As we walked through Vale, Blake searching for clues on where the meeting was, Sun tried to talk to me.

After a few minutes of him talking and me making small gestures, he asked.

" How does your semblance works anyways ? I've never seen an illusion semblance before."

I raised an eyebrow at the question.

" Actually, I'd like to know too," chimed in Blake, " you spend a lot of aura whenever you use it."

I write the answer on my scroll.

I can create nanostructures on any surface that reflect light a certain way. They'll shatter if they enter in contact with anyone other than me or anything that isn't connected to me directly."

Wait, that means you can literally show people whatever you want ? " asked Sun.

I need to make new nanostructures for every direction the illusion is going to be watched from. Creation semblances cost a lot of aura."

Tell me about it." said Sun, " my semblance lets me make temporary clones and simply making two costs me about a third of my aura."

We arrived at the corner of an alley, where three white stripes were marked on the wall.

Blake took off her bow and we approached the entrance, where a White Fang grunt gave us masks.

We put them on and followed the other faunuses into a large room, filled with White Fang grunts and newcomers like us.

On the stage, a big guy who looked very similar to all the other grunts started his speech, introducing Roman, who entered the scene under jeers and in the most annoying way possible, by thanking the crowd.

Glad he hadn't changed a bit.

One of the faunuses next to us asked what was a human doing there, and Roman was happy to answer.

He went on a rallying speech against the kingdoms, turning the jeers into cheers.

Huh... How are we supposed to live comfortably if the government and military is toppled... We need rich people to steal from after all... There's something wrong going on.

With a snap, a sheet of cloth was removed, revealing a mech.

" As some of you may have heard, this right here, is Atlas' newest line of defense against all the scary things in the world. " said Roman, " and thanks to my... employer, we managed to snag a few before they hit the shelves."

If I wasn't sure before, now I knew there was something wrong. Roman never had employers, only clients.

I vaguely heard him talk about an operation in the South-East before riling up the White Fang members one more time.

" We should get out of here." said Blake.

" Will all new members come forward." called the big grunt.

The faunuses around us started to move forward while we stayed in place. I tried to get Blake's and Sun's attention but they weren't checking.

" What are we gonna do ? " asked Sun.

" I'm thinking " answered Blake.

I tugged their sleeves a bit harder.

" He sees us." said Sun as Roman looked in our direction.

At that, I used all my aura to make a perfect illusion of us three standing there as well as making us invisible to the grunts in the room. I grabbed both Blake and Sun by the elbow and dragged them off.

" Eh..." started Sun, only to be interrupted by my hand on his mouth as I pressed them to move towards the door.

" Somebody go find out what's wrong with these three." said Roman, starting to get suspiscious.

We were almost at the door when I felt my illusion shatter and gestured Blake and Sun to deal with the guards.

They nodded, put them out of commission easily and ran away. After a short bow, I followed suit.

" Dammit Neo ! " shouted Roman.

Blake shot me a look, and I showed her my scroll.

Run, he won't bother following us if he thinks I still have enough aura to use my semblance, and we don't want to stay for him to find out I'm out.

She nodded, but not without giving me a suspiscious frown, and we all ran away while kicking the few grunts in our way.

Once far enough, we stopped to catch our breath and Blake took the opportunity to ask.

" How does Torchwick knows you ? ".

I sigh, and hold up my scroll.

Let's go back to the dorm. I'll explain it to everyone there.
