"Huh?" I looked between the trio, wondering what they all had to say. Lots of different thoughts ran through my mind, but I couldn't pin down what exactly each of them had in common.
Shouta shoved his hands in his pockets with a small sigh, "We all want to have a chance at dating you essentially. That's the gist."
"Shouta, you're supposed to be smoother than that about it!" Hizashi said, obviously having had a grand plan built up in his head as to how he was going to say it.
Toshinori rubbed the back of his neck with a bit of a nervous smile but looked at Shouta, being on Hizashi's side on this one. "You really are so straightforward, Shouta." Toshinori then turned to look at me again, "Yeah, he's right, though."
My face was back to burning, and my heart was beating fast. Why would all three of these men want me? I'm just a boring office worker. My thoughts start to go out of control as I put my hands on my cheeks. I get lost in my head before Shouta puts a hand on my shoulder to try and snap me out of it.
"Hey...is this too much for you?" He asked as he leaned down a bit to be at eye level with me, which made me internally squeal.
I waved my hands out in front of me and shook my head, "No no, I'm fine! Just surprised...I don't think I could just choose. You are all just so great." I said, now in my head weighing the pros and cons of each before they even said that I had to choose.
"Nobody is asking you to choose! We all just get to date you at the same time whoever you fall for wins! It will be the battle of the heroes to win the princess' heart!" Hizashi said with dramatic arm movements and a big grin like they had planned this out already.
Toshi coughed a bit at Hizashi's wording and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, "Ah, well, we'll try to be as civil as possible with each other, of course. Everything at your pace." Toshinori said, clearly on board with the plan and poorly hiding his eagerness.
All of them seemed to have an agreement that they had previously made, and it baffled me to no end. Is this something I want? These three men in contention for my heart? The whole idea made me go quiet and think about it. I definitely found all of them attractive clearly...so what would be the downside.
After a few moments of consideration, I just nod, "Okay. Are there any...rules or restrictions?" I ask, glancing between the three of them, wondering what all was off-limits dating wise.
Shouta was the one to answer, "Just have to tell the others when you're having a date, and no going out of town with one of us unless the other approve of course. Other than that, we play by your rules." His smirk returned to his face.
I nodded, finding those rules to be easy to follow and glanced around, realizing we were still in a dark classroom. "Okay, but can we get out of this classroom. If someone walked in, they would probably take this the wrong way...well, I mean the right way...but out of context?" My words trail off before Shouta and Toshinori each took one of my hands, and Shouta leads the way out of the class. Toshi walked next to me, holding my hand in his large one, which made me feel delighted. I felt someone touch the back of my shirt and hold onto it, and when I glanced back, I saw Hizashi following with a bit of a pout, probably because he's not included, and it made me chuckle a bit.
Once we were on the halls, I let go of each of their hands as we were still on school property and continued to walk towards my desk to grab my stuff I left. The trio followed. "So then who gets to go first?" I asked as we made it back to my desk and started packing things up to head back to my place.
They looked between each other for a moment, but Shouta stepped up, "I've known you longer, so it's only fair I go first. I've been waiting the longest." He said as he took my bag once it was packed to carry it for me. "Let's go out to dinner tonight. I don't have hero work tonight."
I smile with a nod, "Yeah, dinner sounds good right now. I'll see you guys in the morning, okay?" I say to the pair of blondes, one of which was still a bit pouty and the other who just seemed happy to have this off his chest. They walked off and left Shouta and me alone to walk out of the school. "I didn't think you thought of me like that, Sho," I said as we walked out the front gate and turned to head back to my place.
"I think you're just a bit dense sometimes. It's cute, though." He said as he still carried my bag, and we headed home.
