On the day of Kise's photo shoot, Himeragi arrived at the town square, checking her emails on her phone and slinging her light blue crossbody bag loosely around her right shoulder. Before she came to a halt, someone held the strap of her bag and pulled her toward them. As Kise realized he used a bit too much strength to pull her toward him because their faces were very close, Himeragi didn't back away, not forgetting what happened the previous day. Kise didn't either, blushing and muttering an apology. Kise always attracted attention wherever he went so girls everywhere marveled that he was a handsome boy.
"Hi hi." She greeted him back and realized it wasn't a challenge but just a whim, quickly moving his face away from hers.
"Is this because I stopped answering your stickers last night?" He shook his head and blushed, happy that she came out to meet him.
"I don't know if I should say this…"
"Then you'd better not." Midorima intervened, separating Kise from Himeragi.
"Seriously… Why are you here, Midorimacchi?!" When it was supposed to be his day off with Himeragi, Midorima came charging in, refusing to allow Kise to hog Himeragi's attention. He was expecting the third wheels to be Aomine, Momoi and Kuroko and felt significantly worse with Midorima here instead.
"Fool. I am here to make sure you don't take your bet too far."
"More concretely, what do you mean, Midorima-kun?" Kuroko and Momoi, the self-invited guests who didn't tell Midorima about Kise's behavior the prior day, also arrived. Aomine had stayed home to sleep, his excuse being that if he saw Kise on the weekend, his mood would worsen. When Kise fired back that he didn't want to see Aomine either, Momoi took the chance to send it as a voice message that Aomine may or may not listen to.
"Don't ask questions you already know the answer to, Kuroko." As Momoi wondered why this person came onto the scene just to bother Kuroko and Kise, Kise ignored the newcomer to ask Momoi for input.
"What season should we have Azu-cchi model for, Momocchi?"
"Since it's indoors, it has to be summer! In fact, make the theme, 'the last of summer'!" As if they were conspiring together, Kise affirmed her idea too quickly.
"Kise-kun, it'd be best to leave that to a stylist." Kuroko said, seeing right through Kise, who had a dress in mind for Himeragi to wear. As he panicked a bit and Momoi giggled because she knew what dress it was, Midorima grew even more suspicious of Kise.
"I swear, I'm just—"
"I mean regardless of whether or not you explain yourself, the photoshoot is being done with your preferences in mind, no?" Himeragi cut in, noticing that his fangirls were very interested in their conversation. Kise concealed his blush, calming himself down as he knew Himeragi was purposely teasing him. But preferences aside, he needed to make sure she was disguised enough that people who didn't know her well wouldn't recognize her.
"Your blue eyes are very very pretty, Azu-cchi but we'll probably have to have you wear colored lenses."
"I don't mind." Since Kise drew attention to her irises, Midorima and Kuroko looked into her eyes as well, as she returned their stares. But Momoi was not pleased to see Kuroko also feeling nervous.
"Tetsu-kun, please don't blush! Look at me instead!"
"Why are all these people always so loud…" Midorima sighed, as Himeragi agreed with him.
"Leave it to me, Ki-chan!" Kise worried that he'd be scrutinized and would not have uninterrupted time with Himeragi but smiled, since Momoi was bound to have good ideas. When they arrived at the studio, Momoi ushered Himeragi into the fitting room for females, as Kise walked with Kuroko and Midorima into the adjacent male fitting room.
"Kise-kun seems disappointed that we're here."
"Honestly yes. But it's alright because Azu-cchi is looking at me today." Kise still hadn't said all he wanted to say about Himeragi's acceptance of Akashi's treatment but he had the entire day to show her a good time. With a serious expression, he got dressed in a denim blue long sleeve with white shorts and white sneakers. When he put the white cap on his head, Kuroko could guess Himeragi's appearance. After all, part of the theme of the photo shoot was the "couple's look."
"What do you guys think?" Momoi came out first and following her was Himeragi, wearing a white t-shirt under a blue overall dress with buttons on the side. Midorima couldn't recognize her with the yellow contacts and wavy, let down hair.
"W-Who…?" Midorima asked the question because this side of her fit his type and his head couldn't grasp how a slight change in eye color or hairstyle could accomplish this.
"Momoi-san, it looks like Midorima-kun has been lovestruck by Azusa-san's beauty." They teased, as Midorima told both of them to stop smirking. Something about her eye color matching Kise's hair color made him grin.
