Author's Notes
So, it's done.
First things first: Holy. Shit. I never thought I would actually complete this when I first began. To be honest, this was originally just a little prototype of an actual Novel I wish to write and publish at some point in the future. But as time went on, it slowly became its own thing. A project that, for some reason what with my terrible updates, horrendous spelling errors and typos and, in my opinion, rather choppy storytelling and plot, you, the fans, seemed to love. The love that you all grew for this story, made me grow love for it just the same.
Secondly, I heavily & extremely apologize for how long this took at times to update. Especially for this very last chapter; which I'm sure many of you thought was even in the works. Life got in the way quite a bit. A lot of changes happened. Some good. Some bad. But, either way, it's out. And as I'm sure you can tell by the ending; yes, there is going to be a sequel to this.
However, I am going to do something that I should have done when first writing this: Make an actual first draft and so on. I never really thought some of the plot points out, as I'm sure many could tell with certain items of note from this story. But, overall, I felt I did a decent job salvaging what I've made. But I may have also gone back and changed a few things to correlate with what was the end product. As well as delete some more…edgier bits that, now, nearly four years later, I can't help but cringe at the fact I thought was 'cool'.
Yeah…Nathan was a really edgy dude when I first came up with him. And maybe even now, depending on some of your views. Plus, he is a stereotype that's done to death, the hardened veteran. But, to be fair, they're stereotypes for a reason.
Nonetheless, again, thank you for sticking with this story and reading it.
And, as a gift, the section after this, is the very first chapter to the Sequel.
