I feel like falling to the ground, my ankle hurts like it was shot.
"My prince!" The priests shout, "Are you okay?" I look up and realise I'm really fallen towards the ground, I even was out for a short moment.
/Yugi? Are you okay/ I ask through the link we share what we discovered during our wedding night.

"Please look for Yugi, I'm afraid he is hurt, he should be halfway from the hospital back home!"
"Yes sir, do we need to call Isis over?"
I crawl back up and walk with a limp towards the throne, "Yes I say, I think I twisted my ankle when I fell."
Yugi still goes to the hospital and volunteer at the kids nursery, also he gets lessons to be a prince and sometimes father allows him do a small trial, like promise I guide him then.
When Yugi goes to the hospital he goes in tiger form, to prevent he is getting caught he where's a silver and golden shocker with the Sennen seal on it, but most people know him already by just looking to his right ear, where his rainbow piercing shines.
I switch them between gold and rainbow, but Yugi sticks by his rainbow, he now has a pin in it, also I decided I don't go back to the Rainbow Love Lunchroom, with the responsibility's I have as prince and Guiding Yugi I could not find the time for it.
"My prince, Aman called me over he told me you fell."
"Yes, I don't know for sure but it felt like I was shot in the ankle, I'm afraid that's what happened to Yugi, but my ankle keeps throbbing, I think I twisted it."

Isis carefully takes of my shoe, and I see it already, that's going to be a trip to the hospital.
"Do you think it's broken?"
"I'm not sure but you know the drill."
"Damnit, okay, call mom please."
"Yes sir."
"My prince we found him, the once who attacked him are already in the dungeon, prince Yugi is taken to the hospital his ankle was bleeding badly."
Both our moms rush in, "Atem what happened?" My mom asks.
"Yugi is wounded and in the hospital, because I felt how he got hurt and twisted my ankle by doing so, we need to go now!"
Both moms support me to the waiting car while his mom is scowling, "That link the two of you share is freaking scary, I wish you didn't had it!"
"Mam! That stupid link made me figure out Yugi is now very much in trouble, before someone else figured it out and they stripped Yugi from his furr! Mom I tell dad these bastards are mine!"
"I send him a message now, please Atem calm down."
"I try mom, but knowing Yugi is wounded doesn't make me feel any better." I say wile getting drowsy, they must have sedated him.
"Atem you okay?"
"I think they sedated Yugi." I say in a weak voice.
When we arrive at the hospital mam goes for a wheelchair and mom helps me out the car.
We go in and mom says I need help while mam asks for Yugi.
"You are?" The nurse at the desk asks.
"I'm Yugi's mother!"
"She is." Mom and I tell the nurse.
She nods taps on the screen and says, "They need to do surgery, and need someone with the same bloodtype just in case."
I want to speak up but she beats me, "Sorry prince, but there are 3 years past since your transfusion, and it needs to be clean for 5 years before you can donate."
"I have the same bloodtype and he is my son!"
"Okay, then stay here and don't drink ore eat, if he needs a transfusion then we can call you."
I'm taken to a room and they examine my ankle, an x-ray is made and now I wait.
My doctor comes in, he bows towards mom and me and opens his computer screen, "You made a nasty twist my prince, your ankle is broken, as I'm correct you inherit Yugi's Neko gen 3 years ago?"
"You are correct."
"And you also transform fully?"
"Yes."
"Then I highly recommend as long as you have cast NOT transform, it would hold back your recovery."
"Sigh, is surgery required?"
"No sir, but it would be if you break your ankle again, or if you transform, the fracture is at the same place as many years ago."
Ow did I mention I loved to do stunts when I was younger? Yeah I did, and it gave me many fractures.
"Damnit and to think of it, with the last three fractures I didn't stunt." I mumble.
"That's because you are a grown man now Atem." mom chuckles "Although didn't stop your uncle when he still was alive." She says with a hint of sadness in her eyes. I get a cast and need to walk on crutches, but due to the sedation they gave Yugi, I feel drowsy, so mom plants me in a wheelchair.
Together we walk to Akiko, she still is in the waiting room.
"They just came to update, Yugi was shot the bullet has crushed the bone, the bullet is out the bone fixed and he needs to wear a cast and walk with crutches, in an hour they bring him up and we can go home with him."
"Thank God." I say.
"Atem, I think it's safer for Yugi if he stops over here, we don't have any guards that are fast enough to follow him when he is cat."
"I don't know mom, he loves it here, hmm I let him decide, but as long as he needs cast he goes nowhere."
"That's good sweetheart."
"Who is here regarding Yugi Sennen?"
"We are." we all say at once.
"He is in out of surgery, follow me please, as you probably heard from your doctor my prince, we highly recommend no changing during the cast period, it took us allot of trouble to change him back to his human form, we also needed to sedate him because he was fighting his attackers off and tried to attack the guards."
Akiko goes in first, I feel Yugi is still drugged, poor guy.
She comes out, I take my moms hand and she looks down. I pull her close and ask softly, "Is that what they call mother instinct? Then why did she not show it when that bastard still was around?"
"I think he controlled her to the max, but yes sweetheart what she shows now is mother instinct."
"Damn she scares me, I know now I never ever must hurt Yugi."
"Than you have me also on your back sweetheart."
"If you two are ready, Amara he asks for you! And Atem I want a word with you."
"Gulp... okay."
"My mom walks in and mam comes straight to the point, I want them to feel pain! More pain then he felt!"
"But mama! That falls under the heavy trials, the only thing I can let them do is whipping, other than that I'm not allowed to."
"I don't care, they hurt my baby boy!" She grabs my wrist in a painful grip.
"Mama calm down please! You are hurting me."