"Well then, shall we go, partner?" He asked, putting his cap backwards on her head. Himeragi laughed, showing him a smile that made Midorima slightly jealous that he was just a spectator. Since it was a sporty look, there was no need to get into an unnatural pose: the two just took turns passing a basketball.
"It almost doesn't look like they're any different from normal. Azu-chan played against Ki-chan and Aomine-kun after all." Kuroko recalled when he went to the park and saw Himeragi stealing the ball from Kise and Momoi recalled seeing Himeragi putting up a fight against Aomine. Midorima filled in the blanks himself, having figured that Himeragi would eventually attempt such acts to bring the team back together. "I think it'd be interesting if Azu-chan played against Midorin~ from what I saw, her jumps catch even Aomine-kun by surprise." Just imagining Midorima blushing and being unable to shoot the ball made Kuroko stifle a laugh. Midorima, although he would never admit to it, also imagined Himeragi's smiling face as she blocked him from shooting.
"I wonder what they're laughing about." Himeragi said, before Kise walked up to her. With the basketball in her hands, she watched Kise wipe some sweat off her forehead, creating an unintentionally good shot for the photographer.
"We're having our own fun over here too!" Himeragi agreed, as Midorima told him to get his hand off of her face to no avail. "Quick question, do I have to ask every time I want to hug you?"
"Why are you going to hug me?"
"Because I want to? Is that not allowed, Azu-cchi?" His puppy eyes didn't work on her and he knew that but he worked hard to win the bet so that today's main characters were the two of them.
"Just tell me before you do it, okay?" He immediately said "hug," wrapping his arms around her body to show how excited he was. The photographer took pictures from the front of the hug and views of their individual expressions.
"It's surprising that you're not taking any photos, Momoi-san. I expected that you'd want many photos of Azusa-san."
"Oh the fun is just beginning~" On top of the photos that Kise promised her, Momoi was ready to capture the cutest reactions from Himeragi. Her radiant smile would surely be photographed by the professional. Momoi was after the unusual reactions, particularly Himeragi's elusive embarrassed face. The next outfit was created with the "lovely girl" image in mind and consisted of a white three-fourths sleeve blouse and a matching chiffon pink skirt paired with white ruffle socks and white Mary Jane shoes. Kise came out with a short sleeve white t-shirt, pink vintage shorts and white sneakers. He wore the cap this time. The longer Midorima looked at Himeragi's entire demeanor lighting up because of a small, white Maltese dog, the more red his ears turned.
"To be so excited over a mere dog, how simple." he said, looking away as Kuroko concealed laughter. Even though he wasn't doing anything, Kuroko found enough entertainment as is, teasing Midorima. Momoi was excited to see how enthusiastic Himeragi was about holding Kise's manager's dog, ushering it to come closer.
"Azu-cchi, pay attention to me too…" When the puppy jumped onto Kise's lap, Himeragi ruffled behind its ear with one hand and used her other hand to touch Kise's cheek. Kise laughed, letting the puppy return to Himeragi's embrace. In the name of Himeragi's smile, Momoi brought the dog along when Himeragi went to change, before the boys heard Himeragi reject the next outfit.
"It's okay if you don't want to wear it since we have other outfits but what a waste~"
"I'm not about to go out there and have photographs taken with a crop top on. Satsuki, don't take photos!" The boys could picture what was going on and Midorima finally caught on to Kuroko's provocations, telling him not to dare and say anything about Himeragi's belly button. The outfit was scrapped and Momoi's disappointment was replaced with another delighted squeal.
"Oh my, Azu-chan, red looks very good on you!" Himeragi was wearing an off the shoulder and cropped red blouse, paired with a high waisted, solid black colored skirt. She was even wearing black heels. The view of her in red and her never before exposed shoulders made the boys flush. Kise came out in a black dress shirt under a black blazer with matching black pants. He had a red rose pinned to his breast pocket. Both looked ready to attend an evening party. When Himeragi was worried about slipping on the set, Kise offered her a hand. The moment Momoi was waiting for finally came when the photographer asked Kise to initiate a back hug.
