A.N. Thank you everyone for reading and sorry for the delay. Thanks again.

Gamma-X - Chakravartin is an extremely clever entity, I wouldn't set him within chaotic neutral/Lawful Evil as he sees himself as doing what is necessary. of course he is an ass but yeah. His personality is his, he does share an existence with Asura by his choosing but he wouldn't do so at the cost of himself. Too prideful for that. And I STILL have no clue if I will ship Asura. Honestly, I am thinking of No, cause well he is still faithful to Durga. And the artwork was done by a good friend of mine. He is credited in the description, an artist by the username of DylanTheArtist. So, yeah he did the artwork for that and has done a few more.
Don Orbit - Well I hope this fight was something to behold. Sorry, it took so long to show.
W8W - Hmm who knows who Illya saw. And yes it is good the children of Kiritsugu are at least starting to get along.
Akuma-Heika - Well, it isn't a mortal he wants ruling the fates of mortals but a mortal *HE* has chosen. As stated to Asura, "Gaia must be lead by one of her own." He has other games to play.
Dragon Lord Slayer 101 - Yeah, my headcanon is that Asura is a grand Berserker XD
T51B - Riiiight... You reviewed A LOT recently. I am gonna be honest, I am only gonna respond to the latest one as there IS a lot to go through overwise. I am sorry, about that. Now, Chahravartin, is a manipulative god, he will always look for ways to play his games. And, he is extremely bitter. And thank you for so much support as well. I do hope you enjoy reading this latest chapter.
And now everyone please enjoy.
Chapter 20
The trio of master's hurried past the line of knight class servants. Saber was the only one whose eyes followed the masters as they entered the ruined outline of the church. The smallest of the Master's stopped dead in her tracks before she entered the church."Asura… be careful." Her voice spoke softly though she did not turn around. Asura smiled at that as he slowly raised his arms into his usual pose before he charged a foe. Illya continued to march into the church, Shirou and Rin standing either side of the entrance. Each one keeping a close eye on Illya.
The three servants raised their weapons, each one waiting for the other to make a move. Lancer broke the deadlock first. His crimson spear shining in the moonlight as it streaked towards Asura, the rock pavings cracking as he moved. The spear shined with a strange purple hue. Asura reacted in a blur of crimson light grabbing the tip of the spear with his right hand, only to feel a strange pulse of violet batting aside his grip as the spear landed in the centre of his chest. The blow knocked Asura into the ground taking him very much by surprise. There was no wound but the strike was stronger than expected. 'My, that was quite the punch…. Have they gotten stronger?' The spider's voice echoed as Asura got back onto his feet. A strange stone talisman hung around Lancer's neck, it seemed to glow a bright purple. Asura surveyed the other servants seeing the similar talismans on each one.
'Hmm, so Caster has made these…. Trinkets to empower them. At best it has bought them time.' Asura did not give the spider the pleasure of a response, he burst forward a crimson trail burning in his wake. He launched his fist at Lancer, who barely dodged the hit, the very shockwaves pushing him back. Saber then burst forward her invisible blade slashing at Asura, having learned from his mistake Asura did not hold back he battered the blade aside with a strike that would break steel. Blade and wielder were thrown to the right of the church slamming hard into the grassy field, digging up dirt and rock. Arrows screamed forward as Archer finally entered the fray each one slamming into Asura who raised his arms in defence. The night was filled with fire and light as each arrow impacted with the sound of a ballistic missile. The smoke cloud hadn't even lifted before Archer sent forth another barrage of screaming projectiles into the area. A cacophony of sound burst into violent life as they exploded. A mere fraction of a second passed and Archer was face to face with Asura who had burst through the ashes and smoke looking Archer in the eye.
"You better grit your teeth." Asura snarled with a sly grin as he slammed his fist into Archer's side sending him to the left-hand side of the church. Lancer not waiting for Asura to come to him struck at him again. A fist collided with the spear tip, sparks flew as Lancer faced off against Asura. Swinging, slicing, and stabbing with his lance. The fight was chaotic, Lancer who fought with skill and speed clashed with roar savagery that was Asura. A crimson spear bathed in violet light and a body engulfed in crimson flames. After what seemed like an eternity Asura struck against the body of Lancer, making him cough blood as he was launched into the dirt.
A little while away from the conflict at the church, near the graveyard knelt a robed individual. He observed the fight while being covered in a veil of shadows. An ever-growing chittering could be heard all around him as he continued to watch the conflict. 'Those bugs are back….with something else.' The spider materialized just to the right of the church not too far from the fight. He turned to look at Asura, who was completely engrossed in the fight. Saber and Lancer both struck at him while Archer supported from the rear.
