Sorry I've been slacking a bit on the weekly updates but anything is better than taking another year or two long break, haha. I have been rereading all the Twilight books in preparation for Midnight Sun and it makes me remember why I loved this universe in the first place.
Alice POV
"So, we're going to fight them right?" Emmett asked, a spark of excitement in his eyes.
"It's dangerous, with her ability to steal powers we don't want to get into combat with her," Carlisle tried to reason.
"I don't have any abilities," Emmett scoffed, "just let me handle it."
"Emmett I will not let you get yourself killed before our baby is born," Rosalie's tone was authoritative.
"Alice and I will protect her," Jasper said sternly, "it's our job."
"When anyone threatens a Cullen it becomes all of our jobs," Edward reminded him. I tried to listen to their bickering, but Amber's vision was still burned into my head. Maria's accomplices knew they couldn't take Amber head on. They wanted to plan a sneak attack, kidnap her, steal her power, then dispose of her. I shivered at that thought, instinctively reaching for Amber's hand.
"We just can't leave her alone," I insisted. "If they don't have a surprise attack they will lose, Amber can subdue them easily."
"And then I can kill them?" Emmett asked hopefully. Rosalie just rolled her eyes, but I could see she felt a similar hatred for these two.
"And don't let her touch you," Edward warned.
"That's going to be the challenge," Carlisle mused.
"How are we going to protect Amber if we don't touch them," I was desperate for an easy solution.
"We just have to be faster. Amber needs to take them down before they can try anything," Edward's eyes were tight, worry was apparent on his face.
"We don't even know when they're coming," I insisted. "They know how my power works they're going to keep flip-flopping on decisions until they're only seconds away."
"Looks like we're all going to be posted up here for a while then," Carlisle sighed.
"So much for school," Renesmee shrugged, but I could see a slight tinge of happiness in her eyes.
"This may be all over before New Years, don't get your hopes up," Bella corrected her.
"We just need to be ready," Carlisle told us. "And Emmett if it comes to a fight, I think you should stay here."
"What!" Emmett was angry, his nostrils flared.
"You need to protect Rosalie," Carlisle answered calmly. "They don't know she's pregnant. That was part of the information Maria was after and we don't want her to know that we were able to duplicate the process." Emmett's face fell with realization and he looked at Rosalie, who still had a few weeks left to go on her pregnancy. She was only ten weeks along in human terms and her bump was almost nonexistent but on our unchanging frames, with our enhanced eyesight, it was still noticeable. Rose moved her hands to her belly with a look of fear on her face. Emmett went to stand next to her, placing his hands on her shoulders. He kissed the top of her head gently and his whole demeanor changed.
"Of course I will stay with her," he told Carlisle, his golden eyes baring with seriousness.
"Why don't they just go to the Volturi?" Bella wondered. "She could ask for her sister's help and they would have a strong advantage."
"For some reason it seems they don't want them to know what they're up to. Or maybe they still resent Aro for not allowing them to join because of the male's lack of an ability," Carlisle answered, speculating.
"If we kill them though it's guaranteed that eventually her sister will find out," Edward mused.
"Maybe we shouldn't have let Jacob leave," Bella murmured. "It's not the same without the wolves to back us up."
"Bella is right, I've always said there's strength in numbers," Jasper nodded next to me.
"I need to get Renesmee to bed," Bella interjected. Renesmee was dozing off on the couch, her hair falling in her face. Bella scooped her up effortlessly and carried her upstairs, disappearing in a blur.
"Should we hunt?" Emmett suggested. Mostly of us had hunted recently but it was always best to be strong for a fight.
"We can't all go at once," I reminded him. "Small groups." Emmett shook his head with understanding.
"You, Carlisle, Amber and I should go," Edward looked at me. "Rosalie and Emmett can go with Esme, Jasper and Bella tomorrow."
"I'm fine," Rosalie shrugged, running her hands through her long blonde locks.
"Then I'm not leaving you," Emmett assured her, "I need to protect you and the baby." Rosalie looked please with his protective affection.
"Deal," I picked up Amber and rested her on my shoulders, her small hands held onto my head. Jasper looked at me, a flicker of concern ran across his face.
"I can protect her Jazz," I kissed him lightly, letting my hand linger on his cheek. Amber placed her hand on his other cheek, his eyes zoning out into whatever future she was showing him.
