Chapter 25

Sayuki stared at herself in the mirror as she brushed her hair softly. The eyes that stared back at her were dark and blank. The loud ringing from her hand phone broke her from the trance and she reached out to her phone to see Tezuka Kuniharu calling.

"I don't think you can cure that son of mine. He is a lost cause. Find yourself a fine young man, Sawada. You deserve better." The old man said curtly.

"But- but I…" The line was disconnected before she had a chance to reply. "I want Tezuka..." She completed her sentence to the empty room.

She cast her phone aside and reached back for her hair brush as she continued to stare at her reflection in the vanity mirror. She could feel anger boiling within her. She raised her gaze to the mirror and scrutinized the details of her face, turning her head to different angles as she continued to check her reflection out.

She does not understand, she is beautiful, she knows this as it has been the sentence that accompanies her everywhere she goes ever since she was a child. She has had no trouble getting any man wrapped around her finger, so why should Tezuka be any different. Why don't you see me Tezuka? Why!

She gripped the wooden handle of the hair brush tightly before hurling it at the mirror. She stared at her reflection as they became distorted through the broken glass and she screamed at herself, pulling her hair in frustration.

As she kept staring at the warped reflection of herself on the broken mirror, a smile slowly etched across her lips. Someone must have bewitched him. That man. The blind man. Sayuki does not know how he did that in this century, but that must be how he enchanted Tezuka. Why else would Tezuka fall for someone like him? That's right, Tezuka loves me, he just could not escape that devil's grasp. Sayuki laughed hysterically. Don't worry Tezuka, I will free you from the devil, and then you'll see I'm the one you've wanted all along.

Sayuki reached for the car keys and ran out the house, towards her car. The image of Fuji in her head made her scream in rage. Just wait, you devil! I will not let you take Tezuka away from me! How dare you keep my Tezuka away from me! He's mine..Mine!

.

Sayuki drove carelessly through the traffic, running the red lights and almost got herself into an accident with a truck. Her mind was too loud and her thoughts were racing. A roller coaster of emotions were running through her. Rage, excitement, vengeance, all jumbled up in her head. She ran her hand through her hair in frustration. Slow down! It's too loud!

She hit the brake abruptly when a silhouette crossed the road causing her to be thrown forward, the seatbelt straining against her. The screeching sound of the car coming to a stop startled the pedestrian who had dropped on his bottom.

Her phone rang and Sayuki saw the name Tooru with heart emojis displayed across the screen. Her lips curved into a smile.

"Tooru…"

"Nee san, where are you? The maids told me you crashed the garage before you went out? Are you okay?"

"Tooru, I was just about to call you! I'm finally setting things straight, Tooru. Everything will be alright again. Just wait and see." Sayuki could feel her hands trembling with excitement. She reached into her bag and felt the smooth, cold metal against her hand and let out a sigh of exhilaration. I should have thought of this sooner. She thought to herself with a smile.

"It might not seem like it but I'm about to do something that could save the two of us and we'll finally be happy."

"What are you planning to do, nee san? Who is this 'us' ? Please tell me where you are now?" Tooru's voice was full of worry.

"Nothing bad..." She drawled playfully. "Well, not too bad I suppose..." She laughed. "Yes, definitely not bad considering what he's done." Her voice was laced with malice. "Let's just say I can finally be with Tezuka if I play it right." She smiled in satisfaction.

"Nee san! Tell me what you're planning to do!"

"Ah,Tooru chan...you're always so sweet to me. Always worried even for the tiniest things. What did I do to deserve such a good baby brother, hmm? But you don't have to worry about me anymore . I'm gonna make things right."

"I'm begging you, nee san, please tell me where you are!" Tooru was starting to sound desperate.

"See you in a bit my baby Tooru..."

She ended the call and her hands reached into her bag again, fishing out the gun she had slipped in before leaving the house earlier. She marveled at the 9 x 19mm parabellum Rudger P89 handgun, wondering what beautiful sound it would make when her hands pull the trigger. Probably something akin to victory as she would finally be free to pursue Tezuka, she thought happily.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard banging on the car window. She turned to see the man she had almost sent flying just now waving his hand angrily at her. She narrowed her eyes in annoyance before speeding away, leaving the man shouting in frustration.

