After Fred and George failing to add their names in the Goblet, it was finally time to hear the champions.

"From Beauxbaton: Fleur Delacour!" Dumbledore started. Everyone was beaming and cheering for her. Fleur got up and went to the back room where all champions were to report.

"From Durmstrang: Viktor Krum!" Hoots and hollers were heard all around.

"From Hogwarts: Cedric Diggory!" Lydia screamed at the top of her lungs. That was her study buddy! Look at him go! Lydia knew that he only did this because his dad pressured him to sign up but he was still happy to give his house a good name.

Everyone turned back to their food chatting amongst themselves until:

"HARRY POTTER!" Dumbledore got everyone's attention. Lydia's head snapped quickly towards her godbrother with wide eyes. Everyone was silent as Harry stood up. He walked to the back room, he could feel Lydia's worried glance boring into the back of his head.

"Professor," Harry started as he got into the back room.

"I'm going to put this simply: Harry, did you put your name in the Goblet of Fire?" Dumbledore asked calmly.

"No sir, I-" Ludo Bagman cut Harry off.

"Perhaps one of your older friends put your name in for you." Bagman suggested.

"No, I didn't even think of that bu-" Madame Maxime cut him off this time.

"Aging potion?"

"No, if you would -" Dumbledore cut him off again.

"Perhaps we should let Mr. Potter explain." Harry sighed with annoyance.

"Thank you professor, I didn't put my name in the Goblet but with all the accusations against me and me being a minor I would like my parents to be here considering I can't legally sign a contract not even a magically binding contract, I would like my parents."

"How did you know that?" Dumbledore asked.

"Know what?" Harry's brows knitted together.

"Nothing, very well, Minerva, floo Lily and James." Dumbledore started quickly. It took only a minute for James and Lily to appear.

"Minnie, knew you couldn't stay away though I am married now and Sirius would be heartbroken." James ended with puppy eyes.

"Mister Potter as much as I don't care for your shenanigans, I can not fight with you on this, this has to do with your son." James looked over McGonagall's shoulder to see a room full of people he might have known, maybe met on an occasion or two and his son.

"What's going on?" Lily asked, moving over to her son's side.

"My name came out of the Goblet." Harry turned to his mother, fear obvious in his eyes.

"Mo laochain," James put his arms around his son, his tiny hero.

"I thought you weren't going to try to put your name in, remember? Sirius gave you and Lyd crap about it for weeks."

"I didn't put my name in though and Hogwarts already has a champion, I don't want to be a champion, dad, I wanted a normal year!" Harry was frustrated and angry, he had every right to be.

"I know you did, bud, and you will have a normal year because you will not be a champion." Lily turned to Bagman who was the most opposed to Harry not being a champion.

"He's not going to be a champion because if you make him a champion your life will become a living hell."

"Oh? And who is going to make my life a living hell?"

"You know what an empath can do Mr. Bagman?" Lily asked walking closer to the man in question

"Yes, why?" Fear was evident in his eyes

"Let's just say, Harry has an empath looking out for him and as far as that empath is concerned, she doesn't care about your well-being only Harry's so, is Harry still a champion?" It was more statement than question

"N-No ma'am."

"Good, have a nice night, Harry dear, say hello to your friends for us! We'll see you soon!" Lily gave Harry a kiss on the cheek before ushering him out. He didn't want to know what conversation was going on behind that closed door.

A/N: So... I struggled for awhile to figure out if I wanted Harry to be a champion or not and then one of my friends said that there was no way that Lily Potter wouldn't throw hands. Sorry this was short but I felt that this was a good place to end it. Thanks for reading and have a nice day or night or whatever.
