Blood Types, Zodiacs, and Personality Tests-Oh My!
Of their rooms the one the Bakusquad hung out in most was Sero's, because he had a hammock. Of course it wasn't as fun when Bakugou only let Jirou and sometimes Sero into Sero's hammock. This was one such lucky time for Sero to hang out in his own hammock.
But that left Kirishima, Kaminari, and Mina sad and bored. Okay, the boredom wasn't because they weren't in the hammock, but that didn't help. If they were in the hammock they could at least swing, but no Bakugou only let Jirou and Sero in and those two were content to try and catch some z's. Honestly, Sero had been taking naps en masse, so there was no reason for him to try and take a third that day.
Bakugou, was playing Animal Crossing in the hammock, Jirou dozing on his chest and his legs tangled with Sero, grumbling every so often about ugly villagers messing up his town. Kaminari probably would play with him, being the only other Bakusquad member with a switch, except for the fact that he had forgotten his switch in his room and by then he had already rested his head on Mina's thighs and laid down in Sero's bed, which while not the hammock was still incredibly comfy. Kirishima was spread eagled on the floor, staring up at the ceiling. Every so often he would raise his hand up to poke at Bakugou's arm, narrowly avoiding Bakugou swinging down to try and bite his finger while still staring at his screen.
Kirishima and Kaminari had both been content to stare at the ceiling and dissociate. Sero's room was so pretty. How did he get the walls to be that copper-y color. Was it the cool ass light he had somehow managed to put in his room? Oh my gosh, he installed it himself didn't he? Sero was so cool and talented and hardworking! They really didn't appreciate him enough did they? How did he know what exactly would look best in the room and where it should be placed? Did he have to send back stuff? Oh imagine what his room at home looked like! What scent is this incense it's really good and strong but soft and quiet but also-
Mina had tried to get the others to do something, god, anything, but they just hadn' she'd ended up sitting up on Sero's bed with Kaminari's head in her lap, on her phone.
It took about thirty minutes before Mina ended up bursting.
"Hey guys let me guess your blood types!" She exclaimed this with the intensity of three very prominent exclamation marks at the end of her sentence.
It got the desired effect of their attention. Kirishima sat straight up so fast that he didn't stop and ended up hitting his head on the floor because he kept going forward. Kaminari zapped her a little bit which, frankly she was used to by this point. Jirou who had been half asleep jolted awake and her earphone jacks extended down into the floor so fast it looked a little painful. What was more painful but also hilarious was her immediately bringing her jacks back up and saying, "I did not need to hear that." Sero meanwhile just snorted awake.
The funniest one was of course Bakugou who kicked his leg out and screamed, "FUCK OFF!"
"OW -r blood types? Sure go for it dude." Good save Kirishima. Good save.
"I'm not fucking stopping you but if you yell like that for no goddamn fucking reason again I'll rip your tongue out and shove it so far up your ass it'll be back where it's supposed to be and not work. "
Everyone was silent after that descriptive threat. Sero looked a little scared to be in the hammock with Bakugou now. Mina wouldn't be deterred however, "Okay so Kaminari!"
"Yes ma'am!" Still laying down he brought his hand up to salute her.
"Okay, you're energetic! You're friendly and outgoing! You're really spontaneous and kinda irresponsible-"
"HEY-"
"-Hush-and you're fun and happy and nice! You're totally type B!" Mina said this with confidence and a smirk on her face.
"Nah. I'm type O, yo. VERBAL GASP! THAT RHYMED!" While Kaminari marveled at his rhyming skills, Mina's jaw dropped.
""Whaaaat?! No way!"
"Yes way! But you were right about all those other things!"
Mina still pouted, and turned to look at Kirishima, "Okay well, Kiri! You're all those things! You're definitely type B! You just gotta be!" She smiled widely, but that smile dimmed just slightly when Kirishima gave her a sheepish smile back.
"Er well, actually I'm type O as well."
"OH COME ON!"
"Haha- O come on you mean."
"Denki I swear to god-" but she didn't finish, because she had to focus. Did she not know her friends as well as she thought or did the blood type thing just not apply for them. Oh well, two outta five wrong isn't so bad, that's a...a uh...math...number. THAT ISN'T ZERO!
"Okay well...Sero, you're a little more toned down than these dudes but I would still pin you for a type B. But since I've been wrong about that with these guys I'll just say you're type O."