"Wha—Back hug? Improper! No!" Apologizing in advance, Kise stepped behind Himeragi. Because of her heels, Himeragi was at the right height for Kise to rest his chin on the top of her head. When he clasped his hands around her stomach, she instinctively blushed, having never been back hugged before. Momoi squealed, catching the scene right on her phone camera, as Kuroko smiled as well. He didn't expect this to fluster Himeragi but then again, a back hug wasn't to be made lightly of. The scene was complete when Himeragi held a red rose in her hands, trying her best not to blush. The couple's photo gave off a mature aura: Himeragi looked up at Kise as if they had been dating for a while and Kise was comfortably back hugging her. The tables quickly turned when the photographer wanted a close up photo of Kise, wanting him to make his best impression of a bad boy.
"K-Ki-chan!" Even Momoi was yelling at Kise when, in addition to the back hug, he brought his head toward Himeragi's neck, being in a position to kiss her neck if he leaned even just a little upward. Himeragi squirmed a little and was back to blushing, before Kise used his right hand to hold her chin in place. He truly did look like a wolf with a gaze that could petrify any girl.
"Kise-kun, don't scare off Azusa-san." When Himeragi ran to seek refuge in Momoi's arms, Kise was back to his whining self, trying to reassure her that he wouldn't have done anything to her.
"Damn right you wouldn't have." Midorima said with his arms crossed. If anything did happen, Kise was going to be dragged out, no exceptions.
"Will a hug make up for my behavior, Azu-cchi?" Kise was starting to resemble the puppy even more and it irked Midorima the most.
"I swear if Kise utters 'hug' one more time, I'm going to drag him out myself." They all stopped counting how many times Kise hugged Himeragi and watched her push away his face when he tried to embrace her.
"Well every time Ki-chan asks to hug or hugs Azu-chan, she becomes more immune to his charms."
"So that's to say that Kise-kun is ruining his chances without thinking." Midorima looked exceptionally triumphant to hear that. They were so engaged in a contest of who had the closest guess to when Kise would find out the truth, that they didn't realize that Himeragi was already changing into the next outfit.
"Midorin, you're just happy that competition is thinning out, no?" He denied it, not before almost bumping into Himeragi, who was making his cheeks hot. This time she was wearing a casual, round neck solid red colored belted mini dress. Momoi nodded at the choice; it was clear that red was a great color on Himeragi.
"Why did I come today?" Midorima facepalmed, not being able to calm down his racing heart. Himeragi took that as a cue to leave, joining the Kise on the set.
"To protect Azu-chan right?" Kuroko and Momoi couldn't help but chuckle after Momoi asked the question, as Midorima's reason surely wasn't to see Himeragi all dressed up. They were all on the same page in the next instant, seeing what Kise reactions to Himeragi's calves still being sore and making it painful for her to stand on her tiptoes.
"Sorry I'm not in the best shape right now."
"No problem. Because…" When he lifted her in his arms so that their faces were at the same level, even Himeragi was surprised. "I'll support you, okay?" Because they were completing the task and it was easier for Himeragi to look at Kise this way, she didn't object. "Your thighs—" Kise had forgotten how powerful Himeragi was and was about to sneak in a comment, not knowing the consequences.
"Try and complete that sentence, if you dare." Himeragi threatened. His face paled and he quickly moved on, not wanting to get hit, even though he was going to compliment her for having strong leg muscles. Kuroko told Midorima to hold in his anger as the latter told him not to talk to him as they were incompatible.
"Would it be different if Akashi-cchi said it?"
"He wouldn't say that." Kise thought otherwise and was unsatisfied that she didn't have a reaction to him bringing up Akashi.
"The one you're looking at today… is me right?" he asked, not being able to smile without knowing how Himeragi was feeling. Even if she was unwilling, he'd just work harder to make her feel happy. When the photographer told them both to get a little closer, Himeragi cupped Kise's cheeks and squished them.
"Are you someone that cares so much about where others are looking when you can make them look at you? You're Kise, the one in high demand, no?" She disregarded the manager asking them what was wrong to continue glaring at him for forgetting his sense of self-worth. "Where's your dignity, your self-respect? Yes, I'm looking at you." In that moment, he realized Himeragi was always keeping an eye on him; how else would she know that he was losing his sense of worth because of the words of shallow, fan girls who only liked him for his looks and because he thought she wasn't looking at him? Compounded to all of this, he was restraining himself, thinking of Himeragi as someone delicate.
"I hear ya loud and clear, Azu-cchi." She let out a yelp of surprise when he lowered her body in his arms and wrapped his left arm around her back, completing the highly requested princess carry. "It makes me happy to see you blushing for me, Azu-cchi~"
"Himeragi-san, please look willing to be in Kise-kun's arms!" Momoi and Kuroko couldn't help but laugh. For the manager to have to say meant that whatever expression Himeragi currently had her face, showed she wasn't willing to be in his arms.