Fuji sat on the couch with his feet propped up on the coffee table, one hand reaching lazily for the box of chocolates Tezuka had brought over earlier that morning. Now that Tezuka was living with him, Fuji's fridge is always full with food and sometimes Tezuka would bring him flowers when he gets home and Fuji would sniff them happily. You really do spoil me, Kunimitsu...Fuji smiled to himself in bliss.

He flicked through the channels on the television and settled on some random soap opera. He loves listening to soap operas because any action movie would leave him frustrated as he could not see the scenes. His mind wandered off to Tezuka and he sighed. He knew Tezuka had been quite stressed, trying to come up with a solution as he is currently jobless. He had gone to see Atobe to discuss a business proposition and Fuji hoped Tezuka would soon be able to get back on his feet. A part of him felt guilty for putting Tezuka in this position but he knew Tezuka was not someone who would give up easily and soon enough he would be back in the game. All that is left is for Tezuka's family to accept them, Fuji thought to himself with a sigh.

A loud knock on the door brought Fuji's mind back to the present. Who could it be? Kunimitsu has a key so it can't be him.

He opened the door a crack. "Yes, who is it?" Fuji waited for an answer but there was none. "Hello?" Fuji frowned.

Must be kids messing around, Fuji thought to himself as he started to close the door but when he sensed someone breathing he stood frozen and panic started to creep within him. "Is anyone here?"

"Are you Fuji Syusuke?" A female voice spoke.

Sayuki took in the sight before her. Honey brown hair framed an oval shaped face with clear skin and wide set eyes stared ahead in surprise. Sayuki stared at those eyes in front of her. There were blue and deep, with thick eyelashes guarding them. Sayuki looked away and snorted. Fine, he has pretty eyes, but what's the point if he's blind.

She eyed him from head to toe and saw the old washed out t-shirt and loose pants he was wearing. So very plain and unflattering. What does Tezuka even see in him?

"Y-yes. May I help you?" Fuji asked warily.

"Yes, you can help me…" By leaving this world, she thought to herself. Seeing Fuji in person only fueled her hatred towards him even more.

"Actually, I'm Tezuka's lover..." She smiled to herself as she saw Fuji's face change upon hearing those words.

Fuji's eyes widened slightly. "Pardon me?"

"I'm Tezuka Kunimitsu's lover, his girlfriend." She stressed out her words.

"I think you're mistaken miss, Kunimitsu is my lover and as far as I know he doesn't have more than one lover. Would you excuse me, please." Fuji was preparing to close the door but Sayuki stuck her foot in, holding the door back.

"My, my, how confident of you. You seem so sure that Tezuka will not cheat on you. What sorcery did you use to bewitch him, huh"

"Excuse me?" Fuji was astounded by the woman's immaturity and her illogical suggestion that Fuji had bewitched Tezuka. He had a bad feeling about this woman.

"I said what did you do to him! He used to love me but you came and ruined that! Poor Tezuka, now he wouldn't even look me in the eyes anymore."

"I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about. Kunimitsu has never mentioned you to me before so I think you're mistaken. Please leave now, miss." Fuji had no idea who this woman was but she seemed unstable and it got him a little scared.

"How dare you dismiss me! You good for nothing nobody! I'm telling you Tezuka loves me! But you bewitched him and got him under your grasp!" Sayuki's voice was high and her breathing was ragged.

Fuji took a deep breath and tried to hold his anger. "Please leave now before I call the cops." He said with a firm voice.

Sayuki tried to contain her laughter but it escaped her mouth a little. "I don't think you can do that."

"Why is that?"

"Do you know what's pointing at you now? Blind people sure are cute." She laughed maniacally, and Fuji could feel his blood run cold.

When her laughter died down, she spoke. "It's a baby I just bought from a really really bad man. Ahh it's so small but from what I know it can be very loud when needed to, you know like the one you watch in cop movies, bang bang, and there will be blood everywhere." Her voice was oddly calm and it frightened Fuji even more.

"I've always wanted one when I was small." She looked at her revolver affectionately before her eyes darted to Fuji's pale face.

"Here, touch it if you don't believe me. It won't bite you know." She chuckled lowly as she pressed the nuzzle against Fuji's chest. "But it can put a hole through you." She threw her head back and let out a humorless laugh.