"Actually, I am type B."
"WHAAAAAAT?! SCORE! ONE POINT FOR MINA ASHIDO!"
"Except you said type O." Jirou pointed out.
"ONLY BECAUSE-"
"Getting too loud and here." Bakugou was glaring menacingly at his switch and everyone quieted down for a collective thirty seconds before Mina started back up again.
"Okay well let's do you next Jirou-since my confidence is back which means I can never be wrong again I'm pinning you for type AB. You're super creative and talented, but you're also very calm and rational and smart!" Mina smiled at Jirou like she had smiled at Kirishima, and Jirou gave her back a small appreciative smile and then said-
"You're half right, I'm type A."
"WHAT?!" Ashido yelled before immediately quieting down and staring at Bakugou. Luckily seemed very focused on...whatever he was doing in Animal Crossing now.
"Okay fine, you're type A, I mean I guess it kinda makes sense if you squint at it while upside down. Bakugou."
Bakugou simply gave a grunt which said, 'This is stupid, you're stupid, and were I not completely focused on creating this cute ass dress in Animal Crossing I would tell you very loudly and very angrily how much I do not care but if it'll make you happy fine.'
It was...a very expressive grunt, so long as you spoke Bakugou.
"You're confident, determined, ambitious, strong, competitive, brilliant, strategic, organized, decisive, honest, responsible, logical, arrogant, aggressive, ruthless, and a big dick-"
"-I didn't know you knew half those words-"
"-So I'm I'm gonna say you're type B."
"Nnnnnnnnnope." He drew out a N and popped the P in a deadpan and with that rejection Mina had her confidence boosted again.
"REALLY?! SO YOU ACTUALLY ARE TYPE O THEN?!"
"No, type A."
"WHAT?! THAT MAKES ALMOST LESS SENSE THAN YOU BEING TYPE B!"
"Do I look like I care?"
"UUUUUUGH!"
Mina pouted and crossed her arms. By now Kaminari had decided to sit up next to her and he looked curiously at her.
"Wait so then what are you Mina? I think we'd all pretty much say type B honestly."
"Shows what y'all know, I'm type AB!"
Jirou interjected, "Well now wait a minute, you said that type AB is supposed to be calm, rational, and smart."
"Well yeah , but like, I'm still super creative and talented! And I'm popular and sociable and I love fun and I'm super spontaneous!"
"It does actually make sense, but type AB is supposed to be a mixture of A and B. You've pretty much got B down but not a lot of the A." Sero added in his two cents.
"Well I'm empathetic like an A! Besides yours kind make sense too! Ish…"
"Oh yeah? Try us." Jirou challenged.
"W-well! You Jirou are more empathetic than you realize! You got through to Kouda that one time and your music reaches everyone's hearts! And of course you're very calm and you're very responsible! Also you're a bit more reserved than a lot of other people and-okay don't bite my head off for this- but you're also a lot more cautious than some people. Like, you weren't completely on board with the band at first because you were nervous! And type A's usually have some sort of inner turmoil and anxiety!" Mina finished her rant with a smile.
Jirou did not bite her head off. Instead she blinked and nodded, "That was-"
"And Kaminari! Even if you don't have a lot of O you still have a lot of it. Type O's are optimistic and outgoing! They're go getters and you certainly go get! And you've definitely got the confidence down! And a lot of type O people are really generous even though they don't always show it and so are you! And they're really reliable and loyal, and you'll always have our backs no matter what! They're trendsetters and you love your trends! And-and! They are devoted and carefree! There is no one more carefree in the school than you!"
"W-wow-"
"And that goes for you too Kiri! You're more loyal and devoted than anyone else in this school! You are super outgoing and optimistic! You believe in the best in everyone-EVEN VILLAINS! You're so determined and so strong! You have the best will of all of us! You're athletic! And you're generous! Holy crap are you generous! You're so resilient and passionate! And even though you don't believe it, we all know you're a better leader than you give yourself credit for! You just gotta take charge more!"
Kiri had manly tears of manliness in his eyes, thought Mina didn't notice, "M-Mina-"
"AND BAKUGOU YOU LISTEN UP! You are committed ! You are loyal! Oh my gosh and you're organized and you have great plans always! And you're clever! And passionate! And of course you're stubborn! Like I said earlier you are responsible! You're a total perfectionist and obsess over getting things right-I mean you're doing it right now with your game! And even though you won't admit it you're sensitive! You care about how people see you and you care about us and you stress yourself out over things but you shouldn't have to! ALL LIKE TYPE A!"