"No danger in the forest?" he eyed her carefully once the vision ended. She just smiled and clapped happily, feeling confident in what she saw.
"Shall we?" Edward raised his brow and headed toward the door.
"I'll let Bella know the plan," Esme smiled sweetly and left up the stairs. I followed Edward outside, Carlisle trailing behind us. We started running, zipping across the fresh fallen snow that covered the lush and extensive landscape, quickly darting through the trees that started to appear before us. The forest was dense with pines, and I wasn't sure what animals would be out wandering around. Possibly a reindeer or a moose. We split up slightly, each heading to different corners of the forest to see what animals we could track down. Amber still clung to me, her legs wrapped gingerly around my neck. I started to pick up a scent - several in fact. I slowed down, letting my senses take over. Sucking in air, my throat started to prickle with thirst as the smell consumed me. I saw them in the distance. Three reindeer, all huddled around a patch of long grass that was peeking up through the snow. My mind was slightly hazy with thirst and my focus was only on the animals, preparing to leap toward them. Before I even had the chance, I saw them fall to their sides, kicking their legs sporadically. I was still bewildered at Amber's power and every time I saw it, I was taken aback.
My mind refocused, my eyes were boring into the reindeer. I was kneeling by them in seconds, Amber gracefully leapt off my shoulders and flung herself onto one of the smaller mammals. I was honed in on the pulsing neck of the animal in front of me. It felt almost too easy with him being incapacitated, but it didn't change my bloodlust. I bit into its neck deeply, sucking in the blood. It tasted earthy, thin, nothing compared to a carnivore, but it satiated me for now. I felt satisfied after only one, and it seemed Amber did as well. She jumped up onto my back and this time held on with her arms around my neck. She helped the last reindeer get up. He bolted at the first chance he got. Animals were smart enough to know we were predators, even if we weren't the type they were used to dealing with. The sky was getting darker by the minute, sunset was early afternoon here-so even though only early in the night-it was almost pitch black. My eyes needed no time to adjust and the forest around me appeared just as crystal clear in the dark.
I could hear Edward and Carlisle laughing as they joined us, chatting quietly. I felt Amber go limp on my back and reached around, grabbing the middle of her back so she wouldn't fall. I brought her to my chest so I could watch her eyes. They darted, flickering quickly through whatever she was seeing.
"No!" she screamed, piercing, her hands gripped onto my shirt. Edward and Carlisle rushed to my side; concern implanted on their face.
"Amber what happened?" Carlisle asked. Before she could answer I felt myself getting pulled into a vision as well.
"This wasn't the plan," the blonde vampire snapped.
"There was no plan, that's the point," the light-brown haired man rolled his eyes.
"Why would you want that anyway?" she scoffed.
"It's something isn't it? Plus remember what your sister told you. She can break through mental shields. I would say that's enough to interest Aro," he practically begged.
"Maybe but we don't know that. I want to be sure. I won't have them reject us again," her tone was still bitter.
"It's going to be impossible to get to the other one, you saw what she can do," he reminded her, trying to pull her towards him.
"You've already decided haven't you?" she sighed. "I'm still not sure. But we better hurry because now you've cost us time," she grabbed his hand and they were moving impossibly fast through the night, snow and trees rustling around them.
The vision ended there and I gasped when I realized what they meant. Amber was still in my arms, dry sobbing, Edward was gone, Carlisle's hand was resting on my shoulder.
"I'm assuming you just saw the decision leading to what Amber witnessed," Carlisle spoke calmly but he was shaken, I could tell. I gulped, only nodding.
"We have to help her!" Amber practically wailed, and I couldn't stop my feet from moving. She was pulling me back to the house, running as fast as I possibly could. I knew it was safer for Amber if we stayed back, but I couldn't stop her- she wouldn't sit back and wait- she had to protect her family too.
The scene at the house was not what I expected, and my stomach lurched as I began to process what was happening. I didn't see Edward or Bella, Esme was holding Rosalie's shoulders. On the edge of the forest line, I saw Emmett. He had a blonde girl pinned underneath him, his knee in her back. She was struggling but didn't have the strength to overcome him. Jasper was still inside but was by my side in a flash when he noticed us emerging.
"What…?" I stammered, trying to find the words. Amber just hugged her small frame around me and I realized she already knew what took place.