Fuji's body went rigid as he felt the cold metal object against his chest. A drop of sweat trickled down his temple as he gulped dryly. Never in his life has he felt this scared. Life flashed before his eyes, bad ones, good ones, Tezuka. Is this how I'm going to die?

"W-what is your name miss?" Fuji tried to not show how afraid he really was.

"Why do I need to tell you that? You want to stall your death? You think I'm stupid?" Sayuki narrowed her eyes in annoyance.

"I'm sorry that Kunimitsu chose me but-" Fuji did not manage to finish as Sayuki cut him mid sentence.

"Stop talking or I'll put a hole in your body now!" She pushed the gun harder into Fuji's chest and Fuji's lips trembled.

A gasp was heard and Sayuki turned to see an old lady covering her mouth as she trembled in fear. A crowd had gathered around the apartment next to Fuji's without her realizing. They backed away as she looked at them. Some mothers hurried away with their children while some stood there frozen in fear as Sayuki shot them a cold glare.

Fuji heard the commotion and prayed that they had alerted the police. He felt the revolver move away from his chest and let out the breath he had been holding.

"What are you all looking at?! Do you people want to die so badly?!' She pointed the gun at the crowd. "Go away!" she shot randomly at the air and the crowd screamed before scrambling away. Fuji flinched at the sound of the explosion. He heard the crowd scream and prayed that Sayuki had not hurt anyone. The last thing he wanted was for other people to be hurt because of him.

"Nee san! Stop it!" A male voice said urgently. Fuji was slightly relieved that someone finally stepped in to stop the woman, he was too scared to even blink. He was truly grateful to this person.

"Tooru chan?" Sayuki's eyes searched for the source of the voice and she flashed a wide smile when she noticed her brother walking towards her. "Did you come here to witness this glorious day, Tooru?"

"What you're doing is wrong nee san! Please release Fuji san." He pleaded.

Fuji thought the voice sounded familiar. And they're siblings?

"Wrong?" Sayuki's demeanor changed into an angry one. "How is it wrong to fight for the one you love! I'm saving Tezuka from this evil witch! He made Tezuka fall for him!" Sayuki's voice trembled with anger.

"Nee san please! You're not well! I saw the pills you chucked in the bin. How long have you not been taking your medications?"

"Stop it Tooru chan! I am fine. I feel great! I don't need those pills. All I need is to take care of this mess brought upon by this witch!" She spun around and pointed the gun back at Fuji.

Fuji flinched in surprise when he felt the attention being brought back to him. Even though he could not see, he could feel the pressure of the gun pointing at him.

"Once I'm done with him all will be right again and Tezuka will be by my side." She smiled.

Tooru walked carefully towards his sister. "Give me the gun nee san, and then we'll talk..." He extended his hand towards her.

"Stop treating me like a child Tooru! I'm sick of this!" Sayuki stomped her foot. "I hate it when you and mom and dad treat me like this! You think I'm crazy?! I'm not! Can't you see I have to do this for my happiness?! All you and mom care about are those damned pills! What about my happiness, huhh! Why don't you care about that!" Sayuki broke down in tears.

Fuji heard the woman crying. So she's ill? That explains all of these messed up feelings. Poor woman, if only she had found a guy who could really love her.

"Nee san..."

"I need to kill him! Only then Tezuka will love me!" Sayuki turned her head to her brother. "You understand right Tooru? You know I have to do this. Right?" She blinked at her brother.

"Nee san..." Tooru walked closer to his sister and pulled her into a hug. One hand reached for the gun softly and tried to pry it out of her hand but Sayuki gripped it tighter. "N-no, I will not give this to you. No! I have to kill him. I have to kill him." Sayuki shook her head as tears streamed down her face.

Tooru wrapped his arms around her and rubbed a hand down her back softly. She leaned against him, sobbing into his chest. "Why won't he love me, Tooru, why..." She said in between sobs.

Tooru pulled away from the hug and looked at his sister. Her hair was matted to her wet cheeks and her mascara ran in streaks down her face. He tucked her hair behind her ears. "Nee san...We can't force people to love us. You know that, don't you..." A finger wiped her tears gently.

"But why...I'm perfect...I'm perfect aren't I, Tooru..." She smiled at him through her tears. "Why can't he see that..." She sobbed.

"Yes, you're perfect, you have so much to offer to the world nee san, but Tezuka is not the one for you...And that's not a bad thing. You just haven't found the right person for you, that's all..." Tooru said in a soothing voice.