'Even caster's eyes are distracted… what a wondrous opportunity.' His metallic legs clicked as the spider stove forward, the hooded individual drew a small blade as he heard the metallic clicking. The chittering grew quite as everything in the graveyard turned its attention to the golden spider brazenly marching forward.
Shirou while Rin leads Illya forward, holding her hand tightly. "My, such brave ones you are." Caster spoke as she and Souichirou both stood near a blood-stained altar. Rin let go of Illya's hand. "Remember the plan everyone." Rin spoke as she and Emiya stood in front of the servant and killer. Emiya faced Souichirou, while Rin faced Caster. They stood within the inner crypt of the church, stone pillars lining the walls and a sense of death filled the air. Huge stone stairs toward behind the three masters as they faced Caster and Souichirou.
Souichirou surged forward his trained body and caster's enhancements making him a far superior fighter than Shirou who kept trying to deflect his strikes with his projected copies of Archer's blades. While Rin ran around the open clearing of the church, throwing gems into the air and sending bursts of magic energy to Caster who dispelled, or blocked the magecraft with ease while she unleashed true magic towards Rin. Rin raised a green shield to protect her but a blast of purple light burst through and was about to collide with her when a blue ethereal sword slammed into the blast, Illya's familiars flew around Illya in a protective arc while some detached themselves from the group and aided either Shirou or Rin should the need arise.
"Annoying familiar magic, oh well you can't protect them and yourself." Caster spoke with a hint of annoyance as she raised her hand, a pulse of magic burst into life soaring towards Illya. "I may be weaker now...but I am not defenceless. Caster." Illya spoke with a stern tone in her voice. The blast of magic collided with two of the familiar blades breaking the spell in the air. Illya stood at the very entrance of the crypt, her two hands clasped a golden orb that she clung tightly to her chest, despite the dull throbbing pain that lingered. 'Even if I were weak….he is always protecting me.' Illya smiled to herself as her familiars circled her protecting her and attacking wherever the need arose.
Asura was fighting all three servants at once, the second he knocked one into the ground another was streaking towards with. Every hit left mere marks on his body, while the servants seemed to regenerate their wounds at insanely quick speeds. "So, Caster has really poured this much of that mana she's been saving into this?" Asura said in amusement as he backhanded Saber away. A hail of arrows flew towards Asura colliding with an ear defending screech.
"Of course, you are a threat that needs to be removed." Archer spoke as he held his bow aimed at the smoke cloud. A low grunt of amusement was carried on the wind as Asura walked out of the smoke.
"Well then….. I am starting to enjoy this!" Asura roared as his entire body was engulfed in the crimson flames of Wrath. The air grew heavy as the entire area felt the tension build, it was like gravity had increased tenfold as Asura roared and four extra arms burst on his body, two on his left and two on his right. He stretched his six arms slowly, a high pitch wine screamed through the air as Asura flexed his might. The three servants stared at Asura, almost stupefied by him.
"THAT IS YOUR NOBLE PHANTASM?" Lancer spoke in a mixture of rage and confusion. They charged and resumed the melee. Asura seemed to have increased all of his stats in the state he was in. Fighting harder and faster than before. Each hit he landed was a wound on the servant. They were being injured faster than Caster's mana supply could repair them. Each movement to dodge left them feeling exhausted. The fight had drastically gone from an evenly met conflict to a beat down. The three servants could not believe how quickly everything had gotten out of control.
'My...he used that state?... His mantra is still steady, I still have time.' The spider mused as he turned his attention back to the hooded individual who had a dagger pointed at him.
"A familiar? Oh well better destroy it." He spoke as he moved in to strike. He moved in a flash moving at a pace that would make any mortal person blink. Yet, before his blade even struck the spider his entire body was wrapped and suspended in the air in golden threads. Threads that all came from the spider's abdomen.
"Now, now. Let's not be hasty here… Another servant?...Interesting. So, we are in a rather fortuitous situation. I wish to speak to the one who is pulling your strings… I sense his filthy presence in this area, hiding within the worms." The spider spoke as he looked at the captured servant, who struggled to break free of the threads. 'Hmm it seems they are not as potent as I had hoped, at this rate this servant may break free.' He mused again, though all his head showed was an annoyed twitch. A black liquid started to pour forth toward the spider, a slow-moving mud. It oozed with malevolence as if it screamed in rage. The spider looked at the liquid encroaching him.