"We heard them and smelled them coming," Jasper started to explain, "but we thought they were coming for you. Everyone except Rosalie and Emmett went out to confront them. They were fast, tactical. We had eyes on the girl, mostly worried about her touching one of us. But the male got out of our sight, and he…," Jasper was struggling to compose himself. "He got Renesmee. Emmett tried to chase him down, he almost caught him but then the blonde tried to get Rosalie and… Emmett had no choice. He ambushed her, and as you can see is still annoyed that he can't rip her to shreds." He gestured to the figures I already noticed earlier. "Edward got back here right as the male escaped, and he and Bella took off to find him."
"No one went to help?" I gasped.
"Edward is the fastest," Jasper reminded me. I nodded sharply; my mind was being pulled in every direction.
"If they can't find him then we're keeping her," Rosalie scowled towards the female, "as a bargaining tool."
"He can't do much without her," Esme reminded us, "she's the only one who can take a gift." I noticed I was being moved again. Amber was wanting me to get closer to the woman. We stopped several feet back, and I felt her tiny body wrack with dry sobs.
"What's your name?" her voice was still so small, angelic, but it had a dark edge to it I'd never heard before. She was angry, livid, and powerful. The woman just smirked but then her arms moved out in front of her. It looked like she was swimming in the snow. One hand started coming toward her opposite arm, she was fighting it, but it was desperately trying to grab on. She couldn't combat it any longer and her hand started to pull on her other arm-hard. I could hear the screeching and familiar tear of vampire skin. She screamed and whispered desperately.
"Stop please."
"What's your name?" Amber asked again, her tone even more bleak.
"Aurelia," she choked out. The assault ended but her arms didn't move or try to reposition themselves. Amber had not broken her gaze.
"Where is my cousin?" she asked. I saw Emmett's face now, he looked shocked but I could tell he was enjoying this a little. He loved a good fight-especially if we were on the winning side.
"With Nicola. I don't know where he went," her voice was pleading, her arm still seemed to be in pain.
"You can move Emmett," Amber turned her gaze. Emmett looked skeptical, he didn't want her to get away. "She can't get up. Trust me." He stood slowly, still not fully believing it, but Aurelia didn't budge. Aside from her speaking, her body appeared completely frozen. Emmett darted back over to the house and embraced Rosalie upon reaching her. I felt Jasper join us, he offered some waves of reassurance. "If you had to guess." Amber insisted she give her some kind of answer.
"Maybe back to Maria," she was still whispering, all smugness was in the past.
"Your Uncle is extremely fast Amber," Jasper assured her, "I'm sure he will catch them."
"He better. For your sake," she sneered at Aurelia.
"Please, I'll leave you alone. We won't come back." Fear was clear in her eyes and they kept darting between the forest where Nicola escaped and us.
"You already returned once. What would stop you from doing it again?" Jasper inquired, standing assertively next to Amber and I.
"I thought we could do it," she mumbled. "I didn't realize you would be able to overpower us. Maria didn't exactly explain how strong you all are. And this," she flinched, nodding toward her arm. "Maria didn't know you were so powerful."
"Why did she really come back?" Jasper questioned. "Did she really just want information?"
"That's one thing yes," Aurelia hesitated, but one look at Amber and she sighed. "I think she still hopes you will return to her." Her gaze rested on Jasper then. He just scoffed, crossing his arms.
"It's been over fifty years. Hasn't she realized it yet?"
"She always says she's never had a better right-hand man," Aurelia continued. A few hundred yards away I noticed the outline of figures-far too many. I was expecting 3, maybe 4. As they came closer I cringed at what was immerging. Mateo and another male vampire were holding Edward, his arms trapped in their firm grasps. Nicola still held onto Renesmee, her small frame was shaking with fear, the only one of us who could actually cry. Bella wasn't restrained but Maria kept a hand on her shoulder as they walked towards us. The smile on Maria's face was sickening and I felt myself start to bubble with anger.
"Mi amore!" She called as they quickly closed the distance to where we stood. Nicola looked at Aurelia in horror a growl escaping his lips. Amber returned the intimidation, her grip on me was tightening.
"Maria," Jasper's voice was low and cutting. "I thought we reached an understanding before. You were leaving."
"I was," she giggled, "but I couldn't leave without what I came for."
"Which is?" his voice was getting sharper.
"You of course," her tone was far too happy. Heat rose within me, my stomach churning with anger. My instinct screamed to run over and snap her head off. "Before it was an unfair fight. But I have an advantage now," she gestured to our three family members.