Sayuki's lips turned downwards and she wailed. "But I want him! I want him Tooru..."

"Nee san, please..." Tooru held her as she cried like a child. "We don't always get what we want, nee san...we will get you well and then you will find the man of your dreams, okay? Tezuka san loves Fuji san so we should let them be, alright?"

Sayuki looked up at Tooru in tears and pointed to Fuji. "Why does he get to keep Tezuka? What's so special about him?"

"Nee san, we don't get to choose who we love..." He caressed her hair softly. His heart clenched as he looked at his sister. This was not her first breakdown and Tooru knew he had to help her through this.

"Why don't we go home, nee san? We will get you to therapy and everything will be fine, okay? Let's just put all this behind us…" Tooru tried to calm his sister down. He was used to her mood swings but ever since his sister laid her eyes on Tezuka, she had been adamant about making him hers and Tooru had found it difficult to change her mind.

"How about we go eat at your favourite restaurant after this, hmm? Or better yet, how about we go for a vacation? It's been too long anyways." Tooru smiled at his sister, hoping the change of conversation will lift her mood up, but all he saw was a distant and vacant look in her eyes.

Sayuki looked at her feet before facing her brother again. She looked worn out and her eyes seemed empty. The voices in her head had stopped and all that was left now was an empty, endless void. When she saw her brother looking at her with eyes full of worry, his hands fidgeting nervously by his sides as he put on a strained smile for her benefit, it evoked a different kind of emotion in her. A ray of light penetrated her fortress of emptiness and broke through the delusions that had driven her to come this far. Tears began to well in her eyes again as she thought about all the times she had ran around doing anything she wanted, leaving her brother to pick up the pieces she left and she would stand cowardly behind the fact that she was diagnosed as not being mentally stable, when it was really her doing anything she can to get the thing that she wants.

She blinked rapidly as things started to come into perspective. Her eyes went to the gun she was holding and her hand trembled as the severity of her actions finally dawned upon her. What am I doing?

She looked up at her brother and tears ran down her cheeks."Oh, Tooru….I've been a bad nee san haven't I...Always putting you in this position...letting you clean up after my mess…"

One hand reached up to cover her eyes as the tears rolled down steadily. As she began to reflect on her actions, a single word kept popping up in her head. Pathetic. You're so pathetic Sayuki. Putting a man before everything else, a man that does not care about you no less. She thought about all the times she had acted irrationally and how each time her brother was there to look after her. It broke her heart when she realized how much she had taken her family and her brother for granted.

"Nee san, don't cry. You're not bad, you're the best sister anyone could ask for…" Tooru reached out to move Sayuki's hand away from her face. "It's okay nee san, we'll get through this...we can get through this together."

Sayuki nodded weakly through her tears. A small smile formed on her lips as she looked at her brother and saw the earnest look in his eyes. "I promise, I will try to get better Tooru...Thank you for always being there for me."

Tooru was about to pull his sister into a hug before he heard footsteps and a voice behind him.

"Drop the gun miss." A gruff voice spoke and Tooru turned to see three policemen in bulletproof vests walking towards them, guns aiming at Sayuki.

Tooru moved in front of his sister with his hands up in the air. "D-don't shoot, don't shoot. She's not well, please.."

Tooru heard the sound of metal hitting the ground and turned to see his sister dropping the gun to the ground. "It's okay Tooru, everything will be fine." Sayuki smiled at her brother before walking towards the policeman.

Sayuki knew she had to do the right thing and not be a burden to her brother anymore. The policeman took out a handcuff and she extended her hands towards him willingly.

"Are you okay, sir?" Another cop walked towards Fuji and brought him to safety.

"Y-yes, I'm fine..." Fuji's heart was still thumping loudly against his chest. He brought a hand up to his chest, trying to calm his raging heartbeat. Everything felt surreal, one second ago he thought of death, and now he could not describe his feelings. Feelings of relief, fear and confusion were all stirring up inside him. All he wanted in that moment was to be in Tezuka's embrace, the place he feels most safe in.

Tooru looked at the policeman cuffing his sister and panic rushed through him. "N-no, you can't! She's not well!" Tooru fished out a letter from his pocket. "She has a condition! You can see here! You can't arrest her!" Tooru thrusted the letter towards the policeman.