"Hm… I won't let you fluster me again." she said with a mischievous glint in her eyes, before she wrapped her arms around his neck. Since her face didn't need to be in the shot, it was the perfect position.
"B-Bold, Azu-chan!"
"Are you in favor or disapproving of it, Momoi?" Momoi didn't respond as her reaction could also describe the last outfit of the photo shoot.
"I can't wait to see you in the last dress, Azu-cchi. Momocchi and I picked it together." That didn't seem to make the notion any better, as Himeragi recalled that Momoi always wanted to dress her up in mini dresses that in her opinion, showed off too much skin. She was right in her bad premonition, having gotten changed into a Korea imported dress from Milkcocoa, the Rebecca white frill dress. Although the length was just barely okay by Himeragi's standards, it was the sleeveless, spaghetti straps that made her embarrassed.
"It's a shame that all of the guys that are after Azu-chan can't see this in person…" Momoi said, genuinely disappointed and pondering the idea of taking a photo and sending it to the other people she was thinking about. Himeragi was even wearing a coral lipstick that suited her neutral skin tone very well.
"Who are you talking about Satsuki…" When Kise had an explosive reaction to Himeragi that made her ready to kick him, Momoi sighed, as it would have helped Kise's case to silently appreciate the look, not complimenting it to no end. Midorima did his best to not blush but failed miserably.
"Shall we make it a melancholic scene where the boy turns away from the girl?" Himeragi didn't react and that didn't sit well with Kise. He was the one to object, refusing to display that kind of behavior toward her.
"Azu-cchi, if there was one thing I'd dislike about you, it'd be this."
"Hm?"
"You don't know how you should be treated. You let yourself be rejected when you don't deserve that." Akashi was a great guy but as his rival for Himeragi's affections, Kise hated to see her always being the one giving and receiving nothing in return. Himeragi knew Kise was referring to Akashi and smiled; he wasn't wrong but at the same time, she did receive many things from Akashi, although most of the recent gifts were just fits of confusion.
"Kise, I'm not saying this because it's a bad thing. But stop playing the good guy." After thinking about Kise's words, Himeragi understood what her dignity was and where it stemmed from. That was why she could tell him that he was slowly losing his dignity.
"Good guy? I think I've been pretty bad lately…" Himeragi was going to respond that he wasn't the type to be a good boy anyway but thought it wasn't wise to make him cry at this moment.
"I'm talking about in regards to the team. I appreciate that you've made less trouble than Aomine but if you want to beat him, you have to unleash your instincts and fight with him without holding anything back." Kise understood her words. He also wanted to attempt a one-on-one with Aomine, knowing that he'd lose. He was mainly worried about Aomine's temper but she was right; why did Kise have to care if he wasn't a good guy anyways?
"What about when it comes to you?"
"When it comes to me? What does that mean?" When Kise phrased it that way, Himeragi didn't understand, since her definition of a bad boy was someone who didn't listen and purposely provoked her, someone like Aomine.
"Hm…" Kise didn't know how to properly say it but he wanted her to know that he was interested, without having to outright confess, as much as he knew she appreciated honesty.
"Kise." When the photographer and Kise looked at her, they were shocked by her smile. It wasn't the biggest smile she ever showed but the combination of her ruffled bangs, rosy cheeks and golden eyes made for a very attractive look. As the photographer took as many shots as possible, Kise was immobilized. She didn't explain, but she was grateful to him for telling her to care more for herself. She had to admit that at some point, she almost forgot her own dignity, her self-worth that made it possible for her to do the things that she did. Kise's words were a kind reminder that she was a person that wanted to be accepted too.
"Geez… Every time I think I have my feelings figured out, you just…"
"Azu-cchi, I'm sorry." He said, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. When she looked up, he was leaning downwards, as everyone in the studio gasped. Kise was against the idea of kissing when it was first brought up but Himeragi looked great in the dress he chose for her and was smiling for him. The trio watching was shocked by Himeragi rejecting his kiss on the lips, by kissing him on the cheek. The manager was all for it, asking for more pictures to be taken.
"Why do you look so shocked? Part of the plan today was to market this new lipstick." Himeragi said, purposely leaving a kiss mark on Kise's cheek. Kise's face turned the same shade of pink as the lip color she left on his cheek.