"Whatever you are, you sure are an arrogant one." A voice echoed throughout the graveyard though it did not leave the confines of the graveyard. The mud got ever closer, as well as an ominous presence.
"Having the gall to surround a god..and I am called the arrogant one…" The spider's voice was filled with venom. His abdomen raised into the air and a cyclone of golden thread reached high into the air. It spiraled out like a whip striking the mud and burning it where they collided. The mud slowly receded. Standing not too far away stood a decrepit old man, skin barely clinging on and eyes that held the glaze of death, his bones poked throughout his body. He smiled staring at the spider. "Whatever you are, you have power. I will use it for my own ends." He spoke with a voice that sounded aged beyond mortal means and his breath held a stink of decay. The ground writhed as the worms rose from the ground and scurried towards the spider.
"You want to try this again, you arrogant mortal vaingloriously clinging for divinity!" The threads lashed out faster than sound, faster than sight. The old man didn't get time to react, his worms and even the black mud rose to protect him but all burned into golden sparks as the thread wrapped around his arm. A pain unfelt by mortals for aeons passed screamed through the old man and yet he couldn't move his mouth. His head was filled with images, pain was all he could know. A cellar filled with a writhing mass screamed as each one of the writhing worms started to burn in the same golden light. His mind couldn't process the pain, what he sore. It was all too much. "What…..what are you?" gurgled pain left his lips as even the blackened shadow couldn't cut the threads. The harshness of their light dimmed and the pain lessened as the Spider focused it's gem eyes on the magus.
A bright flash filled the magus' mind and he found himself floating amongst the stars. The earth behind him, showing just how insignificant he was. Yet, a harsh light shined behind him, he knew it wasn't the sun, it shone in the corner of his eye. He turned his gaze to see a colossus of a being floating in space. The entity shined with the might of creation, hundreds of arms protruded from him, eyes that gleamed like a supernova, and a pressure that made everything feel compelled to be drawn into him. Stars were being drawn to it. It was as if this was the centre of all of creation. "You asked me what I am…. I AM GOD!" the being roared without moving his lips. The very stars shook from his rage and it seemed like a few even were annihilated by it. The magus for the first time in a lifetime felt fear. "Now, I have your undivided attention. Let's talk business." The voice echoed, it was regal, noble, and powerful. "I am a fraction of my former self, betrayed by a child of mine. An entity you mortals call berserker. This very flawed world is a product of that betrayal. Would you aid a god for a reward of the power you seek? You wish for immortality from a flawed grail, created to mimic divinity and grant wishes. Aid me, and I can grant your every wish." The voice echoed again.
"You seek the aid of me while calling yourself a god? Haha, some god you…" His words died in his throat as his entire body wracked with pain. "Such blasphemy!" The god roared as he looked at the magus. "Zouken…. Makiri Zolgen...I KNOW EVERYTHING you've done. And, while some are….. interesting...shall we say. I can say that you are a sheet cut from my cloth. Your methods are similar to mine. We've both used others for our ends. So, take a stand with divinity. Accept my blessings and stand with ME!" All of reality screamed as the god spoke. Zouken stared in disbelief. His mind and will felt shaken, the very air seemed to strain alongside reality. "Bring the lesser grail to me when I call for it. I will show you what true power is when I reclaim my power….from the traitorous one."
A blinding light filled his mind and Zouken found himself kneeling in the graveyard. The blackened mud hissed behind him and his servant still bowed in threads. "So... do we have a deal?" An inquisitive voice left the spider as he perched on a tombstone in front of Zouken. The magus stared for a second and nodded once. "Excellent…. Let's begin."
Asura slammed his fists into the servants, sending all three back. They stood back up and let out loose breaths. "He really is a monster." Lancer spoke as he readied for another bout. Lancer was first to move, slamming his spear into Asura's three left arms, and being knocked back with ease. Saber was next surging forward and unleashing a cyclone of air towards Asura who clenched his fist and slammed into the cyclone causing a fiery torrent to cascade towards Saber. Archer ran around drawing his blades and slicing in a downward arc towards the Asura, all it earned him was a swift strike to the torso and a very fast trip into a stone wall.
They all slowly rose from the earth. "Let's see if he can block us all at the same time." Lancer spoke as his spear roared with a scarlet light. Saber stood and her blade glowed a golden bright and Archer drew his blades, muttering an incantation as they seemed to grow into large swords. "Let's do this!" Asura roared as his entire body was engulfed in flames. All three launched at once. Asura caught all of their blades at once and sang them around the front walkway of the church before launching them into the damaged church.