"No, we still have to take her to the station. She is in possession of a firearm and she used it to threaten a civilian."

"Fuji san please! Tell them to not take my sister! I'm sorry she did this, but she really is not well!" Tooru begged Fuji.

Fuji was startled from his daze when he heard the voice which was directed to him. He could hear the desperation in the boy's voice and felt bad for him. This boy must love his sister so much. He was about to speak when the policemen interrupted. "He has no say in this young man. Your sister has a gun which I'm pretty sure is not registered, so we will have to take her to the station either way. You can talk to the sergeant there about her condition and we will see how it goes."

"Tooru chan, It's okay...I'll be fine." Sayuki's heart clenched yet again when she saw the state her brother was in. She was the older sibling and yet it was always Tooru who looked after her. "Just meet me at the station with the lawyer, okay?"

Tooru gulped and nodded nervously with his eyes wide. "I will be there nee san!" He ran to her and gripped her hands in his tightly.

Two cops escorted Sayuki away with Tooru following closely behind, while one stayed behind to ensure Fuji's safety.

"Are you sure you're okay, sir? Is there anyone you would like to call?" The cop asked Fuji. Fuji was about to answer when he heard someone calling out his name.

"Syusuke! Oh my god, Syusuke! Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?" Tezuka ran towards Fuji and pulled him to a hug. His heart had nearly stopped when he heard people downstairs talking about a gun and a crazy woman and Fuji's name came up. The ride up the stairs had been the most dreadful ten seconds of his life.

"Mitsu!" Fuji held on tightly to Tezuka, inhaling his scent as if it could erase the previous tense experience he had gone through.

Tezuka pulled away from the hug to look at Fuji's face. "Are you sure you're okay? Maybe we should go to the hospital…"

"N-no, no, I just want to be with you. Don't let go of me…" Fuji leaned into Tezuka's chest and buried his face there. Feeling the warmth radiating from Tezuka and the strong arms holding him tight made him feel at peace and he wanted to stay that way.

"Okay, okay, love...Let's go inside…" Tezuka nodded at the policeman, signaling him that he could take it from there. He guided Fuji back into the house slowly and closed the door behind him, all the while still holding Fuji in his embrace.

He walked to the couch and sat down, pulling Fuji into his lap as he kissed the top of his head. "It's okay, Syusuke...You're safe now."

Fuji nodded against Tezuka's chest. Listening to Tezuka's steady heartbeat calmed his senses and he could feel himself relaxing as the adrenaline from the previous incident finally washed away.

It was a hectic day for Sayuki at the business party, the people there really went out of their way to impress her. It might be due to her position in the business league or simply because they were attracted to her. She especially despised this one particular man, an old scum that could not keep his filthy, wrinkly hand to himself as he deliberately groped her butt through the night. The old geezer probably thought Sayuki was into him since she was all polite with him the whole night. He was a friend of her father's and if it was not for that Sayuki would probably have smacked his hand away.

"Dirty old fucker! I'll make sure that his wife knows this! Did he think he can fuck me with his wrinkly little dick? I'll cut his penis and make him eat it in front of me if he does that next time!" Sayuki muttered angrily as she crossed the road. Too absorbed in her own thoughts, she failed to notice the traffic light had turned red. Sbe was brought back to reality when she heard a loud honk and the blinding light of a car speeding towards her. The thoughts in her head were silenced as she stood frozen in the middle of the road, unable to move a muscle and eyes bulging wide.

"Watch it!" A firm hand grabbed her arm and pulled her to the roadside within a second.

Sayuki stood frozen in the stranger's hold as she tried to register what had happened. The speeding car did not stop and Sayuki watched as it slowly disappeared from her view. She had a sudden image of her as a bloody mess on the road had things gone differently and she shuddered.

"That was dangerous. Are you okay?" A deep voice spoke.

Sayuki looked up at her savior and immediately her gaze was fixed to the stranger's face. She knew this guy, she occasionally saw him in business conventions. He always struck her as being a little different from the other men she knew. He usually stays quiet and only mutters words when it was necessary either in business meetings or with friends. He at first seemed a little boring to her but the way he carries himself and the authoritative air around him had sort of piqued her interest in the past but not too much that it kept her thinking about him at night. He does not say much, but when he does, people stop and listen to him.