"K-Kiss…!" Himeragi couldn't tell if he was asking it as a question because he was trembling but received her answer, in the form of a kiss to the left side of her neck. As she gasped in shock and slapped the side of her neck to protect it, Midorima's soul was leaving his body.
"As expected, Kise-kun is crafty." No one would have predicted what Kise was intending to do, with that confused expression on his face. Before Midorima dragged Kise out to be beaten for sexual harassment, the photo shoot was wrapped up, with the producers choosing the pictures that would be added as entries in a magazine to be released in a few weeks. Even though he received a long lecture from Midorima and Himeragi, Kise was more than happy to know that the beautiful smile Himeragi showed, was for him and him only. He would risk any consequence to see it again.
If Himeragi thought Kise's behavior was worthy of bringing a headache, she and Momoi had a hurricane coming for them. The following week started with two misconceptions that evolved into royal headaches for the First String's managers.
"It's too quiet. Things haven't blown up yet." It wasn't a good prediction but Himeragi was expecting the boys to lash out even more than they already have. She was finishing up her notes for Akashi, both for the basketball club and for Student Council early Monday morning. There was also an incident that happened to the tennis club, one of the clubs that had their ace removed from the team because of the previous harassment scandal. Although Himeragi predicted it, to not have dealt with it last Friday was putting a damper on her mood. As worries swam around in her busy mind, her nails couldn't help but scratch the side of her neck, as she continued to work and scratch.
"Azu-chan, about this—What happened?!" Himeragi didn't register any pain but when Momoi came to find her, the left side of her neck was bleeding from over scratching. Himeragi's index finger showed that it was self-inflicted, as Momoi conjured up all sorts of misunderstandings. "Azu-chan, please don't choose to die…"
"No no, I was just lost in thought…" There was really no excuse for what happened as being lost in thought didn't usually yield this kind of result.
"Let's go get it treated!" But Himeragi continued to type the last sentence of the report, not willing to move until it was finished. "But can't that be done in a few minutes?" Momoi's words snapped Himeragi out of her detrimental mood, as she realized that she was foolish, choosing work over everything else.
"... Yes." Seeing Himeragi so quiet and resigned to listening, Momoi knew something was on her mind. Himeragi figured Momoi's intuition would pick up on it and smiled. "I'm being a little excessive about getting work done to make up for all of the chaos happening." Momoi glanced at the stack of papers and the report that Himeragi needed to print out from her laptop. With the addition of the envelope she'd have to give her later, Momoi was worried about the Himeragi who was swamped with work.
"I have to help Azu-chan!" After putting on a bandaid that covered up Himeragi's cut, Momoi couldn't help but think that the position of the cut would invite misunderstandings, especially since Kise did kiss her neck a few days ago.
"Azu-chan, shall we mess with Ki-chan a little?" At this time, Momoi didn't realize that more than just Kise would be worried about the band aid and that the situation would be blown out of proportion. When the four other starters came at Kise and Kuroko's call, they saw Himeragi and Momoi conversing, not knowing what was making Momoi so excited and Himeragi so sleepy. When the girls exited the classroom, the boys were all even more worried by what they saw.
"Okay… Who did that?" For once, all six of them were looking at the exact same spot, the band aid on the side of Himeragi's neck. Akashi, Kuroko and Aomine weren't convinced that it was what the others were thinking it was until Midorima and Kuroko suddenly recalled the possible culprit.
"Kise/Kise-kun…" He was about to deny it until he remembered what he did during the photo shoot. Akashi didn't look particularly disturbed for two reasons: the first being that whatever his teammates were thinking was unlikely and two being he was not supposed to be involved in Himeragi's matters. But Kise's next question would shock all of his teammates.
"But do hickeys take two days to appear?" No one except Midorima moved as Kise's scream resounded in the otherwise quiet school. Whacking him as hard as he could, Midorima then dragged Kise to Momoi's classroom. Since Kise was the largest suspect, he had better make amends himself.
"Midorin? What is it?" They both came to her classroom to ask her about Himeragi, until they realized that she immediately put a sealed document back into her bag. Seeing Momoi looking worried that they saw the document, Midorima quickly shifted gears.
"What is that letter?" Momoi gulped and Kise turned paler by the minute because Momoi was keeping secrets from them too. It was a long story that Momoi promised she'd keep a secret so she needed some way to get out of this situation.