"So do we," Jasper kicked Aurelia's leg and she whimpered. Nicola hissed and Nessie cringed in his arms, afraid he was going to act impulsively. Maria just laughed, sending her hair over her shoulder. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Edward nodding, I wasn't sure who's silent plans he was agreeing to. My focus still on Edward I saw Mateo and the other male raise their arms in the air. I heard Aurelia gasping in pain, Bella murmuring Renesmee's name and Maria screaming,
"No!" I vaguely registered Edward grabbing Nicola and calling Emmett to help restrain Aurelia again. My vision flashed quickly, Maria charging at me-arms still up but lunging with her teeth bared. I came around in time leap behind her, Amber quickly jumping over into Jasper's arms. I caught one of Maria's raised arms as I went. It tore with a loud metallic screeching. She hissed in pain, rage evident on her face. She charged again but with only one arm that was still forced in the air, it was almost too easy to pirouette behind her and grab the remaining limb. She twisted at the sudden movement and fell to the ground. Before she could steady herself, I kneeled on either side of her torso. Her eyes registered in fear as my hands gripped her face. I heard an audible gasp before snapping her neck. Her head detached in one clean motion and I let it drop in the snow in disgust. Esme flitted up behind me, handing me a lighter. I glanced over at Jasper, gauging his reaction. I thought I saw a small twinge of remorse flash across his face as I flicked open the metal top, the flame springing to life. I tossed the lighter, watching her body quickly catch ablaze. My nose burned with the smell, and only now did I start to survey the damage. Aurelia had moved a few feet but Emmett hand her pinned again, Edward was holding Nicola around the middle-his arms still frozen above his head. Bella had rejoined our family by the house, running her hands through Renesmee's hair, whispering to her softly. Carlisle was no longer by the house but instead was struggling to keep Mateo on the ground. He looked like a superhero, thrashing with his arms splayed out. He was fuming with anger, staring at me with animosity. The rest of Maria's group had seemed to vanish, not wanting to fight for their, now dead, leader.
"What should we do with these three?" Emmett asked.
"That depends," Edward answered calmly, "on if they will truly leave us alone."
"And not run off to Volterra," Jasper added curtly.
"We won't" Aurelia promised, her voice was pleading. Nicola shot her an appalled glance.
"That's all you've ever wanted. To be a part of them. You're going to just let your sister steal your dream?"
"It's not worth it," her voice was broken but authoritative. "What does it matter if we're both dead? I don't want to lose you." Her tone changed now, compassion evident. It was easy to forget that though these nomadic vampires lived differently than us, they could still access their humanity occasionally. They still loved, still cared deeply for their mates. There were exceptions, like the Volturi or Maria but most of them weren't inherently evil-just trying to survive.
"Like hell," Mateo growled, desperately trying to use his strength to overpower Carlisle.
"Hold their arms," Amber looked back and forth between Edward and Emmett. They nodded, slightly confused. Her eyes darted over to Mateo, he met her stare and seemed to understand, his body stopped flailing. I watched, amazed, appalled, relieved, as his hands started to move. In a blur they were cradling his head, one on his hair, one on his chin. Then he pulled-his head contorting in his hands until it fell off, landing with a thud. I glided silently over to Maria's body, noticing the small silver zippo next to her torso. I used my Gucci leather boots to quickly kick it out of the flames and slide it over to Carlisle. He reached for it hesitantly, shaking his head with sorrow in his eyes. He flicked the lighter on again and as it fell, backed away from Mateo's body.
"We will happily let you go, but how do we know we can trust you?" he looked at the unwelcome visitors.
"I suppose you don't," Aurelia sighed. "But you can always keep tabs on us," she gazed over towards me.
"She feels remorse, it appears to be genuine," Jasper nodded, his jaw was still tight but his tone was softening.
"I will go along with her," Nicola replied curtly. "Whatever she wants." Carlisle stood for a moment, statuesque, flames burning behind him.
"I always prefer to show compassion and I don't like to beget violence," his voice was soft yet authoritative. Aurelia exhaled in relief, Emmett loosened his grip on her arms and she hissed as she was finally able to push her arm back into place. She sat motionless while she waited to heal. Edward released his prisoner as well and ran over to join the rest of the family. Nicola still watched us hesitantly, but he knelt down to join his mate and let her press her head to his chest. They stood silently, she still nursed her arm as they turned to leave.
