bombarded by their own energy attacks. They quickly dispersed out of the way of the haling attacks. Janardan clapped his hands together before pulling them apart to reveal two long whip like energies. They extended from his hands like extra appendages. He pulled his arms back before whipping them forward. The movement made the energy whips crack from side to side. He ended up hitting Vegeta and Goku with them. The ki sent powerful shocks through their bodies, making them lightly spasm. Frieza dodged it when Janardan tried hitting him with one. The arcosian pulled back and formed a death ball in his hand and launched it at his foe. The ki ball was batted away with one of the whips, sending it into a large boulder and making it explode on impact. The whip came back around and sliced into the side of Frieza's cheek. Goku charged in trying to punch him. But Janardan wrapped the end of the whip like energy around his wrist and with a quick jerk. Flinging Goku into Vegeta. Frieza fazed in behind him and swung his leg into the side of the warlock's head. But he angled his head down, causing Frieza to miss. Janardan used one of the energy whips to wrap around Frieza's ankle. He swung his arm around at a fast past and released the former emperor and sent him crashing into the ground. He hissed in pain as the wind got knocked out of him. Vegeta charged up another energy attack and shot it at their foe. There was an explosion and cloud of smoke upon impact. Vegeta believed he finally hit the bastard. But they heard chuckling as the smoke cleared. "That was quite an attack. Will definitely have to bill the dry cleaners to get the dirt out of this outfit."

Inside the energy dome...

"Thea don't worry. Your dad, my dad, and Vegeta will kick this guy's butt. We'll be okay." Goten said to the petrified tot. The older boy was holding onto both Pan and Thea. While Trunks was softly reassuring Bulla and Marin. She rubbed her teary eyes, "You really think so? So far that bad man has been hurting Daddy, Uncle Goku, and Uncle Vegeta." He smiled and rubbed her back, "They never lost a fight. They always find a way to defeat the bad guys." Thea tearfully smiled back with reddened cheeks. It's obvious she had a crush on the cute older boy for a while now. "He's right Thea, Grandpa along Vegeta and Frieza have never lost a fight before. They will save us and soon we will all go back home." replied Pan. Thea turned back to watch the fight through the bright green haze of the dome. "I hope so. Please be okay, Daddy."

Back to the fight...

The three fighters regroup. Already the two saiyans and the arcosian were pretty battered. "Fuck, it's like this bastard is untouchable." Vegeta growled out. "No, we need to find a way to wear him down. Just because he has a way to obtain immortality doesn't mean he is. Otherwise he wouldn't have to replenish it every few centuries or so." Frieza said. "He's right, there must be a way. We must continue to work together and break through his defenses." Goku added. "But we've tried that and it's not working." Vegeta countered. Goku shakes his head, "That doesn't mean we stop trying. We need to keep pushing. We should try combining more of our attacks." As soon as Goku stopped talking, Vegeta charged back in there. "No, wait!" shouted Goku. While Frieza shook his head mumbling, "Imbecile" under his breath. Vegeta was throwing a lot of power into his combined hits trying to make contact. But each move was being dodged or deflected. Janardan flipped back and sent a kick to Vegeta's chin. The force of the kick rattled his teeth and split his lower lip as the dazed saiyan was sent skyward. The warlock teleported to the saiyan's position in the sky and he thrust his palm into the side of his abdomen with a slight twist. Vegeta let out a short shout as one of his organs felt like it was being twisted. At this moment Goku decided to faze in behind Janardan. He sent a karate chop to the back of his neck. To everyone's surprise, he made contact and it made the warlock lurch forward and wheeze slightly. Frieza took advantage of his temporarily stunned state and kneed him in the gut. Their foe made a resounding, 'Oompf' as he expelled some air and spit. It was then Vegeta shot his upper body forward and head butted him. Janardan flew back a few yards before coming to a complete stop. No sooner then he did, all three fighters were upon him again. They would not give him time to recuperate before reigning in more attacks.

The warlock growled and sent out a shockwave, effectively pushing the three fighters back. Janardan felt liquid dribbling down the side of his mouth to his chin. he reached up and wiped it away. He pulled his hand back with a furious look on his face when it was revealed to be some blood. Then the ancient mortal's look of malicious quickly formed into a grin. "I must say, I'm impressed. It's been a very long time since anyone was able to make me bleed. But it's all the more reason for me to put you scum down." He ended his statement with a shout as he powered up. His neon green aura brightened and expanded tremendously. They prepared for an attack. Janardan shot out multiple tendrils of his energy towards the other three fighters. Frieza threw up his purple barrier around them. To his surprise the barrier started to give by the force of the onslaught of the multiple little blasts. "What the.." No sooner then Frieza spoke. His barrier shattered like glass and all three of them were now getting pummeled by the continued blasts. It felt like dozens of bullets were penetrating their bodies. Blood splattered with each hit. They tried fighting through the random energy blasts. Whenever any of them got close enough to Janardan, the blasts hit harder and were bigger. Eventually it became too much and Goku, Frieza, And Vegeta were sent crashing back down to the earth below. They struggled to their feet after taking so many hits. "If either of you have another bright idea. Now is the time to share it." wheezed Vegeta. "He has a vast store of power and energy. We can only hope that an excessive use of it may run him down. Lord Beerus did mention he still has yet to complete replenishment of his power to rebuild his immortality. We've made some effort and managed to land blows before. And we can do it again. It will just take a great deal of synchronization on our part." Frieza said as he spat some blood out.