The fight between Caster and Rin was being drawn out, Illya was out of breath, she was shaking from exhaustion. Rin was wounded slightly and she looked close to running out of her precious gems. While Souichirou broke Shirou's projections and knocked him back. 'I've got a few more in me at least… Illya is on the verge of passing out. Rin whatever you are planning you gotta do it now!' Shirou thought as he projected another pair of blades and charged Souichirou. "You've done well girl, but this ends now!" Caster spoke triumphantly as she aimed another spell at Rin who was kneeling on the cold stone floor only a few meters away from Caster.
"You've done it now!" Rin spoke with a smile as her magi circuits flared to life as she burst towards Caster taking her by surprise. "A magus relying on melee combat?" Caster gasped in a panic as Rin hit her with all the strength she could muster, knocking the wind out of Caster and slammed her against the wall, a loud crack echoed from her as she struggled to stand. "You've lost Caster!" Rin spoke with a smile on her face when Souichirou charged at her forcing Rin to jump backward.
"A clever ploy, you made Caster underestimate you and lower her guard. Though your inexperience is proven in the fact you failed to kill her in one hit." He spoke coldly as Caster struggled to get up. "After all that it still wasn't enough." Shirou spoke in anger. Rin shared his sentiment with an angry glare at Souichirou.
Illya still held the golden orb in her hands as she listened and a growing crashing sound could be heard. "It's alright...our back up has arrived." She said with a small smile. Three servants burst through the walls landing either side of Souichirou and Caster. "Im..Impossible, they were empowered by me, fed almost all the mana we had acquired, HOW?!" an exacerbated cry left her lips as the six-armed demigod strode into the crypt. He looked at Illya, while she was exhausted he saw no mark on her. A silent sigh of relief left his lips as he stood beside her. "With your three servants out of action and you on the verge of collapse you've lost Caster." Rin said triumphantly. Asura let loose a long gasp and the four extra arms burst from his back dispersing in green energy around him. 'Asura, something is amiss, something is very wrong!' The voice of the spider echoed within his mind with a panicked scream. The spider had been quiet for so long Asura had almost forgotten about him. 'What do you mean Bastard!' Asura grunted in response.
Archer slowly stood off the ground as he heard something that repulsed him to his core, a chittering and a hiss of boiling liquid move. Caster looked around. "What is this…" She asked in fear as a black mud started to pour into the area. Lancer slowly stood up only to have a red ribbon-like appendage slice out of the mud hitting him in the chest. He coughed blood in shock, his body too weak from fighting Asura to even fight this near comer. He was dragged into the mud with silent defeat as it engulfed him. A spiral of ribbons zoomed towards Illya, Asura stood in front of them and slashed at them with a wave of the mantra of wrath burning away the mud in that corner of the crypt. 'Asura we need to flee, you've used too much mantra.' The Spider pleaded. "WHAT THE HELL?!" Rin screamed in fear as several ribbons streaked towards her, exhausted from the fight she couldn't move, Emiya shoved her aside as two of the ribbons slashed off his left arm in a violent streak of gore. "SHIROU!" Asura roared in rage as he blasted at the mud, another attack launched towards Rin who cradled the injured Shirou in her arms, tears pouring from her face in horror.
"I am the bone of my sword. Rho Aias!" A multi-layered barrier of purple light formed in front of Rin and Shirou, as Archer stood weakened and exhausted in front of them. "Archer?" Rin spoke in disbelief as the mud poured forth in a terrifying tidal wave of misery. Drowning the wounded Caster and Souichirou. Saber tried to fight it but in her weakened state, the red ribbons pulled her in. 'ASURA WE HAVE TO LEAVE NOW!' The Spider ordered as Asura grabbed Illya, ran to Shirou picking him up as Archer grabbed Rin.
"Hit me later We have bigger problems!" He roared at Asura's bewildered face. The two of them ran through the hole made by Asura during their fight, fleeing the rapidly filling crypt and watched in horror as the church collapsed in on itself, being subsumed by the mud all while a burst of cruel laughter filled the air.
The demigod and the archer ran with all due haste, fleeing towards the Emiya residence.
EDIT - Neo-devil. Sorry, I forgot that the spacing tool used within libra office is different than what FF uses and a lot of the text was forcefully bobbed up. This should be a bit better to read.