"It's really nothing! I have to hand this to Azu-chan so if you don't have any other questions—"
"Give that here, Momoi."
"No! You're not a part of the Disciplinary Committee so why would I give it to you, Midorin?"
"Kise, go grab it." Kise mumbled a "rodger!" and lunged for it, before Murasakibara grabbed his head.
"What are you doing to Sa-chin, Kise-chin?"
"Won't you all just listen? It's nothing so please don't get involved!" Momoi said, as they were making a ruckus that she didn't want to deal with, when all she wanted to do was pass on something to Himeragi. Before Midorima and Kise could object, they heard voices down the hall too.
"Himeragi-san!" Around the corner, they saw Himeragi being accosted by a male student, who they had never seen her speak to before. "Please let me take responsibility for what happened on Friday!" Having jumped to conclusions already, Midorima, Kise and Murasakibara's mouths all hanged open.
"No, It was my oversight that led to the mishap. I should have known someone would lash out after being kicked off the team."
"No no, we were all careless! I'm sorry that it happened while you were taking a break!"
"Regardless, I'm still in the process of resolving the situation."
"Then I'll come to ask for updates whenever I can throughout the day!" Himeragi told him not to but he didn't listen, as her committee members sighed with her.
"Huh? So it wasn't me? I mean I shouldn't be relieved and I have no right to be angry either…! But updates on what, the hickey?"
"So who was it…? Someone that got kicked off a team?"
"What investigation could there be about her own neck…" Momoi wasn't kind enough to dispel their misunderstandings and internally laughed, knowing that they were all getting the wrong idea and weren't even thinking about the same things.
"Desperate times call for desperate measures. Let's go, Murasakibara, Kise." Momoi regretted her previous decision as Kise and Midorima in particular, had a knack for overreacting.
"Wait, it's really not what you're thinking!" They didn't listen like the troublesome bunch they were. At wit's end, Momoi sent a message to Himeragi, who she couldn't see right now either, as the latter was headed outside.
"What does she mean when she says we're in trouble…?" Her fellow female committee members had a feeling it was her clubmates making a ruckus again and frowned.
"Vice-President, does the cut on your neck hurt? Should we change the band aid for you?" For some reason, only the girls had the tact to ask for the real story behind Himeragi's cut and they were annoyed by all of the boys who judged their Vice-President prematurely. It didn't help that she didn't know what the boys were misunderstanding either. Therefore, the new plan was to let not just anybody get close to her.
"Should we go get some coffee?" She shook her head to both suggestions, stretching her arms and getting ready to check on the tennis club's clubroom. When Midorima convened the meeting to get to the bottom of the situations with Momoi and Himeragi, Akashi didn't go under the premise that he had work and Aomine couldn't because he fell asleep on his desk.
"What are the ideas on what that was in Momoi-san's bag?" Murasakibara was the first one to answer.
"Maybe it's a food voucher that she wants to give to us at the end of the day~" The expression on Midorima's face told him to take this seriously or he would voluntarily see himself out and Kise, in an attempt to pacify, answered next.
"W-What if it's a letter of resignation?! What if Momocchi is tired of us?"
"But if someone is tired of us, wouldn't it be Azusa-san—" They all realized that in addition to Momoi, Himeragi could be thinking about quitting as well.
"Then why hasn't she given it to Himeragi?"
"What if the scenario goes something like this?" Kuroko suddenly said, having thought about it for a while and tied loose ends with this one theory. "Momoi-san wants to stop being manager but seeing Azusa-san so drowned in work, she has a hard time giving her the resignation letter. Azusa-san would have persuaded Momoi-san to not quit but she's currently busy trying to figure out who sexually harassed her."
"Would anybody be so calm about their own sexual harassment though?" Kise asked. When they thought back to Himeragi's facial expressions and her propensity to make decisions using her head, they knew it wasn't too outrageous of an idea. If she was spearheading the project, then they'd probably have nothing they could help with.
"Then this is the plan. Murasakibara, Kuroko and I will persuade Momoi to stay as manager. Kise, you go find Aomine and figure out how to help Himeragi." Kuroko knew that Midorima didn't have any idea how to get on Himeragi's good side, passing that task to Kise and Aomine who were constantly making trouble for her. The two girls in question shivered. Seeing Himeragi's listlessness, the two girls by her side vowed to protect her.
"We'll reclaim our managers…!"
"We'll protect our Vice-President…!"