The three warriors concentrated and tapped into their power again. Goku powered up to super saiyan blue kaioken level. Vegeta powered up to Super Saiyan God SS Evolved. Frieza leveled up to his 'True' Golden Form. There was no more holding back anything. The four fighters clashed with a great earthshaking explosion. It was an all out melee as each fighter was moving at great speeds. Like earlier, at first none of the Z Fighters could land a hit on the powerful warlock. Janardan quickly teleported behind each fighter striking them all from either behind or from the side. Vegeta received a downward elbow to his upper spine between his shoulder blades. Goku took a knee to the right side of his rib cage. And Frieza received a well aimed sucker punch to the back of the skull. Each fighter was stunned from the hits. Janardan formed an energy whip in his hand again. With a strong twist of his upper body he sent it sailing full force into the two saiyans and arcosian warrior. All three of them were simultaneously thrown back several meters. The warlock let the whip dissipate and brought his hands in front of his abdomen. He had the one on the bottom facing palm up, while the other on top was facing palm down. Energy began to crackle and a small bright green crackling orb started forming between his hands. It started growing bigger with powering steadily building it up. Goku quickly turned his gaze to Frieza and Vegeta. He sent out a telepathic message, 'We must act now! Power up your strongest moves and combine them into one blast!' They nodded. As Goku built up a God Kamehameha, Vegeta was building up his Galick Gun, and Frieza charges up his Death Cannon. By now Janardan's ball of energy was reaching epic proportions. Nearly the size of one of Goku's large spirit bombs. The warlock brought the gigantic ball over his head and threw it towards the Z Fighters. At the same time Goku, Frieza, and Vegeta threw out their hands forming an equally giant wave of energy from their three combined energy attacks.

A thunderous bang filled the sky when the energies met. Each party trying to force the gigantic blasts towards the other. Janardan put a hand on his opposite arm and forced more energy towards the large green ball. This started to push it steadily towards the Z Fighters who were starting to struggle to hold their own powerful blasts. "Keep pushing!" Goku shouted. A simultaneous, "Don't tell me what to do!" was his reply from both Frieza and Vegeta. But they still pushed more energy into their blasts either way. As more power started traveling through the waves of energy it stopped Janardan's energy ball in it's tracks and started forcing it back. The area around them started to crackle with charged energy as the attacks became more intense and unstable. The warlock was starting to lose energy as he kept pushing more of it into this attack. But he refused to give in and kept pushing back. There was a loud yell from all three Z Fighters as their auras burst with bright lights and energy. They sent the largest wave of energy into the blast they could muster. It did the trick and the warlock's large green ki ball was rapidly forced back into him. He screamed in pain and anger as the energies engulfed his entire being. It created a large blinding explosion and the screaming suddenly stopped. The saiyans and former tyrant couldn't sense nor see anything through the thick black smoke clouds. They sighed in relief, thinking it was finally over. But a ominous green glow seeped through the dark clouds. With a strong wind gust the clouds were quickly blown back by a very pissed off ancient warlock. At this point he looked beaten to hell. Some lacerations and a couple contusions covered his bloody and broken looking body. "This is far from over. I have yet to tap into my full potential. Think yourselves fortunate that you get to witness such a feat. I've only ever had to use my latent power once before. I will redecorate this landscape with your entrails and drain your brats dry!" He shouted, as strong shockwaves leapt from his body and his aura started flashing in iridescent colors.

The colors swirled around his body more rapidly as he screamed and powered up. There was a blinding light, similar to the solar flare move. The three warriors had to shield their eyes from the intense brightness. After a few moments the brightness subsided. They gasped when they noticed subtle changes to Janardan's being. But what really shocked them is all his previous injuries have disappeared! He gives them a sinister toothy grin. "Now the fun really begins. I'm going to enjoy tearing you all limb from limb." Goku, Frieza, and Vegeta were momentarily at a loss on building up a new strategy with this new and improved Janardan. "Shit, now what?" Vegeta gritted out. Goku clenched his jaw, "As of now...We keep fighting." Frieza drops back into a fighting stance. "And no matter what, we won't quit."
