Kaiya was with Tsunade and Sakura for dinner that night.
It was then at the Ichiraku Ramen shop where Kaiya sensed it.
Her body went numb and she felt the wind breeze by.
The bells ringing.
The wind gave a hiss and then stopped.
Could this mean?
She excused herself with a lame excuse and went to walk to the forest.
The wind was still silent.
Kaiya looked around for something.
Not just anything, but something specific.
A snake of any sort.
Just then she saw it, a white scaled snake.
As soon as they locked eye contact it began to flop around like a fish out of water. Suffocating.
Kaiya gasped.
Her body knew just then,
Orochimaru was dead.
From the snake's mouth came out another snake,
Red as fire.
Sasuke had killed Orochimaru.
Her curse linked to Orochimaru now passed to another and she can feel this new hand.
Warm.
Her chest started burning.
This heat is like fire.
And like that, Kaiya knew she would forever be entwined with Sasuke for as long as he lived.
She wondered if Sasuke could feel or recognize her presence.
In fact, he did, on his way to seek Karin with Suigestu, he felt a chill down his spine and his heartfelt clarity.
Sasuke has only felt this way with one person.
Is this what would become now that he absorbed Orochimaru?
