"Naruto…what are you doing?" hinata asked as he gently sat her down.

They had to be hours away from the village but knowing their friends and sasuke. They would be here in thirty minutes. So, Naruto had to speak fast.

"looking at the girl who loved me forever and I was too stupid to realize. I am so sorry hinata. Instead of giving us a chance...I rejected you. After you loved me for so long and after you almost died for me. I always wanted a family and someone to love me…I had that, and I let you go. All because I was chasing after someone that didn't love me back. I feel like an idiot and then to see you with sasuke! The guy who has it all! He was always getting the attention! Always getting the girls! And then to find out you left the village! I don't know what was worse! You being with my best friend or having to know that you betrayed our village! I mean how could you just leave! And what about your family? how could you just-"

"Naruto...shut up." Hinata hissed as she cut him off.

Naruto stop speaking because of the malice in her voice.

"how dare you! How dare you become jealous of someone who out of all the people in the world you should understand the most! You were both outcast! Both of you had no one! And you know what hurts the most, is that sasuke had everything and then lost it all! You had nothing! Nothing! And now that you're the center of attention and everyone loves you, your best friend- no your brother is back to square one! Everyone hates him and there's a target on his back! Naruto! Your childhood was lonely yes, but you eventually had a support system that traced back to your parents. Kakashi, jiraya, the third hokage! And who did sasuke have? No one! His whole clan dead and the remaining ones ready to kill him and make his life miserable! If anything, you should be happy that he found some purpose in life! A good purpose! A meaning! And you know what! I still love you! It's not the same as before but my heart goes out to you because I wonder if you will ever find someone that will love you just for you and you won't be too blind to see! And another thing! You didn't want me then! So why now? because I left the village? You think this village is so perfect like it fits everyone's needs! Well it doesn't Naruto! So get out of this fantasy that what works for you will automatically work for everyone else! Because it won't!"

Naruto stood with his shoulder slumped. What could he say ? hey I only want you because the girl I originally wanted didn't want me back? Or because my best friend got to you first?

His thoughts where interrupted when he felt hinata hand's on his cheek.

" ..Your the only one sasuke ever cared about in a brotherly way…don't lose him now. and Naruto kun…I never regretted loving you…but now it time to let go and find someone…find someone who will love you with all her heart..."

Naruto's eyes never left hinata's as he watched neji pull her away and from the side he saw sasuke aiming his Chidori at him. He didn't move because he knew he deserved it.

Naruto was ready for the impact but looked around when it didn't happen.

Sasuke had his rinnigan and sharigan activated and his Chidori was in hand but he didn't move. He simply held it inches from Naruto's nose.

"any other time! any other person..." he stopped as he looked Naruto dead in the eyes. He was holding the blond by the collar ". i would have killed them on the spot!on the spot! you idiot! No one touches what is mine! especially my pregnant wife!"

Naruto lifeless eyes went wide. Pregnant...? she's pregnant!?

"I mean I need you Naruto! I freaking need you! Out of anyone on this earth, you are the one I trust most to take care of my children if something happens to me! Don't you get that! and you do something stupid like taking my wife! Why didn't you just ask to talk to her?"

The Konoha eleven watched in silence as they saw the normal stoic and silent sasuke yell and shake Naruto like a rag doll.

"hinata? Are you alright?" ino asked as she checked the tired looking women for injuries. Hanabi was by her side stuck between helping her sister or smacking the loudmouth blond.

"Hai...I am fine ino chan. Just a little tired. Naruto didn't mean any harm. He simply wished to talk. his method however was not acceptable."

"so its true…you and sasuke are really married and your pregnant? And not only that you're the leader of a hidden and prestigious clan?" choji asked

"yes. It's all true. Can we all just settle down now. Sasuke kun! put Naruto down please! "hinata asked as she noticed sasuke choking Naruto and shaking him.

"actually, I think this is a good time to get everything off our chest. Do you mind if we just have a chat hinata?" shikamaru asked

Hinata sighed and shook her head. She was tired of going in circles. "can we at least do it in an environment that has food? Besides I think Naruto and sasuke need to talk it out themselves."

While neji stood protectively by his cousins' side, akira, aki, nagisa and tomoya watched from the trees.

"I don't like this nagisa. This place is causing too much stress and unnecessary tension on our mistress. How are we supposed to have a strong clan and a strong relationship if these low life's keep ruining it? They are childish and meaningless." Akria hissed

Nagisa rubbed herself against him and sighed "you sound just like lord Uchiha… He wishes for lady hinata to go back home to our people."

"he has a right to feel that way. I agree with him. we are moving forward, and we don't have time for this madness." Tomoya said as he looked down at his masters.

"Do you see what you're doing?" sakura sneered at Hinata

"oh no not this again, sakura… just let it go." Tenten said as she went to stand next to hinata.

"can we please just stop fighting and grow up!" hinata shouted

Everyone froze and looked towards the long-haired women. She had never yelled, not once in her life.

"...we have all fought side by side. We have all worked so hard and yet here we are letting this drama get in the way of everything we accomplished. Sasuke and I are married, and we are having children. I know that surprises everyone and has hurt a few of you but it needs to be let go. There's nothing any of you can do to change it. now can we please just be regular twenty years old and go eat."

The restaurant was packed as old friends gathered togather in what seemed like forever. There was still tension in the air as sasuke glared at Naruto and sakura would make anxious and angry side glances at hinata.

"So...hinata chan... how are things in the land of stone? Is the tsuikage as angry as they say?" choji asked

Hinata smiled and said

"He does have a temper, but my godfather can be sweet when he wants to be. Mainly –"

"god father?" shikamaru questioned

"Hai. My mother grew up with lord onoki's son. They were best friends. My maternal grandparents were good friends with lord onoki as well."

"…So, you're no longer a leaf ninja?"

All eyes looked towards Naruto who still didn't break his stare from sasuke.

"no, Naruto san. I am no longer a leaf ninja. I am no longer a citizen of the fire country. "

". but you'll come back to visit right. Both of you…?"

He was talking to sasuke now.

"...of course, dobe. How else are my children going to know about their idiot of a godfather?"

Naruto eyes went wide.

"go-godfather?" he gasped

"what!?" kiba and neji shouted

Sasuke sipped his tea and didn't respond. Instead he addressed his wife.

"hina…you ready to go?"

"Hai." She replied as she squeezed her sister's hand.

"your leaving already! We just got here!" hanabi questioned

"sorry hanabi. We have somethings to take of. Goodbye everyone." Hinata said as she took sasuke's awaiting hand.

The sun was setting as the couple took the -scenic route. Hinata had a feeling she knew where they were going.

She didn't say a word when they stopped in front of the deserted empty land.