"Thank you," I saw a glimmer in her eye, a sincere remark. I was shocked at her attitude adjustment but was grateful she realized control wasn't everything. Our family was powerful-perhaps more so than the Volturi in some ways- but sympathetic. We were only violent when deemed necessary, valuing all lives (human and vampires alike) and choosing love over all else. The couple was out of range of any enhanced senses, and I felt I could finally move. I sighed, turning toward my daughter and husband. Amber was beaming at me, her golden eyes sparkling with love and pride. Jasper gave me an endearing look, relief was present as well. I felt a wave of emotions roll over me-anger, sadness, guilt, fear, satisfaction, confusion, and love. I stared into Jasper's eyes deeply, grateful he had unloaded his raw feelings. It was a bit overwhelming, but I embraced the sensation-rushing to embrace them in a hug.
The evening carried on, everyone appeared to be winding down from the encounter. Renesmee was too afraid to go back to sleep, she sat with Bella, Carlisle and Esme in the living room, keeping her mind busy with crafts, listening to her father play calming songs on the piano. Emmett and Rosalie had disappeared upstairs. Jasper, Amber and I were all sitting on the front steps, peering out into the dark snow filled night.
"You did a great job," Jasper assured Amber who was sitting between us, her hands absentmindedly twirling her hair.
"I killed him," she whispered.
"You had to," I reminded her. "You were brave."
"I saw it could have gone worse," her voice was low with sadness.
"What did you see?" I asked, worried what her little mind had showed her.
"Maria killed you," the crack in her voice was clear as she remembered. "She almost killed me too, but aunt Rosalie saved me. Then dad killed Maria. But you should have seen him," she looked at Jasper her eyes were glossy with invisible tears. "I've never seen anyone so hurt. I couldn't let that happen." I pulled her tightly to my chest, rubbing her back. She buried her face into me and placed her hand in mine. All she showed me was Jasper's face. He looked broken, his eyes looked dead. I barely recognized the man in the vision.
"Thank you," I whispered into her hair. "For saving all of us. You are truly a gift." It was incredible that such a tiny person could have overreaching influence and so much emotion. Jasper wrapped his arms around both of us, his breathe washed over me.
"I love my girls," he declared, his accent prominent.
Although she didn't need sleep Amber was exhausted, and we walked back inside. Renesmee had given in, falling asleep on the couch, beads and string scattered on the floor from her jewelry constructing. Wordlessly, Amber guided me over to her sleeping cousin. She had me set her down close to Renesmee's chest. Careful not to wake her, Amber stared up at Nessie's flittering eyelids, and closed her eyes. Nessie's snoring grew louder, and her body fell more limp. I smiled, seeing that Amber was helping her get into a deeper sleep. Edward nodded his head towards the stairs, signaling to us that he could handle the girls. Maybe he saw something in Jasper's thoughts that suggested we needed some time alone. Jasper grabbed my hand and we were sitting on the edge of our bed within seconds. My head instinctively fell onto his shoulder, his scent of cyclamen, lily, green melon, and musk enveloping my nose.
"Jazz," I asked innocently, angling my face upward to see him.
"Hmm?" he wondered, matching my quiet tone.
"Why did you look apologetic, when I…killed Maria?" It was hard to ask; I almost didn't want the answer.
"Alice it's not what you're thinking," he assured me kissing my temple. "I hated Maria, I was happy to see her gone. I was sad for myself. I wasted almost a hundred years with that woman. Living in her shadow, manipulated, abused, forced into a life I never wanted. Seeing her ripped apart reminded me she was no stronger than any of us. I could have, should have killed her long ago. It still hurts me to know I was with her longer than I've been with you." His voice was broken, pain laced with words.