As Sayuki stared at him now, new emotions began to stir up inside her. She has never seen him this close and now that she has, it got her a bit flustered. She thought it was interesting how he could be this close to her and yet still maintain that stoic face. Sayuki knew the effect that she has on men and seeing this man not affected in the slightest made her feel a little excited.

She could see from his eyes that he was waiting for an answer but she did not remember the question. She had been too busy thinking about him that she had completely missed the question. "W-what?" She had wanted to sound confident but her voice came out flustered and tiny.

"I said are you okay?"

Sayuki wondered if it was possible to find a voice so attractive. The manner in which he spoke left tiny butterflies in her stomach. Get a grip Sayuki, she said to herself before replying. "Oh yes, I'm fine. Thank you."

The moment she said she was fine, the firm grasp on her arm loosened and Tezuka removed his hand. Sayuki could feel the spot their skin had come into contact with tingling and she gulped as she realized she had never felt this way before.

"You need to be careful next time. Did you not see the light turn red?" Tezuka said, his voice a little stern. "What are you even doing here Sawada san?"

"You know my name?" Sayuki did not expect this and she blinked in surprise.

"Of course I recognize you, I bet you know who I am as well." Tezuka answered honestly.

"Yes, yes, we've had a few meetings together..." Sayuki composed herself and gave him a coy smile as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, a move which had been able to make men swoon over her in the past through years of experience. She looked down, feeling a little embarrassed as she realized the move did not have any effect on Tezuka.

"You have not answered my question Sawada san, what are you doing here?" The deep voice spoke again, not altered at all by Sayuki's flirtatious attempt.

The question had her questioning herself too. "Oh… I-I don't know. I didn't realize where my feet had taken me. I sometimes have so many thoughts in my head and without noticing it I would end up somewhere else subconsciously." She stopped talking as she realized she had said something that does not make sense.

"Ah, sorry… it must have sounded weird to you." She said, sounding a little sheepish.

Tezuka let out a soft chuckle and Sayuki's eyes flew up to him in surprise. I didn't know you were capable of making that sound, she thought to herself, feeling a little happy at being able to elicit that response from Tezuka.

"No, I get it. Sometimes I find myself in one of those situations too." Tezuka answered.

"You do?"Sayuki stared at Tezuka in disbelief.

"Yes, but it's dangerous to be out here with you dressed like that. I should send you home. If you would allow me of course."

Sayuki stared down at herself. She was clad in a black dress that was a little too short and a little too tight and hugged her body in all the right places. Had any other man voiced out his opinion on what she was wearing, she would have lashed out in rage, but hearing those words come out of Tezuka's mouth sounded different. He was not being patronizing, he was simply concerned for her safety.

Sayuki looked at the car parked on the roadside, the headlights were on and the driver's door was opened wide. Tezuka must have rushed out to save her. He must be very kind, she thought to herself.

"Yes, I would love to." She blushed.

"Come, you'll get cold if you stay here any longer." Tezuka extended his hand to Sayuki which she took gratefully. He led her to the passenger seat and closed the door for her.

"Thank you Tezuka san..."

"Don't beat it."

"I'm beat!" The cop next to her yawned in their ride to the police station. "I've never handled a case of gunfire before. Thank god you're docile." The cop snickered at her.

Sayuki looked at the man briefly before averting her head in the opposite direction.

Her mind continued recounting the memory of when she had fallen for Tezuka. It was a first for her, falling for someone. After that encounter, Sayuki had tried numerous times to catch Tezuka's attention, all of which failed spectacularly. Tezuka was different from any other man she had met. In hindsight, she realized now she and Tezuka would not have matched, they are just too different and they want different things in life. However, feelings are not something you can simply turn off and she still feels deeply for Tezuka.

I suppose Tooru was right, we don't always get what we want in life. She sighed as she rested her head on the window. She stared outside the window, feeling nostalgic and at times her eyes would land on the cuffs around her hands. Her intentions were good, she wanted to make Tezuka happy for making her happy that time, but it seems fate would not allow that. Fate does work in mysterious ways she thought to herself as her mind strayed to Fuji, the person Tezuka had chosen to walk alongside him in life. She hoped that Fuji could make Tezuka happy. Fuji, the blind man with the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen. He seemed kind. How fitting for Tezuka, she smiled to herself.
