Central City

S.T.A.R. Labs

Barry Allen. Man of many impossibles, yet to reach. Stands in silence, dripping his thoughts, in depression, from his past events, over 3 months ago. His last encounter with Reverse Flash took a big toll on him.

Every mission he'd complete, when he travels back to S.T.A.R. Labs, he'd hallucinate, discern his eyes on his whole team. Team Flash. Cisco, Caitlin, Joe, Iris, Eddie, and Harrison. But in reality, they weren't there. And Barry would remind himself that he disbanded the team, in hopes of keeping his allies safe from an unaccountable storm.

Flashes of memories from before haunt the speedster. Flashbacks of every death of every man and woman he was close to. It's real to him, so pragmatic. Pain dwells in his heart, taking ever piece of happiness within him, to hell.

An unforeseen portal caught Barry's eyes. He was about to motion his whole body for his Flash suit but when he was two humanoid figures, where one of them looked famaliar, he remained calm.

"Oliver?", Barry yelps, looking straight at him like he's a different person. "How did you that?".

"Long story", Oliver yaps. Covered from use of boom tube, he learns no one's in S.T.A.R. Labs. No Cisco, no Ciatlin. He remembered, months ago, siding with Flash and Firestorm to take down Harrison Wells, AKA Eubard Thwayne, the Reverse Flash. No surprise Harrison isn't here, but Barry's technician/friends are a definite surprise. "Where are all your friends?".

Barry slipped 3 steps to the right, not saying a word, yet.

"I disbanded the team. It's just me, watching over Central City, as the Flash"

"Something did happen between you, your team?", Kara remarks, getting Barry's glance on her.

"And who are you supposed to be?", he dared, bad shape, walking to Kara. "Oliver, who is she?"

"She's a friend. You can trust her", Oliver gestured Barry to calm himself, reassuring him that everything's fine. "We're all in a pretty tight spot. So why don't we set ourselves a private room to discuss?".

Barry thinks to Oliver's offer for 6 seconds, finally accepting the take.

Barry, Oliver and Kara plump their presence in a private room, discussion about their past events. What drove them to meet these particular circumstances, and why.

"I'm sorry for what I acted earlier", Barry apologising, after learning a lot about Kara's past events to her end of chapter in her world. "I'm usually like this".

"Speak of the devil", said Oliver. "Mind telling us what happened to you? Last I checked, a Speedster was locked in prison".

Barry moderates, not wanting to discuss this tragedy.

"Didn't go well?"

The latter nodded, tears slightly flushing down.

"Lost good people, Oliver". He limbs his head down. "Too many people died that day. Because I made one foolish mistake, and it will haunt me for the rest of my life".

Barry, with a bit of courage, summits with the two what happened after Oliver and Barry parted ways. Eubard revealing to him a way to save his mum in the past, not intervening the time stream, confronting Reverse Flash, and then the deaths of many lives.

"Jeez Barry, that's-". Oliver didn't know what to say. He's Barry's good friend, and an unexpected mentor to him, yet he couldn't find ways that'd steep him down.

"All my fault", Barry completed his sentence.

"No, don't say that"

"I'm sorry Oliver but you really don't know what I'm going through!", the Speedster yelled, unintentionally standing up to him, which Oliver did the same, his regards differ.

"I know what you're going trough", Oliver tells him, straight to the face. Both faces opposed. "Tragedy, pain, loss. I underwent it". His reference to his past troubles under his 5 years unseen from Starling City residents, Malcolm's Undertaking, Deathstroke's invasion, and League of Assassin's invasion. "Pain is a part of our lives". Investing his hand on Barry's shoulder. "Remember it".

Though Barry won't feel better, hearing his line, he still noted it in his head.

Their conversation trials to a close as Oliver revealed that he travelled to this world to keep Kara safe in his hands due to the ongoing hate on Supergirl in that other world. Barry validates his service of aiding the two to seek a place, so quiet no one can ever bother them.