"Shh," I whispered holding my finger to his lips. "Only by ten years or so at this point. Plus, that's all in the past Jazz. Eventually you'll have been with me twice as long as you endured that life, three, four times. We have forever. We've already experienced more than either of us thought possible. Getting married, you being vegetarian, having a daughter. We've experienced a lifetime of happiness. I know it doesn't overshadow the agony you went through but you will never have to feel that way again." I kissed his lips lightly, trying to pour all my love out to him. I opened myself up, sharing every vulnerable emotion, as I continued to kiss him, deepening the kiss each time. I quickly shrugged out of my jacket, kicking my shoes off to the floor. Jasper used his heel to kick off his shoes as well, never breaking the kiss. He laid me back on the bed, pausing only to toss his long-sleeved beige knit shirt over his head, letting it join the heap of clothing we were creating. I watched his muscles ripple, his scars glistening in the hint of moonlight that was illuminating our room. I bit my lip, feeling myself start to shiver with anticipation. After today's stress and turmoil, I was hungry for release. Jasper could feel my longing and responded by removing my shirt in a swift motion. He grabbed my breasts eagerly; my nipples were stiff peaks poking through the white lace bra. He used one hand to unclasp my bra, barely breaking contact. His thumb traced slow patterns around my exposed chest, his mouth followed, peppering kisses along my skin. He lingered on each nipple, circling them with his tongue, sucking lightly. I arched my back in pleasure, my nails were starting to dig into his back. Impatiently, I used my feet to pull his cargo pants off, leaving only his black Calvin Klein's. He chuckled at my maneuver and started using his tongue to trail down my stomach. He unbuttoned and unzipped my jeans with his teeth, before shimmying them down my legs. My white lace underwear were wet with anticipation. Jasper's eyes darkened with lust.
He flipped me over so my chest was on the bed, my knees bent and my ass up. He used his finger to move my panties aside, showing some restraint not to rip them apart. I noted carefully to reward him for that. One hand trailed up my sides, slowly until it reached my vagina. Jasper gradually slid two fingers in, and I shook with pleasure. He moved them at extreme speed but deliberately, twisting and thrusting. His fingers grazed my walls greedily, begging me to let go. I started to feel heat rise within me, and my walls started clenching around his fingers. I moaned loudly into the pillow, trying to stifle a scream. I heard Jasper laugh quietly as he removed his fingers. He spun me back onto my back and brought his fingers to my mouth, making me taste myself on them. I sucked willingly, never breaking eye contact. He growled then, and shifted positions, his hips now placed above me. I noticed he was completely naked and wondered when he had ripped off his briefs. His familiarly large cock was dangling above my lips and I happily wrapped my lips around it. I started off slow, using my hands to guide his hips and lower him into my mouth. My instincts overtook my though and I couldn't hold back the speed. My tongue danced and twirled, enveloping his shaft with every movement. I could already taste pre-cum leaking into my throat. I took it as a sign to work even faster, and Jasper took control now, thrusting himself into my mouth. His face was scrunched, trying to hold back. But his breathing become more labored, his penis twitched in my mouth and I knew he was close. He hissed, grabbing the wall for support and I heard it give slightly at the pressure. I felt his cum shoot down my throat and let go of his shaft with a distinct pop. I could tell he was starting the emotional assault. The waves of lust, desire and love bore into me like a truck. I growled playfully and knocked him backwards, my hands firmly planted on his chest. He kissed my forearm and smiled. I lifted my hips, placing myself over his erect penis. As I slid down on it, I involuntarily moaned. I threw my head back, and Jasper grabbed my breasts, tracing circles with his thumbs, pinching them as they grew into stiff peaks. I reached behind me with my hands and grabbed Jasper's calves. I easily maneuvered up and down, my hips perfectly bobbing and circling, making sure to hit my g-spot with every thrust. I rode him gracefully, not giving into vampire speed-wanting to savor the moment if possible.
"Fuck Alice," it was the first time he had spoken since kissing me. We had been so caught up in release, but his sultry voice sent even more shivers of pleasure through me. I laughed sweetly, relishing that my gradual torture was working. "Don't make me do it myself." He growled taking my wrists in his hand. I feigned shock, but happily complied as his hips starting thrusting to meet mine. With the newfound speed, I knew I wouldn't last long. His tip was grazing my g-spot and at this angle my clit was rubbing on his pelvis. I bit my lip, the heat mounting uncontrollably. I wanted to scream but I tried to be kosher for our family downstairs. I leaned into Jasper's chest and my cries were muffled into his skin. My release was enough to coax him, and I felt him twitch inside of me. He bit my shoulder slightly and moaned, releasing an unnecessary breath. We stayed there, unmoving, wrapped up in each other. Jasper finally broke the silence, "I don't want to know what it's like to never feel that again." I was confused at his sentiment but then I remembered Amber's vision. "I am nothing without you"
"I'll never leave you," I promised, circling the scars on his shoulder.
Wow, that was a…lemon. Not sure where that inspiration came from but I hope you all enjoyed. Again, sorry for the late updating but the show is continuing, don't worry. Nothing will stop me from finishing the story!