Bakugou looked torn between yelling about being called sensitive and anxious or giving one of of his rare real smiles at her over this, "Bub-"
"NO DON'T INTERRUPT ME I'M ON A ROLL!" Mina pulled out her phone and went to her calendar.
"AMERICAN ZODIACS! I DON'T KNOW THESE AS WELL BUT THAT WON'T STOP ME! Oh wow I didn't realize how many of us were Leos-WHATEVER LET'S DO THIS!"
"JIROU! YOU ARE A LIONESS! You are meant to be on the stage! Did you even see yourself while you were singing and rocking out during the concert?! You commanded that stage like it was your bitch . You were the one in charge and it was wonderful! YOU'RE SO SO PASSIONATE! You put your heart into everything you do. And you're so honest and courageous and kind ! You are so awesome!"
She didn't even wait this time, she just kept going.
"AND SERO! MY MAN! MY LION! You are warm ! You make people feel comforted just by your presence just because you are so chill but at the same time SO ENERGETIC! And you are passionate! AND YOU'RE CHARISMATIC LIKE-I DON'T EVEN HAVE A WORD FOR IT! You can charm anyone because you're so good! AND YOU'RE LIKE JIROU-KIND AND BRAVE! YOU'RE LOYAL AND PROTECTIVE! YOU'RE AWESOME TO!
"AND KAMI! Oh Kami my sweet sweet Cancer. THE CRAB! You are so empathetic! You understand people's emotions without needing them to tell you you just see it and you go to make them feel better! You-you intuit it! And you're compassionate! And you're creative! I've seen what you write, you freaking Cancer you! And like I've said you're loyal ! Oh my god you're loyal Kaminari! Kami you're so great!
"KIRI! A LIBRA! SCALES OF JUSTICE! YOU HAVE SO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE! YOU'RE OVERFLOWING WITH IT! And you're charming! And lovable! And so sincere and fair ! This is part of the reason why you're such a good hero and why you need to accept you make a good leader! You are so kind! AND LOYAL! LOYAL! ALWAYS LOYAL! KIRIIIII!"
Mina was gasping for breath, but even that didn't stop her.
"AND WAS THERE EVER A MAN WHO MORE ENCAPSULATED AN ARIES TAURUS CUSP WITH ARIES LEANINGS THAN BAKUGOU! You are dominant and strong! You are so full of life and passion! And you're an amazing leader and hardworking and strategic and determined and independent! Bakugou you are so confident and smart and powerful! And you're still generous in your own Bakugou-y way and we all know it!"
She was gasping more, and before anyone could get a word in she was off again.
"THIS IS FUN! OKAY OKAY-WHAT'S NEXT UUUUH?! OH MBTIS AND ENNEAGRAMS! OKAY UUUUUH-"
"Mina-" several voice tried to say.
"OKAY WELL BAKUGOU IS DEFINITELY AN ENTJ-or is he INTJ? OH-"
"MINA!" And now she was startled because everyone-including Bakugou-had yelled at her.
"Mina," now it was just Kirishima who looked a little weepy, "Mina dude, you're so fucking awesome." And then Mina had a giant pile of muscle on her, which was succeeded by Kaminari, Sero and Jirou.
"We get it, you love us and you love pointing it and our good traits out with personality tests and shit like zodiacs and blood types. We get it. Calm down." And then Jirou was gently hugging her while also looking very pointedly at Bakugou.
He stood up and sat behind and wrapped his left arm around her while he used his right to hold out what he'd been doing on his switch to her.
She heard a whisper of, "Tell the rest about this and you're dead." An empty threat that Mina nonetheless followed because honestly? She was too moved by what he was showing her.
It was a bright and gaudy pink dress he'd been making in Animal Crossing. Specifically a dress that seemed to be part of a series of dresses he'd made based off of them . That was so sweet and goofy that she was about to cry.
"We love you, Mina." And that was Kaminari. She couldn't help but start laughing as she decided to tickle her friends. This turned into war, as most things with the Bakusquad turned into.
While they were all a pile of flailing limbs on the floor Bakugou watched on before turning back to his game.
Stupid idiots.