"Sigh, I was a blind woman back then Atem, come let's go to your sweetie." She rolls me in, Yugi lays in the bed
The first thing he asks, when I come in. "Am I going to jail again?"
"Hello sweetie, I'm glad you are okay, no you are not going back to that place sweetie, but the once who did this to you does", I say.
"I'm so sorry!" He cries out, and almost falls out the bed.
"Yugi! Pull yourself together! It wasn't your fault, you did where your shocker did you?" I say in a stern voice.
He nods. "Then you are not to blame so stop this right now!"
"Atem, he just got surgery, do you need to be this stern!" Mom scolds.
"Mom if we want him not to long dwell him in his own sorrow, then he needs to learn not always show weakness, and believe me it hurts me seeing him like this and I want to give him the comfort I used to do!"
"Atem is right mom, I needed his sternness for a moment." Yugi smiles weakly.
"Yugi, as long as you are wearing cast you are not coming to the hospital, and if you are better Shimon takes you to prevent these attacks."
"I understand Atem."
"Good." I say and soften my voice.
"Can I have a hug now?"
"Shure sweetie say and pull myself out the wheelchair and hug him."
"Atem?"
"Hmm?"
"What happen with you, why are you in a wheelchair?"
"Apparently I not only feel your emotions, can we communicate with the mindlink, but also feel your pain, when you got shot I twisted my ankle and broke it, I tried call you several times and with that, I knew you where in trouble."
"What happens with my attackers?"
"You do the first trial, and then we let father finish it."
The door opens, "Good afternoon my prince, how are you feeling?"
"A bit drowsy but ready to go home." Yugi says truly.
"Good, did the nurse told you no transformation until the cast is off?"
"Yes they did, does it also counts for Atem?" He asks while pointing towards me.
"It counts for the both of you, and maybe you wait with the uhm, intercourse until you are healed properly."

"Sadly due to the recovery I still am undergoing, I can't transform fully, Yugi says while he transforms into part Neko, as you can see people of Egypt, this man attacked a royalty, a prince! And by doing so also my husband because we share a connection that goes beyond limits! And for doing so I punish you to another month in the dungeon, but now you are in a cage surrounded by real tigers, they will not attack you, only when they are given the order to do so!"
"After a month the pharaoh will give you your final trial! Guards send him away!"
"I transform back to normal and Yugi collapse in the throne."
"Good job sweetie." I say while walking over, "Come on let's take a rest."

So I ofcourse chase him, when suddenly I need to slip non graceful because Mahad is standing in my way! The vase standing on the pillar almost broke, but I knew how to avoid it.

I change to part Neko, "did you see Yugi running by Mahad?"
"He went that way, he jumped gracefully over me so I wasn't able to stop him, the non graceful slip you made was quite humorous." He says with a smirk.

"It was a experimental drug, and now it's a forbidden drug, because 7 of the 10 patients died by complications, I'm aloud to use the pills until they are out, but then I'm off treatment."
"How long?"
"At most a year, maybe less." Seth says.
"I-I need to discuss this with Yugi, if I inherit it then he also."
"I understand. But please don't wait to long. My sweet brother."
"GOD DAMNIT!" I shout when I walk out.
CLOSE THE GATE, AND GET THE CAGE!" Dad yells.

"When Seth told us he is incurable sick you got the red flag, I chased you for two full hours before I could catch you, we had a fight but I could overpower you, the guards sedated you and we could take you back home safely."
"Did I hurt you?"
"Just some scratches and a few bite marks, we can be glad you didn't hurt someone. Atem, what do we do?"
"I don't know sweetie, I just never imagined me on the throne."
"And that's the reason why they want you!" he says.
"What!"
"Why did you think they wanted you to train me become a prince! Because you can do this, you always told me to believe in myself."
"But why not Mana? She is also a royal!"

Because I'm in a way very much stronger then Mahad is, I maybe didn't show it then, but I do now! Seth needed time, somehow we already knew the medicine would stop, I can smell it every day getting stronger." Yugi says.
"Atem they made me prince because they knew you can do this, and they know I will support you as your husband, but also as your king."
"But Yugi, how badly I wand kids from you, fact is we are both males, we can't have a heir! After us who will take over the throne!"
"Remember? Ryou told us we are immortal, and if we truly want we can make Heba or Simi our rightful heir."
"But Simi is not a legal child!"
"Then the fuck we make her legal! I'm not a legal prince either, Atem, why giving a non Egyptian the chance and a full blood Egyptian not!" he yells frustrated.
