-Sleep Transition Finished-

Ahh, feels good to walk on two legs again.

It was a little stiff and sore from inactivity but that should probably be fixed by the end of the day. I was planning on doing a bit of exploring today, then some work on the castle at night. This might me my new schedule until I finish up the castle, I should have enough stone bricks to make it if the Zombie miners keep up the pace they have now. I definitely should make some more furnaces though, one can never have to many walls.

But that's for tonight, while there's light out me and Kaminari should go explore.

I decided to do just that and called over the lightning horse himself. We had three options on where to go, the Birch Forest, the Dark Oak Forest and the big mountain on the border between the two forests. The Dark Forest was definitely a going to be a quest line with all those Zombies hanging out in it and as I've said before the big mountain would be a pretty sweet bastion against the Herd(s). I don't plan on taking on them yet though as I would like to have a fully operational castle, especially walls, before trying to take over other peoples stuff. Birch Forest seems to be the last and most viable option now, off we go.

-Noon-

We dont exactly have a good way to get back home, I do acknowledge this. I didn't make a compass as it points to the world spawn, or rather my spawn. If there are multiple Players in this world then they definitely didn't spawn here, there are zero signs of anything other than mobs being here. Anyway, I usually don't have to worry about losing home as I can just take a screenshot of my home coordinates and just look at them later, can't do that here though.

My solution to this is just walking in a straight line, then backtracking once it starts turning night. It's only occurred to me now that if anything took us off the course then I would lose which way is backwards, a Ruined Nether Portal did the deed for me.

It was much bigger than a normal portal, it was missing half a dozen blocks and four of them were the new Crying Obsidian block. The chest near it had nothing much of value except a fire charge and a golden axe with Unbreaking I on it.

We were past the Birch Forest now and were in a Tundra Biome, the flat and open plains layered by snow telling me that much. I decide that this was enough loot, the stuff I got from the chest filling up my arms.

I think we passed this tree coming here?

-Dusk-

Yeah, a compass would've been nice.

By my mental mapping we actually didn't pass that tree but instead we just went right. I realized this when the big mountain came into view, this centered us and brought us back to our base.

I almost immediately made one when we got back, it pointed towards the Birch Forest like I expected but after riding for the whole morning I thought of an idea. If it just points to world spawn I just need to make a path from there to our base, this could also maybe point other newbie Players who spawn into my future kingdom. This is another theory of mine that there may be only a couple world spawns on different continents. It would be pretty boring if everyone just spawned in the same place or millions of blocks apart, if everyone just spawned in the same place then if the first ones to spawn decided to become dictators then they could just destroy the new ones they don't like. If they're too apart then they just might never meet each other, continents seemed to be the most logical as it gave everyone starting points but keeps them close enough to have some clashing ideas.

Having an actual Player with a combat Class might be bad though if they have a bad personality. My Generals could probably curb stomp them on the first day but after about a month they could put up a real fight. But maybe by that time I've gathered enough forces to wear them down enough, unless he decided to become a sort of undead Class then he has to sleep eventually. Most of my Generals have no such problem, Metagross and Bruce being the prime examples of that.

But enough worrying about my possible uncontrollable massacre of dozens of forces, possibly myself included, and start worrying about how well my castle is going to look. It does look okay but I really think we should have some sort of logo, the Minecraft grass block logo seems a bit too on the nose and I do want something much more general that people who know nothing about Minecraft could also identify. So when people who are looking for shelter come across a banner of mine they can seek out my kingdom and become a loyal taxpaye-, comrade of mine.

Something like a music note maybe? I'm not exactly planning on having my Generals become a band though. I do think i'm on to something with having a kind of symbol that everyone knows, regardless of language and place of birth. I'll have to think on it later, this seems like a pretty important decision.

Maybe I should hold this off until my Generals become smarter so they can throw in their opinion on this?

Yeah, delegating that to them sounds pretty good. They do seem to have run out of vacation days though, back into the ringer of mobs now I suppose.

It'll be fun to watch Metagross and Bruce test out their new Skills as well.

-End-

Authors Note:Nothing much to say here except I actually ended exactly on 1,000 words for the chapter. Of course it's higher then that now due to this stuff but it's a pretty cool coincidence nontheless

Reviewers:

GoldenVoid235:Thanks for the support and I hope to keep up with my future content.

ShadowKing214:¯\_(ツ)_/¯, lol but thanks for the continued reviews and questions that make me actually think about the details of the future of this story. My thinking was much more general and have changed a lot between the beginning of writing this and now so having people reminding me of these important details is nice.

Chapter 20 Guest:The Enchanting Skill he has that allows him to use the enchanting table to enchant only allows one use per day. Basically only one Skill use per day, not one enchanting table use per day. Sorry if this sounds confusing.
